Down the block there's an antique shop,
And something in my head said stop so I walked in,
On the counter was a cardboard box and the sign said "photos 25 cents each",
Madelyn glanced behind her through the mirror above her vanity, a grin appearing on her face.
"Hi, Angel," Lucas greeted, standing behind her and wrapping his arms around her shoulders. she lifted her hands to hold on to his arms and leaned her head back.
"Hi," she smiled. He leaned down and pressed a kiss to her lips.
Black and White saw a thirties bride and two lovers laughing on the porch of their first house,
The kinda love that you only find once in a lifetime,

And that's when I called you and it's so hard to explain but,
In those photos, I saw us instead,

The teacher swooped between Mads and Lucas in class, intercepting a note.
"Well well, passing notes in class, Mr. Scott. Shall we share this with the class?" the teacher asked, unfolding it.
"Be happy to," Lucas tilted his head. "Um, it just says that..." he looked at Madelyn, "Mads, you look amazing." She smiled as a blush covered her cheeks, "And I can't wait until class is over so I can look at those brown eyes and kiss those pink lips."
"Madelyn, care to respond?" the teacher asked.
Madelyn simply leaned across the gap and pressed a kiss to his lips.
"Aw, young love," the teacher said annoyed, "At least you'll be together in detention."
"So worth it," Madelyn whispered, scrunching her nose.

Madelyn squealed when she opened the package she recieved.
"What?!" Lucas exclaimed, running out of her room.
"It's here!" she squealed again.
"Mads you gotta stop screaming," Lucas winced.
"My album! It's here!" she exclaimed.
"What?! You're serious?" he rushed over to her, looking at the CD case grasped in her hands.
"Heart in your Hands by Madelyn Peters! To be released in two weeks!"
"Mads this is amazing!" he lifted her in the air, spinning her around. He placed her back on the ground and quickly swiped the CD from her hands. "We've got to listen to this right now," he slipped it into the player and lovesick started playing first.
Lucas pulled her into his arms and started dancing with her to her song.
The smile on her face never left.

I had to smile when it caught my eye,
There was one of a teenage couple in the driveway,
Holding hands on their way to a dance,

Their converstation paused when Breathe played next. Madelyn moved to skip to the next song when Lucas pulled her to his chest.
"This is gonna sound crazy but I need you to listen to me," Lucas said.
"Always," she nodded.
"When I was in the hospital, I saw Keith. A-and he showed me that day and- I don't think Jimmy killed Keith."
"Well who do you think did?" she asked softly.
"I don't know," he shook his head in frustration.
"You know it's okay to not know, right? Sometimes things can be revealed on their own," she leaned up and kissed him.
"I love you, Madelyn Peters," he whispered, "I love you so much it's crazy."
Tears filled her eyes as she grinned, "I love you so much too, Lucas Scott."
Which brought be back to the first time I saw you,
Time stood still like something in this old shop,
I thought about it as I started looking 'round at these precious things that time forgot

That's when I came upon a book covered in cobwebs,
Story of a romance torn apart by fate,
Hundreds of years ago they fell in love like we did,

Lucas sat up from the couch at the smell filling the apartment. Staying still for a moment, he watched as Madelyn made more cookie dough while singing quietly to herself.
"My head is yelling that I could get hurt, but I'm gonna jump right in, baby with my heartfirst," she sang.
"Smells good," Lucas spoke up.
Madelyn jumped, tossing some flour onto herself and the ground.
"Don't do that," she clutched her chest.
"Sorry," he laughed, walking over to her. "Your making cookies?" he looked at the pan sitting on the stove.
"Don't-" she tried to stop him but he grabbed and quickly dropped a hot cookie, "I just took those out of the oven," she tried to hide her laugh.
"You think that's funny?" he asked, moving to trap her between him and the counter.
"Yes," she laughed.
"You know what else is funny?" he reached behind her.
"What?" she asked.
He didn't respond and instead tossed powdery white flour on top of her head.
"It's on, Scott," she smirked back, grabbing her own handful of flour. He ran around the counter away from her, moving equal to her around the stone, waiting for one to make a move.
Suddenly, Madelyn threw her handful, Lucas doing the same, creating a powdery mess over her kitchen.
The two continued the chase until they ended up on the floor, covered in baking ingredients.
Madelyn's laughed died down as she leaned up on her elbows to press a kiss to his lips before rolling off of him and standing up.
"Where are you going?" he asked.
Madelyn pulled her shirt over her head, tossing it behind her, "I need to take a shower," she stated, reaching behind her back to unhook her bra. She dispeared into her bedroom, tossing the black lace item out the doorway into Luke's view. Quickly, he jumped up and followed her in.

Madelyn knocked on Haley's door.
"Coming!" she heard the girl call. Madelyn let herself in.
"Hey," she greeted with a smile.
"Hi," Haley responded.
"Turn around."
"Why?"
"Get dressed. Luke's out in the car with Peyton and Warren. You're coming with us."
"Oh, no, no, no," Haley groaned. "I really don't feel like going out tonight."
"Haley, where's your sense of adventure?"
"It probably got knocked out of me when I got hit by a car," Haley retorted.
"Seriously, you're gonna wanna see this," Madelyn smirked at her.

They laughed as Nathan awkwardly dance around, Mouth having a better grasp of the dance. When they ripped their pants off, Skills jumped out from behind the curtain and the three continued to dance together and collect the money of people sitting around the state.
