Friday afternoon I was on my broom for the game Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff and Diggory gave me a smile before he gave me his hand to shake. It was freezing if you consider the fact that it was snowing all over the place, but I was determined to win the match no matter what. Nothing could stop me from winning the first match of the year
Lee: It looks like since Y/n Malfoy was made the captain of the Slytherin team almost five years ago, she seems determined to change her house's prejudice. I mean, we had to see more than one Slytherin girl Quidditch player for over a decade
Madam Hooch let the balls in the air and I hit the bludger to the Hufflepuff beaters who were trying to send one towards me. I looked at Lucian Bole who is the other beater and warned him when bludger almost knocked him out of his broom. I thought Hufflepuffs were supposed to be nice! I was flying around protecting my players, and we were 50 points ahead and all we needed was for my brother to catch the snitch. I looked around for any bludgers until I noticed a Hufflepuff beater was trying to hit me with his bludger and I missed it two times. I flew to the middle of the field and noticed my brother running behind the snitch, he almost touched it, but then I felt something hard hitting my shoulder, breaking it. I groaned in pain and then lost control of my broom and fell straight to the ground. Draco's eyes immediately fell on me when he heard my small scream, and Diggory caught the snitch.
Lee: Y/n Malfoy was hit by a bludger and seems... Wait Cedric Diggory caught the snitch HUFFLEPUFF WINS
He yelled in excitement and I saw Ruby flying to the ground with the other two girls to where I was. I was literally crying in pain from my broken shoulder because it hurt like crazy and when it hit the ground it made the pain much worse. All my players were now around me and Ruby kneeled down next to me
Ruby: We need Madam Pomfrey! SOMEONE, PLEASE CALL MADAM POMFREY
She yelled and Daphne nodded before ran toward the bleachers. Ruby was trying to calm me down, but if you never had a broken shoulder, I have to say that this hurts like crazy. My vision was blurred because of the pain and my tears, but I could notice more and more students joining before my teammates pushed them away.
Percy: Let me go through, let me go through
I heard a familiar voice say, and I looked at a worried Percy trying to get through the bunch of students, and when he did, he kneeled down next to me before he gently picked me up and put my head in his chest.
Percy: It is going to be alright, Ottie
He was caressing my hair slowly, not caring about the surrounding whispers and shocked students. I had a broken hand before, but this was mush worse! Because my shoulder wasn't the only thing that was hurting me. That is when Madam Pomfrey came running to us. She sat down to where I was and checked my shoulder and everywhere else in my body for wounds or if something else was broken
Pomfrey: Oh dear, we have a broken shoulder and broken ribs
She said before she yelled for everyone to stay back and then called for my teammates to hide me from public view. They made a cycle around us and Ruby was yelling at every student who tried to have a look, and she got mad at Colin Creevy who was trying to take a picture
Pomfrey: I am going to do a small spell because there is a chance that they will become worse before we even arrive at the hospital wing
She said, and I nodded trying to hold back my tears but with no luck because the pain was the worst that I have ever witnessed, and then she looked at Percy
Y/n: Please let him stay
I whispered before I let out another painful groan, and she nodded. I had tears in my eyes and ginger was trying to calm me down while saying comforting words, but the pain I was getting from three different places in my body couldn't make me calm down. She helped me remove the top part of my uniform, and I was only wearing a t-shirt while lying in the snowy ground. Percy's arms were the only thing that kept me warm at that moment, and I was so glad to have him there with me. Madam Pomfrey took out her wand and pointed at my shoulder
Pomfrey: Episkey
She whispered, and I let out a groan while the tears started running down my cheeks again. Percy was wiping the tears from my puffy eyes while Madam Pomfrey pointed her wand on my ribs, whispering the same word
I was lying on the hospital wing while around me was my entire team with the trio and Oliver while ginger was sitting at the chair next to me. Madam Pomfrey entered the room with a glass and a bottle of medicine in her hands and gave a glare to the bunch of people around me
Pomfrey:Everyone out, she needs to get rest. Mr Weasley is the only one who can stay
She said and everyone sighed in disbelief while walking out, and I gave her a grateful look before she gave me something to drink. It tasted like someone had mixed fish with an old dirty shock
Ruby:Take care of her
She said to Percy before walking out with Wood, and he nodded before he took my hand in his like I did when he was in my place last year. Madam Pomfrey walked out of the room to let me sleep, and I looked at Percy, who was trying to make himself comfortable in his chair. I smiled before making space for him to come and gestured him the empty place on my bed
Percy:Are you sure?
He asked, a little bit hesitant for a moment, and I nodded. He sighed before he lied next to me and I rested my head on his chest before he carefully wrapped his arms around me.
Y/n: You are a much comfortable bed
I said with a yawn leaving my mouth while making myself comfortable in his arms, and he let out a small laugh before he gently kissed my forehead
Percy:Well, at least your dog isn't here right now to take as apart
He said, and I giggled with my eyes closed. A smile formed on my face, remembering the last time the two of us were here
Y/n:Last time we were here we were dating for a month, and now we are about to celebrate a year together
I said with a smile not looking at him but playing with his fingers, but I knew that there was also a smile on his face
Percy: I should get an award for dealing with you for that long
He said, and I let out a small sleepy yawn before I playfully hit his chest
Y/n: Shut up you love me
I said and feeling my eyes slowly closing before I finally fall asleep in his warm and caring arms
*SMALL OTHER POV*
Y/n: Shut up you love me
She said, and a smile formed on Percy's face while looking at her. He thought to himself for a second and remembered the thoughts he had done for their lives after Hogwarts. He knew that the person he wanted to spend his rest of his life with was her. Words couldn't explain how much he wanted her to be the first thing he woke up next to in the morning and the last thing he saw before he fell asleep every night.
Percy: Have you ever thought about our lives after school? I mean we could go live together if you like, after of course you finish your studies, and after I find a job in the ministry. We could live wherever you like, I don't mind
He said, and he truly meant that because he didn't mind the place he stayed. They could even live in the woods but as long as he was next to her then he was happy
Percy didn't get an answer, and he was starting to worry that he scared her or something. He started cursing himself quietly until he heard a small snore leaving her mouth. He looked at a sleepy Y/n in his arm and a smile formed of his face. He kissed her forehead gently and admiring how peaceful she looked while travelling in her own imaginary worlds through dreams. He silently hoped her dreams were comforting and sweet before he closed his own eyes, imaging how he would like their future lives together
Poor man didn't know that nothing was going to go as he planned
