Taylor had always wanted to have her own family. That being said, whether it was her cats or an actual human family.
When she started dating Joe, she felt like he was the one. The one who she wanted to spend the rest of her days with. They were just about to be in their 3rd year of dating, when Taylor found out the good news. She was pregnant.
Although her and Joe had been talking about having a family she was nervous telling him.
"Hey babe?" Taylor spoke to Joe with her voice clearly shaking a bit. Joe turned to look at his girlfriend and said, "What's up?" It was the least to say the blonde pop star was scared.
"I need to tell you something. Just promise me you won't get mad." Taylor told the British actor. She was afraid that he would break up with her and she would be all alone. Joe was concerned for his girlfriend, why would she be scared?
"Okay, umm, Joe I'm pregnant. Please don't hate me. Im so sorry." Followed by "What do you mean don't hate me. Why would i ever hate you Tay, this is wonderful!" from Joe.
"I thought you would leave me."
"No I could never, we have a family now love. Im so happy we get to have our own little family."
Taylor smiled at her boyfriend and he gave her a sweet kiss. They had to think of names along with middle names, but they had enough time.
Time Skip because why not!
It was getting closer to Taylor's due date and they had decided to leave the gender unknown, but Taylor was sure it was a girl. Joe didn't mind what gender their baby was, he just wanted it to be healthy. As for Taylor's parents they were overjoyed when they got told they would have a grandchild.
It was now early December, to be exact the 2nd. Andrea had decided she would stay at home with her daughter and Joe until the due date. Taylor wanted to have her mom near, since this was her first child.
All Taylor could do now was mostly just stay in bed. She wanted to get up and go walk around at least, but really couldn't. On the night of that very day she felt her water break.
"Mom! Joe! I think it's time." Taylor shouted from the living room.
Joe ran to Taylor and helped her get up from the couch to the car. While Andrea went upstairs to the baby's designated room for the hospital bag. They then drove to the hospital and checked Taylor in.
Hours passed and Taylor was having the worst contractions. The doctors had to give her medications to help with the serious pain she was feeling.
"I cant do this" the blonde told them.
"Tay hun, you got this you're going to get through it." Andrea told her oldest.
"Your mom's right babe, after this we are going to have a beautiful son or daughter with us."
The whole night the doctors checked on Taylor to see how dilated she was. Until the next day at around 12pm she was ready to give birth.
At around 1:13pm or 13:13, their daughter was born. Taylor cried tears of happiness, and so did Joe. Andrea was crying harder than both of them, she finally had a granddaughter. They anticipated her arrival for months and she was finally here, completely healthy.
"So, Y/n?", Joe asked his girlfriend.
"Y/n Ivy Swift-Alwyn." Taylor said while smiling.
Soon after, Scott and Austin arrived. They got to see the new addition to the family. A beautiful baby girl by the name of Y/n. Joe sent his mom and dad pictures of Y/n because they couldn't make it in time. Since they do live an ocean away.
A few days later Taylor and Joe could finally take their daughter home. They were going to make sure she had a happy life with them and the cats. When they entered the cats immediately ran up to them.
Olivia and Benjamin being first and Meredith far behind. Hopefully they loved the newborn as much as her parents already did.
"Hey guys, this is Y/n. I hope you get to love her as much as we do. When she's older she can play with you, but for now we have to take care of her."
Benjamin sniffed the newborn's car seat and purred. Olivia followed her brother's lead and sniffed the baby's car seat. She then started purring around her owner's legs. Meredith was a little more lenient, but soon she purred slightly.
"I'm sure you'll love her guys. Thanks for giving her a welcome home." Taylor told her cats. They then brought the newborn to her room. It was a pained white since they didn't know the gender. The room was decorated beautifully, and now they could add more stuff for their daughter.
Joe and Taylor were so happy to finally spend time with their daughter. After so long of waiting, she was finally here. The blonde pop star placed her in her crib. The little girl was sound asleep, and they were very grateful she was.
"Let's hope she gives us time to sleep.", Joe told Taylor.
"Probably not." Taylor responded.
She then kissed her daughter's head, while Joe stroked her small cheek. They then left the door and left the door slightly open, if she were to wake up.
The hours flied by, and Taylor along with Joe had a peaceful evening. Their newborn daughter hadn't given them a hard time. All until in the middle of the night she cried, waking up her mom and dad. Taylor woke up and rushed to her daughter's room. Picking her up and swaying around with her.
"What's wrong baby, hm? Do you need a change?" she asked her daughter to even though she knew she wouldn't get a reply. Taylor then checked her daughter if she was in need for a change, but she wasn't. She then figured she was hungry. After Taylor fed her daughter, the cries stopped a bit, but not for long.
The room was filled with Y/n's cries again. Taylor was stressed, she didn't know what to do. "Y/n/n, sweetheart, you need to please stop crying." she said to the baby in her arms. Maybe she just couldn't sleep anymore, she was probably just tired.
Taylor then sat with her daughter in the rocking chair that was in the corner. She then held her daughter close to her chest. The blonde then decided to sing to her daughter one of her own songs. Never Grow Up.
"Oh darling, don't you ever grow up. Don't you ever grow up, just stay this little. Oh darling, don't you ever grow up. Don't you ever grow up it could stay this simple. I won't let nobody hurt you."
While she sung to her daughter she heard she cries slowly stopping. Until she was met with a small smile, a gorgeous little smile. One that she loved.
"Hi baby." Taylor said to Y/n. In response the newborn started giggling in her mother's arms. "Let's get you to bed now, tomorrow auntie Sel will come over to meet you. Isn't that exciting?"
Taylor placed her daughter in her crib once again and tucked her in with a small lilac blanket. It had been custom made for the newborn. At the corner her initials were embroidered in white.
She then waited until her daughter fell asleep to stroke her cheek. "All I can say is I was enchanted to meet you." The blonde quietly sung to her daughter, it was the truth. Taylor had never been more excited than she was when she met her.
Everyday now is a mystery, they don't know what will happen. Now that they have a child, many things could change in the blink of an eye.
Taylor kissed her daughter's head and exited the room. Making sure to turn off the light. She then made her way back to her and Joe's room, and fell into a deep slumber.
Her life had taken a big turn, but maybe it was for the better. She felt happier than ever before.

omg yall im so sorry for not updating for almost a whole month. im home sick with the flu this whole week, so that means no school. even though this week i have midterms for 2 classes.
i'll try my best to update this whole week. i cant promise i will but i'll try.
