"Good morning"
I tore my eyes away from the waffles I was making as my boyfriend walked towards me. "Hi"
"Why are you up so early?" Ellington questioned me, putting his robe on me as goosebumps surfaced. "It's only 7:30"
"They all have their alarms set for 8, so figured I should start now" I shrugged, him planting a light kiss on my lips. "Why were Rocky and Ross up so late last night?"
Ell passed me more ingredients. "They were writing a song- a duet even. For us"
"The fandom would go insane" I chuckled. "But I would like that"
"Yeah I would like it too" he nodded. "What are we doing today?"
"Rehearsals mainly"
He wrapped his arms around me as I moved to the stove. "We barely have time for each other, and it's about to get worse with tour"
"I know" I nodded. "Maybe we could go grab some sushi together when we have a break"
"Anything with food then I'm in!" he said excitedly, causing me to laugh.

"How did I already know you would pick sushi?" I looked at Ell, who had a smug grin on his face.
"Because it's our thing- Rocky has Mac & Cheese, Riker has Hamburgers, Ross just eats whatever and well, we like sushi" he pulled the chair for me. "And it reminds me of our first date"
"Aww" I commented, looking at the menu. "I think I'll just get the usual"
"Alrighty" he said and beckoned over a waitress that took our orders. Not even 15 minutes, and our food was prepared.
I picked up my chopsticks, to grab a California Roll. As I did so, I watched Ell fail horribly. "Hold it like this"
He tried to copy my actions, but then failed again. "You know what?!" He dropped one of the sticks and stabbed the other into his own roll. At this point my stomach was hurting because of my laughter. "There!"
"You are such a goof"
"But you love me" he winked. I instantly blushed, but nodded. "It's difficult to not love the dimples"
"Y'know"
I picked up one of my Hosomaki rolls and guided it to his mouth. "There you go"
"Hey, feel free to feed me if you-" he checked his phone, then celebrated. "Rehearsal's been cancelled- up to further this date?"
"What do you mean?"
"Doing something after this"
"What do you suggest"
"Ideas that cannot be said in public"
"ELLINGTON!" I exclaimed and reached over to slap his arm as he giggled.
"Kidding. How about a movie or something? Does that sound good for you?" He squeezed my hand.
I grinned. "Sounds perfect"
