"Yay," Peter sarcastically said. "Everyone get ready to watch Spider-Man Threat on Menace!"
"Actually, this is a bit different," Uatu replied.
"So overall, mixed results," Peter said, slightly surprised.
"Is vampire guy an idiot, " Pepper asked. "Peter is fighting a vampire and uses his car to fight it, and he is mad his car was damaged? While his car getting destroyed is unfortunate, would he rather the vampire win and bite more people?"
"Wait. vampires exist in that universe," Sam asked. "Does that they exist in our universe as well?"
"They do," Wong and Stephen told him.
"Someone tell me they are lying," Sam said.
"Unfortunately not," Thor replied. "They speak truth."
"Yeah," Loki said. "So do werewolves, chupacabras, wendigos, and pretty much every other myth and folklore and legend. Although they can be incorrectly written down."
"Crap," Sam deadpanned.
"Shooting a cop," Peter asked. "That robbery just escalated to attempted second degree attempted man-slaughter of an active duty cop."
"Good thing you were there," Ned responded.
"He is just a kid," Scott realized.
"Must have gotten mixed in with the wrong crowd," Hope agreed.
"This will be on his record," T'Challa added.
"I doubt it," Peter said. "Unless it is a major crime, I generally tend to let teenagers off. They tend to quit crime. Unlike if they get sent to jail, which will follow them for life."
"That is a noble thing to do," T'Challa praised.
"Thank you," Peter responded.
Shuri grinned: "Nice."
"Lying to the cop? Careful with that, it's illegal," Tony joked.
"Mine and Daredevil's suit doesn't even look the same," Peter looked genuinely annoyed. "I know she is just a kid but still, our suits don't even look similar. I wear red and blue, he wears red and black."
"That and he is significantly better than you," Drax casually said.
"Ouch," Peter responded, slightly hurt. 'Then again, he is in the Daredevil Fan Club,' Peter thought.
Several people laughed while Peter blushed.
"Okay but that me has a point," Peter defended. "Why would you ever eat hot dogs without ketchup unless you can't?"
"I have two sons that eat them with mayonnaise," Clint revealed.
"That is just wrong," Peter replied. "Also, it's free hot dogs," Who in their right mind would turn down free food, especially hot dogs?"
"I would. You never know what might be in them. Not many people just decide to give away free things," Fury replied.
"I saved his life and so that is his way of repaying me. Plus I have Spider Sense which warns me of any danger such as poison,"Peter defended.
"It seems like you had an impact on the kid's life," Steve noted.
"As long as he doesn't go back to crime," Peter replied.
They all turned to look at Peter.
"You do that," Steve asked.
"Not at first," Peter admitted. "But later on, yeah. After I turned down being an Avenger."
Everyone felt their respect for Peter increase even more.
"You really mean that," Peter questioned.
"Yes, Queens, I do," Steve confirmed. "Admittedly I know you less than the majority of the people in here, but you have the heart of a hero. And I can see a bit of myself in you."
"Why is that," Peter asked, genuinely curious.
"You and I are both underdogs who got powers and use them for good. Even though on different scales. You're just as heroic as everyone else in this room," Steve said.
"Thanks, Brooklyn," Peter replied.
"I should have thought of that," Peter exclaimed, mad at himself. "I should have known that the would find out the kid got away, and come back for revenge on him."
"You couldn't have known," Ned replied.
"Peter, you're smart, but there was no way you could have predicted that the criminals would have come back," MJ agreed with Ned.
"Especially when they would have had to make bail and track him down," Tony added.
No one said anything, as everyone felt bad for the woman. Especially the parents who were constantly worried about something happening to them.
"I would say good job tracking them down, but considering the circumstances..." Natasha trailed off.
"As long as they pay for what they did," Scott growled out, surprising everyone, including Hope, who had never heard him speak like that. Except maybe when talking about the Yellowjacket.
"They should know better. Criminals who hurt kids don't do too well in prison," Clint replied, just as furious as Scott, being a parent himself. Being a parent, spy and superhero with lots of enemies, his biggest fear was someone learning about his farm. Especially his brother.
"Once more you show just how terrifying you can be when silent," Ned commented.
"I'm with Ned," MJ stated. "You can be scary when you want to be."
"I think the majority of us agree to that," Tony said.
Peter looked away. He was sitting here in a room with sorcerers, gods and his varent was crying.
"Hey," Steve said. "There is nothing wrong with showing emotion."
"Steve is right," Tony said. "Nothing is wrong with emotions."
"Alright," Peter said.
"I am Groot," Groot stated, looking at Peter.
"I am sorry, but I don't understand you," Peter apologized.
"He says he likes you," Thor translated. "And he would be honored to fight alongside you. Though he still likes Daredevil more."
"Thanks," Peter awkwardly thanked. 'Okay, so the Daredevil fanclub grows.' Peter thought.
"Good work ethic on his part trying to get his work perfect, but he really needs to turn it in on time, otherwise all that work will be for nothing," Stephen said.
"I can't believe I'm saying this but I agree with the wizard," Tony joked.
"Sorcerer," Wong and Stephen corrected.
"Did you seriously decide to track down and interview the guy making a documentary about you," Shuri asked. "Honestly, that is kinda funny."
"I'm asking fair questions," Peter defended. "I know I look out for the little guy, but I have bad PR on the best of days. Plus there are heroes like Thor and Iron Man who are significantly more awesome than me. So why me?"
"Perhaps that is why," Bruce theorized. "For most heroes, the public opinion is pretty unanimous. Hulk is hated. Thor and Iron Man are both generally loved. Spider-Man, however, has mixed public opinion."
"That is unfortunate," Peter grimaced.
"Yeah," T'Chala agreed. "I doubt he would be a fan of you because of you spilling garbage on him."
"Yet he still made a documentary on Peter," Natasha pointed out.
"That was nice," Carol admitted. "But you seriously need to get better clothes. Those just look awful."
"I'm with her," MJ said. "That just looks terrible."
"That is my variant's clothes, not mine. I have never worn anything that bad since I have a sense of dignity." Peter defended.
"Good speech, but don't you think it's a little self centered to answer interview questions about your alter ego," Tony jested.
"Leave him alone," Pepper told him.
"Plus how many documentaries have you been a part of," Nick Fury asked.
"Touché," Tony admitted.
