Savannah was jaw dropped in shock at what she was hearing. She took a deep breath in and out, wondering if this was a dream or not by what she was hearing. Or if she is from the words that she heard that were coming out of her mothers mouth.
"Oh...my...dog" She hesitated not believing a word from her parents. "You can't be serious.." Savannah said a little suspicious while "if this is a joke, it's not funny" She said wondering still if it was true or not.
Her parents looked at each other then at her. "Savannah of course we're serious" her mother replied. "Why would we joke about that?". Savannah felt like a sack of bricks, she nearly toppled over of what she was hearing "oh my dog! We're actually moving to California I mean, how is that possible?" She said.
"Well, your father was offered the job as a sale representative in that area. And miraculously, this could lead to a bigger promotion!" She said happy for her partner. Savannah was beyond ecstatic, moving to California wasn't your casual moving day, you know where, you stay at a funky hotel, then getting back on the road, stopping every few hours at restaurants, gas stations and rest stops.
This was California, moving to California was like a missing puzzle finally solved to her. Feeling like this was a miracle to her, savannah knew she would have the time of her life.
"Wooo hoo" Savannah squealed in excitement, "when do we leave?" She asked excited. "Well we already found a house, so as soon as we pack" Her father said.
Savannah couldn't help but wag her tail, thinking to herself.
'Oh my dog, I can't wait to see Brycen again..' She thought remembering the last time she saw him.

"Brycen do you really have to go..?" A younger savannah said to a dark blond cat who had navy blue eyes. He just looked at her sadly while nodding. "But...you can just stay here with me, instead of going to Orange County.." She said to him, hopefully convincing him. "Im so sorry savvy, but, I wish I could stay, I'm going to miss you so much.." He said softly hugging her, she couldn't help but hug him back, with a sad frown on her face.
"I don't even know how I'll live without you..." He mumbled. Savannah suddenly had a confused look on her face, she looked up at him wondering what he said.
"What?" She said confused
a look panic went across his face for a second before letting her go quickly. As he looked away quickly in embarrassment Savannah just tilted her head more confused.
"Brycen..?"
"I-uh..uhh...I said...make sure to call me until midnight!" He said trying to think of an excuse quickly. Savannah gave an suspicious look nodding. Before remembering what's going on. "Right...but we're going to talk on the phone every night.." She said trying to joke around the sad era they had. While wondering what Brycen actually said.
"For sure" He said awkwardly, hoping she hadn't hear what he said.
"...but" He said, making savannah look at him concerned. "Your probably have to come visit me,I probably won't even fit in.." He said making her gasp.
"Of course you will fit in bry, you are amazing,kind and handsome" She said casually.
He couldn't help but feel weird at what she said to him,blushing slightly under his fur.
"Uhm..thanks savvy" he coughed "but can you believe I'm going to a up tight school, while putting the day in there acting as if it's not that obvious" He scoffed, savannah raised an eyebrow at what he said.
"Orange count day..?" She said confused "but that shortens for ocd...obsessive compulsive disorder.." She then said " as if their obsessively compulsive and up tight"
He sighed. "You got that right..but still I don't think people are going to like me that much" Savannah couldn't help but roll her eyes. " like I said bry, you will fit in right away I know it" She said.
"You really think so..." He said, making her nod.
He couldn't help but smile, feeling warm inside. He was about to open his mouth again to say something until..
"Brycen time to go!" He heard his mother said, making him panic.
"...we'll I guess this is it Brycen,but your my bffl forever.." She said making him panic more.
"Sav actually I need to tell you something-"
"Brycen we have to go!" His mother said again, making him flinch.
"Brycen..?" She said wondering what he wanted to say, he tried to open his mouth again only to get interrupted by his mother.
"BRYCEN WE HAVE TO GO NOW!" She yelled.
"I-I..nevermind..." He said sadly before looking at her one last time before running of towards his mother.
"Wha- wait Brycen what was it that you wanted to tell me!" She said hoping she can get an answer out of him. But it was to late he jumped into the car, driving off with his mother.

'To this day can't help but wonder what he wanted to say...' She put a paw on her chin thinking.
Her mother said something immediately snapping out of thoughts. "I thought you guys said you haven't talked in awhile?" Her mother said a little confused. "And that he hasn't been returning you emails or phone calls." Savannah then looked at her mother. "Well yeah...but maybe he's going through a tough time or...his phone or computer probably broke...or both.." She said quietly at the end.
Her mother looked a bit concerned. "Savannah don't you think that's a bit strange?" She then said "that he hasn't talked to you for a while" making Savannah look at her mother. "Mom really everything fine between us, me and Brycen are bffl's. That's friends for life" She said.
Her mother then sighed.
"Ok.." She said before talking with her husband. Savannah then couldn't help but think what school she going to. "Oh yea" making her parents look at her. " what's school I'm I going to?" Her father looked in thought for a moment.
"Well..the Orange County day school seems like a very good school, as well being academically based. So which is very good for you" her father said to her, she couldn't help but get more excited at what he said.
"Oh well that's great!" She said "that's also the same school Brycen goes to" She happily wagged her tail, thinking of the reunion there going to have.
"This is the start of my new life.." Her mother then looked at her raising a brow towards her daughter.
"New life?" She said confused while crossing her arms. "since when dose a new life start at sixteen?"
"Since forever mom, and I know it's going to be amazing" Savannah said smiling brightly.

Savannah woke up in her new room as it was mostly covered in pink. Photos shown around the room of her and Brycen smiling into the camera together.
Savannah couldn't help but grab a photo frame of them together. smiling softly while thinking. ' Pretty soon that's going to be me and Brycen just like the old times' She thought happily. She put the photo down, then went to go get ready for her first day of high school.
Putting on a green sweater along with some jeans, while lastly putting on her collar.
Carefully put on some eyeliner. She took her sunglasses then put them on smiling into the mirror.
"Savannah it's time to go, are you ready?" Her mother said from downstairs. Making her look towards the door before calling out. "Coming mom" She called out to her walking out with her school bag. She looked at a photo one last time smiling softly.
'Pretty soon..'

Savannah got out her moms car as soon as they parked. Savannah couldn't help but gape at how big the school was.
'I-it looks even bigger then I pictured...' She thought to herself. She then noticed a lot of kids now making her somewhat nervous. Her mother snapped her out of her thoughts when she said. "The school looks pretty big" She then turned towards her daughter. "Oh savvy you look gorgeous, your going to fit right in with the other girls"
Savannah looked at her mother a bit worried.
"Y-you really think so?" She said worried a about her height. "I don't look to young..?" She then sighed, looking at her mother. "Mom I've never been to a real school before...I-is public school different from home school?" She asked nervously. Her mother then looked at her giving her a comforting look.
"Well..sure it's different honey, but you'll be ok" She then said "you read the student handbook right?" Tilting her head to the side a bit. Savannah nodded at her mother, "well yea...like twice, they just seem so..." She winced a bit "uptight..."
Mrs'reed just looked at her daughter. "Don't worry about it love ok?, I'm sure it won't be that bad ok?" Gently squeezing her daughter shoulder.
Savannah sighed softly
"Well ok...guess I should get going" She said to her mother. Mrs reed looked at her worried. "Do you want me to come in with you?"
She looked in thought for a moment before shaking her head no. "No it ok mom...I-I'll think I'll be ok.." She said smiling a bit towards her.
"Well ok, I'll be back to pick you up at three ok?"
"Ok mom, love you bye" She quickly said before walking off quickly.
Mrs reed drove away.
Savannah slowed her pace a bit, she looked around nervously. "Wow u-uhm..." Noticing lots of students in groups, couple aggressively making out in corners, jocks fist bumping or girls sharing gossip to each other.
'Oh, w-what if I don't fit in at all..' She looked around worrisome, wondering if she should of stayed home schooled or not. 'I'll guess I just start walking then...' she felt some anxiety shoot up in her a bit, due to the new environment she was in. Not noticing how a few jocks noticed her. They smirked at each other before one of them calling savannah out.
"Yo nice glasses!" He yelled towards her making her shift her head quickly towards him.
Savannah couldn't help but let out a small smile at that. 'Maybe I can fit it..' While saying. "T-thank you" She said a bit shy. They let out a loud snort.
"I wasn't serious!" He and his friends laughed at her. Savannah felt herself deflate feeling a bit humiliated a bit at hearing that.
"Oh..."
'Or maybe not...' She thought sadly, feeling a bit insecure about her glasses now. She quickly walked away from the jocks not wanting to get teased anymore. She the realized. "Wait...I'm going the wrong way" She put a paw on her forehead a little bit embarrassed about what she was doing. "I should be heading to the office building I just saw..." Muttering softly to herself. She quickly walked back, she noticed the office building not that far.
'Well there it is,better get my Schedule for the day' She walked towards it, heading on inside she noticed a wool sheep at the desk typing away. She walked up to her a bit shyly.
"U-uhm hi..." Making the sheep notice her. "Why hello sweetheart" she stopped for a moment typing on her computer for a moment " what can I do for you?" Now looking at Savannah questionably.
"Well I'm new here...my name is savannah reed" She said softly at the end hoping that she heard her. The sheep than said. "Oh, right savannah the new student" She looked
around for some papers, finding them in a small pile. "Ok" She said showing savannah the papers. "Here's a map and your schedule just in case you get lost" She said passing them onto her. Then passing a pink slip to her. "And here's a student slip, just in case you get lost on accident, trying to look for your class" Savannah nodded slightly grabbing the pink slip.
"Uhm thank you.." She said to the sheep making her nod, the sheep went back to typing on her computer. She tried to walk out of their only to get cut off by the sheep.
"Oh, and your lockers combination should be on your schedule as well and where it should be"
She just nodded, walking out of there hoping to find her locker before class.
'I wonder if Brycen around here..' Thinking quietly to herself. Savannah failed to notice the jock who was speeding by on a scooter, knocking her over, along with her papers. "AH!" She yelped loudly falling onto the ground, her papers flying everywhere.
"sorry!" The random guy yelled apologetic out to her before driving away quickly.
The jocks from earlier notice what happened, they snorted from laughter at what they saw. Savannah just grumbled a bit angry still about that guy knocking her over.
'Oh great...'
A male siamese cat with blue eyes notice her and started walking towards her. While she was picking up her papers failed to notice him. He coughed making her look up at him right away. "Uh hey, are you new here?" He asked her curiously.
She winced once more.
"I-is it that obvious?.." She said while looking at him. He scratched his head nodding at her slightly. "Well..." He paused for a moment. "A little, but that's ok." He shrugged a bit before smiling at her. "The names Leon Davis but but you can just call me leo for short, but not anymore nicknames then that" She couldn't help but snort a bit. "Hi Leo, my names savannah reed. But you can call me sav or savvy for short, or whatever" She gently shrugged at him while having a small smile on her face. He chuckled a bit at her, "well it's nice to meet you savvy, need some help getting around?" He asked her.
She had a relieved look, happy that someone was finally helping her out. "Yes please, what dose this even mean?" She muttered at the end making him laugh a bit again. "Here let me see it" He said handing his paw out to her. She gave him the papers. "Oh, wow guess your locker is right beside my friend and I" he said a little surprised as he read it, Savannah also looked surprised.
"Really?" Then felt a little bit more better, realizing that she won't be next to some Random people. "That's great" He nodded, then said. "Here I'll show you where your locker is, follow me" He said pointing his paw (thumb?) towards the school door.
He started walking with Savannah following close behind him. As they walked towards the lockers she noticed a lot more people in here. She couldn't help but feel bad as she watched people write on lockers. Writing horrible stuff on them such as whore,slut,obese,gay and other horrible stuff.
She gently shook her head and stepped up her pace realizing that she was getting lost in the crowd a bit. He turned the corner.
He stopped making sure that she was still behind him, she almost bumped into him. "Oh uh sorry" He said rubbing his head
apologetic towards her. She shook her head "it's okay" She said accepting his apology. The looked around her surroundings. "Uh this school, is a little.." She stopped for a moment. "Uh.." He just looked at her, then said. "Not that great?" She quickly shook her head.
"I mean it ok!" She said quick worried if she said something wrong. He gave her a weird look then snorted a bit. "Relax savvy, I know what your trying to say," He said then went quiet for a moment. "So did you just move here or something?" Curious about her. "Uh yea from Montana." She then smiled awkwardly. "I was homeschooled"
"Ohhh" He said finally understanding why she had that look on her face. "So I guess you've never been to a real school before?"
She shook her head no.
"Let me guess you were expecting something different, right?" He asked, she nodded slightly. He sighed, "well uh sorry that uh..." he paused for a moment to think of what to say "like u know...the schools in cartoons" he winced a bit awkwardly as he said that.
Savannah just blinked at him, Leon felt sweat go down his forehead now regretting the way he phrased it. They quietly looked at eachother awkwardly before Savannah coughed a bit trying to break it. "Well...I mean I know it's not like that..." she looked behind her, her eyes going wide seeing a lanky kid get dragged away by a bulky guy. "Just didn't think it would be this bad.."
She looked a bit horrified seeing the kid get dragged away harshly, Leon followed her gaze cringing a bit seeing the kid looking terrified out of his mind.
Leon shook his head feeling pity for the guy, but now looking at Savannah. "Well u don't have to worry bout being the next meal" he shrugged, Savannah just looked back at him confused. "Since your new here, we will teach u all we know" he looked behind him smirking seeing a brown cocker spinal eating a bagel, he suddenly grabbed him by the hood.
The cocker spinal choked loudly, dropping the bagel then suddenly feeling an arm rest around him.
"THE FU-...?" The cocker spinal snapped at him realizing it was his friend, only to pause seeing a unknown girl infront of him.
"Savannah this is Gabriel Ryan, gabe for short." He then looked at his confused friend. "Gabe this is savannah reed, or more commonly known as savvy or sav" He said towards his him. Savannah walked towards him, putting her paw out in a shaking manner.
"Hi gabe, it's nice to meet you" He shook Leon off him, glaring at Leo watching the cat laugh a bit. Gabe rolled his eyes before taking her paw to shake Then smiled "likewise savvy" He stopped shaking her paw. "So savvy you new here?" He asked curious.
"Well yea, guess its really obvious" She giggled a bit. He chuckled. "Well sav, welcome to Ocd, where everyone is "obsessive" and "compulsive" " He said jokingly. She couldn't help but snort at that, Leo just rolled his eyes at his friend.
"So savvy, heres your locker behind gabe,if he can stop being in the way." He said in a sarcastic tone. He glared at him a bit then said. "I wouldn't be in the way if you hadn't grabbed so harshly you know" he said a bit harshly, his bagel now on the floor because of him. Gabe moved out of the way pouting slightly staring at the bagel on the floor.
"Drama queen.." Leo muttered, gabe immediately snapped his head towards him.
"Heard that" he glared at him slightly.
Savannah couldn't help but laugh a bit at there Friendship.
"Nice, oh and Thanks so much Leo. For taking me to my locker" Leon nodded at her happily.
"Soo,sav what's your first class?" Gabe asked looking away from the bagel now. Savannah looked at her page reading. "Oh uh...a-p English with mr.burk.." Gabe looked shocked then smiled. "Nice, guess you have the morning class with me then" Leo sighed. "Man really, you guys are lucky have math class with misses selva" he stuttered at the last bit.
"Ha ha ha, lucky you" gabe said in a teasing tone towards Leo, he glared at his friend. Gabe looked towards savannah. "Miss selva..is uh little" he paused for a moment "creepy" he cringed at the last bit making Leo winced. "She talks to quietly, can barely even hear what she saying most of the time, and if you 'dare' to interrupt her she just stares at you" making Leo shuddered a bit, as he said that. "She doesn't even say anything.."
Savannah gave a look of pity towards her new friend. She also couldn't help but wonder. She asked.
"So what time dose class start?"
"Uhh" Leo turned his head to the hallway Clock. "Like around 9:00, which is about" he turned his head back towards her. "5 minutes" savannah nodded. "Oh cool wel-" She started saying only to notice a boy across the hall.
"Savvy?" Gabe asked noticing that something is distracting her. Leo noticed it as well following her gaze. He looked only to put on a bored face on,suddenly knowing who she was looking at now. Gabe followed as well doing the same as leo.
"W-who is that" Savannah asked pointing at the collie across the hall, who was talking to some other boys. Leo and gabe looked at eachother.
Gabe sighed, "seen that one coming" rolling his eyes, Leo stared at his friend elbowing him, making him glare again. He than said. "That collie of there, your talking about right?" Savannah nodded "well that's sage bond co captain of the football team."
"And a 'jock' ,a 'hottie' and 'extraordinaire' " Gabe said making quotation marks with his paws (fingers?). "But don't waste your time on him, he's taken" Savannah deflated a little bit at the last part.
"Oh...figures" Knowing someone good looking as him has a girlfriend. Then almost hit herself for forgetting him. "Oh right but do you guys know someone by Bry-" only to get cut off by leo.
"Incoming football captain minions, I repeat incoming minions. Act natural and whatever you do, do not make Direct eye contact" he said looking away from them. Savannah just looked confused, and looked behind him wondering who he was talking about. She saw two bright blond handsome dogs walk around the corner into the hallway one being a chihuahua being a bit smaller then the other one, while the other one a cocker spinal both with navy blue eyes. They walked towards the group sage was in and started chatting with them.
"Football minions?..what?" She asked more confused then ever. They looked at each other then her. "Yup, that's there names.." rolling his eyes. "Who's them?" Making her more and more confused.
Leo then said" 'them' would be Richard rivera and Alex Hamilton." He said looking at them slightly. "One of the meanest and popular people at the school...while also being the dumbest." he muttered at the end. "They will act nice sometimes, but there really 'cats' in disguise"
"Wait...Cats?" She asked him. He looked at her confused then understood right away. "Huh oh, No it's a joke. Like how some cats can be dramatic a lot" Savannah just nodded. Not wanting to comment further. Leo let a wince come to his face realizing who was coming down the stairs. "Oh boy here we go...here come the football captain of the school, the 'king bee'..."He cringed a bit. Students noticed him coming a gasped, moving to the side to make way for him.
He came walking down the hall, the blond cat striding in his steps as if he owned the school, he smirked walking to the group. Richard and Alex along with the other group of boys, looked at him real quick welcoming him.
