A few days later they finally arrived at the village. They all reports the mission together to the Hokage. The Hokage seems not satisfied with the outcome and they are told to leave the room and that they will have a week off.
Kakashi walk to Ino's house and knocked only to be open by Inoichi.
Shocking Kakashi but greet him nonetheless "Good afternoon, Inoichi-sama"
"Oh Kakashi, it's you . Ino is not back from her mission yet .Do you want to come in?"
"O-oh sure" Kakashi said nervously because he have never been in her house alone .
"Are you just got back from your mission?" Asked Inoichi to Kakashi in the living room
"Hai, Inoichi-sama "
"Please don't call me with -sama, you're already like a family to me"Inoichi said waving his hand
"That's right " A new voice come in the living room "We already see you as our own son or.... son-in-law" Inoichi's wife said teasingly at the last part at Kakashi while putting the tea she make on the coffee table.
Making Kakashi blush and Inoichi laugh at Kakashi shyness.
"Yeah, that's true Kakashi. Just call us Kaa-sama and Tou-sama from now on" Inoichi said after his laugh have cool down
"Hai" Kakashi said nervously
"Hai.....?" Ino's mom asked
"H-hai Tou-sama, Kaa-sama" Kakashi said , making Inoichi and his wife smile satisfied.
They chat and Kakashi have a dinner with them, after coming back to his house for a while to take a bath .
Just when they are ready for dinner. There's a knocked on the front door.
"Let me open the door" Kakashi said and walk to the front door. As he open it , he is shock to see Ino. "Ino-chan?"
To say Ino is shock is understandable "Kakashi?" She thought 'What is he doing here? It's already late'
"Oh I'm here for dinner"
Ino's eyebrows shots up "Oh that's nice, let me take a bath first" Ino said while walking upstairs slowly
"Em Ino-chan? Are you okay? What happened?" Kakashi asked concern looking at her bandages ankle
"Oh it's nothing, It's just a sprained ankle"Ino said waving off her hand
"Let me help you walk upstairs " with that he lifted her bridal style and walk to the kitchen to inform her parents
"K-kakashi! Wh-what are you doing?! " Ino asked embarrassed avoiding her parents stares
"It's Ino, she have a sprained ankle. So I will help her to go upstairs" Kakashi said to Ino's parents, ignoring Ino's protest.
The scenes only make Ino's parents laugh and Ino's mom said to Ino "Okay, after dinner I will massage your ankle okay? "
"O-okay ..." Ino said embarrassed and hide her face on the crooked of Kakashi's neck , making Kakashi chuckle
"Please hurry get ready Ino, we will wait for you. We will eat dinner together "
"Hai, Tou-san" Ino said while still hiding her face on the crooked of Kakashi's neck, making Kakashi shiver a little
Kakashi take her upstairs and wait outside her room while reading his book.
A few minutes later Ino come out with her pyjamas.
When Kakashi see Ino , his eyes getting darker a little but he quickly shook his head.
"Are you done?"
"Hai"
Just when he about to lifted her , she said
" wait! wait! How about we just walk downstairs slowly"
"Are you sure?" Kakashi asked, hoping she would say no
"Yes"
"*Sigh* okay " Kakashi take hold of her hand and wrap an arms around her shoulder. Ino is blushing and trying not show her face by looking down.
Unfortunately for her, Kakashi already see her blushing face and seems to be satisfied and smirking.
After a few minutes, they finally arrived at the dining table and they eat together peacefully while chatting something light and for once not something about village's problem.
" Me and your father tell Kakashi to call us Tou-sama and Kaa-sama" Ino's mom said, drinking her tea
"Ha?! What! Are you serious? Why?"Ino asked wide eye at her parents.
Kakashi only eat quietly while looking down, avoiding Ino's gaze and blush faintly.
"We see him as our own and he will be our son-in-law right? I don't see any problem in that " Inoichi shrugged drinking his coffee and smirk at his daughter
"To-Tou -san ! I'm only 18!"
"Well .. Kakashi is not getting younger , he is already 31 ,and if I count correctly, in my opinion your age for you guys get married is 20, so at that time Kakashi will 33. He will not sounds too old and you will be not too young to get married too. I don't see any problem, right honey?"Inoichi seriously thinks
"That's right, you guys already get our approvals" Ino's mom said approved.
"Tou-san... Kaa-san *sigh*" Ino sigh at her parents
Kakashi choke on his broth "wh-what already?!"eye widen, luckily he is quick to cover his face with his mask
"Yes but we are okay with you guys opinion too. It's just our thoughts tho" Inoichi smile slyly at his daughter and Kakashi
Before anyone can get the chance to say anything else there's a knocked on the front door.
Inoichi sigh and said "let me get it this time"
The others continue eating with Ino side eyeing her mother who only continues to eat happily and Kakashi just keeps eating while looking down at his food.
A few minutes later, Inoichi came back and said "Honey,we need to get ready. We have a meeting in an hour "
Ino's mom only sigh and mumble something incoherent but get ready anyway.
While Ino's parents get ready, Ino and Kakashi continue eating and clean the dishes together
While they are cleaning, Ino's parents come to the kitchen before going to the meeting to inform them that they will likely will be back in midnight and Kakashi are invited to sleep at their guest room .
After they done cleaning, they lay together on the big sofa.
"Today sure are tiring" Ino said while massaging her ankle and use her medical ninjutsu while sitting up.
"Do you want me to massage it for you?" Kakashi asked while still laying beside her
"Oh no no it's okay, it's already feel better after I use chakra to heal it "
"okay..."
"So...how was your mission? Does it go well?" Bandaging her ankle
Kakashi sighed while looking up at the ceiling "No, it's a failure. We didn't even got to see Itachi or even Sasuke. When we are getting close to the location an Akatsuki member were fighting us and it was waisting our time .When he let us go, we were too late. The only thing left is the distroyed place caused of their fight but we are sure that Sasuke killed Itachi.The Akatsuki member told us that. But you know what? It was a shock to me when I see a sharingan behind his mask, the right side. But we still not sure if he has sharingan on both of his eyes or not. Ugh I feel like a failure" Kakashi said frustrated and disappointed in his voice
"Another sharingan user? We must be more careful with them then and hey ... you're not a failure okay, I know you already try your hardest. I'm proud of you"
"P-proud?" Kakashi said not trusting what he just heard
"As long as i'm alive, you'll always have someone who's proud of you in everything" Ino gives him a wink
"Really?"Kakashi look at her in disbelieve
"Yeah" Ino nodded and smile at him
Kakashi sits up and looks at her "Ino, i have a confession to tell you. You're the first person who truly made me feel safe and loved, you make me truly happy, you make me laugh and smile. To me, you're the most gorgeous, amazing, funniest, caring, loving, sweetest person in the whole entire universe. It's like i can talk to you for hours, even days and you would never get bored and you would actually listen. i can talk to you about anything and you would never judge me. I think about you day and night. You're always on my mind no matter what i'm doing. I love to hear your voice and your laugh. I know i could be a little annoying or a mess, but you're still here for me and i thank you so much for that. I don't know how i got so lucky but i did and this relationship is something that i would never ever regret. I love you so so much and i think you should know that. I love you , Ino Yamanaka "
"Oh ... Kakashi " Ino said with a teary eyes and hug him tightly
Kakashi pull back and said "You..you didn't say it back " looking at her nervously
"Oh-oh sorry.."Ino laugh a little and said "of course I love you too "
Kakashi sigh in relief and look into her eyes asking for permission
Ino nodded but asked "But... how about your mask?"
"I will let you open my mask" and take her hand and put it to his cheeck
"B-but ...you don't have to Kakashi.." Ino pull her hand back , only for Kakashi to hold it with his hand and put it on his cheek again.
"It's okay, Ino-chan...I want you to be my first real kiss" Kakashi said reassuringly
"Okay..." Ino said and pull his mask down "Wow ...you have a gorg-" Ino didn't even get the chance to finish her sentence before she feels his lips collided with hers.
Kakashi pull Ino closer by holding her neck and Ino pull him by holding her arms around his neck. The kiss really felt soft and care for each other. Before they can go further, they pull back and catch a deep breath.
"Wow..." Kakashi said while looking at Ino in amazement "that feels so great "
"Yeah .." Ino said blushing
Kakashi pull her to him and hug her tightly "I will marry you one day, just like your parents say, Ino-chan. I promise"
"I will remember your promise" Ino said while looking into his eyes and pull him into another kiss
They both fall asleep besides each other on sofa, causing her parents who are just got back from their meeting to shake their heads at them and put a blanket around them.
