Y/n's Pov:
I was having a nightmare about what had happened in the fissure while fighting the Fault Ripper dragon.
I took out my hammer and smacked the Fault Ripper's claws freeing Light and I.
The Fault Ripper growled and roared at us. Flying back towards us.
"Light, plasma blast!" I said
Light readied a plasma blast while the Fault Ripper's eyes widened looking scared.
My eyes widened and Light shot the Fault Ripper and the Fault Ripper fell into the fissure shrieking.
I gasped when I woke up and started panting a bit. I looked at my shield on the wall and held my necklace.
We were all in the Crystal Realm holding some sensors.
I was flying next to Tom.
"Watch out! Coming through!" D'Angelo says
He then threw his sensor into the ground.
"Bullseye! Jun! Tom! You're up!" D'Angelo says
Jun and Tom both threw their sensors into the ground.
"Alright, Kullersen. You gonna stare at it all day or throw it?" Jun says
"Right. Yeah. Come on, bud." I said
Light looked at me before we flew just above the ground and I threw it down into the crystal before Light landed next my brother and Thunder.
"Sensors in place, perimeter set. How we looking, Y/n and Alex?" D'Angelo asks
I calibrated the sensors to connect to Alex's tablet.
"They're connected and synced." Alex says
"These Sensors will create a nice virtual barrier to warn us if any dragons get too close to the fissure." She explains
"So, we won't get blindsided by another dragon like the Fault Ripper." Jun says
I then saw the Fault Ripper roar in my head when he fell into the fissure.
"You okay, Y/n/sis?" Tom and Jun asked
"Yeah, fine. Right. Girl? All good here." I said petting Light's ear like appendages.
"You know, you can always talk to me sis if something's wrong." Tom says
Just then we heard a loud thud making us gasp hearing rocks crumble and seeing smoke in the distance.
"Something's wrong." I said
We watched as the three bully Gembreakers threw another crystal in front of a cave and flew away.
"What are those gem bullies up to now?" D'Angelo questions
Light and Thunder snarled and flew in front of the crystal covered cave with Feathers, Wu and Wei behind us.
We then heard sad and quiet growling coming from the crystal covered cave and Jun got off Wu and walked closer towards the cave.
"Careful, Jun." my brother says
"Like you and your sister even know the meaning of the word." Jun remarks
Tom and I look at each other and Jun followed by Wu and Wei walk closer.
We then heard a high pitched shriek and Wu quickly grabbed Jun and put their tail in front of her.
"Wu, Wei, back off. The Gembreakers trapped something in there." Jun says
"Tom I think Jun's onto something." I said
"Okay, everyone. Look out. Open it up, pal." Tom says
Thunder then growls as Lightning radiates off him and he blasts the crystals in front of the cave opening it up.
When the smoke clears we heard snarling and saw something run across the cave.
D'Angelo stepped out from behind Plowhorn.
"Friend of foe?" He asks
"I-If you're a foe, you're not required to respond with violence." Alex says
"Yeah, that would be very much appreciated." I said
A tiny dragon with a unicorn came out behind a rock and let out a high pitched shriek.
"It's a baby unicorn!" Jun exclaims running towards the baby.
Wei growled in response.
The baby unicorn like dragon jumped on Jun who laughed when it did.
"It's definitely unicorn adjacent, Jun, but I think it's actually a dragon." Tom says
"I agree with my brother on that statement." I said
"Ooh! I call dragon dibs!" Jun exclaims
"Dragon dibs? Is that a thing?" D'Angelo questions
"Jun...." I started
"I know he's cute, but we don't know this dragon." Tom says
Wu and Wei behind him narrowed their eyes.
"I know he's adorable." Jun says
The baby unicorn like dragon squeaked in response.
Wu and Wei let out a sad grumble looking a bit jealous.
"Aw!" Jun giggles
The unicorn like dragon then let bubbles form out of his horn.
Jun gasps "Oh my gosh! It has a bubble horn!"
"That's a fitting name." I said
One of the bubbles floated over to D'Angelo and exploded when he touched it.
This caused Plowhorn to grumble and she launched D'Angelo off her back.
All of the other dragons got into defensive positions and started growling.
"Whoa! The bubbles are weaponized! Watch your brows!" D'Angelo yells
Alex screams and hid behind Feathers.
The bubble then exploded right in front of Feathers making her exhale when it does.
"That little dude's dangerous!" Tom says
"Well, what do you expect? He's so tiny. Naturally, he developed a way to protect himself." Jun says
"Naturally." Alex says
"Aw, Nibbles is hungry." Jun cooed
"Nibbles?" Tom, D'Angelo, and I questioned
"Does anyone have a snack?" Jun asks
Alex then took out a bag of Cheezy Loops and threw them to her but Nibbles grabbed them in mid air and it landed on his horn.
Once Nibbles landed he shook the bag around and Cheezy loops flew in every direction.
"Aw!" Jun cooes
Alex then walked up to us.
"She named it, she fed it, she loves it. We're in trouble." Alex says
"That's for sure." I said
Jun then picked up Nibbles.
"I'm gonna bring him home, feed him a real meal." She says
"And I'm gonna stop you there." I said
"Jun! Rule number three of Dragon Club. What happens in the Dragon World stays in the Dragon World." D'Angelo says
"But, he's so small. Nobody will ever know, and I have to protect him from the Gembreakers." Jun argues
"Jun, this little one has a horn that creates explosive bubbles." I said
"Yeah, I think he'll be okay." Alex says
D'Angelo's watch starting beeping.
"Come on, it's getting late." He says
"We'll check on him first thing tomorrow. Anyway, the Gembreakers think he's trapped in that cave. He'll be fine. Promise." Tom says
Nibbles squeaked in Jun's arms as she put him down.
"It's almost curfew. We should go." D'Angelo says
We all walked back to our dragons.
Jun sighs "Okay, okay. Just let me say goodbye."
I glance back at her.
"Just goodbye. Promise." Jun says
I turned back around as I walked with Tom to our dragons.
We all got up in the air waiting for Jun.
"Jun! Come on!" Tom yells
We then left expecting Jun to follow close behind.
We were all running through the forest and back into Rakke Town.
Jun then ran in front of us.
"Okay! Well.... (She yawns) Oh, so tired. See you guys tomorrow." Jun says quickly running away
"That was weird." Tom says
"Of all the things Jun does, you think that was weird?" Alex asks
"True." I said
D'Angelo's watch started beeping making him gasp "Curfew!"
Tom and I watched Jun leave as we looked at each other.
"Tom, you don't think she..." I said
"I don't know yet. Let's just hope she didn't and we should hurry home." Tom says
"Your right. Let's go." I said leading the way home.
We hurriedly made our way back home.
Once we made it back home and saw mom making dinner.
"And where were you two at all day?" Mom asked
"Oh, we were just playing.... Dragon Club with the other kids." I said gently elbowing my brother.
"Yeah.... We got carried away and lost track of time." Tom says
"Dragon Club? Oh, well, I found out some news recently." Mom says
"Really? What is it?" Tom asks quickly
"Come on spill the beans." I said
"You two remember Genesis and her son Luca right?" Mom asks
"You mean the kid with the horn on his belt?" Tom questions
"Yeah. I remember him. I haven't seen him since I ended up in the hospital." I said
"Yeah. Well, Genesis got a job for the Rakke Corp as a geographical data maper. Which means she and her son will be moving out here." Mom explains
"Awesome. I can't wait to see him." I said
"Same here. I wonder how much he's changed." Tom says
"Last I saw him he was so timid. But it was fun hanging out with him." I said
"Alright you two, go to bed." Mom says
"We will. Goodnight mom." I said
"Night mom." Tom says
Mom walked into her bedroom and shut the door.
"Okay, Tom. I have to show you something." I said
"What is it sis?" Tom asks
"You know how sometimes you catch me pulling all nighters?" I asked
"Yes.... Sis did you pull another one?" Tom asks
"I did, but for a good cause. You'll like it, I promise." I said
"Well, what did you do?" Tom asks
"Here let me show you." I said
I then had Tom follow me to my room where I pulled out some dragon saddles I had made with all of the spare leather and metal that was thrown out from the big dome.
"Sis, you made, saddles? Why did you make saddles?" Tom questions
"Well, the amount of time we sit on our dragons backs. It hurts longer due to just sitting on nothing but scales. So, I decided to do something about it. I had everyone send me a picture of what kind of saddle they wanted and I was going to make it." I explained
"That's actually pretty smart. How much longer till they'll be ready?" Tom asks
"Tomorrow, I just have to adjust some stuff and tighten some pieces of metal and leather and they'll be all ready." I explained
"That's great. But, I'm going to get some sleep, you should to." Tom says
"Alright, fine. Goodnight." I said
"Night." Tom says
He then leaves to his room while I put the saddles away.
I then climbed onto bed and went to sleep.
I was rudely woken up by hearing howling in the middle of the night.
I then walked out of my room the same time my brother walked out of his.
"We should go check that out." Tom says
"Yeah." I agreed
We then went out of the dome quietly and walked around for a bit and saw Jun next to a knocked down trash can.
"Jun!" Tom says
"Ah! Oh! Hey, guys." Jun says
"You heard that weird noise too?" D'Angelo asks running over to us with Alex.
"Noise? (She laughs nervously) No! It was just.... me howling for Bigfoot. You know, like I do." Jun says and she does a very weird howl.
We all stared at her.
"Okay, fine. This is what happened." Jun says
"You brought the Bubblehorn home." Tom says
"Figured." I said
"Knew it." Alex says
"You. Did. What?" D'Angelo says
"I never should've left you alone with him." Tom says
"He was hungry!" Jun tries to explain
"That's no excuse!" D'Angelo says
"We gotta find that little dragon before someone else does." I said
"Yeah. This is bigger than Jun breaking rule number two." Tom says
"It was rule number three! Does no one read my handouts?" D'Angelo asks
"Alright. Let's split up and search the grounds." I said
We then heard wing flapping and saw Light and Thunder.
"Looks like Thunder and Light are here to help us search." Tom says
"Even the dragons know I took Nibbles?" Jun questions
"You don't have a very good poker face, Jun. Your eye twitches when your hiding something." Alex says
"That, and we all have dragons with a good sense of smell. They could smell Nibbles." I said
Jun covers her eye, "It does not!"
"It totally does." D'Angelo says
We were all searching in different areas.
"Nibbles? Nibbles where are you?" I quietly called out
I then heard a bush shaking behind me.
"Nibbles. Yes finally, come here you naughty dragon." I said
I then jumped over the bush and ended up on the other side of it holding the same chicken from before.
"Why? Oh, why does this always happen?" I groaned
I also heard Tom get thrown out of a bush by a sheep.
Alex then finds a bag of Cheesy loops on a rock. She then throws the bag in the air before smashing it in her hands making a puff of orange smoke. This in return had summoned nibbles who was on a bush behind her.
We then heard Alex yelling.
"Ah! Help! Ah! I'm being Loop-mugged!" Alex yells
We all rush over to her and see Nibbles on top of Alex.
"Whoa! Cheesy Loops are like dragon nip! Who knew?" D'Angelo says
He then picks up Nibbles but Nibbles bites him making him drop Nibbles. Nibbles tries to fly away but my brother catches him. Nibbles then kicks Tom in the face and flies away.
"Stop it, guys! You're scaring him!" Jun says
Nibbles then flies away.
"Scaring him?" Tom questions
Light flew over my head and slapped me with her tail and then she and Thunder flew over the big dome.
I groaned rubbing my head. "Was that really necessary?"
Light just grumbled a laugh.
"Nibbles must be in the big dome." Tom says
"But how'd he get inside?" D'Angelo questions
"I think I know." Jun says
She then crouches down next to a hole in the wall.
"Looks like he bubble blasted the door." Jun says
"So, how do we get inside?" D'Angelo asks
"Leave that to me." Alex says
She then opens her computer and we eventually got inside.
"I hear him, but I don't see him." Tom says
"I hope he's not afraid of the dark." Jun says
"Really?" D'Angelo says
We all walked in and started searching for Nibbles.
"Split into groups of two and three. We'll cover more ground." D'Angelo says
D'Angelo and Alex went with each other and me, my brother and Jun were with each other.
I sighed and turned away from Jun and my brother turned away as well.
"You're both really mad, huh?" Jun says
"Why'd you do it Jun? You know it's against Dragon Club rules." Tom says
"Do you know what would happen if someone saw Nibbles running around?" I questioned
"And you both know I've believed in unicorns my whole life." Jun says
"Jun, he's not a unicorn!" I said
"I know that! But it's the closet I've ever been. I just wanted to spend time with him, study him, see what I could learn. (I still turned away) Do I regret it now? Yes. But haven't you ever done something you regret?" Jun explains
I could hear the Fault Ripper roaring from when he fell into the fissure and turned around.
"Yeah." I said
"See? Neither of us is perfect." Jun says
"Alright, well then, let's just-" Tom explains
"Busted!" Eugene laughs
"Ah! Eugene!" Jun says
"Totally got you guys." Eugene says
"Eugene?" Tom and I questioned
"Tommy? Y/n? Haven't seen you two since you were both 6. Nice hair. You cut it yourself?" Eugene says
Tom laughs nervously "That's funny, Eugene."
"You haven't changed a bit either." I said
"What are you doing here?" Jun asks
"Well, you weren't in the dome. Figured you're up to no good." Eugene says
"We're not up to anything." Jun says
"Yeah, sure you're not. So, what are we doing? TP the stadium? Grease the floor with lard? Throw a million fizzies in the fissure?" Eugene asks
"No!" Jun says
"You need me to lead this. I'm a pro. And there's nothing else to do around here." Eugene says
My brother grabs both Jun and I and starts to lead us away from him
"Uh, Eugene? Yeah. Can you give us a sec?" Tom says
He then leads us to another shopping aisle.
"Did you know he was here?" Tom asks
"I found out earlier." Jun says
"Is there anything else you're hiding from us today?" Tom asks
"Seriously? You and your sister are one to talk, Kullersen." Jun snaps
"Jun, if Eugene sees that little dragon, the secret's as good as dead." I said
"Just go help D and Alex. I'll handle Eugene." Jun says
We all walked separate ways and Jun went to deal with her brother.
"There he is. He's staring right at us." Alex says
"No sudden movements, or he'll dart off again. Ah!" D'Angelo says before Tom and came up behind him.
Alex then grabbed a bag of Cheesy loops.
"Didn't you already try that?" Tom asks
"It ended in disaster!" D'Angelo whisper yelled
"But it's the only thing that helped us find him." I whispered
"Yeah. But this time when he goes for the Loops, you guys grab him. Here, dragon, dragon, dragon!" Alex explains shaking the bag of cheesy loops.
We all screamed when Nibbles flew straight at us knocking us all aside and he stole the cheesy loops bag from Alex.
"Ugh, Nibbles definitely has some attitude." I groaned
Jun then ran behind us.
Alex sighed "Time to go in the offensive."
She then grabbed a broomstick and a trash can, she then handed the broomstick to my brother and the trash can to D'Angelo.
We then found Nibbles who had found the cheesy loops.
Nibbles looked at us and growled.
"I got a bad feeling about this." Tom says
"Same here." I said
Nibbles than roared extremely loud that it could be heard from the fissure.
The little dragon then got into a bag of cheesy loops and knocked over the shelf it was on creating a mess.
Tom was ready though as he was behind Nibbles.
"D!" He yelled and hit Nibbles into the trash can D'Angelo was holding and D'Angelo then closed the lid.
"Goal!" D'Angelo exclaimed
Nibbles shrieked.
"Okay, okay, we got him. Be gentle. Aw, poor little guy." Jun says
"Poor little guy? He's the devil incarnate!" D'Angelo exclaimed and Jun held onto the trash can.
"But at least we caught him." I said
"What are we going to do about Eugene?" Tom asks
"Wait, I thought his name was Nibbles." Alex says
"It's a long story." Jun says
"We'll explain when we get this little guy out of ICARIS." Tom says
We were all running through the forest back towards the fissure as Thunder and Light flew above us.
"It's cool you have a brother! I've always wanted one!" D'Angelo exclaims
"Really? You can have mine." Jun says
"I'll bring Nibbles home on Thunder." Tom says
"I'll come with you." I said
"Wait a sec. I'll come check on you tomorrow, okay?" Jun says
We then heard beeping coming from Alex's tablet.
"Uh oh." Alex says
"What oh?" D'Angelo asks
"The sensors from the early warning system are going nuts. Something's coming up from the fissure." Alex explains
The beeping got faster and we ran towards the edge of the fissure.
"That's a lot of beeps." Tom says
"We got movement, 12 o'clock." D'Angelo says
We then saw a group of Bubblehorns come up from the fissure and they all started making explosive bubbles from their horns.
We watched as Thunder and Light avoided the blasts.
Jun laughs nervously "Looks like everyone gets a unicorn."
"He's not a unicorn!" Tom and I said at the same time.
"He called in the Calvary. We are being invaded!" D'Angelo says
"I knew anything that cute had to be evil." Alex says
Nibbles shrieked and the other Bubblehorns heard him and then they spiked their scales with a bunch of horns.
"Okay, he's not as harmless as I thought. Maybe you guys were right." Jun says
The Bubblehorns then lit their horns on fire as they flew towards us.
"Maybe?!" Tom exclaims
"Retreat!" D'Angelo yells
We all ran away from the Bubblehorns.
Thunder and Light growled before flying away.
"Leave me alone! I'm defenseless!" D'Angelo yells
Jun then got corned. "Ah! Oh! They're trying to free Nibbles!"
Tom then waved them away. "That's it! Let's use Nibbles to lead them back into the fissure."
"But how do we get through that platoon of bubblers?" D'Angelo asks
All the Bubblehorns were blocking our way over to the fissure.
We then heard a roar and Thunder shot a lightning blast at the Bubblehorns.
We then saw Light leading Thunder and the other dragons in the sky.
"Light and Thunder got us air support!" I exclaimed
"Clear a path pal! Shoot to stun! Shoot to stun!" Tom directed
Thunder then shot at more Bubblehorns knocking them away from us.
"Commence with Operation Hot Potato!" D'Angelo says
We all then ran back towards the fissure and more Bubblehorns flew towards us.
"Wu! Wei!" Jun yells
The two headed dragon then blasted the Bubblehorns.
"Incoming!" Tom yells
"Catch!" Jun yells
She then throws Tom Nibbles as she's swarmed by the Bubblehorns.
Tom catches Nibbles and jumps over one of Thunder's blast.
"Sis!" He yelled
Tom then threw me Nibbles as he was getting swarmed by Bubblehorns.
I caught Nibbles and when more Bubblehorns were coming after me Light landed in front of me blasting at the Bubblehorns.
I then slid under Light evading more Bubblehorns before I was getting surrounded by more Bubblehorns!
"Alex! Go deep!" I yelled
I then threw Nibbles to Alex before getting swarmed by the Bubblehorns.
Alex closed her eyes as she ran and caught Nibbles before stopping.
"I actually caught him!" Alex exclaims
"Run! Alex! Run!" I yelled
"Oh, right." Alex says
She then ran as more Bubblehorns chased after her
Feathers followed Alex and pushed the Bubblehorns away from her.
D'Angelo then ran past her.
"Gonzalez! I'm wide open!" D'Angelo yells
Alex then threw Nibbles to D'Angelo who caught Nibbles smoothly.
Plowhorn then flew after his rider boogie blasting any Bubblehorns that get to close to him.
"Can't handle this. Spin move!" D'Angelo says evading them.
More Bubblehorns flew in front of him.
"You think I'm going that way, huh? Swim move! You got nothing—" D'Angelo exclaims before he trips over a rock and drops Nibbles who's still in the trash can as it flies into the fissure.
"No!" He yells
All the Bubblehorns flew after Nibbles as we all ran up behind D'Angelo.
"Nibbles!" Jun yells
We looked into the fissure and saw the Bubblehorns had caught Nibbles and freed him dropping the trash can into the fissure.
"He's fine. Evil, but fine." Alex says
"Okay. Crisis averted." Tom says
"Now, let's send our dragons back to the lair and get home before my dad wakes up and buddy us." D'Angelo says
"Sounds good to me." I said
"You coming, Jun?" Tom asks
"Bye, Nibbles." Jun says
Nibbles roars before he and the other Bubblehorns started making a massive bubble and they flew down into the fissure letting the explosive bubble fly upwards.
"Uh, guys?" Jun says
We then heard a bubbling noise.
"You guys heard that, too, right?" Alex asks
We all gasped seeing the size of the bubble created.
"What is that?" Alex questions
"They combined their powers to create the ultimate bubble bomb!" D'Angelo exclaims
"Based on the explosive power of one small bubble...." Alex starts
"That one's going to blow up the entire town." I finished
"Quick, Thunder!" Tom yells
He then ran off the fissure landing on Thunder as I did the same with Light.
"Thunder! Lights out!" Tom says
Thunder then radiated with lighting before shutting off the power.
"What do we do? If we blast it, it'll just blow up." Alex asks
"We have to somehow move it out of town without making it pop." Tom says
"I got it! You guys get underneath and get ready to catch." Jun says
"Again?" Alex asks
Jun then flew over to the bubble as we flew underneath it.
"Wu! Freeze it!" Jun exclaims
Wu growls before freezing the bubble and Alex and I crouched on top up on our dragons holding it from the bottom as Tom and D'Angelo held onto the side of it.
Tom groans "Got it. I think."
D'Angelo groans "Good over here!"
"Alright! This is enough catching for one day." Alex says
"Agreed." I said
We all threw it down into the fissure.
"Light it up, pal." Tom says
But I quickly flew in front of him blocking Thunder from blasting it.
"Sis what are you doing?" Tom asks
"Let Light take the shot. She has the most accurate blast one stray strand of lightning might be bad if it hits the bubble making an even bigger explosion." I said
"Good point." Tom says
"Light! Plasma blast!" I exclaimed
Light shot the bubble as it fell into the fissure and we watched as the bubble blew up.
We were all back in the dragon lair with our dragons.
"Okay, so just to be clear, I'm adding a new rule to Dragon Club. No bringing cute unicorn dragons back home." D'Angelo says
Alex sighs "We'll call it the Jun rule."
"Okay, fine. I get it. But, what did you expect me to do? I couldn't just leave Nibbles down there to starve to death." Jun says
"Jun's right. I mean she shouldn't have brought it home, but our mission is to protect dragons."Tom says
I then turned to Light who growled at me as I held her head "And to never hurt another dragon. That's what it means to be a dragon rider." I said
Thunder and Light both looked at each other and grumbled.
We all gathered around and put our fists together.
We were all climbing out of the dragon lair.
"Next time we come across a hungry dragon, we'll just grab some Cheesy Loops from the General store and make deliveries ." D'Angelo says
"Dragon delivery service. I like it." Alex says
"The general store.... I forgot about Eugene!" Jun exclaims
Meanwhile in the general store Eugene was sleeping in the storage closet surrounded by Cheesy Loops.
I then went into my room and held up my finished saddle for Light.
"Looks like everyone gets a nice saddle tomorrow." I said
A helicopter was flying towards Rakke Town was two certain people in it as the sun was slowly coming up.
