I was slammed against the cold wall of the Prefect's bathroom while my lips were moving passionately against Percy's after days. Ruby and Oliver's break-up was known to the school by the next morning that happened. Percy and I were forced to follow our friends, which meant that we had little time together except for the classes we shared and the times we met together to study. Ruby refused to hear Oliver's apology, and she ignored his existence all day. She forbid me to speak of his name again and I never did

My hands found their place around ginger's neck while he was busy marking my neck. I was playing with his curls with small gaps and moans leaving my mouth every time he gently bit it

Y/n: Do you think we could do something to help them?

I asked before he looked at me confused trying to understand what I meant

Y/n: Ruby and Oliver! I mean they are the reason we are together, if it wasn't for them, we would still want to kill each other. We kind of own them

I said, and he thought to himself for a second thinking what to say

Percy: Like what, lock them in the room until they make up?

He asked with a laugh leaving his mouth and I smiled proudly because what he thought was genuinely clever and was going to work

Y/n: Well, that is one of the options that we have, but I believe that there are other ways

I said, thinking to myself. I mean if they are locked in the room all alone for hours then they would talk to each other, but there must be another way

Y/n: Well, we need to come up with some ideas first

I said, continuing thinking to myself and he nodded

Percy: Yeah, but that can wait

He said, crushing his lips against mine again

February came really fast and Ruby refused to even look at Oliver. She denied every apology and explanation he tried telling her, and she pretended that he didn't exist. Oliver eventually gave up trying to talk to her, and she didn't even talk to him after the Gryffindor vs. Hufflepuff match when dozens of dementors filled the field. Harry unfortunately got attacked, and Angelina joked that Oliver was in the shower, probably trying to drown himself for losing the game. Old Ruby would run to his rescue when these kinds of words would come to her ears, but today's Ruby didn't even seem to care

She got even more upset when Valentine's Day came up, and she didn't have anyone to celebrate with. She just lay in bed all morning on that day, eating ice cream and listening to depressing music. I told her that I could cancel my plans with ginger and stay with her, but she just told me to go and don't worry about her

I walked with Percy holding hands towards Hogsmeade, telling him what Ruby had done that morning.

Percy: Yeah, Oliver was the same but without the ice cream and the music. He just refused to get out of bed

I said, and that made me even sadder when I remembered that Valentine's Day was supposed to be their one-year anniversary

Percy: Can I ask you a completely out of the subject question?

He said, breaking the silence between us and interrupting my thinking, before I turned to him with a confused look

Y/n: What?

I asked, and a smirk took place on his face

Percy: Do you and your Ruby have anything to do with a mysterious box that appeared in front of our dorm a few weeks ago?

He asked, my eyes widened when I realized what he was talking about and an innocent smile appeared on my face

Y/n: Don't know what you are talking about
