ooo. i skipped most of a episode cause i didn't see many important details in it that momoko could make a difference in 😭 please don't get mad 😔
ooo. if you had to pick a them song for momoko, what would you chose?
ooo. we had left our camp spot a while ago, and we were heading over to yuba, and i was on lashes as i hold my new hat in my hands at i look at it, a small frown on my lips as i peer at it, my eyes down casted. Nami looks over her shoulder, "You alright there momoko?" She questions as i look back up to her, "Oh! Yeah, i'm fine" i lie as i sweat a bit as i wave it off, this makes nami purse her lips before sighing a bit, "...alright i suppose..." she mumbles not all that believing of me.
I place the hat on my head, and i look up at the orange and red- luffy, chopper, and zoro had to deal with something, i was asleep so i didn't really know much on why they left or stuff... eh- its whatever im sure they'll find their way especially since chopper does have pretty good sense of smell. I look behind to see usopp falling behind from his lack of energy, i just shrug it off. Sanji looks behind his shoulder at usopp.
"Your falling behind." He tells the panting usopp, i just watch, "What happened to all that strength and energy you had captain usopp?" He teases, i just sigh as i hop off lashes, nami and vivi look at me with confusion, but i wave it off as i head over to Usopp, "oh that? I meant more in a metaphorical sense really." Usopp pants out as i make my way to him, "Well hang in there, just a little bit longer." Nami says.
"I got you usopp." I sigh out as i grab him and hold him over my shoulder, "I'll carry you usopp." I shrug, and usopp relaxes, "thanks... momoko..." he breathes out, and i look at him for a moment before directing my gaze forward, "Its no problem, my legs were starting to get sore anyways." I wave it off as i walk with him over my shoulder. "-you know... you guys are amazing..." vivi says, and i blink in confusion.
"Huh?" Nami hums in question, and i just peer at vivi with question, "you know, i've been thinking about it ever since little garden... you all seem to have so much faith in one another, how do you do that?" Vivi says and i swallow a lump. 'Faith in one another...' I chew the inside of my cheek, "how? I guess its something im not really conscious of. Its not something i've really thought of before" nami shrugs. I just silently listen, a bit conflicted on my thoughts about faith between me and my crewmates.
"That's whats so amazing, that kind of unconditional faith in others is so hard to come by." Vivi says, and i just watch and listen, we then start walking again, "I cant say for sure, but maybe we trust each other because we all do whatever we can the best that we can." Nami says as we walk, well- she and vivi were on lashes. "Huh?" Vivi hm's, "A while back, on my home island luffy said something that makes sense now." Nami says and it was as if there was a flashback happening- and i would question it, but at this point- i Just dont gaf anymore.
"I remember those words well, and i thought "huh? This is something that makes these pirates different, his is how they are" if your alone, your strength is limited, theres only so much that one person can do afterall. One isnt enough, you need friends, but at the same time it amounts to nothing if those friends aren't trying every bit as hard as you do what they can do- well, i don't know if that was a answer ( W SPEECH 🙌🏼‼️ )" nami says and i swallow from her words.
'Being alone... i've experienced that more times than i can count... but ever since i joined this crew... i've made more friends than i have for a long time...' I chew the inside of my lip as i continue to carry usopp, i did space a bit out because next thing i know- i see the three boys, luffy was jumping in the air, and a small smile appears on my lips, 'yeah... friends...' I hum inaudibly.
ooo. it was a while later, and i still had usopp over my shoulders, "Hey luffy... what was that paper your brother gave to you?" Usopp questions as he pants and i look over at luffy, who was holding ace's vivre card, and i just sigh a bit. "Its just paper?" Chopper questions- and sanji takes the paper, "let me see." Sanji says, as he holds it up into the sun. "well, it looks like it really is just a piece of paper." Sanji says.
"Actually, its a vivre card." I state, and they look at me, "A... vivre card?" Chopper questions, "Is it some kind of food?" Luffy questions, and i gain a irk mark, "No you moron!! A vivre card is piece of paper that shows you towards the person who gave you it no matter where they are in the world!" I explain, and they awe in understanding, "Ah~! Your so smart momoko-chan~!!" Sanji simps, and i just wave him off.
"Oh! So i guess i should keep it then" luffy shrugs, and i sigh. "Yes. If you plan on seeing ace again, then you should keep it with you." I state, "Luffy, give me your hat ribbon so i can sew it to the underside of it since it's so important." Nami says. Holding her hand out as luffy hands his hat. "Sew it on real good." Luffy states, and i just shift usopp so that i was carrying him in a piggy back ride as it was making my shoulder sore. "Yeah, yeah" nami sighs out.
nami had finished sewing the vivre card on luffy's hat ribbon, and i was watching, usopp still on my back as he was still all tired out or something. "There, its all done. Here you go" nami says before handing luffy's hat back, i just watch blandly. "Now i dont have to worry about losing it! Thanks! Hehe" luffy says in glee as he places the hat back on, "thanks again... momoko..." usopp thanks again, i simply hum as i nod.
"You guys, we're close now, yuba's just past those rocks there. One last push and im sure we'll make it." Vivi says and i sigh in relief, chopper, usopp, vivi, and luffy cheer and glee, and luffy starts running as we start walking once again. "Yuba!! Here we come!!" Luffy shouts in glee."Momoko-chan, are you sure your fine carrying usopp?" Sanji asks, and i hum as i look over at him, "I'm all good. Usopp's pretty light." I answer him, and sanji nods from my plain answer.
ooo. i had got back on lashes, causing usopp to end up being carried by zoro, afterall, i wasn't going to carry usopp the entire time. The wind was a bit strong, "Ah! Look up ahead! I see a light!!" Vivi pointe out, and i see said light. "Does that mean we've made it to yuba? I cant see with all this sand blowing everywhere." Luffy says, and it too was a bit hard to see the town of yuba.
My nose didn't have the best picking up on sent due to the fact it was not only dry, but the sand didn't help along with the wind that only just moves the sand around . though i could feel it in my gut that something wasn't right here, "Something doesn't feel right... something is wrong down there, i can tell!" Vivi says and i take notice of her faint sweat in worry and nervousness.
"Oh no! The entire cities being hit by a sand storm!" Vivi shouts as it was barely noticeable of the town- but it was shown that the town was indeed being hit by a sand storm like she had said- making me frown a bit in distaste. Soon- the sand storm dies out, and we head down there- only to see the town basically racked by the sand storm.
Vivi goes to one of the houses that was basically all baried in sand, her expression and the bare sent im able to pick up was one of worry and disbelief. "It cant be...!" She says in disbelief as we all make our way to her, and it seemed as though the entire town was covered in sand. I had my arms crossed over, as i stare down at the town. "It doesn't look good. This place doesn't look all that different from that arramallu ( i forgot how to spell it... ) town from before." Zoro comments.
I look at it as i have a strange feeling about these occurrent sand storms: as if someone was making said storms, and not as if it was natural sand storms. "Hm... this is odd..." i mumble as i pee down at the town. "Weter!" Luffy says with his tongue out, and i guess he meant 'water'... i stare at him with a deadpan. "Vivi-chan, i thought this city was supposed to be some sort of oasis?" Sanji questions vivi, making me snap my gaze over to vivi.
"It looks like the oasis has disappeared... its been swallowed up by all this sand..." vivi trembles, and i snap my gaze to what seems to be a old man digging, causing me to blink in confusion- this also catches vivi off guard, and i peer down at the man. "I assume that your travelers... you must be exhausted from all the time spent in that heat. Hgh- sorry but this town's a bit dried up too, it doesn't have much relief to offer. But still, your free to rest here for a while." The skinny man says, and i look down at the man.
He then goes back to digging, "we may not have much water, but there's plenty of inns here in the town. Its what we've pride in ourselves on after all." The old man states, and i just watch him dig. "Thank you... but we came here because we thought that the rebel army was here." Vivi states, making the man look at us with whitened eyes. "What business do you have with the rebel army?" The man says darkly before sending many barrels, but they just go through me due to my devil fruit, 'score~...' I hum a bit.
"Curse you!! If your here to join the rebel army, you can just go back to where you came from!" The old man says, continuing to throw jugs and whatnot at us, one even hitting luffy on his forehead, making me snicker inaudibly. The old man then stops as he was out of jugs to throw, "if your looking for those fools look elsewhere, their no longer in this town." The old man says and i sigh in annoyance as i grumble- my arms crossed, 'damn, after all this time...' I grumble in my head.
"WHAT?! THEIR GONE?!!" Luffy shouts in disbelief, "They left?!" Vivi adds on, though to me- it wasn't necessary since the man told us litterly, that they had left. The old man then goes back to digging for whatever he was, "I'm sure you've noticed. The town was just hit with a sandstorm, but that one certainly wasn't the first. After 3 years of no rain. The land has become increasingly dry, sand storms became a regular occurrence here. Little by little the oasis that we knew was swallowed up, until the town became what you see now. A dying wasteland. With the lack of flow of supplies to the town, the rebel army packed up, they moved on. The rebel base is now located in katorea." The old man states.
The information about how the rebel army was in katorea, it causes my face to twitch in annoyance, 'so we did all this... JUST FOR THE STUPID REBEL ARMY TO BE IN A PLACE WE WERE IN THE FIRST PLACE?!' I grit my teeth as i gain a irk mark, annoyed and honestly ticked off. "Katorea?!" Vivi says in disbelief, "Where's that? Is it close to here, vivi?" Luffy questions, "Its all the way back where we just came from..." I grit with a tick mark on my head as i feel like kicking a rock in anger.
"Katorea?! Thats where i ended up when i got separated from momoko and sanji, and met lashes! Thats right, when i helped you get away. Hold on! Lashes is telling me he was carrying rebel army materials to katorea!" Chopper says, and this ticked me off- and i also beat up lashes as i have a tick mark, my teeth sharp as i grit them. Sanji, usopp, and luffy were also beating lashes up. Then the four of us stop as i clutch my fist as i have a massive irk mark from annoyance.
"Whatever'" chopper translates lashes words, causing the three boys to start beating lashes up. Then they stop as i hit lashes on the top of his head- making him gain a bump on it. "Well grate, coming all this way was just a waste of time." Zoro comments a bit annoyed, "Damn rebel army couldnt just stayed here..." i grumble with a irk mark. The old man then walks closer, and i look at him with confusion.
"Vivi, wait- your name-" the old man breathes out as he looks at vivi, luffy then steps in front of her, a panicked look, "Hold on! She's definitely not a princess!" Luffy panics as i gain a irk mark, i then punch him on the back of his head, "MORON!!" I shout with a irk mark. The old man then makes his way to vivi, "Princess vivi- is that really you?" The old man says before placing his hands on vivi shoulders.
"Your alive! I cant believe it! Thank goodness! Its me vivi! Dont you recognize the? I look different, i lost some weight i suppose." The old man says, and i eye him and vivi, whose eyes widen, "Todo! Is it- really you?" Vivi says in disbelief, and the old man or todo if i heard vivi correctly, eyes water
"that's right." The man replies, and vivi whimpers as she has a hand over her mouth, her eyes wide. I eye her as i had a small frown.
