Mahi's POV
I reached my office and was surprised to see that someone had sent me 2 cards, a very cute unicorn stuffed toy, and a super soft cushion.
Though I had an idea, of who must have sent them, I was intrigued to see those cards. I opened them and was surprised to see such romantic and heartfelt quotes. My heartbeat gained the tempo but I scolded myself for that.
There was no name of the sender, but there was just no need for that. I kept them in the drawer of my table in my cabin.
Why the hell was he sending these things to me??
Thank God, Mom had not come with me or she would have asked me about them. I needed to talk to Ron and tell him firmly to stop all that nonsense as I was not interested in him anymore.
I calmed myself for a few moments and thought about how to tackle him and put this message across that I hate him and he should stay away from me or I would have to involve our parents.
Taking my things to start my work there, I went to their showroom. I didn't see Aunty or him so I thought of going to Aunty's cabin, as she must be there.
But before I could go on, he came out engrossed in his phone and bumped into me. Though he tried to gain balance and prevent us from falling, we both fell, with me on top of him.
I yelled at him but we got into an argument as usual. I hit him on his chest to make him leave me as he was holding my waist.
He didn't seem to be bothered by that, in fact, he even dared to remind me that I wanted him more than any other man. I got annoyed and pushed and hit him more on his chest and shoulder. He smiled and gave such expressions as if I was caressing him seductively.
Idiot!!
I told him again to leave me so that I could get up. But he wanted me to spend an hour with him as according to him, we needed to talk about many things. But I told him that I didn't even want to see his face.
What was there to talk about now?
"Aw, tough luck, sweetheart, I will make sure that you will have to see this face every day, first thing in the morning and the last one at night, till I die. You are mine, and going to have me in your life, your room, in your bed and arms for the rest of our lives," he said very seriously looking into my eyes.
My heart stopped at what he said. There was a time when I would have died out of happiness if he had said all this before, but I will not allow myself to fall for his charm now.
I confronted him about the cards and the gifts he sent me and told him again not to send me anything as I didn't care for his feelings and he threatened me to throw them away if I wanted but then he would send more and more gifts every hour.
Why was he doing this to me now?? When I wanted me he never bothered about me and now he was hell-bent to make me believe that he loved me.
I tried hitting him but he grinned, I thought of threatening in the name of my dad. But I was shocked that he started laughing.
Had he gone crazy?? He was not scared of my dad too. And he said something about kissing me in front of him and a few other things but I didn't understand what it meant.
And the very next moment, he claimed my lips, I was shocked. He flipped and in a few seconds, he was over me kissing me, he bit my lips most lightly and my lips started trembling with a mere touch of his lips. I tried to break the contact of our lips but I was totally under his control. His lips were playing with mine and his arms tightened around me.
Shit!! I could feel my body pressed hard against his and all of a sudden that night in the Surat came alive when I was melting under his every touch.
" Tell me, that you don't feel anything for me, tell me that your heartbeat didn't increase, tell me you hated this kiss between us... " He said and recalled how he rejected me over and over.
" Yes, I don't feel anything for you, My heartbeat increased as I was angry as I hated this. Now get off me or I will call Rahul uncle or Priya aunty. " I said thinking that he might feel embarrassed that I may tell his parents about all this and leave me, but he said it would be very nice if they would get us married.
I felt like crying when he said that... How could he say that now, I loved him with everything in me and he didn't want me at that time, now I had no desire to get married to him and when he talked about getting married, I wanted to hit him very hard. My eyes were filled with tears and I said that he couldn't force himself on one. Hearing that he got away immediately.
" I didn't force myself on you. I just wanted you to recall how much you loved me. Did I kiss you forcefully? " he said tenderly.
But I was feeling very hurt as I still remembered everything. How he used to ignore, avoid, hurt, and reject me. But I was not naive and stupid like that Mahi anymore.
I told him that the girl was dead and I was a new version and didn't want any relationship with him.
He kept asking me why I was behaving as if he was no one to me. He assured me that he loved me. But I said. There can only be a professional relationship between us as his mom had hired me to redesign and decorate their showroom, cabins, and house.
Finally, he had mercy on me and was going to his cabin telling me not to hesitate if I needed his help.
Just then a girl came to meet Aunty but since Aunty was not at the office, I suggested he help the girl. He nodded and started explaining things to her.
But I don't know why I was getting very annoyed with her as she started flirting with him, in front of me and asked, "Are you going to write that in your report as well?? " I asked and glared at her.
"Oh, no, that is for my personal information. Even I am not in any relationship, so why don't we go out on a date ..." the girl was saying.
Personal information?? I wanted to give her all the personal information about my shoe size.
She even asked him to come on a date?? How dare she??
I wanted to slap her so hard that she would end up reaching hell. Can have that date with some devil there.
But not this one at any cost...
" Ranveer, I need your help, here. " I said all of a sudden before I could stop myself.
Shit! Shit! Shit!! How could I do that???
He smirked as if he understood why I asked for his help.
" Wait, Ms. Shah, As per your request, I am helping this beautiful lady here. By the way, what is your beautiful name, Ms.?" He said to me and turned back to the girl.
Ughhhh!! This man is so irritating.
" Kavya. " She said flashing a dazzling smile at him.
Close your mouth, you stupid girl... or I will thwow something at you.
" What a beautiful name, you look like a poem itself. " Ron said giving her one of his killer smiles.
Idiot!!! Keep looking at that poem for the rest of your life...
" Awww... And you are as bold and strong as your name. Why don't we meet for a coffee or something? " she asked going very close to him and batting her eyes at him.
I glared at them. He smirked at me and turned to her.
" Well, I don't... " He was about to deny but she didn't let him finish.
" Oh, come on, I am sure, we will enjoy each other's company. What is the problem? " She asked.
Yes, what is the problem, go with her. And then don't ever show me your face. I hate you, Ron.
" I will have to ask my girl, to seek her permission, if she doesn't mind, I will come. " Ron said and I was surprised to hear that.
" You have a girlfriend?? " The girl asked.
" Well, it is complicated, I have been in love with her for years," he said.
Liar!!
" Why would she allow you to go out with another girl? " The girl asked.
" You never know, she just suggested I help you, and I agreed. Why don't you ask her yourself, she is right here, my girl, and my would-be wife. " He said looking at me.
Idiot!! What does he want to achieve by saying such things??
I turned my back to him.
" She is your... " she asked.
" Yes, she is mine, " he said.
No, I am not.
But, somehow, the burning in my heart had gone down.

I am back because I missed all of you. Though I am still in pain and on my 1&1/2 month bed rest, I could not stay away. I am alseep half of the day due to heavy medicines. But will try to update as frequently as possible. If not every, atleast 5 in a month.
