Josh's POV

I was trying to fall back to sleep, not wanting to wake Lynna up. I pulled my body closer to hers, nestling my face into her neck. I was wrapped around her body, her being the 'little spoon.' I couldn't quite explain the comfort I felt with her, it was like a home that you had been waiting for all your life. We had only begun this, but I knew it would be worth every moment, there was going to be nothing else like this.

I woke up to her moving around, much to my dismay. I wanted to lay with her for the rest of the day, do nothing else.

"Do you want me to move?" I mumbled, struggling to say words.

"I have to go to the bathroom." She whispered, sounding just as tired as I was. I lifted my arms off her, allowing her to leave. The moment she left, I felt half of the warmth leave my body.

I stayed wrapped in the sheets until she came back, moving to let her back in the bed. She climbed in, facing me this time. I smiled as I pulled her closer to me, knowing I could look at her face all day. She reached her hand to my face, lightly caressing my face.

"Where are Jake and Danny?" She asked after a moment.

"Probably breakfast." I hummed, knowing they woke up earlier than us. I wasn't worried either, they were capable of handling themselves. We continued to look at each other, I'm not sure for how long.

"Is there anything we have planned for today?" She asked. I took a moment to realize she was talking, I was lost looking at her.

"Um, there's not anything in specific." I said. "But, I was thinking, maybe you and me could spend the day together? Find things to do, enjoy the time we have left."

"That sounds lovely." She smiled, making my heart skip a beat. She always managed to do that, she made my heart race. She affected every part of me, I loved it. "When do you want to do all of that?"

"Mhm...not right now." I smiled. "Let's just stay here for a little while."

I could see the slightest shade of red touch her cheeks, as if she didn't know I liked her. I found it kind of amusing how flustered she got, even after knowing I very obviously liked her. I wished she knew just how much I liked her, I wasn't sure she truly knew. I needed her to know, I needed her to stay with me.

I was getting dressed while Lynna went to her room to get ready. I was excited, purely from knowing that I was about to hangout with her.

"So, what are your plans with her today?" Jake asked, knowing I was probably planning something.

"Well, destination wise, I'm not sure. But, my main objective is to convince her to stay, not go home." I said.

"Do you think it'll work?" Jake asked. "I mean, I know she wants to, but she's got everything back home."

"I know, it won't be cut and dry, she can't pack up and leave. I just want her to stay a little longer, or come back and go with us on tour." I said. "You guys wouldn't be totally against it, right?"

"Of course not." Jake answered, not even seeming to debate it. Sammy and Danny both nodded in agreement. "We love Lynna."

"And, you yell at me a lot less when she's here." Sammy added, a little bitter.

"Exactly." I said, agreeing with his statement. "That's why I'm trying to convince her, I don't want her to go."

"I believe in you." Jake said. "If you're persistent enough you can make anyone agree just so you'll be quiet."

"Thank you, Jake." I nodded, choosing to take that in a positive way.

"You look gorgeous." I complimented as she walked towards me. She blushed once again, taking a moment to respond.

"Thank you, Josh." She smiled. I took a second to kiss her, not seeing why I shouldn't. I took her hand to lead her out of the hotel. "Is it going to be another day where we drive til we find something interesting?"

"I think so." I nodded. "I'm sure we can find something, this is a big city."

"Do you wanna drive?" She asked as we neared the parking lot. "I got my fulfillment of driving in the city yesterday."

"Sure." I shrugged, not minding driving. We made it to her car, setting off for nowhere. She played music, specifically the cd she got yesterday. She sang along, not having a terrible voice herself. It was times like these, I struggled not to look at her in awe. There was nothing about her I would change, I wanted her and everything that came with.

"What about there?" I asked, pointing to a storefront.

"That looks absolutely perfect." She smiled, excited once she realized what it was. It was a used book store, I seemed to like those better than buying them brand new. She dragged me into the store, eager to browse.

It didn't take long for her to find a few books, immediately showing her finds to me.

"Just kids, by Patti Smith." She smiled, showing it to me. "And, a mythology book, I love mythology."

"I might borrow that one." I said, pointing to the mythology one.

"Have you not found anything yet?" She asked, noticing my empty hands.

"We've only been here for a few minutes." I laughed. "Plus, I can just borrow the books you get."

"That's a fair point." She nodded, turning on her heels and leaving to find more books. I knew she'd like this, it was cute to just watch her look around at all the books. Towards the end, I followed her around like a lost dog, simply observing her looking. She ended up with another book, 'girl with a pearl earring.' We had spent close to an hour in there, looking at all of the books, it was a huge bookstore.

We checked out, her already wanting to read her new books.

"I'm already reading two right now, I can't start another one til I finish those." She sighed. "If I don't finish them, I never will."

"You know, we have a decent amount of downtime when we're touring, it'd be the perfect time for you to read your books." I smiled, leaning towards her as if it would convince her more.

"Do you really, or are you just trying to get me to stay?" She asked, a knowing look on her face.

"Truthfully, we do get times that are perfect for reading some pages of a book." I said. "But, for the most part, I want you to stay."

"I like how much you want me to stay." She grinned. "Makes me feel like I'm important."

"If that's how you need to feel, so be it." I said. "I will do anything to woo you over."

"You're fairly desperate sounding." She laughed, causing me to let out an offended scoff. "It's cute, don't get me wrong."

"You know what, I don't even care." I shrugged, choosing to not fuss over it. "I am desperate."

"Okay, hypothetically, what would I do for money if I stayed?" She asked. "I would still want to have some form of money, not be dried out when I go back to normal life."

"Well, you could see your art." I suggested, having already thought about it. "Oh, and that reminds me, mom wants to talk with you. She talked to that lady at the art gallery, you are probably gonna get to meet the lady. I guess she really liked your pieces."

"Really?" She asked astonished, looking fairly impressed. She truly did not see how good her art was, it was baffling.

"Yeah, mom said she was going to text you some details about it." I smiled. "They pay you for every piece there, you could make a decent bit of money."

"That would be really cool, Frankie would love it." She said, I could see the excitement building inside her. "But, I don't have very much pieces I want to part with just yet."

"If you went on the road with us, you could pursue your art more. It would give you so much more scope for the imagination, there's no telling what you could do." I said. "You could help us out too, we're trying to breach more into the artistic side of our music, we could use someone who can actually bring the ideas to life."

"That would be really cool." She nodded, considering it more as I spoke. "Helping you guys would be really fun, you guys have such a wide variety of ideas."

"See, it could be a win-win situation." I grinned, lightly bumping into her.

"Would you not get bored of me after so long?" She asked, trying to play with me. "I only have so much ideas."

"I promise, I will never get bored of you. I don't know where we go from here, but it won't be boring." I said, making sure she knew how much I meant it.

"Well, I don't think it's ever going to be boring with you." She said. "I just think you have the most beautiful mind, I don't know if I'd be able to keep up."

"Lynna, you have the most wonderful mind, most wonderful soul I have met, I could tell when I met you." I smiled, wrapping my arm around her to pull her closer. "When I saw you showing up to our shows, drawing us, I fell for you so quick. I don't even know if 'falling' for you is appropriate, it's more like I tripped."

The analogy made her giggle, only pushing me to keep speaking.

"What I am really trying to say, is that I want you to trust me." I said carefully, trying to get my words right. "I'll make sure everything works out for you, you could even move in with us after if you needed to, I'll do anything."

"Frankie already offered to let me move in if the time came." She laughed. "And, I understand what you're saying. It's beginning to work, even if I try to fight it off."

"I'm offended you want to fight it off." I smiled, trying to sound actually offended.

"You'll be fine." She smiled, waving her hand as if to swat the thought away. We made it to her car, I climbed in the driver seat once again. "When do you think your mom will reach out to me?"

"I'm not sure." I said. "I could ask her if you'd like me to."

"Well, I don't want to rush her or anything." Lynna said quickly, obviously nervous at the prospect. "Just whenever she gets around to it is totally fine."

"I'll mention it to her, she likes you, she probably wants to talk to you anyways." I said. "You made quite the impression on her."

"Really?" She smiled, looking relieved to hear it. "I was so nervous she'd hate me."

"I've never known my mom to hate people. Either way, she really liked you. She thought you were very kind." I said. "She also felt bad because she could tell how nervous you were."

"Oh my god, that's so embarrasing." Lynna groaned, letting her hand cover part of her face.

"Hey, it helped you out, she could tell how much you cared about it." I laughed, pulling her hand from her face. I tangled my fingers in her, letting our hands rest on the armrest. We stopped talking for a while, letting the music fill the empty spaces.

We ended up spending most of the time driving around, us both being fine with it. Eventually, we made our way back to the hotel, it being close to the afternoon. It was a fitting time, I needed to go over some things with the guys. We wanted to mess with the music a bit before tomorrow, plan out more things.

At the hotel room, the guys were already grouped and ready to work on lyrics. I used the restroom before returning to the room, Lynna finding the spot I was going to use. I debated my options for a moment before deciding on one. I walked towards her, picking up her legs. She moved them back, thinking I simply wanted her to move. I pulled gently pulled her legs back, propping them over my thighs. She smiled, sending a tiny thrill through me. I loved when she smiled at me.

We got some work done, trying to fix little things as we spoke. There was a lot more bickering, joking, things like that. Lynna and Frankie added on to everything, teaming up on Sammy at times. We talked for what felt like hours, simply letting the energy control everything. Lynna was gorgeous, I was constantly looking to her, amazed every time.

I felt the impending departure of Lynna and Frankie looming in my thoughts. I didn't want her to leave yet, I didn't want her to leave at all. I hoped I had managed to persuade her even the tiniest bit over the past two days. When I was around her, I felt like I was at home. I felt homesick without her, it was a terrible feeling. I wanted her to be in the crowd while we played, hangout backstage with us, lay next to her in the bed at night, there was so many things I wanted for us.

Lynna meant so much to me, she had changed so much in my life in less than a year. I wanted to love her, for her to love herself the way I do. I would be lost without her.
