(Alien x Reader)

They didn't come in a rain of fire, or storm of bullets, or even the march of armies. Because they never came. It was slowly at first, the list of missing persons a steady growth in recent years not making anyone's concerns. Not until the first "witness" was reported as crazy for the supposed sighting of a UFO and strange creatures stealing his wife from their front yard.

Of course, the first one might actually be crazy, the police upon further investigation discovered he had a history of substance and domestic abuse and she may have just run away at last. The second and third sightings however were where it started getting a little weirder.

Second sighting stated a monster, glowing and at least half metallic in the dark of night and moon took two men in a glow of golden light. Third one most people believed because she got a picture as her friends were taken, recording a cute picnic moment between the three of them from the bottom of the hill when suddenly a man steps up behind them. This man is not human, his skin is nearly an olive green, deep and rich in color. But on top, or rather within, is what looks like gold or a shining copper melted and forged into his skin. It covered the man's shoulders and biceps, chest shining beneath the bare light before it's met with leather wrapped around his mid section. His hand is lifted showing the same strange metal on his palm before the video goes to shit.

After the third account and too many missing persons reports the government issued a temporary curfew, determined to hunt down the aliens or people responsible for the disappearances. Except, it didn't work. There were more disappearances by the day, all of them from 17 to 30 years of age, male and female, no linking factors besides that. The world is on high alert for what many consider the beginning of the end.

Only, maybe it really wasn't the end of the world, just the end of yours and a couple hundred other people.

You didn't remember much from actually being taken. It was fast, you were standing in the observatory working on the charts for your dissertation when the door opened. You didn't bother looking, you knew it was one of your fellow suffering students trying to use the lab for one reason or another.

"What are you working on so late?" The voice wasn't one you recognized but that wasn't necessarily new, there were quite a few working there and you definitely didn't know all of them.

"Tonight's chart, I forgot to compare the star rise to yesterday's so now I have to do it by hand because the stupid computer stopped working about an hour ago. So if you plan to use it you might as well give up." The mumble was from around the tip of your pen, eyes not moving afraid you might lose track of what you had already tracked by hand.

"I wasn't planning on using the computer. " Frowning slightly you pause your pen over the paper, marking the small impurity on the camera or what might have been a new body, but you would have to check again with tomorrow's images. Rubbing your eyes with a groan you try to turn and look at this guy interrupting your work.

"What are you here for then?" If he was trying to use the scope he was out of his mind because no one was moving that thing while you were working on it.

"I am here for you sweetheart." What you were faced with. Was not human. His face was human enough, but his right eye was a pool of golden metal, beautiful carved and matching his other eye perfectly except in color. That half of his face was entirely made of a golden plate, hinged at his jaw and perfectly formed to match the left side of his face.

"Wh-what. . " It is only a squeak that leaves your mouth as you stare in your seat at the man? He wasn't human, even if he was clearly male in appearance. His own mouth slides into a slow smile, leaning forward he cages you in the chair. His hand clicked metal on metal, making you look at the mechanical device replacing his arm. But it melded so seamlessly with his flesh, like golden tattoos marching up his arm in cyberpunk fashion. You only got to where it met his shoulder before your eyes turned to his face once more.

He was watching you study him, lip curling into a look that almost seemed pleased with how you studied him so intently. "Like what you see?"

You tried not to blatantly stare at that golden eye, noticing that the very center is not empty, but has a green light. With the level of technology that made up the man's hand, he probably had some crazy x-ray vision or something else in that eye. "What are you?"

"I am an Aurumlite, but you may call me Sable."

With your focus on his face you jumped out of your skin when his metal hand grabbed your arm. It was surprisingly warm against your skin, like even the metal was alive.

"Easy sweetheart, everything will be just fine." He murmurs, leaning forward as you pull back into the seat, not like you could do anything against this alien regardless. "Just relax it will be over in a moment."

Confusion washes over you. "What will be ove. . " You are cut off as shocks rock your body, spasming until finally darkness consumes you.

After that you woke up in this room. It was not what you had imagined for an alien abduction that was certain. No shiny table and stabby instruments, not a hulking evil scientist or millions of screams as humans were sacrificed to their technology.

It was metal largely, the floors panels of silver melding seamlessly with the walls in panels of matte. It didn't reflect the soft light emanating from the entire ceiling. Shockingly it wasn't too bright even if it caused almost no shadows, just a glow like a soft sun shrouded by clouds.

Your clothes, good or bad, were the same. Slightly dirty but not too bad, the not so great thing was the odd feeling surging all over your body. That pinprick feeling like your foot had fallen asleep but it was your entire body. Very unpleasant overall as you tried to move making it worse.

"Good morning sweetheart, enjoying your accommodations?" Jerking around to look at the voice that haunted your most recent dreams caused every limb to spasm slightly and a whimper to escape your mouth, the numbness was worse than actual pain would have been.

The bed sinks and a warm hand slow rubs out the pins and needles of your right hand. "My apologies, I have heard what the shock does to humans but I was not aware it would be this painful for you. It was only meant to incapacitate you for long enough to get here." A tingle spreads from where his hand is in contact, reviving your limbs and chasing away the pins and needles.

"Why did you bring me here?" You ask, finally able to pull away the hand he had been massaging gently. Rolling away from him  you manage to get off the bed before your limbs give out again. Landing on your ass on the other side, staring up at him from your new position on the floor.

"I thought I made that clear before I took you." He laid back, relaxed on what was likely his bed.

Frantically, backing up against the cool paneled wall you shook your head, trying to find a door, a window, anything to get out of there now.

"Well I guess I should do that now then."

Sitting up in a fluid motion he swings himself to the edge of the bed, setting his feet on the ground as he leans forward to watch you cower. This was your first good look at the man, and you drank it in. His body was an odd mash of metal and skin. Now you could see it better though, his body was decorated with the metal, one entire arm, the opposite leg, pieces poking out in other places like plastered gold leaf across exposed skin. Beneath it were ink swirls like a tattoo, blended seamlessly into one being.

He bathed under your attention, basking in it as you looked over every inch of him. You couldn't see all of him of course. His legs were covered in a leather-like pant, loose enough for mobility but tight enough to give a good view, his torso was bare except for a weapons holster of the same material as his pants. It was strapped around his chest and making his muscle stand out obscenely against the leather, gold glinting in the light.

"You see sweetheart, my race has discovered something very interesting. It seems that not only are we compatible species, but. . . " He paused a moment, looking you from head to toe slowly, an unease entering his posture as he scoots a little closer from the edge of the bed. He changed tactics, a little smirk rising on his lips. "Amongst the crew of our ship we have brought very few partners, and those that were brought, well, we aren't a species that likes to share. My race has life-long partners, and along with our species' compatibility, we have discovered that we can find our partners among you as well."

Dread was overtaking you, starting in the pit of your stomach and working its way through every vein in your body, reaching your heart as it began to pound faster and faster. "And," You swallow, eyes searching his cautious ones. "What does that mean for me?" Your shoulders were pressed against that cool metal wall, trying to grab the metal floor beneath you but there was no purchase.

"You are mine sweetheart, my partner, my fate amongst the stars."

Before he even started your head began to shake, feet pushing for purchase as he stood up, the smirk vanishing to a small rage building in his eyes, "No, no. No no, you must be wrong, just. . . just pick someone else!"

You scramble to your feet, with shoes missing though your socks merely slide on the metallic floor, slipping as you try to make it away from him. But there is no door, no way out of this room.

"It's cute really, that you think I can just choose my life-partner." His metallic foot was a steady beat not far behind you, your hands greeting the wall with more force than intended. "I can't choose my fate from the stars, my one in the entire universe that is supposed to complete me. I knew what you were the moment I laid eyes on you sweetheart, the moment I touched you I could feel what you were, you made me feel like I would crawl out of my skin just to be with you."

You banged on the wall, frantic to find anything, prying with your fingertips at the space between the panels, begging them to give you an escape. "Please, please just leave me alone." You whimper into the wall, pleading as he comes up behind you.

The sharp metallic edges of his hand come in contact with yours as he takes hold, prying it from the wall as he forces you to face him. That hand enter twines with yours, holding it above your head. He presses his body into yours tightly, pinning you in place. His other hand, the human one, rests above your heart gently.

"Calm down sweetheart, just breathe for me." His face is too close, whispering in your ear as he tells you to breathe. You're trapped, body between cool and warm metal as you try not to think of what was happening, you had to be miles, maybe light years into space, far from everything you know and love, pressed against the wall by some strong cyborg looking alien who claimed that you were stuck with him.

So you breathed, tried not to fall into absolute panic at the existential crisis running through your mind.

"There you go, just calm down," His nose ran the outside of your jaw, feeling the race of your pulse as it began to pick up again. You could feel his smile against your skin, "You are the center of my galaxy, and I am not letting you go."
