It feels good to be back here, I apologize for this update being longer than usual. It's nearing the end of the year and tasks are starting to flood me, I hope I can handle them (God save me, I need money).
Before we start I want you to get to know one of my lovely writer friends Amariaaw, she also wrote about Daerin and Bbangsaz. Haerin furrowed her brows when she felt something heavy on top of her body, and it felt warm. She opened her eyes, a familiar fragrant scent slowly filled her sense of smell.

She hugged Danielle tightly, "I love you so much Dani...", she was about to move her face to kiss her again but Danielle pushed her face away, Haerin's brows furrowed, "Ok that's enough, we have to wake Minji and Hanni.", "What? Why? Just let them."
Danielle got off the bed and looked at Haerin, "The bell for breakfast has rung, we will have breakfast together, this is our tradition. Now let's get cleaned up." she smiled sweetly.
Haerin was about to reply but the Australian gave her a sharp look, she closed her mouth again and quickly got off the bed, rushing to the bathroom.

Yoona adjusted the position of the towel wrapped around her body, she then began to brush her hair. She stopped what she was doing when she heard the bell tinkling, she then walked over to Hyein who was still asleep on the bed.

Hyein rubbed her eyes, "Gathering? Can't we do it here?", "No, we'll gather downstairs Hyein.", "You mean...we all have breakfast together in the dining room?" asked Hyein in her sleepy voice, "Yes.", "But shouldn't we have breakfast in bed? Rich people did it in the movies."
Yoona stopped what she was doing, " Baby, we're not in a movie."
Hyein ran a hand through her hair, "But I'm still sleepy.", Yoona turned around, "Get up, we're at Danielle's parents' place, we have to follow their rules." The wavy haired girl was getting impatient.

Minji stared flatly at the french toast in front of her, still annoyed that Danielle and Haerin had ruined her intimate morning with Hanni.

"What?" Haerin asked coldly, Minji swallowed her strawberry, "You interrupted my time with Hanni.", " It's your own fault for not answering when I knocked, you should feel sorry for my eyes seeing you guys."
Minji picked up her fork, she was going to stab this jerk in the hand!
"Okay kids, time to go, we don't want to be late." At the sound of Mrs. Kim's voice, Minji sighed, why would anyone want to watch a stupid art performance the day before Christmas? And surely the place would be very crowded!
Haerin sighed slowly, she wanted to run away but surely Minji and Hyein would tie her up before she got to the door.
Mr. and Mrs. Marsh stood up from their chairs, Danielle also stood up and approached her mother, she seemed to whisper something.
Mrs. Marsh then nodded and gave a small smile, Danielle then approached Mrs. Kim and held her hand.
"I know Haerin and I promised to accompany you to the Opera House, but it's Christmas Eve and I just realized that I have an appointment with my childhood friend, he will be flying to Japan tomorrow morning on business for three months, so our only chance to meet is today."
Haerin furrowed her brows, a childhood friend? He? A GUY??
"And I want to invite Haerin, Minji and Hanni as well as Hyein and Yoona to accompany me. So you and my parents can become more familiar without being bothered by us." Danielle gave her best smile.
Minji looked at her mother who was showing a thinking face, hoping that the middle-aged woman would be affected by Danielle's words.
Haerin and Hyein joined in the prayer.
Minji then secretly smiled when her mother returned Danielle's handhold and smiled widely, "Of course dear, you guys have fun.", she then approached Minji and Haerin, kissing their cheeks, "Take good care of your partner, and don't fight."
She then went over to Hyein and hugged her tightly, "My favorite tall and cute darling, you should have fun too. Don't hesitate to tell me if Minji acts out of line with you." she smiled, hugging Yoona as well.
Minji rolled her eyes.
Mrs. Marsh put on her coat and walked over to Danielle, kissing her cheek, "Don't go home too late, have fun but be careful. Bring Steve and Rufus to guard you."
Danielle smiled and nodded, she then hugged her father and kissed his cheek, "Have fun."
Mrs. Kim went over to Hanni and hugged her tightly, "My beautiful daughter-in-law, take care of your health, remind Minji to eat lots of meat.", "Mom, you'll only be gone a few hours, not years." Minji rubbed the bridge of her nose.
Hanni smiled, "I'll do it Mom.", Mrs. Kim turned to Danielle, "Thank you for introducing me to your very kind and hospitable parents, you should also let me know if Haerin misbehaves with you."
"Mom, it's only our second day here but you talk like we're going back to Korea." Haerin rubbed her forehead.
Danielle chuckled, "Thank you Mrs. Kim." she kissed the cheek of the middle-aged woman, "You are very beautiful and have a good personality, it would be nice if you became my daughter-in-law." she clasped her hands in front of her chest.
"Mom, don't you have to go now? You don't want to be late, do you? Danielle's parents are waiting in the car." Haerin said, her mother was really unstoppable when it came to talking, why did she never know?
Mrs. Kim kissed Haerin's cheek again, she turned to Minji, about to kiss her again, "Mom, the streets will definitely be very crowded, you should hurry." Minji took two steps back, "Alright I'm leaving now, be nice kids!" she exclaimed as she stepped out the door.

Hyein cast her eyes around the cafe, the place was very big, very luxurious, looking more like a fancy restaurant than a coffee place.
The distance between the tables was not too close so the sound of conversation from the tables around them was not too audible, just a faint murmur.
They had four display cases for bread, cakes and desserts, all in different shapes and flavors. They also had a large ice cream machine, and coffee machines with famous brands.
Her eyes then glanced at Minji and Hanni who were busy looking at the bread display case, Haerin was ordering drinks.
"George will be here in five minutes." Danielle's voice was heard, she placed a tray of matcha frappuccino and banana toffee doughnut on the table, Hyein's saliva dripped from the aroma.
"Who's George?" Yoona asked, Danielle sat down and started slicing the donut, "My childhood friend, the owner of this cafe." she said as she stuffed the piece of doughnut into her mouth.
"Aaahhh, the one you told your mom about. I thought you were just making up an excuse so we wouldn't have to go with them."
Danielle ate the second piece of doughnut, "No, I didn't lie." she smiled, "Do you want to try it? It's really good." she said to Yoona, "I want to buy that." Hyein stood up from her chair and headed for the doughnuts display case.
Haerin came in shortly after, carrying a tray of ham and bacon sandwiches and a mug of cappuccino. She almost threw the tray when she saw Danielle stand up and smile widely before hugging a tall, bearded stranger.
The cat-eye put down her tray loudly, "Who is that sissy hugging Danielle?!" she growled loudly, Yoona who was looking at Hyein jumped in surprise, she immediately looked at Haerin, then at Danielle who just let go of her hug and at Haerin again, "He's Danielle's childhood friend." she answered.
Haerin walked over to them and pulled Danielle into her arms, she looked the man up and down, "Who are you?" she hissed, Danielle released her body from her lover's arms, "Stop it, he's my friend."
The man extended his hand, "Hello, I'm George Humbart." Haerin just stared at the hand coldly, "George? What kind of name is that? Are you Peppa Pig's little brother?"
"Kang Haerin."
Haerin shut her mouth and grumbled, Danielle faced George, "This is my lover, Kang Haerin. She didn't sleep well last night so she's acting like this. I'm sorry." she smiled, Haerin let out a loud snort, Danielle immediately stomped on the cat-eye's foot with her boot.
George chuckled, "It's okay, I know the feeling." He then pulled out a chair for Danielle, "Have a seat, what do you think of this place?" He then went to sit on Danielle's right, Haerin immediately darted and occupied the chair, looking at the man sharply,
George raised his eyebrows, he looked at Danielle who looked at him apologetically, he laughed and sat next to Yoona, "That's my girlfriend's seat." Yoona smiled sweetly, George looked back at her, "Oh I'm sorry." he laughed as he stood up and moved to one of the empty seats opposite Danielle.
"This place is very luxurious and elegant, and the food is also very good." Danielle said with sparkling eyes, George smiled widely, "I'm glad you like it, I'm grateful that people like the results of my passion and hard work."
"That's right! You've always loved baking since you were a kid.", "Yes, and you helped me a lot, do you remember we used to bake bread for our neighbor, Mrs. Ludos?"
Minji came in with Hanni and Hyein, she put her drink on the table and looked at George with furrowed brows, "Who is this? Why is he sitting here?" she asked Haerin, "He's Dani's friend." the cat-eye spat out her words with annoyance.
"Oh! You're Danielle's childhood friend?" Hanni smiled widely, "Yes, this is George, he owns this cafe." Danielle said, George stood up and extended his hand to Hanni, "George Humbart."
Minji slapped the man's hand away, "Don't touch my wife."
George raised his eyebrows, was this woman also not sleeping well?
Hanni rubbed Minji's cheek, "Stop it, be nice, we're in his place." she whispered, she then smiled at George, "I'm Kim Hanni, this is Kim Minji, my wife. Thank you for welcoming us."
Hyein followed shortly after, carrying two plates of doughnuts, Yoona's eyes lit up. Hyein put the two plates on the table and was about to sit down, her eyes glanced at George, she immediately stood up again and bowed 90 degrees.
"Good afternoon Sir, you must be Miss Marsh's childhood friend. I'm Lee Hyein, Miss Kim's assistant and this is Seol Yoon A, my girlfriend." she said, George smiled at both of them, at least someone was still sane he thought.
Danielle drank her frappuccino, "Are you in a relationship right now?" her eyes lit up, her childhood friend was so handsome and respectful of others, there must be a lot of women crazy about him.
"Oh there is someone I like but she already has a partner." George smiled softly at Danielle, "Ohh I'm so sorry, I hope you can find someone else who is right for you." Danielle said with a concerned face.
"Thank you Dani, and I hope your relationship with Hemlin is always happy and goes well."
Haerin looked at the man expressionlessly, "My name is Haerin." she said.
"Oh I'm sorry..He..Hi Rin...how do you spell that?"
Minji let out a loud snort of laughter. Hyein was busy stuffing pieces of doughnut into her mouth to prevent her from laughing, she chewed slowly and didn't want to swallow it right away so she wouldn't choke.
Danielle giggled and spelled Haerin's name, George nodded in understanding, "So, how are Bruce and Pedro? Did they still like to fight?" he asked then, "Aahh, yes sometimes, but Bonito would soon break it up by head-butting their asses." Danielle clasped her hands together in front of her chest, looking like a proud mom.
Haerin scoffed.
"Miss Kang."
Haerin turned her head, Hyein extended her arm to the center of the table, "I found this yesterday, it seemed to have fallen when you were laughing." a small black velvet box in her hand.
All pairs of eyes were focused on it.
Haerin's eyes narrowed, trying to recognize it, she widened her eyes, quickly took the small box and put it into her pants pocket.
No one made a sound.
"Haerin." came Minji's voice, the cat-eye glanced at her, and saw a sly grin on her sister's lips. Her eyes then shifted frantically to Danielle, her lover looking at her with a curious look on her face but a glimmer of excitement in it.

Hanni straightened Minji up and stared at her, "What did you do with Haerin's ring?" she smiled sweetly, "I just exchanged it, it's in a safe place." Minji smiled widely, Hanni looked at Hyein, "Did you know about this?" she asked.
"I don't know anything I swear! Miss Kim said she only wanted to see it when I picked it up." Hyein bowed her head many times.
Haerin looked at Minji with her face bright red with annoyance, "You CRAZY DEVIL!" she jumped to the taller one.
Danielle immediately gave the code to Steve and Rufus to separate the two sisters. She rubbed her forehead, suddenly feeling a headache.
While Hanni bowed to George, apologizing for the commotion, and the man just smiled and said 'It's okay.' he glanced at Haerin and Minji who were being separated by Danielle's bodyguards.
