*THE OTHER POV*
The afternoon before the Quidditch World Cup at the burrow, Bill and Charlie had picked up with their wands the large tables to put them in the garden, so the whole family would be able to eat their dinner outside in the warm weather of the summer. Mrs Weasley who was inside the house and most specifically in the kitchen cooking was looking out of the window looking for when the young Malfoy girl would arrive. Percy had told her everything that happened one day because of how upset he was, and she started worrying herself. She really liked the young girl because she knew that she made her son happy, and she believed that what her family wanted her to do was unfair. She liked the girl so much that she was considered her own daughter, and she wished that she was able to save her from her "evil" family and protect her under her big mom wings, but she also knew that she couldn't
The two tables were crushing into each other constantly making lots of noise. Little Ginny had died from laughter, while Hermione on the other hand was thinking if this was a situation to laugh or judge. She didn't know what to do, so she chose to not say anything about it
Bill's table was able to break the foot of Charlie's, making the viewers of the scene laugh even harder. Then a loud noise was heard from above them, and everyone looked that way. Percy's head appeared, and he looked pretty angry with all of them. He had to do some work for his boss, which made him turn into his perfectionist self and was angry to be interrupted, but he also couldn't concentrate on what he was doing because his thoughts always ended up travelling to Y/n. Checking the clock every second turned out to be his habit for the past hour because he wanted to have a proper talk with her before she left for France. He wanted to know what she would do, how she would do it and if it would be safe for her but the fact that she was almost an hour late which isn't usual for her British self (or your nationality) made him even upset
Percy: Will you please raise your voice down?
He asked trying to control his nerves and Bill gave him a smile
Bill: Sorry Percy! How is the bottom of the pot? Does it go up?
He asked, trying to hide the sarcasm in his voice, and his brother nodded
Percy: Yeah but slowly
He said with a serious tone ready to close his bedroom window until another noise was heard from the front of the house. Everyone's head turned that way, and Ginny let out an exciting gasp
Ginny: Y/n is here
She yelled, running towards the older girl, Percy's eyes widened before he let out a sigh of relief knowing that his Y/n was safe
Percy: Y/n
He said mostly to himself but loud enough to hear before he ran down the stairs leaving the window behind him open
Ron: This is the first time I have seen him run
He said looking at his brother surprised from the window and Harry next to him nodded. On the other hand, Y/n had in her embrace both Hermione and Ginny who seemed mad that she didn't answer a single one of their letters but also relieved knowing that she was okay.
Hermione: You made me so worried when you didn't answer my fifth letter
She said, and Y/n gave her an apologetic smile, ensuring her that she had no idea where the letters went, Hermione started thinking to herself trying to find a reasonable explanation for the matter. I mean, it's not usual for letters to just disappear like that
Y/n noticed the ginger most willing to see, and before she knew it she left the two girls arms and ran to his hug. The moment her arms were wrapped around the boy she knew she loved the most, she didn't care about anything else around her. His comforting embrace was the only thing that gave her hope at that moment, and the familiar smell of cinnamon and coffee was what made her feel at home
He was her home
Percy had buried his face in her hair, feeling relieved that he had her in his arms, ignoring that they would be forced to be separated again and not see each other for a year. He just wanted to enjoy his last moments with her before their forced goodbyes. Oh, how he wished to go with her to France and try to find a way to remove the tracker from her feet, so they would just run away together. But he knew that wasn't possible because Y/n could definitely be watched during her time there, and he didn't want to put her life in danger. So in the meantime, he decided to stay in England and wait for her as long as it takes
Y/n: I don't have much time
She whispered to him while her face was still buried in the crook of his neck, and he nodded, blinking back the tears of relief he had in his eyes. Someone cleared their throat from behind them and they both pulled away before coming face to face with the oldest Weasley brothers.
Bill: So the only time you come out of your room is to greet your girlfriend? Now I feel offended
He said, putting a hand on his heart, and making a sad face before introducing himself to the girl
Bill: No offence by the way Y/n
He said and Y/n gave him a fake smile reassuring him that she liked his comment before she turned to the second-oldest Weasley who remembered meeting him in diagon alley almost a year ago.
Charlie: It's nice to see you again, Y/n! I can't believe you could handle this git for so long
He said and Y/n let out a small laugh before Percy gave them both a glare and then turned to his girlfriend with a smile
Percy: Now that you have all met, you will have to excuse us because I need Y/n's opinion on the pots!
He said, dragging Y/n by her hand toward his room
Bill: I will send you a condolence card, poor girl
He said, walking away laughing with his brother and Y/n gave them another fake smile before entering the house
The moment they entered his room, Y/n didn't waste a second before hugging him again because she knew how much she would miss the feeling of being in his warm, comforting arms
Percy: I missed you so much, Ottie
He said, with his face buried again in her hair and his hand on her back, rubbing it slowly. Y/n's eyes filled with tears and Percy pulled away when he heard her small quiet sob
Percy: Oh Ottie
He said, cupping her face while wiping away the tears that were rolling down her cheeks.
Percy: Everything will be alright, I promise
He said looking at her teary eyes before he kissed her forehead and then looked at her crying expression again
Y/n: I feel like everything is falling apart, and my life just keeps getting worse day by day. I can't prevent myself from starting to lose hope and-
She said with her voice cracking in her every word, and Percy's heart broke looking at her in this condition. He secretly wished that he would be able to take all the pain she was feeling away, but he knew that there was not a single spell or a potion that could do that
Percy: No, no, no, you can't start losing hope from now. You have to believe in yourself and stay strong not only for yourself but also for me
He said while trying to seem strong too, but deep down he wasn't. The thought of losing her or the thought of her marrying someone made him want to destroy every single thing he saw in front of him, but right now she needed him so everything else could wait
He couldn't control himself anymore and kissed her softly on the lips before Y/n returned the kiss the moment his lips touched hers. Neither of them wanted to pull away because they felt if they did then they would lose each other forever, but they had after a few minutes because of the need for air. Their foreheads were against each other looking into each other's eyes before Percy took her hands in his and a smile formed on his face when he saw the small pink heart paper ring that he had given her last year on her birthday
Percy: Nice ring Ottie
He said with a smile, and one appeared on Y/n's face too for the first time since she arrived at the burrow. I mean, this one was at least real. He started rubbing comforting circles in her palm while looking at the stains the tears had left on her cheeks, admiring how pretty she looked even with her puffy tired eyes and messy appareting hair. For him, she was beautiful in any way possible and that would never change
Percy: I never heard your congratulations on taking your first place in NEWTS
He said with a small playful smirk trying to change the subject Y/n hit his arm slowly before pulling her forehead away from his
Y/n: Shut it Weasley
She said with a small laugh, which he returned while not taking his eyes off her and watching her cross her arms
Percy: Yeah yeah don't forget that you still love me Malfoy
He said with a proud smile on his face, which Y/n returned when the words left his mouth. She did! She truly did love him in every way that a person can be loved
Y/n: Yeah I do
She said before rubbing his cheek slowly while looking at him and watching him blush at the touch of her. After almost two years of dating, he still could get the silly butterflies in his stomach or the blush on his cheeks, which Y/n loved. She loved seeing his cheeks becoming as red as his hair was
Y/n: Let me see those pots
