Harry woke up one morning on the bus feeling a bit ill. His head hurt causing the room to spin when he opened his eyes and his stomach churched with every movement of the bus. He whimpered as he looked out seeing his bandmates and you, his girlfriend, were already up. He could smell someone making breakfast which cause his stomach to flip. He groaned as he tried to stand up out of bed. The room was spinning and he had to hold on to the bunk to keep himself stable. He took a deep breath and walked out to meet you guys. Niall smiled at him when he saw him come out.
"Morning Harry," he said cheerfully. Harry smiled slightly. You noticed something was wrong.
"What's wrong babe?" you asked as he sat down next to you.
"Don't feel well," he said softly. You wrapped your arms around him and you could feel the heat coming off his body. You put your hand on his head.
"Baby, you've got a fever." This caused the other three boys to look up. Liam was first to come over to check on him.
"What's going on Haz?" he asked softly.
"My head is killing me and my stomach hurts," he explained shutting his eyes.
"Do you feel like you might throw up mate?" Louis asked standing up. Harry nodded. You rubbed his back looking up at the other boys. Niall jumped up and grabbed the trash from the kitchen.
"Just lay down babe," you whispered pulling him into you. He curled up in a ball putting his head on your lap.
"Just take it easy mate," Liam said patting his back. He stood up and sat down on the couch next to Niall. You rubbed Harry's back hoping to comfort him. He shivered from the fever.
"Nialler, will you get his blanket from his bed please?" you asked looking up at him. He nodded jumping up to grab it. Harry coughed as he shivered in your arms. You felt so bad there was nothing more you could do for him. Niall came back with Harry's blanket and laid it down over him.
"Better Harry?" he asked putting his hand on his back. Harry nodded.
"Let's just watch a film and relax," Louis said. He jumped up and grabbed several movies. He popped on in and everyone sat there quietly. Harry would cough occasionally but he seemed alright. When the first movie was over he had fallen asleep.
"Is he sleeping?" Liam whispered pointing at Harry. You nodded and rubbed down his side. "Here put in another one Lou," Liam said throwing the next movie at him. Louis switched out the disks and sat back down. About half way through that movie Harry started to get antsy. You looked down at him and saw the pained look on his face.
"Hazza?" you asked rubbing his side. The boys pause the movie and looked over at him. Before he could answer he gagged, throwing up all over him and the floor. Everyone jumped into action. You sat Harry up while Niall grabbed the trash bin and held it under Harry's chin. Louis took the now dirty blanket off of Harry and Liam went to find stuff to clean up with. You rubbed Harry's back as he continued to be sick in the bin.
"That's it Harry, almost done," Niall whispered. Harry coughed and spit into the bin and took a shaky breath.
"I'm alright," he muttered.
"Let's get you out of those clothes babe," you said. You helped up him taking him back to the bunks. You gave him some new clothes while he took the dirty ones off. You threw them into a bag until you got somewhere you could wash them. "You ok baby?" you asked taking his hand.
"I'm sorry," he said sadly. You saw tears forming in his eyes.
"No, babe don't be upset it's not your fault," you soothed. You pulled him in for a hug and rubbed up and down his back. "Why don't you lay in your bunk?" you asked moving him towards the bed. He nodded and laid down you had a spare blanket on your bed that you pulled off and gave to him. "I'm gonna go help them up there try to get some sleep," you said pushing the hair out of his eyes. He nodded. You leaned down and kissed his head and walked out to help the boys clean up. "Sorry guys," you said sadly.
"Don't worry about it. Is he ok?" Liam asked.
"I put him to bed so hopefully he can get some sleep for now," you said grabbing the newly cleaned trash bin. You took it back to Harry who was already sleeping. You but the bin beside it bed and walking back out. The boys had finished cleaning up and had sat back down. You plotted down next Louis. He put his arm around you.
"You alright love?" Louis asked. You took a deep breath and nodded.
"I just hope he's alright. I hate seeing him sick," you sighed. Louis rubbed up and down your arm.
"I'm sure he'll be alright love," Liam said. You nodded. Louis pulled you in for a hug that you accepted happily.
"Thanks guy for your help," you said looking up at them. They all smiled and nodded. You sat around while Harry slept. You guys reached the hotel with no problem. You walked back and gently shook Harry awake. "Babe," you whispered. He groaned and opened his eyes. "We're here babe," you told him. He nodded. You guys grabbed your suitcases and headed into the hotel pushing past the paparazzi waiting for you. Harry's stomach flipped and he swallowed hard pushing down the bile rising in his throat. He grabbed your hand causing you to look at him. He face was pale and sweaty and you could tell he was really unwell. You squeezed his hand and headed up to your hotel room.
"Let us know if you need anything mate," Liam said before going in to his room. You thanked him and went into your room. Harry sat down on the bed trying to fight off the sick feeling in his stomach while you set your bags down.
"You doing ok Hazza?" you asked rubbing his back. He shook his head. You could still feel the heat coming off of his body. You sighed sitting down next to him continuing to rub his back. He suddenly sprang up running into the bathroom. You followed him quickly kneeling down behind him to rub his sweaty back. He gagged in to bowl bring up what little was left in his stomach. "Poor baby," you whispered as he gagged again. You sat there with him until he was finished. He was weak and couldn't stand well on his own. You helped him stand and walk back to the bed where you laid him down and covered his shaking body with the blankets. You grabbed the trash bin and put it beside the bed.
"Lay with me?" he asked sadly.
"I will baby, I want to take your temp," you told him reaching into your bag looking for the thermometer. You pulled it out and stuck it in Harry's mouth. When it beeped you took it out and looked at it. "103.5," you read out loud. Your heart raced that was pretty high. You went back to the bathroom and got a cloth, soaked it in cool water and came back putting it on Harry's head. You crawled into bed behind him pulling him close to you. "Just take it easy baby," you whispered. He whimpered a little and cuddled in close to you. He didn't sleep for very long before he sat up and grabbed the bin beside the bed. He brought up nothing but stomach acid causing him to cry out. You rubbed his back until he was done then you took the bin and got him some water. He sipped on the water but his stomach immediately rejected it. You watching in horror as you boyfriend threw up the little water he drank. "I'm gonna call one of the boys I don't know what to do," you said tears forming in your eyes.
"Niall," he whimpered. You nodded taking out your phone and calling Niall. You told him to come to the room which he agreed to do. Within seconds he was at the door.
"What's going on?" the blonde asked when you opened the door. He took one look at Harry and he knew. "Aww Hazza," he said softly.
"He can't keep anything down," you told him. Niall put his hand on Harry's head.
"He's burning up. Did you take his temperature?" Niall asked.
"I did a while ago," you told him. He grabbed the thermometer and put it back in Harry's mouth. He pulled it out when it beeped. "104.6," he said. Niall got pale and you felt the color drain for your face as well. "We need to get him to a hospital," he said looking down at Harry. You nodded and agreed. "I'm gonna get the others. Stay with him," he told you jumping up. Harry reached for the bin again but had nothing left to bring up.
"Oh baby," you said tears slipping out of your eyes. Liam and Paul burst back through the door followed by Niall and Louis.
"We gotta get him up," Paul said. You nodded and stepped back. He and Liam helped Harry get up, standing on either sides of them to support his him. You guys rushed him to the hospital. They told you he was severely dehydrated but he would be alright. You sat with him all night until he was released. He was back on his feet in a few days.
