It turned out felix needed to stay in the hospital for the next week for treatment, they had changed him into a hospital gown until we could get him some pjs from home. The poor boy was shitting himself with nerves, he had made us all promise we wouldn't leave him. We had to beg the doctors to let us stay with him so he didn't burst out into tears.
Minho on the other hand couldn't stop his tears from flowing , he stared at the breathing monitor
A couple of the boys were napping on one of the mattresses the doctors had given to us so we could sleep in the same room as lixie. The boys asleep were changbin hyunjin and jeongin, all piled up on one and other..
Jisung and seungmin were comforting minho who was sat right beside felix who was sleeping too due to an injection given to him by the doctor
I decided to walk over to the sleeping pile of boys and sit beside them , only only have jeongin reach his arm out to me " dad..." he mumbled tiredly " I'm scared "
I held his hand and rubbed his knuckles with my thumb soothingly "i know baby bread, we'll be okay though. Felix will be okay, itll all be okay "
" it won't be okay though dad, will it?" Seungmin piped up, all of us (who were conscious) looked their way
" what do you mean?" Asked jeongin
" it doesn't matter " they grumbled and looked back to their phone in frustration, clearly having given up on calming their mom which made me frown
" I'll be back innie, okay?" I hummed, he nodded then shut his eyes and burried his face in changbins chest once more as hyunjin laid his head on the small of his back
I walked over to seungmin and sat down beside them " hey dad " they muttered
" hey bug" I wrapped an arm around their shoulder " you okay?"
" yeah just....stressed" they hummed and rested their head kn my shoulder "sorry "
" don't apologise, no ones mad at you. We're all stressed baby" I rubbed their shoulder comfortingly
" yeah " they snuggled into my side
" you're not wearing your dress?" I said
" no, I had to change out of it so jeongin could re do the measurements for the new dress he's making me. It's so pretty" they giggled making me smile
" all that in the space of what, ten minutes? Minus the time jinnie was chasing you obviously " i chuckled
" Im good at quickchanging" they shrugged " me jinnie felix and jeonginnie all wanna work together some day, jeongin as a fashion designer, me as his model, hyunjin as our photographer and felix as our make-up artist"
" what about the others?" I asked
" I think we all know jisung and changbin are gonna go into music " they replied, i nodded in agreement " they're both so good at rapping , singing and everything. "
" All of you are" I said " all of you could go into music, do everything else you want on the side and get rich."
" I cant do singing....im not talented enough. I sound shitty, and I can't dance...I'm okay at rap though. I guess" they huffed
" you're fantastic, Kim seungmin " i reassured the teen " you're vocal skills are next level , I'm almost tempted to sign you all up to a kpop company"
" I'll go if the others wont" jisung giggled softly , i chuckled
" but that's all beside the point, you're allowed to be stressed bug. Okay?" I held them close
" okay dad" they smiled, the smile I adored so much " and I'll think about the whole kpop thing, seems fun. Could be a family buisness "
" I used to be a trainee at jyp entertainment, then minho came into my life and I dropped it all for him. So i could he close to him" I sighed happily
" why couldn't you be an idol and be with mom?" They frowned slightly
" dating rules, I would have to break up with him for three years. Plus I'd have no time for him, I still do producing. But, the whole music dream became second the second me and minho got together. He was my dream, not music anymore "
" ew" seungmin grimaced " cringy old man " they stuck their tounge out at me
" hey, respect your dad" I noogied them, they squealed
I was glad I was able to take everyone's mind off of the setting and the circumstances and cheer them up. The only thing I want is for them all to be happy.
