I didn't sleep last night. Well, I actually did, but for about 3 hours, how does Kit sleep at night? I can never. At around 6 o'clock, Kit wakes up to me moving around. He lifts his head up and looks at me
"You alright?" he asks
"Yeah, I'm just really excited,"
"I know, but it's early try and go back to sleep." I say, laying back down
"When can we get up?" I ask
"What time did the bloke say we can pick one up?" he says with his eyes closed
"Uh, anytime from 9am to 8pm"
"Where is it?" he says, half asleep
"I think he said in Sawbridgeworth,"
"Okay," he yawns
"So what time can we get up?"
"Eight"
"Aw, that's so long, though." I groan
"You get up, then, I'm tired."
"Fine then, old man,"
"I'm older than you by a month," he chuckles
I get some clothes, and I walk into the bathroom and take a quick shower, I take off my transtape and get in the shower, I do my routine wash my hair once, then my upper body, wash my hair again, then my lower body and wash my hair for a final time before getting out of the shower.
I wrap a towel around me, and I dry off, I put some new transtape on, and i quickly get dressed in a green sweatshirt and some brown dungarees, and I go downstairs and eat some cornflakes, I wash up and then I go up to the spare bedroom, which is just a empty room with a vivarium and thats it
I know I'm getting a snake today, so I decided that I'll set up its vivarium, I cleaned that tank, and then I set up all the heat lamps and heat pads, Uv and all the lighting and get the temperature right. I put some aspen in the bottom for the base, and I put three hides, a water bowl and a couple of rocks, plants, and a bit of wood, and it looks amazing. Overall, it took a few hours, and I looked at the time, and it was nearly nine.
I walk into me and kits room, and kit is still asleep, I crawl onto him and wake him up
"Kitkat"
"Hm,"
"Kit, wake up."
"What?" He says, lifting his head up
"It's now nine. You said you would get up an hour ago and wake up. I want my snake now. "
"Okay, okay, I'm up,"
"Okay, get your ass in the shower now, and get ready,"
"You are so annoying." He laughs
"I know." I smile
Kit gets up and gets in the shower, then comes out in some black jeans and a red hoodie, we go downstairs, and kit gets some breakfast
"Kitkat"
"What?"
"Your hairs still damp," I say, playing with it
"Well, I had a shower. Of course, it's wet,"
"Sarcasm?"
"Mhm."
Kit finishes his breakfast, and he sits in the living room looking at his phone, I walk over to him and sit on his lap and i take his phone out of his hand and put it on the coffee table
"Can we go now?" I ask. " It's almost ten, I've waited four hours."
"Well, I can check train times if I can have my phone back."
I get up and give kit his phone back, and he looks at the train times
"There is a train at half past ten, so we can make our way now,"
"Yay, thank you, kitster, for letting me get a snake," I say, hugging him
"You're welcome."
We get up, and we put on our shoes, and we leave holding hands and making our way to the train station. Kit buys the tickets, and we both get a coffee
"What platform are we on?" I ask
"Uh, platform 3"
We make our way to the platform, and we sit down waiting for the train
"Kit, it's too loud. I don't like it, " I say, covering my ears
"Do you want your ear defenders?"
I nod
Kit takes them out of his bag and puts them on
"Better?"
"Yeah," I say, leaning on his shoulder
About ten minutes later, the train comes
"Come on," i say to kit, pulling his hand
"Can I stand up?" he laughs
He stands up, and I basically run onto the train with Kit following behind, we sit down, and the train starts moving
"Kitkat"
"Yeah."
"How long is it until we are at Sawbridgeworth?"
"Half an hour."
"That's sooooo long,"
"Just think that's half an hour until you meet your snake."
"Kit say something in french."
"Oui"
"Why do you say it like that?" I laugh
"I don't know, you say something in Italian,"
"No."
"Go on, just one sentence then,"
"Fine, kit sei così bello che voglio baciarti in faccia ogni secondo"
"What does that mean?"
"Google it." I laugh
"Nooooo tell me"
"Fine, it means, 'kit, you are so handsome i want to kiss your face every second'"
Kit starts blushing, and he looks around the train and then looks back at me
"Well, there is no one here, so maybe you can."
I move to kits lap, and we both know that this isn't a good idea, kissing in public, but I think we are both desperate, our lips find each other, and we kiss softly, kit stops then looks up at me
"Can, I kiss your neck," he asks
"Fuck yeah"
Kit leans over to my neck and kisses it softly, then kissing it harder, warm ripples fill my stomach.
"Kit, stop, I need to calm down," I beg
Kit moves his head away from my neck
"Sorry, I think we both go a bit carried away." We both laugh
I move back to my seat, and I lean on kits chest, and he holds me close
"Kitster, how long is it until we are at Sawbridgeworth?"
"Um, about five minutes."
"Yay,"
We arrive at Sawbridgeworth, and we both get off the train, and we walk to the cafe holding hands
"Do you want a drink?" Kit asks
"Uh yeah,"
"What do you want,"
"Yeah, a tea with three sugars,"
"Okay, I'll be back in a minute, " he says, then gives me a quick kiss on the cheek
I sit outside waiting for Kit to come back, then a young boy and an older girl walk up to me
"Uh, are you river seabrook?" The girl asks
"Uh yeah,"
"Can we get a photo with you?" She asks
"Oh um sorry I dont really like taking photos with people when I'm on my own." I say
"Oh okay," the boy says, and they walk off
Kit comes out of the cafe and gives me my drink
"Who were you talking to?" he asks
"They were just some kids who are fans wanting to take photos." I smile
"Okay, ready to make our way,"
"YAY, SNAKES," I shout
"Fucking hell, please give me a warning when you do that"
I laugh
we hold hands and we walk over to the snake breeders. We find where it is, and we knock on the door,
"Hello, you must be river, I'm tony."
"Hello," I say
"Hi, I'm Rivers boyfriend kit," he says, shaking Tony's hand
"Ah, so you okay with having a snake in your house? You don't find many couples willing to do that." Tomy laughs
"Yeah, well, he's been asking about one for months now," Kit laughs
"Come on in, boys." He says
We walk in, and it looks like a normal house, but just will old vivariums everywhere,
"So river, you wanted to have one of the newly hatch banana ball pythons"
"Um yes please"
"Okay, just in here, they have their own vivarium now, so you can have a look at all of them," he says, taking us I to a room full of small vivariums "so these one are the banana morths and they are all feeding on two frozen pinkies every 7 days"
Me and Kit have a look at all of them
"So you boys had fun last night." Tony laughs
Me and Kit stand up and look at him, confused
"River your neck," he points
I pull out my phone and turn on the camera and look, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck. Why did this have to happen now
"Sorry Tony, me and kit will be back in a minute," I say, grabbing Kit by the arm and dragging him outside
I look at him, and he looks at me
"What?" he asks
"Look" I say pointing at my neck "you gave me a fucking hickey on the train"
"It's probably not, maybe you banged your neck in something"
"No its not its a hickey kit"
"Look come here, let me see" Kit says
He tilts my head so he can look at my neck, he let's go of my head and looks at me
"River I am so so sorry I didn't mean for that to happen"
"It's fine, I think we shouldn't kiss like that in public, save that for when we are at home" I say hugging him
"Wanna go back inside" he asks
"Yeah"
Me and Kit walk back inside and we have one more look at the snakes before I picked one out
"Kit look" I say pulling him over "I want this one"
"Yeah"
Kit tells Tony that we picked one and he puts him in a little box and gives us a bag of pinkies before we leave, we walk over to the cafe holding hands and kit stops
"Do you want to get a train or cab back"
"Taxi, it will be quicker"
"Okay, I'll just call them up"
Kit calls the taxi place and the taxi comes and we get in
"Where to?"
"London" I say
The cabby starts driving then looks in the review mirror
"Your both them famous boys from that heartstoppers, my granddaughter loves that"
"Oh uh yeah we are"
"Whats in the box"
"Oh it's our pet snake we got"
The cabby carrys on driving and by the time we get home he has told us his whole life story
"Cheers mate, how much" I ask taking out my wallet
"It's on the house" he smiles
"You sure" we ask
"Yeah go on, you boys will go through a hard time, with all that acting and what not"
"Uh thanks" Kit says
We both get out of the car and kit unlocks the door and we both walk in
"So how you feeling now you have your snake" Kit smiles
"Really happy" I smile
"Take him upstairs, and put him in his new tank, I'll put the mice in the freezer"
I walk upstairs and put the box on the floor and sit down when I realise I need scissors
"KITTTT" I call
"what"
"Can you get some scissors"
I hear him coming upstairs
"Here" he says handing them to me
"Can you open it I don't want to accidentally cut him"
Kit sits down and opens it and I pick him up
"Look at him" I say
"He's actually quite cute"
"I knowwww" I say
"What you going to call him"
"Hmm, koda" I smile
"That's a cool name"
I stand up and I put him in his tank and I smile
"Guess we're dad's now" I giggle
"Woahhh no not yet, give it a few years" Kit laughs
I push kit over so he lying down and I lay on top of him
"Carry on where we was before on the train" I say seductively
"Okay but we can't let koda see any of this"
We both stand up and I was going to start walking when kit suddenly picks me up and basically runs to our room and drops me in the middle of the bed and crawls over me and he looks down at me,
"God your so handsome" Kit says moving my hair out of my eyes before he kisses me hard
We start making out, each other stopping to look at one another, I wrap my arms around kit and pulling him down so he laying on me, we roll over so I'm on top of kit now and I put my hand up his hoodie and kit has his hands on my upper back and he moves one of his hands from my back to my ass.
we both break away, panting, and then we both look at each other and start laughing
"I think that is one of the best make-out sessions we have ever had." Kit says
"Agreed."
We start kissing again, and I move from his lips to his neck
"Payback," I say against his skin
I start kissing his neck like there is no tomorrow. Kit starts breathing heavily
"Riv, stop."
I move away from his neck, and I look at him
"I need a break, I gotta calm down," he says
"Okay, that's fine," I smile, and I lie down next to him
"God, no one has ever made me feel this way." he laughs
And it's true, no one has ever made me feel like this, but knowing kit has brought so much joy into my life, I think we are soulmates the definition of Nick and Charlie
