"You usually never like cupcakes, I'm a little surprised." Linh said as she and Tam were approaching their lockers as they do everyday.
"It was good. Dark chocolate for the frosting." Tam said, smiling at Linh.
"Seems like this person may actually care for me."
"Well of course Biana cares for you-" Linh began, grinning.
"Uh, may or may not be Biana." Tam said, looking at Linh.
They made it to their lockers and Tam leaned in, licking the DNA strip.
Tam backed away as he opened his locker, licking his lips.
"Meh, not bad." Tam shrugged.
"Tastes like porcaroot pie."
"Mmh." Linh hummed, raising her eyebrows as she leaned in, licking her DNA strip for her locker.
Tam took the letter out of his locker and got it out of the envelope.
Tam smiled as he slowly began to read the letter.
'Dear Tam,
I seen you eating the cupcake I made you. You looked really happy with it, made me feel... I dunno, appreciated. Never seen anyone so happy with something I made.
I'll try and make more things that you may like.
This letter isn't very long, I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed seeing how happy you looked eating the cupcake.
I would write more but, I don't know what else to say. I'll write you another letter in a few days.
~Your Secret
Admirer'
Tam stared at the letter and he bit his inner cheek.
He didn't believe Biana would write something like this. It didn't... feel like Biana would write this.
But who else would write this to him?
Maybe Tam was thinking too negatively, perhaps Biana did write this to him. Perhaps, she did actually have feelings for him.
"What's it say?" Linh asked as she got her books and shut her locker.
Tam got his books and shut his locker.
"Just a short letter, saying how they felt appreciated when they seen how I liked their baking." Tam said, smiling at Linh.
"Won't get another letter for a few days."
"Mmh." Linh nodded.
"You seem to be believing that someone could actually like you." Linh said, nudging Tam's elbow.
Tam looked at Linh and shrugged, letting his bangs fall over his face.
"I think they'd give up by now if they didn't actually like me." Tam said.
"Good morning Songs!"
Tam groaned and Linh giggled as Keefe wrapped his arms around both of their shoulders, standing in between them.
The three of them began to walk through the halls.
"What is it, Sencen?" Tam questioned, looking at the blonde.
Keefe looked at Tam.
"Ooh, you're feeling all happy and fluttery~ your secret admirer send you another letter?" Keefe questioned, leaning closer to Tam.
Tam's cheeks turned red.
"Screw off Sencen." Tam scowled.
"It was sorta sweet." Linh said.
"They said they felt appreciated since Tam liked their baking."
Keefe smiled slightly.
"Awh, cute." Keefe said.
Tam raised an eyebrow. Keefe's tone sounded off. He ignored it though.
"So, you need anything?" Tam asked.
"Nah, just wanted to annoy you." Keefe said, patting Tam's shoulder.
"Congratulations, mission complete." Tam stated, glaring at the blonde.
"Awhh, don't be like that Tammy!" Keefe exclaimed.
"You know you love mee~!"
Keefe puckered his lips at Tam.
Tam yelped as he pushed Keefe off.
"Eughh! Gross!" Tam exclaimed, a smile growing on his face.
Linh giggled and Keefe smiled.
Keefe ruffled Tam's hair.
"Pfft, respect your elders Bangs Boy." Keefe said.
Tam ran his fingers through his hair.
"Mmh. Sorry grandpa." Tam mocked Keefe.
"Wha-hey!" Keefe frowned.
"Linh, your brother is a meanie!"
Linh laughed as she gently took Keefe's arm off her shoulder.
"You kinda asked for it." Linh shrugged.
Keefe scoffed dramatically.
"Augh! I am in pain! The Song twins just insulted me!" Keefe exclaimed, resting his hand over his chest, leaning against Tam's body.
"Get off! You're heavy!" Tam exclaimed, shoving Keefe off.
Keefe grinned at Tam.
"you calling me fat?" Keefe questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"If the shoe fits." Tam shrugged, smirking at Keefe.
Keefe scoffed. "So meaann..."
Linh watched as the two interacted.
It was different than their interactions before. Completely different.
Perhaps this secret admirer was bringing Tam's mood up and Keefe seemed... well he seemed to be enjoying Tam's presence a bit more.
It was strange to say the least.

"I cannot believe you got in detention again."
"You're one to talk Foster."
Sophie and Keefe were sat next to each other in detention. Not many people were in detention.
Elwin was taking over detention for the lunch and was making everyone refill vials of pooka pus.
Though Elwin was kind enough to let people talk during it.
"What'd you get in for?" Keefe asked.
"Nothing." Sophie said.
"I swear, I was minding my own business and then I got blamed for something I didn't even do!"
Keefe hummed in response.
"Sureee, keep your secrets Foster." Keefe grinned.
Sophie rolled her eyes.
"What are you doing in detention?" Sophie asked.
"Eh, was caught skipping classes for like the 4th day in a row." Keefe shrugged.
"Only got this one detention and I'm a free man!"
Sophie smiled.
"You're an idiot." Sophie stated.
"Mmh, I know." Keefe shrugged.
"Y'know I haven't seen you around a lot recently. You planning a prank or something?" Sophie questioned.
Keefe shook his head.
"No, no just been very busy." Keefe said, lying.
"Mmhmm..." Sophie hummed.
"Doing what?"
"Oh, my dad has been pestering me recently." Keefe shrugged.
"Barely get out the house, unless if it's to visit Fitz."
"Y'know, Linh mentioned you and Tam have seemed to be getting a little more friendlier." Sophie stated.
"What? Bangs Boy and I? Nah." Keefe shook his head.
"Just a bit of playful banter. He's probably in a good mood because of his secret admirer. And I'm just always in a good mood."
"Mmh, sure." Sophie raised her eyebrows at Keefe.
"But Tam has a secret admirer?"
"Mmhmm, been writing letters to him and slipping them in his locker." Keefe nodded.
Sophie hummed. "Huh, do you know who it may be?"
Keefe shook his head.
"Nah. But they're really putting Tam in a more cheerful mood. I can sense it off him even when I'm not touching him." Keefe said.
"So, he's falling for someone who he doesn't even know."
"Awh, sort of sweet, isn't it?" Sophie smiled.
Keefe smiled slightly.
"I guess." Keefe shrugged.
"Keefe Sencen and Sophie Foster, less talking and more pooka puss in those vials!"
"Sorry Elwin!"
"Sorry Elwin..."
The two stayed silent for a bit longer.
Keefe was slightly disappointed he didn't see Tam or Linh during lunch to see how they'd act with Biana and Fitz around.
Oh well, he'd have to ask Fitz about it later on.
~~~~~
"Keefe got detention?" Linh questioned.
"He got caught skipping class." Fitz sighed.
"Apparently Elwin is taking over detention today so..."
"Oof, poor Keefe." Biana said.
"And poor Sophie. She got detention too." Dex said, sliding over to sit next to Biana with an apple in hand.
"Oh, hey Dex." Biana smiled.
"We haven't seen you in a while." Linh said, looking at the male who joined them.
Dex shrugged.
"I've been busy with some stuff." Dex said, taking a bite of his apple.
"Mmh, things have been a little hectic recently, huh?" Biana sighed out.
"Yeah, uh anyway. Tam, I heard you got a secret admirer." Dex said, looking at Tam.
Tam was a little surprised.
"Uhh... yeah, what about it?" Tam asked.
Dex shrugged, "I dunno. You have any idea who it may be?"
Tam shrugged back at Dex.
"I dunno, I may have an idea but I'm not too certain." Tam said.
Tam glanced at Biana and slightly smiled at Dex.
"I wonder who it could be." Linh said.
"I mean, Tam is actually kinda starting to fall for this random person."
"Really? Our Tam Song falling for a 'stranger'?" Dex grinned.
"They may be someone we know." Tam pointed out.
"Could be, yeah..." Fitz mumbled.
"Do you think it's a guy or a girl?" Dex asked.
Tam raised his eyebrows at Dex.
"Uh... I think it may be a girl." Tam said.
"Why would it be a guy?"
Dex shrugged.
"People are gay...?" Dex stated, sounding a little unsure.
"Say what??" Fitz gasped.
Linh and Biana giggled as Dex glared at Fitz who was grinning.
"I don't think it'd be a guy." Linh said.
"From the way they've written the letters.... It seems like a girl."
Fitz had to hold back his laughter as he hid his mouth with his hand, resting his fist against his lips.
"Mmh, really?" Biana questioned, also trying to hold back her laughter.
Linh nodded.
"Ah, well I guess we'll see in time." Biana said, smiling.
"I guess we will." Linh stated.
"Unless they chicken out and don't confess to me in person." Tam mumbled.
"Be optimistic!" Linh scowled, elbowing Tam.
"Ah, ow!" Tam scowled back.
Tam rubbed his arm when Linh had hit him, furrowing his eyebrows as he thought about his secret admirer.
Could the letters be from a guy?
