"I feel so ugly," I sighed.
"You're so beautiful," he said and kissed my nose. I had to believe him. Whenever I had a flare up, the way he looked at me didn't change.
"Can I please help you put on your ointment. You always hide from me when you have a flare up. I want to be close with you."
"Timothée, you're so sweet," I sniffled.
"I just love my girl," he said simply. He guided me into the bathroom. He grabbed the ointment and sat on the toilet and smacked his thigh with a goofy smile.
"Is that my seat?" I giggled.
"Yes," he nodded. I straddled his thigh.
"Here baby, let's soothe your lovely face," he said and began to massage the ointment into my skin.
"The only thing that bothers me about your flare ups is that it hurts you and makes you feel self conscious."
"Really?"
"Yeah of course, I love you more than anything. Why would acne change that?"
