I spent the next couple days trying to get things together to help Colby.

Obviously I haven't been able to do much since he had everyone watching me and the kids like a hawk.

I've been texting Will, trying to get information which was like pulling teeth since he was afraid of going behind Colby's back again.

I couldn't say I blamed him but I had to remind him that he betrayed me by literally selling my body for sex.

He owed me.

The only information I got was that if I wanted to take this on I would have to go to Seattle. That was the only way I could get ahead in the situation.

I didn't know if I could fully trust him but it was the only option I had at this point.

"What are you doing?" Jenna asked as I stood up and made my way towards the door.

"I'm gonna try and convince Colby to take you guys outside. Your little growing bodies need fresh air." I said as Carter chuckled.

"Good luck with that." He said sarcastically as I nodded. "I'll be fine." I said then went down the hall and towards Colby's office.

"Woah, weird seeing you out and about." Sam said as I nodded. "Yeah, I'm escaping." I said causing him to laugh. "Does Colby know that you're roaming around?" He asked as I shook my head.

"Nope. I'm about to go bother him though so I would hide." I said as he nodded. "Yeah, he hasn't been in the best mood lately." Sam said as I nodded.

"That's an understatement." I said then knocked on Colby's door as Sam quickly made his way to his own office.

"It better be fucking important." Colby growled as he opened the door. "Julia, what are you doing?" He asked as I smiled and waved. "Heyyy..." I said as he narrowed his eyes.

"I know that look." He said as I walked into the room. "I need you to do me a favor." I said as he closed the door.

"What kind of favor?" He asked and crossed his arms. "Please just take the kids outside. I know you're gonna say no, but they need it really really bad." I begged. "Julia.." Colby said with a sigh.

"Please." I said quietly. "Maybe later. I was actually going to come get you in a minute here. I have a little bit of a surprise." He said as I squinted at him.

"A surprise?" I asked as he nodded. "Yeah, not a super fun one but one that may help the stress." He said as I shifted uncomfortably. "What's wrong?" Colby asked as I shook my head.

"Nothing." I said then painted a smile on my face. "You'll think about taking the kids out? Maybe to just get some ice cream or something." I said as he nodded. "I'll think about it." He said then led the way out of the room.

I could tell he was still really stressed out but he wasn't nearly as agitated as before.

I actually caught him in an okay mood today.

We made our way down the hallway until we reached a room that I didn't know if I've ever been in.

When he opened the door, I could see that it was like an infirmary but looked a little different. It looked like a labor and delivery room.

"Oh." I said quietly, taking a step back. "What's wrong?" Colby asked as I looked up at him. "Nothing." I said and shook my head.

Honestly, I was upset because I didn't want to give birth down here.

I didn't want our daughters life to start in such a violent and scary place. I wanted her to be safe though.

"Are you sure?" Colby asked as I nodded. "Yeah. Was this the surprise?" I asked as he shrugged.

"Sorta. I also wanted you to know that we found a doctor here that is going to be able to check you and the baby out." He said as I nodded, feeling my heart sink.

I didn't know how comfortable I felt with that since I have gotten used to the doctor we already had. This was far from how I expected my pregnancy to be.

It broke my heart that I couldn't just have one normal thing.

"Julia.." Colby said as I shook my head. "I'm fine, Colby. Thank you for taking this step." I said then took a step towards him and brought my hand to his cheek.

"I wish things could be different, Jules. I really wish they could." He said gently. "I know. I appreciate that you're trying." I said quietly.

"One day we'll be back to normal. We're just in a rough patch." He explained and wrapped his arms around me.

"Yeah." I said quietly as he kissed my head. "Can I just sit in your office with you for a little while?" I asked as he nodded. "I'd like that." He said then took my hand.

When we got to his office we got settled into our typical spots, Colby being behind his desk and me sitting across from him.

There was always a certain sense of nostalgia that surrounded this situation. It's how we were when we first started falling in love.

It was strange that it was comforting to just sit with him while he worked. I didn't care that it was boring as shit. I was just happy to spend time with him.

A couple hours passed before I got really bored and stood up. "What are you doing?" Colby asked as I walked over to him.

"Nothing." I said then gave him a kiss causing him to grin against my lips.

"You're too stressed." I said then put my hands on his chest, letting them trail down his body.

"Woah girl." He said with a laugh. "Let me do this." I said and pouted my lip. "Do what?" He asked with a laugh.

I giggled then got on my knees and crawled under the desk, reaching for the waistband of his pants.

"Holy shit." Colby said with a small gasp. I got his pants down to his ankles then pulled his underwear down when I heard knocking on the door.

"Ugh! Go away!" Colby growled angrily as I started working at him. "Uhh...it's kind of important." Corey said from the other side of the door. "It can wait!" Colby said as he took a handful of my hair and pulled at it.

I smiled then kept eye contact as I continued releasing some of his stress and pressure.

After about fifteen minutes, Colby was finishing and I was getting out from under the desk. "You should sit in here and work with me more often." Colby said as he stood up.

"We'll see." I said with a smile then wiped my mouth. "I guess I should go see what Corey wanted." He said as I nodded. "Then you'll take the kids to get ice cream?" I asked with puppy dog eyes.

"Possibly. Go back to the room." He said then gave me a kiss before leading the way out of the room.

I went back to the bedroom and Colby made his way to talk to Corey. I honestly felt very accomplished knowing that I was able to make Colby feel a little bit better today.

He's just been so fucking tense.

"How'd that go?" Little Sam asked as I made my way back in the room. "I think it went well." I said with a smile as I sat on the bed. "Are we gonna go outside?" Juniper asked as I shrugged.

"Not sure, but I think so." I said with a smile. "Are you gonna come with?" Juniper asked as she cuddled up to me. "No, I'm gonna take a much needed nap." I said and hugged her close.

We sat around for a little while before Colby finally came into the room.

"Ice cream?" He asked as Juniper gasped. "We get to go outside!?" She asked as Colby nodded. "Yeah, since you guys have been so patient." He said as Juniper got up and ran to him.

"Oh, I'm so excited." Carter said and turned off his video game. "Are we sure it's safe?" Jenna asked as Colby shook his head.

"No, but we need to do this to keep our sanity. It doesn't hurt to try." He said and scooped Juniper up.

"We will be back with some ice cream for you." Colby said then came over to me. "Okay. I love you." I said as he grinned and leaned in to kiss me. "I love you, too." He said then looked at the kids.

"Alright guys, let's get going." Colby said then led the way out of the room with my four siblings. I was so glad they were going to have some freedom since I knew they have been struggling.

I waited a couple minutes before I started collecting my stuff.

My heart ached, knowing I would get to say a proper goodbye to Colby or the kids. I just needed to get out of here so I could finally put all of this to rest.

Once my stuff was packed up I grabbed the vest Nate had made me from under my bed.

I quickly put it on then grabbed my bag and quickly made my way out of the room and towards Colby's office so I could grab a set of keys to one of the cars.

I was of course worried that they were going to look at the cameras but I was hoping they wouldn't know where I went.

I grabbed keys from Colby's office then left my phone on his desk with a note that said 'I'm sorry. Take care of the kids.'

I knew he would hate me after this, but all I could think about was gaining safety for us, the kids, and our daughter.

We needed to end this once and for all.

I quickly made my way to the elevator, making sure nobody would see me leaving. If someone caught me, then my entire plan would be foiled.

The emotions were running high though as I got in the car and started driving to Seattle.

I was scared.

I was scared that I would never be back here and that I would never see Colby or the kids again.

I just had to hope I wasn't making the worst mistake of my life.
