(A/N:) Thanks for all the comments guys! It pushes me to write more!

Saffron's POV:

I hung up the phone and the world seemed to stop. Erynn and I had just broken up, and I felt like my heart had shattered into a million pieces. The distance we were facing in our relationship had become too much, and we had drifted apart slowly but surely.

My skin crawled with goosebumps, and I felt like I couldn't breathe. The room around me felt dark and dreary like the sun had disappeared. Without Erynn's light, my world felt cold and lonely.

I lay down in bed and pulled the covers over my head, reliving the conversation we had just had over and over again in my mind. It was like someone had hit me with a baseball bat over and over again.

I couldn't stop the tears from streaming down my face. I had lost my best friend, my confidant, and the love of my life. The thought of not having Erynn by my side almost made my chest cave in.

I felt so helpless and vulnerable. Was there anything I could have done differently? Could we have made it work if we had tried harder?

The pain in my heart was indescribable, and it felt like it would never go away. It was like being thrown back to square one, and I couldn't shake off the feeling of loss. All I wanted was for her name to pop up on my phone saying that misses me and I'd come crawling back to her, but it never came.

I knew deep down that it was the right decision, but it didn't make it any easier. I couldn't imagine my life without Erynn in it, and the thought of living in a world without her was unbearable.

As I rolled onto my side, pulling my knees to my chest, I couldn't help but think about all the things we had planned and all our future together. They were gone now.

One Phone Call and Suddenly we were strangers again. I deeply sighed, squeezing my eyes shut.

All I could do now was to wait, to pick up the pieces of my broken heart, and move on without her. It wouldn't be easy, but I knew I had to try.

————————xx———————-xx————————

Madiha and Nima had known that something has been wrong in my relationship but I never told them and they never pushed. Simply waiting for me to open up. I know I need to be around people that cares about me right now, so pushing myself up off the bed, I went to my living room and sent them a text.

"Can you guys come over? I need to talk to someone," it read. I slumped on the couch, fighting back tears and within minutes, Nima and Madi arrived. Both in their Satin Pajamas.

"What's wrong, Saff?" asked Madiha, sitting down next to me.

Between sobs, I managed to choke out the words, "I just broke up with Erynn over the phone."

Madiha and Nima exchanged a worried look. Erynn and I had been together for almost a year, and on the outside, we always seemed to be the happiest couple. "What happened?" Nima asked gently.

I wiped my tears and took a deep breath. "We were constantly arguing, and we just didn't have time for each other. Erynn is busy touring with her band, and I'm always working, especially after the promotion. We tried to make it work, but it just wasn't happening."

Madiha and Nima listened patiently as I explained the details of the breakup. They didn't judge or criticize my decision but instead offered me a shoulder to cry on.

"You did the right thing, Saff," said Madiha, rubbing my back comfortingly. "It sounds like the relationship wasn't making either of you happy."

Nima added, "And you shouldn't feel bad for putting yourself first. It takes courage to end things, especially when you care about someone."

I sniffled and nodded, grateful for my friends' support. "Thanks, guys. I just feel so guilty, like I let Erynn down."

Madiha leaned in and hugged me tightly. "You didn't let anyone down. You made a tough decision, but it was for the best. And we're here for you, no matter what."

Nima echoed her sentiments, and we all stayed huddled together, offering comfort and reassurance to each other.

——————xx—————-x—————-

The next few days after my breakup with Erynn were tough. Every moment felt like a reminder of what we had lost. Nima and Madiha are there for me every step of the way, offering words of support and encouragement when I needed it most.

I threw myself into work to keep my mind off things. I interviewed some of my favorite artists and attended concerts, losing myself in the music for a while. It felt good to be doing what I loved and to be surrounded by people who shared my passion for music.

But as the nights drew on, I couldn't help but feel lonely. I missed having someone to share my life with, to talk to about my day, and to hold me when I needed it. Granted, it's been awhile since that happened even when we were still together but I miss it. I tried my best to distract myself with work and friends, but the pain was still there.

One night, as I was scrolling through my social media, I came across a post from Erynn. She was performing at one of their shows, and her fans were raving about how amazing they were.

Seeing her happy and thriving without me felt like a dagger in my chest. I put my phone down and cried for hours.

But once again, Nima and Madiha were there for me. They came over to my flat with wine and snacks, ready to listen to me vent and cry. They reminded me that healing takes time and that I shouldn't rush it. Moments like these makes me feel grateful for the strong bond we have.

Nima's POV:

Caoimhe and I were sitting on the plush bed in her hotel room, sipping on wine and talking about life. They had just finished their concert here in Edinburgh and I decided to come and visit her for the weekend. As we sat there, I couldn't help but think about Saffron and how she is doing after her breakup with Erynn.

Caoimhe noticed my pensive expression and asked me what was wrong.

"I'm worried about Saff," I said thoughtfully, taking a sip of wine. "She's been so down lately."

Caoimhe nodded sympathetically. "I know, it's tough. Erynn is a good girl, but sometimes things just don't work out. Maybe you should check up on her, take her out for drinks or something?"

"I know," I said. "But I just don't want her to feel like she's alone in this. She's been through so much already."

Caoimhe pulled me closer and said, "I worry about Erynn too. I know she can be impulsive sometimes and can make rash decisions. I just don't want her to do anything that she'll regret."

"I hope they're both okay," I said, letting out a sigh.

"Maybe you and Madiha should plan something to take Saffron's mind off things," Caoimhe suggested. "Something fun to distract her."

"Yeah, that's a good idea," I said, feeling a glimmer of hope. "I just want her to know that she has people who care about her."

Caoimhe smiled at me and said, "you'll figure something out. For now, let's just focus on being here for each other."

I nodded, grateful for her support. It was a challenging time for both Saffron and Erynn, but I know that with our love and support, they would get through it.

We continued chatting a bit more about relationships and how difficult they can be. Caoimhe was worried about Erynn, too, and we both agreed that breakups were never easy for anyone involved. Talking about this makes me feel thankful for my setup with Caoimhe, we're enjoying the benefits of a relationship without exactly being in one. Though I wouldn't be opposed to being her girlfriend.

As the night progressed, I knew that I had to take action and be there for Saffron. Maybe we could plan a trip or something to get her mind off things. I wanted to help her heal and move forward, just like Caoimhe wanted to do for Erynn. After all, that's what friends are for.

—————-xx——————xx—————

Saffron's POV:

3 weeks later and I still feel like my world had turned upside down. The pain of the breakup cut deep, and even the simplest tasks felt overwhelming. However, I knew I had to keep going.

As I sat at my desk, staring at a blank screen, I couldn't help but feel lost. I tried to focus on my work, but my mind kept drifting back to Erynn and the memories we shared. I felt like I was drowning in a sea of emotions, with no way to come up for air.

That's when Nima and Madiha entered my office. They had been checking in on me occasionally, bringing me coffee and taking me for short walks to get some fresh air. It was a welcome distraction from the pain that had consumed me.

"Hey, you okay?" Nima asked as she hugged me.

I let out a deep sigh. "No, not really. I can't seem to focus on anything."

Madiha put her arm around me. "It's okay. You don't have to force yourself to work. Take a break if you need to."

I nodded, but i didn't want to fall behind in my work. I knew I had deadlines looming, and I didn't want to let Teresa and my colleagues down.

Nima sat down next to me. "Listen, why don't you take a break for a few days? You've been working non-stop. You deserve some time off."

I didn't want to admit it, but I knew Nima was right. I needed some time to process my emotions and heal.

"Okay," I said. "But what am I supposed to do with all this free time?"

Madiha smiled. "Why don't we take you out for a day trip? Maybe a hike up the mountains? Fresh air always helps."

The idea of being surrounded by nature sounded appealing to me. So I agreed, and we planned to leave the next day.

As we hiked up the mountain, I felt my spirits lift. I'm surrounded by beauty, with nothing to worry about but my next step. For the first time in weeks, I felt free from the weight of my emotions.

I realized that my friends were right. Taking a break and focusing on myself is exactly what I need. I know that healing would be a long journey, but I felt a glimmer of hope that I could make it through with Nima and Madiha by my side.

———————————-xx————————-xx—————————
Caoimhe's POV:

I sat in the hotel room with my bandmates Thalia and Heidi, both of whom were also concerned about Erynn. The four of us had just finished a show, and it was customary for us to hang out and celebrate after our performances. But Erynn had been distant lately, opting to stay in her hotel room alone instead of joining in the post-show festivities.

"I'm really worried about Erynn," I said, voicing my concern to Thalia and Heidi. "She's been so quiet and distant lately, it's not like her at all. I know it has to do with the breakup with Saffron."

Thalia nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I've noticed that too. She's always been one to party with us after shows, but lately, she's been holed up in her room."

Heidi frowned, concern etched on her face. "Have you guys tried talking to her? Offered to hang out or something?"

Thalia shook her head, a sigh escaping her lips. "I've tried, but she just shrugs me off and says she's okay. But she's not okay, I can tell."

Heidi placed a comforting hand on ber girlfriends' shoulder. "Maybe we should just try again, be persistent. She needs to know that we're here for her."

Thalia nodded, determination flashing in her eyes. "Yeah, we're not going to let her go through this alone. We're her bandmates and her friends, and we'll support her no matter what."

I nodded, feeling relieved that my bandmates are on the same page as me. "I agree. I'll talk to her tomorrow before our next show."

——————-x——————

The next day, I found an opportunity to talk to Erynn privately. I sat her down and gently expressed my concern, offering my support and telling her that we are all here for her.

Erynn shrugged off my concerns, insisting that she was fine and that she just needed some time alone to process everything. I could see the pain in her eyes, but I didn't want to push too hard.

As the days went on, Thalia, Heidi and I took turns checking in on Erynn, making sure she was eating properly and taking care of herself. Until one day, the three of us decided that an intervention is needed, Erynn's just pretending to be okay and it's taking a toll on her, sooner or later fans would notice.

So one night, after an amazing concert, I declined going out with the others and I insisted on talking to Erynn about what she had been going through since her breakup with Saffron. I couldn't stand seeing her so distant and sad, and it was clear to me that she wasn't okay, no matter what she claimed.

I waited outside her hotel room, patiently waiting, finally, the door creaked open, and Erynn stood there, looking tired and worn out. "Hey," I said softly, offering her a small smile. "Can we talk?"

She hesitated for a moment, then nodded and stepped aside, allowing me to enter her room. The air was heavy with silence as I struggled to find the right words.

"I know you're going through a tough time right now," I began, my voice filled with concern. "And we just want to be here for you. You don't have to put on a brave face for us."

Erynn sighed, her shoulders slumping. "I appreciate your concern, Caoimhe, truly. But I'm fine. It's just a breakup, you know? I'll get over it."

I couldn't help but feel frustrated by her dismissive response. I knew she was hurting deep down, and I wanted her to acknowledge that. "Erynn, I know you're trying to be strong, but it's okay to not be okay. We're your bandmates and your friends, and we're here for you."

She looked at me for a moment, searching my face, before averting her gaze. "I don't want to burden anyone with my problems. Besides, I'll get through this on my own. I always do."

I sighed, feeling a mix of sadness and helplessness. "Erynn, you don't have to carry the weight of this breakup alone. We're here to support you, to listen, and to help you heal. You can't keep shutting us out."

Erynn shifted uncomfortably and hugged her arms around herself, a clear sign of her vulnerability. "Caoimhe, I just... I thought Saffron was the one. It hurts to realize that it didn't work out. But I don't want to bring everyone down with my sadness. So I Act like I'm fine so that nobody worries about me. But I guess I'm not doing a very good job at that, am I?"

Tears welled up in her eyes, and my heart ached for her. I moved closer and wrapped my arms around her, pulling her into a tight embrace. "You don't have to pretend to be okay, Erynn. It's okay to be sad and to lean on us. We care about you, and we want to see you happy again."

She buried her face in my shoulder, her voice muffled. "I guess I'm just scared. Scared that if I let anyone in, I'll just end up getting hurt again."

I held her even tighter, my voice filled with reassurance. "I understand, Erynn. But we're not going anywhere. We're here to catch you if you fall, to support you through the pain. You don't have to face this alone. You're strong and resilient."

Erynn's eyes glistened with unshed tears, and she finally nodded, a mix of gratitude and vulnerability on her face. "Thank you, Caoimhe. I needed to hear that. I'm sorry for being distant with you guys."

I smiled warmly, reaching over to wipe away a tear that slipped down her cheek. "There's nothing to be sorry for, Erynn. We all have our own process, and we'll be patient with you. Just know that we're here for you, no matter what."

For a moment, there was silence in the room, as Erynn clung to me, her walls crumbling down. And in that moment, I knew that together, her sister and her friends, with everyone's support, Erynn would find the strength to heal from her broken heart.

Saffron's POV:

I sat on my couch, my eyes fixed on my pet goldfish swimming circles in its little bowl. I let out a deep sigh and spoke softly to my little companion. "I know it's silly, but I wish you could understand what I'm going through, Phalo," I said, my voice trembling with emotion.

As if sensing my sadness, Phalo darted around the bowl, its fins fluttering. I offered a small smile in response, appreciative of the little bit of comfort my pet was able to offer. "I miss her so much," I continued, my voice barely above a whisper. "The silence is just unbearable."

I reached for the remote, turning on the TV and scrolling through channels until I found a romantic comedy. I scoffed at the overly cheesy dialogue, but couldn't help the wistful feeling that washed over me as I watched the couple on screen fall in love.

I turned to Phalo again, my voice soft. "I just don't understand it," I said, sighing heavily. "I thought Erynn and I were perfect for each other. We had so much in common and I just... I don't know what went wrong."

Phalo seemed to bob her head in agreement, and I gave a small smile. "You understand, don't you, little buddy? You don't judge me for my mistakes or my heartbreak. You're just there, swimming around and being cute."

I shook my head, knowing that talking to a fish is ridiculous. But right now, I didn't really care. I leaned back and looked at the ceiling. "Why is it so hard to find someone who truly understands you? Who fights for our love? Who doesn't just walk away when things get tough?"

The goldfish swam closer to the edge of the bowl, almost as if listening to me. I watched it for a moment before looking down at my hands, a tear slipping down my cheek. I wish I have someone to hold me, to offer me comfort and support.

But for now, the tiniest bit of solace came from speaking to my little goldfish and venting out my emotions to it. I would get through this heartbreak, one day at a time, with the help of my little companion and the strength I know I have within myself.

—————xx—————xx—————

(A/N:) For those who missed it, yes Phalo is a goldfish in this story 😆, easier to take care of than a rabbit when Saffron travels and stuff.

So yeah both girls are nursing broken hearts but breaking up was the best thing for them. What's next for these two? Well, you guys have to survive a few more chapters. Also! I added an extra chapter to make the story better :)
