TANJIRO POV
After Matsuemon gave us our next mission, we headed for asakusa, Tokyo, as there is a rumor of demons lurking there.
Once we arrived, I was overwhelmed by how bright and crowded this place was, and all the new scents filled my nose.
Tanjiro: (cities have come a lot further than I expected. It's nighttime, but it's so bright)
I glanced at nezuko, who was looking quite sleepy, then I glanced at rimuru, who was looking around with an amazed expression.
We wandered around the city and saw many amazing things.
Rimuru's attention is all over the place, looking at the different restaurants wandering what each of their dishes taste like.
Rimuru: Hey tanjiro, that restaurant looks like it has a lot of good food
Raphael: master you must focus. we are here to track down a demon that's rumored to be spotted
Rimuru: Yeah, I know
Rimuru led the way I'm too overwhelmed by how crowded the city is.
At one point, nezuko and I got separated from rimuru and accidentally interrupted a couple in an alleyway. Thankfully, raphael was around and guided us back to rimuru.
Rimuru managed to guide us outside the city with raphael's help.
Rimuru: Hey tanjiro, are you sure you're ok?
Tanjiro: a little
Rimuru: How about we take a break? There's an udon cart right there.
Tanjiro: Yeah, udon sounds good.
After a few minutes our udon is finnished.
Vendor: Here are your orders. Let me know how you like it
Rimuru: Thank you
Tanjiro: Thank you very much
As we tried the udon, I suddenly picked up the familiar scent of a certain demon.
Rimuru: HEY TANJIRO CAREFUL, YOU DROPPEDYOUR BOWL!
I quickly ran torwards where the scent came from.
Tanjiro: (that scent! Why is it here, and why now?!)
RIMURU POV
After we got our udon, tanjiro started acting strange.
He suddenly stood up while dropping his bowl.
Rumuru: HEY TANJIRO CAREFUL, YOU DROPPED YOUR BOWL!
Tanjiro suddenly ran into the city.
Rimuru: Sheesh, what's up with him today?
After an hour of waiting, tanjiro returned, but when I asked him what happened, he explained that he found muzan kibutsuji and faced him alone.
Rimuru: YOU BLOCK HEAD!
I grabbed nezuko's box and bonked tanjiro in the head with the corner. Even though I held back so as not to break the box, the box was still intact.
Rimuru: Wow, this is one tuff box
After admiring the box's durability for a second, i returned my gaze to tanjiro, who is sitting in a seiza position.

Rimuru: YOU FOUND HIM AND THOUGHT IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO CHALLANGE HIM ALL BY YOURSELF! THAT'S STUPID ON SO MANY LEVELS! ONE WE'RE ONLY MIZUNOTO HE COULD'VE KILLD YOU! AND SECOND YOU COULD'VE GOTTEN INNOCENT BYSTANDERS KILLED!
Tanjiro: You're right. I'm sorry
Rimuru: And what's worse, you let your udon get cold. Wasting food is bad manners, so I had to eat it.
Tajiro: U-understood
Rimuru: raphael, why don't you go and report tanjiro's encounter
Raphael: Understood, i shall return once I've mde my report
As Raphael flew off, Tanjiro ordered two bowls of udon and scarfs it down, but then his face turned red then he breathed fire.
I secretly asked the vendor to make tanjiro's order extra spicy before tanjiro came back.
Rimuru: HAHAHAHAHA!
Tanjiro despite the intense heat from the udon's spiciness is determined to Finnish both of it as i kept laughing.
After tanjiro's mouth was not on fire, we decided to continue looking for the demon. Then suddenly, I saw a boy radiating a demonic aura.
As Nezuko and I stopped and got ready to fight, tanjiro stepped in.
Tanjiro: Wait, he's on our side
Rimuru: That glare of his says otherwise
Tanjiro: Trust me
I made a sharp sigh.
Rimuru: All right (this must be one of the demons tanjiro mentioned earlier)
I then glance at the demon.
Rimuru: So who are you and what do you want?
Yushiro: You may call me yushiro, and im here on her orders. I'm supposed to bring you three back with me
Tanjiro: You know, I could've just traced your scent
Yushiro: Our hideout is protected by a concealment spell. You'd never have found it
Rimuru: Don't underestimate tanjiro's nose, I can guarantee he can track you or your boss by their Odor.
After a bit of bickering, yushiro led us to their hideout, hidden behind a wall.
Once we walked through the wall, we were amazed that they've hidden a large mansion.
Rimuru: What the heck
Tanjiro: I could've sworn that street was a dead end
Yushiro: Pay attention. Now make sure you two don't offend the lady in any way
3RD PERSON POV
The four entered the building and made their way to a certain room.
Yushiro knocked on the door.
???: Come in
Yushiro opened the door and entered, followed by tanjiro, rimuru, & nezuko.
Yushiro: I've returned, my lady
as they entered the room, they were greeted by a woman.
???: I'm glad you made it
Both women looked at each other in surprise.
Rimuru had a feeling that the woman in front of them isn't human while the woman was eyeing her mask.
Rimuru: (This person must be the demon, and from what tanjiro said earlier, she is also a doctor)
Tanjiro: I'm sorry that I left everything to you to take care of
Rimuru noticed a woman unconscious on the bed.
Rimuru: Hey, is she ok?
???: do not worry, she'll make a full recovery. But her husband has to be locked up he's restrained in the basement
Rimuru: (oh right tanjiro did mention muzan turned someone into a demon to distract him)
Tanjiro: Isn't it difficult treating humans?
Yushiro got angry at tanjiro for his assumptions and was about to hit him when rimuru grabbed his arm.
The two glared at each other, causing sparks to fly.
Yushiro switched his attention back to tanjiro.
Yushiro: Is that what you think? She chokes back her own drool when treating humans? Because demons can't control themselves?
Rimuru: As much as I dislike yushiro, he has a point. I mean, nezuko here hasn't eaten any humans for 2 years
Tanjiro: Sorry
The doctor stood up.
???: yushiro, why would you resort to violence?
Yushiro looked at the floor in shame.
Rimuru: So anyway, my name is rimuru. This here is nezuko, and you've already met tanjiro, and who are you?
Tamayo: Yes, I suppose it's rude not to introduce myself. My apologies. My name is tamayo, and I hope you three could be friends
Rimuru and tanjiro glaced at yushiro, who is muttering to himself.
Tanjiro: (that seems unlikely)
Rimuru: (with his nasty attitude, I doubt it)
Tamayo: To answer your question...
Tamayo got rimuru and tanjiro's attention.
Tamayo: ...atleast not for me, but it's different for other demons. My body's physiology has gone through considerable changes, and I removed kibutsuji' curse
Rimuru: curse?
Tanjiro: What curse? And what kind of changes?
Tamayo walked through a door.
Tamayo: Come with me
They entered another room, nezuko lie on the floor.
Tanjiro: nezuko, that's rude
Tamayo simply chuckled at nezuko's behavior.
Nezuko started playing with her ability to grow and shrink.
Tamayo: It's all right, make yourselves at home. As I was saying, I made several adjustments to our bodies so we could continue to live without harming humans. We can survive just fine with a small amount of human blood
Tanjiro: Wait blood?
Rimuru: Really?
Tamayo: I understand if you both fund it distasteful, but we buy it from those in poverty
Rimuru: i see, and you use your position as a doctor so that people will willingly give you their blood without question

Tanjiro: (That would explain they don't have the same scent as normal demons, but they still need human blood)
Tamayo: In yushiro's case, he needs less blood than myself since I'm the one who turned him into a demon
Rimuru and tanjiro were both shocked while nezuko was still lying on the floor, playing with her ability to shrink and grow.
Tanjiro: Huh?
Rimuru: You turned him? How?
Tamayo: Well, as far as anyone knows, kibutsuji is the only one who can create demons, and that's more of less accurate. It took me 200 years just to figure out how to turn yushiro into a demon

Yushiro suddenly jabs tanjiro in the gut as rimuru lets it happen.
Yushiro then jabs tanjiro's throat multiple times, causing tanjiro to groan in pain
Rimuru: tanjiro, that's just plain rude
Tanjiro: Sorry
Tamayo: yushiro, if you hit tanjiro again, I'll make you regret it
Yushiro quickly returned to his seat as tanjiro held his throat in pain while coughing.
Nezuko could only glare at yushiro but was calmed down by rimuru patting her head.
Yushiro: YES, MA'AM! (she's beautiful, even when she's angry)
Tamayo: I'm sorry, but I'd like to clarify that making more demons isn't my goal, and I only did it when necessary. I usually ask those who won't survive if they want to live as a demon or die as a human in advance
Tanjiro: (her scent is pure. No sign of deception)
Rimuru glanced at tanjiro.
Tanjiro gave rimuru a nod, telling her that Tamayo could be trusted.
Rimuru: miss Tamayo, when someone becomes a demon, is there a way to turn them back again?
Tamayo: There is
Tanjiro: Then please tell us how--
As tanjiro was about to go closer to Tamayo to ask, yushiro pounced, trying to stop tanjiro.
Yushiro: YOU KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FROM--
as yishiro was about to grab tanjiro, rimuru puts on her mask and drew her sword, placing it at yushiro's throat without cutting him, and used her free hand to grab tanjiro by the forhead and pushed him away.
Rimuru: yushiro, I'm getting tired of your attitude, back off!
Ice cold words came out of rimuru's mouth as she emits a frightening aura, scaring tanjiro and yushiro.
They both went back to their seats, shivering in fear, as rimuru sheathed her sword.
Tanjiro: Sorry, rimuru
Tmayo: *sigh* I apologize for yushiro's behavior
Rimuru: it's fine, so could you please tell us
Tamayo: There's always some kind of medicine or aid, no matter the wound or ailment. I don't know how to turn a demon back into human yet, but there must be a way. And I promise we are going to find it, we are dedicated to finding and creating a treatment, torwards that end, I'd like to ask you both to do something for me.
Rimuru: What is it?
Tamayo: In order to discover a cure, the first step to create a cure is to study the blood of many demons, which means I have two favors to ask you both. First, I'd like permission to study nezuko's blood
Tamayo glaced at rimuru.
Tamayo: You mentioned that she hasn't eaten any humans for 2 years, correct?
Rimuru nods.
Rimuru: she has been sleeping to recover her energy instead of eating, she has also been put in some kind of hypnotic spell to make her see humans as family
Tamayo: other than the spell you mentioned, nezuko's contiton is quite rare, perhaps entirely unique, so I believe that her blood changed during that time and may be a key to turn demons back
Tamayo: Thank you, and the second, I need more samples and retrieve blood from demons closely related to kibutsuji as possible
Yushiro: (Lady Tamayo is as beautiful as ever. She'll be even more beautiful tomorrow)
Tamayo: however, the second request is possibly difficult to do as when I say "demons closely related to kibutsuji," I mean demons with powers such as those of kibutsuji himself the twelve kizuki What do you think? Are these requests acceptable, of not pleasant?
Tanjiro: If it's really the only way, then I'll do it
Rimuru: I have a score to settle with a certain demon anyway, so I'm in
Rimuru: If you could create this medicine, then it could also help wipe demons into extinction

Suddenly, yushiro sensed that one of his talismans was broken and rimuru felt the presence of a demon.
Rimuru & Yushiro: GET DOWN!
Everyone quickly got down while rimuru stood up and drew her sword as multiple temari smashed through the wall, bouncing all-over the place, breaking everything while kickingup dust.
Rimuru: (wind breathing third form clean storm wind tree)
Rimuru slashed multiple temari, but one of them got too close.
Rimuru: (SHIT! water breathing sixth form whirlpool)
Rimuru quickly spins to block the temari. However, the force of the ball has sent rimuru crashing to the wall, breaking her leg.
Tanjiro: RIMURU!
As the temari flew outside the building, laughter came heard.
