━━━━━━━━━━━ Steve is back downstairs sitting on the lounge in between Dustin and Lucas as they continue to watch Max as she still is writing.
"I know you guys are staring at me" Max suddenly says making them jump and pretend they are doing something else
"What? Sorry"
"You said you needed something?"
"Just handing out"
"How do you think your eyes boring into the back of my head is protecting me from Vecna, i don't know" Max says grabbing a bunch of envelopes and stands up
She walks towards the three where Lucas and Dustin are reading something while Steve is throwing a ball above his head.
"You can look at me now" Max says making them stop and apologise
Max then hands each one of the boys en envelope that has their names written on the front.
"Oh, and, um, give these to Mike, El and Will. If you can ever get a hold of them again" she says handing Lucas the letters "And, um, give this (y/n) when you find her" she says handing Steve the extra letter
The boys then start to open the letters only for Max to stop them.
"What are you doing? No, don't. That's not for now. Don't open it now" Max says stopping them "Don't. Okay"
"Max, what is this?" Lucas akss her
"It's, um. It's a fail-safe. For after. If things don't work out" Max tells him
"Wait, whoa. Max, things are gonna work out" Lucas says sitting up
"No! No, i don't need you to reassure me and tell me it's all gonna work out. Because people have been telling me that my entire life and it's almost never true. It's never true. I mean, of course this asshole curses me. Should of seen that one coming" Max snaps sadly and she looks over at the table where the supercomm sits and grabs it "If we go to East Hawkins, will this reach Pennhust?" she asks
"Of course. Yeah" Dustin answers
"Why are we talking about East Hawkins?" Steve asks her and they all look at him "No. No. No!"
"Max. Max. Seriously" Steve says running after her to the car "Seriously, we're not driving you anywhere"
"Steve, if you think i'm going to spend what is likely that last day of my life in the armpit that is Mike Wheelers basement, then you're out of your mind" she says as she continues to walk to his car "So either you take me where i need to go, or tie me down, which is technically kidnapping of a minor. And if i live to see another day, i swear to god, i will prosecute. Open the door"
"Uh, no" Steve tells her
"I know a good lawyer" Max says looking at him
"Henderson, that super walkie of yours better reach Pennhurst" Steve says unlocking the car

With Steve in the drivers seat Dustin is next to him while Max and Lucas are sitting in the backseat all in silence. Steve then pulls up to Max's house where she starts to get out of the car.
"This better be fast, Mayfield" Steve says as she opens the door
"Twenty seconds" she says shutting the door
"That things got batteries in it, right?" Steve asks looking at Dustin
"I'm not even answering that question" Dustin says annoyed shaking his head "Yes, it has batteries"
"Yeah, i got it" Steve says turning back around
After more then 20 seconds of Max inside her house Dustin gets out of the car as do the rest of them. Sooner Max walks from around the back looking upset.
"Hey, that was longer then 20 seconds" Steve says to her "Hey, whoa, whoa. You alright?" he asks her
"I'm fine. Just drive" she tells him getting into the car as do the rest
"Did something happened?" Steve asks as he starts the car
"Can we please just go" she tells him

"Turn here" Max suddenly says
"Here?" Dustin asks looking back at her and she nods softly at him
Steve then turns the car and starts to drive into a cemetery where he parks letting Max out and Lucas follows her
After a while of just waiting, Lucas and Dustin are outside of the car with Steve still inside watching as Max doesn't move from her spot.
"Alright, it's been long enough" Steve saye getting out of the car
"Just give her some time" Lucas tells him
"I have, okay? I'm calling it. She wants to get a lawyer, she can" Steve tells him and starts to walk up the hill
"Max, come on" Steve calls out to her "Time to giddy up, yeah? Max. Max?" he asks stopping to see her eyes rolled to the back of her head "Max"
Steve nervously grabs her shoulders and starts to shake her a little still calling out her name.
"Max! Guys!" Steve calls down to the others and they start to run up "Come on! Wake up!"
"Max, you gotta get outta there! Can you hear me!" Lucas says as he is now next to Steve
"Max! You gotta get outta here!"
"Call the girls now! Got get them. Call them now!" Steve says grabbing onto Dustin's shirt
Dustin doesn't hesitate to run back down the hill to the car where he pulls out the walkie and starts yelling frantically.
With Lucas and Steve still trying to wake Max up Dustin runs back up to them.
"Max, get outta there!"
"What the hell is this?" Steve asks Dustin annoyed
"What's her favorite song?" Dustin asks Lucas
"Why?"
"Robin said if she listens- It's too much to explain now. What's her favorite song?" Dustin asks him again
The three of them start to look through the tapes looking for the one song they can bring her back.
"Which one?"
"It's right here! Got it!" Lucas says pulling up a tape
"Give it to me!" Dustin says grabing if
"Go, go, go"
He puts the tape in and places the headphones onto Max's ears and presses play making Kate Bush fills Max's ears.
"Come on, Max"
"Max!"
"Max! Come on!"
The three continue to scream out Max's name but suddenly her body begins to life up from the ground making the three stand up and move back in shock.
They stand up yelling out to her as she still had the headphones on while she hovers in the air.
Her body then falls to the ground where Lucas rushes to her side pulling her into his arms as she opens her eyss with a gasps
"It's okay. It's okay. I thought we lost you" Lucas says holding onto her
"I'm still... i'm still here" Max breaths out "I saw, i saw-"
"What? What did you see?" Dustin's asks her concerned
"I saw (y/n)"
