(when they were talking, what happened up there!)
Maira came in dhruv room, He was standing there, as he heard her footsteps he smiled and turned towards her.
"So what did you wanted to talk about? " She asked.
He sighed softly and glanced at her.
"I decided to take a decision " he said.
Maira came towards the bed, and sat on it.
"What decision? " She asked again.
She was getting worried how his voice is low.
"This decision can change many things" Dhruv said stepping towards his table.
"How? And what you decided that could change." Maira said now confused of his words.
"I went to check on dad" Dhruv said.
"Really you went to met him after he-"
She was cut off by Dhruv.
"He is my dad Maira, Even if he did this things, but I can't deny the fact, that he is my dad. I have little sympathy for him." Dhruv said.
Maira sighed softly and asked.
"So what did happen there? "
"he said he wanted to change, and I advice him to change himself too" Dhruv said.
"He will change! I don't believe it " Maira said scoffing.
"That is the reason I decided for Mom" Dhruv said.
Maira sole attention was on him.
"What?"
"I am....going to end Avyaan Uncle with Dhrisha" Dhruv said clenching his fists.
"That is so good! Avyaan bro and my best friend dhrisha, she will live a happy life with him! I know he cares about her so much, I have saw this past few days as he came to visit her and always warned me to not bad mouth him. OMG!! They will be a cute couple.." She ranted, squealing,
Dhruv was just watching her, How she was happy, but she didn't knew one thing!
He had a sad smile on his face.
"OMG! That means I can hide Avyaan bro shoes as Dhrisha side and take money from Avyaan side as his sister!!
But how I will do that? Nevermind.. ...but I knew one thing He will really treat Dhrisha better than Abhinay...! Right? What do you think Dhr-" She laughed at herself while saying and asked for dhruv, but stopped when she saw how dhruv face was dull.
"Dhruv, what happened, why are you sad? " Maira asked lightly smiling.
"Dhrisha will marry Avyaan, She will have a good future with him. " Dhruv said shaking his head.
"That is good thing right! She will have a future withh-" She stopped as she realized, she looked at him now.
"That means the future will change too? " Maira asked, denying the truth.
He nodded.
"That... means you will... disappear.....too" She said gulping.
He closed his eyes and nodded.
"No.. this can't be true, right! " She said in denial.
"Maira, this is the law of nature, if something is changed in time, then it won't exist anymore, It has to disappear." He explained.
"so don't change the time! Let it be like it is!" Maira said.
"Maira if I gave a chance to Abhinay, but he decides to not change himself then the past will repeat again, My mission will be failed. " Dhruv said.
"Even if it costs your life" Maira said clenching her fists.
"I can't think about myself " Dhruv said.
"We can think something else right? " Maira said.
"I don't think there is a option regarding it" Dhruv said.
"You can't do it dhruv" Maira said shaking her head.
"Maira think about dhrisha she will be happy!" he said cupping her cheeks.
"But what about me and you? " she asked.
"How w..will I live?" She said shuttering.
Dhruv left her cheek and scrunched his eyebrows in questioning.
"How will I live without you!?" She whisper shouted.
"I don't understand, what do you mean?" Dhruv said.
"You never understood it.....Have you thought about me! What will happen to me if you are gone? " She said as a tear escaped from here eyes.
"Maira no need to think about me this much, I am not like something important " Dhruv said sadly smiling.
"I tell the same....everytime to my heart but it doesn't listen to me...." She said.
"Why do care more about me than dhrisha? You always chose her than me then why not know!!" Dhruv said getting dissapointed as he thought she will choose His mom.
She looked at him in disbelief, why?
He was asking why? She was frustrated.
She pushed him a little and grabbed his collar.
" Because I love you damn it! " She confessed in anger.
She closed her eyes and leaned her forehead on his chest. He was froze on his place. She left his collar.
It took him to time to process what she said in his brain.
She him... What!
"I love you idiot, I can't think about leaving without you now. " She muttered as tears fell from her eyes. She clutched his shirt in her fists.
He was speechless at her confession.
As she was in his embrace now.
"Maira What..whatever you said is it.." His sentence was completed by Maira.
"Yes, it's all your fault, you made me fall for you....you made me... fall for you" Maira said sniffing by now.
He gently pushed her by holding her forearm. He gulped.
"Maira I can't be yours.....not in this life " Dhruv said.
"Why? " She asked.
She knows too but it hurts damn it!
"Our story cannot be completed...try to understand. I can never be yours." Dhruv said.
"There must be a way right... That both can be done" She said.
"It's not that." Dhruv said turning around.
"Then what is the reason? " She asked.
"I just can't tell you....but remember it I liked you too but as a best friend. " Dhruv said closing his eyes.
He needs to break her heart, Or she won't forget him so easily!
Maira was now in anger. She made him turn towards him and shook him.
"Then why did you came this close! Huh? Why did you cared for me like that! Why did you gave me hope! when you wanted to go from my life!" She said frustrated by his answer.
Dhruv pushed her gently.
"Because you made me remember her, you were just like her" He said trying to be rude.
But he knows it pains him too.
She dryly chuckled at what he said.
"So till now, you saw me as her.all the time when you cared about me....when you came this close to me......You know what? you are just like your dad...you both share same blood, you both are cheaters!! just the difference is he broke her by cheating her... You broke me by giving me false hopes! " She said with hate.
She was hurt inside! Her anger was speaking this.
Dhruv was hurt... Every word hurted him..but he didn't showed it, he just clenched his fist.
"I never expected to you to be like him" She said shaking her head.
"I will never forgive you Dhruv Mehra" She said and stepped back to go.
"Maira listen....Please don't compare me to my dad, I am not like him" He said.
"No...I don't want to listen anything now! And why won't you be like him.. You are obviously his son. " She said as tear escaped from her eye.
He closed his eyes and then blinked, to stop himself, to take her in his embrace and stroke her hair.
She walked towards the door to go but Dhruv caught her wrist.
She turned her head at him.
"Leave my hands dhruv... Let me go.. You said we can never be together. " She said closing her eyes.
If he didn't stop it then it won't take Maira long to broke in his arms.
"Maira! Please don't go" He said in low voice.
Her eyes soften seeing him, but she had to go, to distract herself.
Dhruv came in front of the door, blocking her way.
"Maira please... Listen to me... I didn't wanted to hurt you....it just won't be easy for you.." He said trying to explain.
"I don't want to listen anything dhruv," she said taking steps back.
"I really didn't meant to hurt you... You know our story would never be complete even if you tried. " He said.
"Remember one thing dhruv whatever might be your reasons...but I loved you by my whole heart... You were my crush but I don't know how it soon became my love" She confessed again.
"It was stupid of me.. I fell for you...its not your fault." She said, her eyes again teary.
She was stepping back, when her leg hit the bed.
"Maira! " Dhruv shouted.
He tried to hold her but he lost his balance and fall with her on her bed.
She was down and he was on top of her. They both were staring at each
...direct in their eyes.
One with hurt and pain and other with regret, hurt and pain.
Maira closed her eyes and gulped, while dhruv slowly removed the hair which came on her face, she shuddered, she glanced at him again.
"Maira! " A voice called, and a hard gasp.
This made them snapped out of their trance.
