Ever since both Gemini and Patrick met at Border City Wrestling , the connection thatt he pair of Michigan natives had was pretty hard to ignore & everyone who had been around them had said it from day one , but with the connection that they had & the years that had passed, it had made Gemini know her husband itimatley and by the way he had been acting, she knew that something more was going on with her 'Punk Possum'than he was letting on to her or anyone else, which is why Gem had made sure that the gits were there to witness their dad succeed his goal
When Gemini re-signed with Impact wrestling , similar to Pat rick , she had made sure that when it came to their twin daughters, that if it was needed, that there would be no problems in them attending tapings/PPV & that plans were in place for when they did and tonight, knowing that their dad and Uncle Josh were in matches their 5 year old twin girls w wanted to be there... their mums match going completly over their 5 heads. As she walked in to their locker room , all Gabi could do was smile as she watched hers and Patrick tom boy like twin daughter Pixie play fighting with her uncle Josh and Trey "Pix, what have I told you, protect the face, attack the legs" "thanks mom.." the oldest twin yelled, jumping on Trey legs making him fall "oh... so not fair Gemstone " "love you too Trey'.' Whilst the two men play fought with the little girl , Patrick appeared from the bathroom and walked over to his wife, kissing her "Is flower all good?" he asked, ignoring the squeals from his friends" dude, your child is killing US "Josh declared dramatically , as the girl climbed on his back "I 'v e have told you all before... don't start what you can't finish" "she's her mothers daughter "Gemini added before exclaiming " yeah she's fine. As soon as she saw Trinity, Tricia and Gisele .. honestly I might as well have been the invisable man at that point " . Watching her husbands face & mannerisms as he walked away & sat down, Gemini realised quickly that his head wasn't as clear as he was trying to make it seem 6 everyone around him , looking at her daughters two favourite people, she asked them "yo, dumb & dumber, are you two gonna be okay keeping the eye on Pix for a few?" "course we are "Trey grinned as he picked her up, turning her upside down "we'll only be a few" "take your time" Josh winked knowing exactly what was going on and that she'd seen in Patrick what he had seen in the man the second he walked into the room. As she leant down in front of her daughter, Gemini exclaimed "hey, fairy dust. can you do me a massive favour and cool it with your uncles... just a little bit for me. At least until I get back from talking to your dad.. then we can go and get some food and see if we can find you another victim " "can I see Sami, Holly & Jess too mum?" "she's obsessed" Josh joked "it gives you a break doesn't it" Patrick exclaimed to Josh "good point" the man exclaimed , shutting up "we will see whose here before I have to go to get my makeup done ... we got a deal ? " " "deal "the little girl nodded, fist bumping her mom & walking away, turning to her husband, Gemini exclaimed "Start walkery Mr.-No Arguments!".
After eventually dragging her husband out of the room with her, Gemini turned around to face him, her hands on her hips, a sight that at her petite 5ft4 still made her husband chuckle all these years on "so.. are you gonna tell me what is going on with you Patrick Kenneth Martin or are we in a position where I have to play dirty? because I will do it as well you know! "she exclaimed. Whilst looking at the woman with a smirk on his face and knowing that there was no way in hell that he was going to get away from his wife. he sighed & exclaimed "for the first time in a really, really long time.. I am anxious about this match Mim.... and I mean probably crapping my pants anxious, more so than when we even found about the girls ... I don't wanna let you or the girls down " . As she looked at her husband, Gemini signed and exclaimed softly "you could never let us down Patch... not ever! and you could never let those two down... they idolise you. Ever since we both re signed, this was one of your main goals... it has been ever since you were first here & finally after all this time, you are getting your chance... the chance you should've years ago & we will all be watching dad bring home the gold... prouder than a peacock on parade" . As the man laughed at one of his wife's 'masterpieces of the mind of Mim' , he kissed her lips & replied "you and our girls are everything to me. Gemmy... you make everyday worth living. When we found out that we were having the girls , I was scared that because of what happened with the deer... that I wasn't gonna be any good, just like I told you all those times we had been overlooked before & what it did to me , but, when I look at them... even on my rough days.... I look at them & it's like when the grinch's heart grows three sizes & they make my fear disappear. When I wrestle, I always have something of theirs on me... have I ever told you that? " "no... so that's where their hairbands have been going" Gem smirked" smartass" Patrick exclaimed with a grin before his wife exclaimed, her serious face back on, ready to calm her husband down "you have this in the bag baby.. NOW, tell me exactly what I wanna hear" the woman smiled "Mimi..."he sighed "please" the woman exclaimed, her puppy dog eyes in full gear , the same eyes that his daughters had gotten from her and the Same set of eyes that he could never say no to, sighing, Patrick replied " the universe has finally aligned for me professionally & I will have a good match & with my girls beside me,I'm right where I belong" "I love you" his wife smiled proudly. "I love you too my beautiful little imp of evil" Patrick grinned, kissing her forehead and holding her close" I need to learn to resist the puss in boots eyes" "so never going to happen" Gemini gunned. After a minute or so of holding his wife close to him & enjoying both the intimacy with his wife and the silence that came from their friends watching their daughters , Patrick exclaimed as he raised her chin up to look at him "I know that recently I haven't exactly been fun to be around... what with the stress of this match and everything else gang on and I know i've been up my ass.. but just know, however I act our relationship and our family is the most important thing in my life" and straight after, he then joked "so... how long do you reckon it'll take before we're called back to rescue dumb & dumb-dumb from the' mini Mimi !?" "HEY! she is not as bad as me yet..."however, before she could complete her sentence, the woman heard her phone chime & laughed as she read a message from Tricia that read "I think Josh & Trey are outnumbered" "duty calls daddy" "don't play that game Gemini"her husband warned
A little while later & with Against All odds finally in full swing, Gemini, ready for her street fight, came out of the bathroom to a smiling Shantelle, Chloe, Joe and Mark" is this a mothers meeting ladies and gentlemen, or can anyone join in" Gem joked as she put her earring in, instantly making everyone in the room turn around & Patrick's mouthdrop open (A.N Gemini's Gear)
"Mommy.. you look amazing "Pixie exclaimed in awe "and beautiful" Posie added with a sweet smile while on Chloe's lap "thank you girls, did you eat everything and behave yourselves whilst I was getting ready ? " " they were complete angels Gemma" Shantelle smiled at her best friend . Whilst the girls sat back down, Posie won her Uncle Joe & Pixie sitting with Mark, Patrick & Gemini made eye contact and Patrick exclaimed, giving his wife a pep talk "she's been pushing you for months and months, she's back stabbed you, she caused you to loose your title & she has brought up our girls ... you go out there & you kick her ass... unleash the Michigan in you " "you know all these years on... I still wonder what you mean by that" "it means that you're a psychotic cow! " Joe laughed "thank you on local one" Gem sarcastically responded. After making sure she had everything done for her match, Patrick exclaimed "yo P squared.. mom needs to go out for her match , come over and give her some lovings" , running over to Gemini, both girls hugged their mom "good luck Momma" Posie grinned as Pixie added "toughest Mom ever" "she's your only... shutting up" Mark exclaimed as Gem in i gave her look. After hugging the girls, Gem did the one thing that she had always done ever since they were both newborns & as she hugged them both once more, she kiss each of their cheeks and then kissed the tip of the noses "be good.. both of you and I will be back soon " " I love you baby" Patrick smiled as he made eye contact with her" I love you more". As the match with Alisha went on & more and more blood flowed from both women , Patrick knew in his heart that his wife was beginning to struggle, however well she hid it does anyone know how long is left?" Mark a sked "3 minutes I th... holy Mother..." , stopping mid sentence, the woman's husband instantly wanted to throw up at what he had just seen on the screen ... the image of his wife's face hit the chair head first acter Alisha moved last second causing Gem to have no time to prepare for the impact with the chair (AN think Cody/Shawn Spears with the chair) " that wasn't meant to happen" Patrick whispered. Whilst he watched Gemini struggle to get up & instantly knowing that something was really wrong, Patrick, Joe & Mark willed on Gemini as Shantelle and Chloe kept the girls from watching. When his wife did the MCMG sign into the camera won a wink , he breathed a sigh of relief and whispered "thank.." but before he could finish, once again his wife pushed the boundaries once more, with a sliced bread into a pile of chairs & tacks "just pin her dumb-dumb" Patrick thought, however looking at the fallen woman & remembering everything that her once best friend had put her through over the last few months Gemini, adrenline behind her, let out an almighty roar and locked in her submission within the debris (A. N Yuricamome aka Hartless) " and Alisha taps to the constellation" Tom yelled, a sound that the victor's husband was happy to hear.
When Gemini got backstage after celebrating her well deserved win with the crowd , she instantly went from being in full on 'Jayde' mode, ready to break anyone who crossed her back to. wife and mommy mode', a trait the woman had that had always impressed everyone around. As the bloody faced woman tried to leave the production area, she was stopped by both Gall & Scott who were convinced that she was concussed and knowing how hard headed she was, they knew they needed to be strict" "nice match & what an ending"Gail smiled, passing her some water and a towel "thanks.. I appreciate it" the woman smiled. As her concussion quickly became obvious, Scott exclaimed "however Mrs. Martin... knowing you as well as I do, I can tell that you are concussed and that you're trying to hide it from us ... how and why the hell did you finish the match!!", a fatherly tone prominent in his voice " you could have been seriously hurt! and what about the girls!" "I wasn't going to let Alisha get away with all of the crap that she has been pulling ... not a chance. Especially when she has invovled my family". As Alisha got backstage with Eric (Eddie) by her side, holding her exhausted body up, Josh walked into the production area to find Gemini and noticing the look on the face of his stablemate & also his best friends wife, he instantly stepped forward knowing that not she was not going to hold back despite the state she was in if Alisha started & that she'd probably need pulling back from her Kell. Whilst Josh prepared h"imself, Gem exclaimed smugly plus.. after everything that she did out there... there was no way that she was getting off lightly NO CHANCE!!. They dont call me Queen for nothing " "I can still end you" Alisha growled trying to get to the woman on shaky legs "why don't you tell your face that " Gemini smirked" and your legs". Whilst watching Eric drag his wife away to get checked out and cleaned up, Gemini yelled "you let me know Lishy when you want me to give you another ass kicking... I will be waiting" "will you pack it in fiesty" Josh exclaimed as Scott demanded Josh to take the woman to go & get looked "I'm telling you, I am fine" " yeah right.. the massive cut to the back of your head & the growing egg on the middle of your forehead tells a different story Slugger " Gail exclaimed. Whilst looking at the people around her, Gemini dramatically signed then declared (a part of her not actually sure if she believed it or not) "all I wanna do right now is go and see my husband before his match & hug my kids , then I wanna shower and relax.. I dont need fusing over"and then she walked away "as much as I adore that woman. im telling you, she is her own worst enemy" Scott declared " Yeah... but we wouldn't have her any other way "Josh grinned"so any ideas on how we can get her to go & get looked at?" When Gemini got to her door of their locker room, she jumped about 10 foot in the air as her husband opened the door suddenly "jeez..." Gemini breathlessly exclaimed "now the hell do you do that?" she then asked "you know as well as I do that I have my sources..." Patrick exclaimed, phone in his hand and a smirk on his face " bloody Josh" the woman muttered"calm it furey" he warned. Unaware that the cut on her head was bleeding once again Patrick exclaimed, passing her a fresh towel "well well well.. looks like someone is in needs of a towel ... or 3... and a doctor! " "ha ha.. Ow my head"Gemini moaned out loud "still wanna say that you're okay? "he sarcastically joked "you shush" the woman moaned out" your sarcasm isn't needed . As Patrick heard the pain in his wife's voice , he went into full on protective mode at the pain in his & exclaimed as he looked at her forehead and checked her over " jeez peanut, you've had your fair share of eggs and bumps , but that on is a doozy, what do you reckon we should we name this one? ... I say we call it Eggbert... " "you know what patch, funnily enough, that isn't the worst name that you have ever picked out..." " why thank you kindly " he smirked. When they walked in to the dressing room , both girls ran over to their mom & as they saw their mom, both girls instantly froze in shock, after calming them down with the help of Joe, Giselle & Shantelle, Gemini calmly exclaimed as she hugged them . "hey, Momma's okay... I promise you... I am just a bit sore and have a few owies " " Mommy's gonna go and get seen by a doctor & then she'll be back here looking back to normal" Patrick exclaimed" as normal as mummy can be" Joe joked" HEY! I will set them on you Hendry! "the woman warned. However, f.e fore she could argue, Patrick exclaimed Oh trust me, you will go and get checked out ... if you don't, I will phone Fulton and get him to come in here and carry you down there! you forget Gemstone.. I can be just as stubborn as you"" and that is a knockout win... ow! the hell " Joe moaned, rubbing his head after the woman chucked her shoe at him. A little while later, Gemini, complete with concussion, had been checked over & stapled up and now she was (with the help of Giselle,Chloe, Joe & Shantelle keeping the girls entertained) helping Patrick prepare for his huge match. After eventually managing to wrestle the man to sit down in front of her so that she could help to fix his hair, she smiled as her husband exclaimed in a way that reminded her of both of her girls "I forgot how strong you are.. I'm sure You could arm wrestle most of the guys ... " "are you calling me masculine??... besides, I pretty much wrestled both of the twins single handed µ when you were doing Clinics.. without any coffee in me. If I could do that.. then you mister are a piece of cake" his wife grinned. Whilst watching the concentration on her face as she fixed his hair, he whispered, concerned about his wife "hey monkey... are you sure that you're okay?.. you're very quiet " "im fine baby, I promise you .. I am just really sore... with your match coming up, I don't want you to stress out about me, I will be fine" Gemini lied, her head and heart feeling bad about lying to her husband but at the same time, she didn't want to stress her husband out before his match. However, not buying what his wife was saying, Patrick turned to face his wife as soon as she finished his hair, he stood up and gently moved the hair from her face that was covering her eyes, as needed, she moaned "ow" "im Sorry baby, your hair was in your face... I thought that I should move it so that I can see you better... hey... hey... why are you crying?" "im fine.. please Patch, please just... let it go.-just for now ". After kissing her forehead gently, he expressed wiping her tears "ok... I'll let it go.. for now Gem! .. but once everything is out of the way & the match is done ... we are taking...and I mean we are talking properly.. no distractions " "I love you Patchy" "I love you more Gemstone" Patrick winked , kissing her softly. . When the husband and wife walked out of the bathroom, Gem smiled as she saw Josh waiting for them, both of his goddaughters in either arm " "'what is going on...why do the two of you..." small ears... don't finish that sentence" Patrick warned "I was going to say look happy " "yeah right" Gemini exclaimed.
When The Martin family walked from their dressing room to the production area, Gemini could tell, no matter how hard he tried to hide it that he was nervous & he was trying to hide his nerves from all 3 of his girls. and knowing he needed reassurance, he squeezed his hand , an action that told the man everything he needed, looking at the woman he mouthed"I love you" "I love you too" . As they walked into the production area, they all stopped in their tracks as both Pixie & Posey froze, smiled and exclaimed as they saw Steve & Deonna talking (or as they called them their 'Auntie Didi & Uncle Stevie)" Auntie Didi, Uncle Stevie" both girls cheered, carefully running towards the husband and wife "Munchkins "the pair replied, picking the duo up" have you been good for mama and dad ? "Steve asked "always" Pixie grinned" yeah.. course, I mean you only tried to kill Josh & Trey what.. 4 times tonight "Patrick laughed stretching " just the way you taught me too Uncle Stevie " "that's my fairy" Steve winked, giving her a high five "how about you flower girl?" her ' Di-Di ' asked Posey "yes Di-Di, I've been good". After watching the girls interact with the pair, Gemini exclaimed, trying to hide how ill she was truly feeling "yo! punk girls... come here, let uncle Stevie prepare" "yes mama" both girls exclaimed sweetly whilst Deonna looked at Gemini's face, concerned at just how not like herself she was looking. As the man their dad was fighting walked to the ring, Patrick, his mind fully on his match , leant down to his daughters heights & smiled "give me some lucky hugs peanuts "and after he got his kisses & cuddles from his children, he gave them back to them. After he stood back up straight, he looked at his wife who exclaimed "you have this Pat... it's your time to be 'the guy' .. I love you" "I love you more" Patrick smiled "now kiss me again, one more for luck"he smirked. As Patrick made his way out to the ring , Deonna exclaimed to her best friend " you looked amazing tonight Gem.. that gear was insane" "thanks D, think it was one of the best concepts I have come up with in a while "Gemini replied, rubbing her temples, trying to relieve her dizziness and migraine " you 're really struggling with this concussion aren't you" her best friend commented, knowing her just as well as Patrick did "I just... I feel sick, like really, really sick"the woman admitted quietly, trying not to concern the kids who were hugging their Uncle Scott . As the women looked at each other, Deonna looked at her goddaughters & exclaimed, knowing now that not only did she need to not only keep an eye on her bestie, but also give her an extra hand with the pair of trouble makers she adored "hey... do you two wanna come with your Auntie Di di and maybe we could go & find some snacks to watch dad's match with?" As the match's end started to come into sight, it was pretty much safe to say that Gemini needed their bed... she was feeling rough & was ready for sleep and however much they were trying to hide it so were their daughters "are we going back to the hotel soon momma?" Posey asked her with a yawn " yeah babe really soon , are you tired blossom ?" the woman asked her daughter who nodded "as soon as dad's match is over, we will go back to the hotel " . When Patrick tried to hit the first shell shock & Steve reversed it, Gemini instantly felt sick , of course she knew what the result was going to be, she had done for weeks but it wasn't making watching it any better. As she saw and felt Maclin's elbow hit her husband's jaw, she inhaled as Tricia exclaimed "jeez" joining the group a few minutes prior, taking Pixie on to her lap "that sounded bad "Gemini whispered concerned "he will be fine Gem" Tricia whispered"I really hope so "Gemini' replied. As Patrick set Maclin up for the second shell shock & ultimatley delivering it , the women watched as the two little girls cheer as the ref counted to three" daddy did it... daddy won " Pixie cheered "hey trouble, indoor voice remember " her Auntie Di-Di expressed, knowing that Gemini didn't mind "sorry Auntie Di-Di" , watching Josh walk towards them he asked "are you 1000% sure?" "positive"the woman smirked "you're dealing with the aftermath "Josh declared "you got it dude"" we are banning you watching Full House!" he sighed. After Josh went out to join the man in the ring, Gemini gave her daughters a quick talking to, making sure that they had full understanding of how to behave " ... and no messing around out there... you got it girls ?... Pixie Meadow " " peachy Momma" Pixie grinned a smile identical to her fathers. When Josh got in the ring, he hugged Patrick and exclaimed" there's one more surprise for you"and as he pointed to the ramp. Patrick felt the tears appear in his eyes as he watched his girls... his family with grins on their faces " it's all her idea dude, I had absoultley nothing to do with it. Gail approved it". When Gemini helped the girls on to the ring and Josh helped them through the ropes, she smiled as the girls ran over to their dad and godfather and wrapped their little arms around them, the sound of the crowd nothing to them, when she walked over to the men, Gemini & Patrick looked at each other with smiles and tears in their eyes and as they did, Josh grabbed the girls & covered their eyes and Patrick pulled her close and she kissed him, making the crowd cheer "Im so proud of you Patch" Gemini whispered, putting their noses together" you did it.. you looked amazing tonight". Whilst they hugged, Patrick, knowing that they needed to go backstage, but at the same time knowing that once they did, it would be insane, exclaimed quietly as "thank you for everything Gemini ... I wouldn't have got here without you or the girls ""yes you would've and beside I''m your wife, it's my job to be there for you ...now Kiss me again" "with pleasure" the man winked as the crowd cheered and laughed as Josh, Posey & Pixie faked being grossed out.
In the families hotel room a little while later, an exhausted and in pain Gemini was in their hotel bathroom , tidying up after the twins and their showers, but also after hers & Patrick's, when she did her nightly routine, Gemini checked over her beaten up body for any new forming bruises post match. When she walked back into their hotel bedroom sore and stiff, she froze as she looked at the image in front of her with tears in her eyes, there was her husband, sore... aching ... completley exhausted being the best father in the world to his two sleeping girls all whilst trying to unwind himself. After watching them for a few more seconds in complete silence , the woman whispered loudly"well, I wasn't expecting to see this when I came out.. babe, you do know that they have a bedroom right next door we paid extra for right ?". Eventually after much persuading from Gem•, ni that they needed to put the girls into their own beds so they could rest , Patrick climbed in and instantly wrapped an arm around the woman he adored and pulled her into him gently. letting her snuggle into his embrace, just like he did every night "right, they are peaceful and tucked up , I have my alarm on vibrate to check on you every 90 minutes to 2 hours all throughout the night, I think that we are finally good to try and sleep "Patrick smiled, playing with her hair gently "I've had worse..."
