"A grandfather clock?" Steve asks her
"It was so real. And then, when i got closer, suddenly i just... woke up" she explains to them
"It was like she was in a trace or something" Dustin says to them "Exactly what Eddie said happened to Chrissy"
"That's not even the bad part" Max says turning to them "Fred and Chrissy, they both had came to Ms Kelley for help. They both were having headaches, bad headaches that wouldn't go away. And then... Then the nightmares. Trouble sleeping. They'd wake up in cold sweats. Then they start seeing things. Bad things from their past. These visions, they just kept on getting worse and worse, until eventually. Everything ended"
"Vecna's curse"
"Chrissy's headaches started a week ago. Fred's, six days ago. I've been having them for five days. I don't know how long i have. All i know is that for Fred and Chrissy they both died less then 24 hours after their first vision. And i just saw that goddamn clock so it looks like i'm gonna die tomorrow"
Down the hall something falls making them all turn to where the noise is heard. Steve grabs a tall lamp from a nearby classrooms and steps forward in front of them.
Someone comes running down the hallway and around the corner making everyone yell out but only stop when they see it's Lucas.
"It's me! It's Lucas!" he yells out
"Jesus, what is wrong with you?" Steve asks
"I'm sorry"
"I could of taken you out, man!" he says him shaking the lamp
"Sorry, guys. Sorry" Lucas says panting "I was... I was biking for eight miles. Give me a second. Shit"
"We've got a code red. Dustin, I've been with Jason, Patrick and Andy and they've all gone totally off the rails. They're trying to capture Eddie, and they think you know where he is. You're in terrible danger" Lucas tells him
"Alright. Yeah, that definitely sucks, but we've got bigger problems then Jason now" Dustin tells him

Dustin, Max and Lucas are sitting down on the lounge in the Wheelers basement with Steve standing up reading the appears Dustin had given him.
"Okay, be honest, uh. You guys understand any of this?" Steve asks them
"Pretty straightforward" Dustin says to him "What's so confusing for you?"
"So far, everyone Vecna has cursed has died, except for this old Victor Creel dude Nancy found" Dustin tells him "He's only known survivor. If anyone knows how to beat this curse, it's him" he tells him
"That's assuming he was cursed, which we don't even know" Steve says back "How can Vecna have existed in the 50's? It doesn't make sense" he says rubbing his forehead
"As far as we know, (y/n) didn't create the Upside Down. She opened a gate to it. The Upside Down has probably been around for thousands of years. Millions. I wouldn't be surprised if it predated the dinosaurs" Dustin says making Steve stop him
"Dinosaura? What are we-" Steve cuts himself off with a sigh
"Okay. But if a gate didn't exist in the 50's, how did Vecna get through?" Lucas asks
"How's he getting through now?" Steve adds on
"And why now?"
"And why then? Just pops out in the 50's kills one family and he's like 'I'm good' And poof, he just disappears? Only to return 30 years later and start killing random teens? No, i don't buy it" Steve says hitting the paper on his hand "Straightforward my ass. Honestly, Henderson, a little humility now and then, it wouldn't hurt you"
"Sorry" Dustin mumbles
Steve sits down in the armchair with a sigh and crosses his leg.
"Any idea what she's writing?" Dustin asks looking behind Steve at Max who is sitting at the desk "Did she sleep?"
"I mean, would you?" Lucas asks then
"Right, so" Robin says as her Nancy come down the stairs "We have a plan. Thanks to Nancy's minions, we are now rock-star psychology students at the University of Notre Dame"
"I'm now Ruth" Nancy adds on
"And i'm Rose"
"Nice GPA" Dustin says reading through the file
"Thanks. So we called Pennhurst Asylum, told them we'd like to speak with Creel for a thesis we're co-writing on paranoid schizophrenics" Nancy explains to them
"To which they said no" Robin adds on
"But we landed a three o'clock with the director"
"Now all we have to do is charm him and convince him to let us talk to Victor. Then maybe we can rid Max of this curse"
"About that. We're been doing our Victor research" Steve says to them "And we have some questions"
"A lot of questions" Lucas adds on
"So do we. Hopefully, Victor has the answers" Nancy tells them
"Wait a second. Where's mine?" Steve asks confused "Nancy, you're kidding right?" he asks following her into her room
"Okay, Max is in real danger. She needs people around her" she tells him
"I know. But why does it always have to be me?" he akss her again
"You have a Tom Cruise poster?" Robin asks walking over to where the poster is "You have a Tom Cruise poster" she says with a smirk
"That's old. Can you please not touch anything" Nancy tells her
"Look, i can't do anything here. Maybe i can be helpful with this asylum director guy" Steve says leaning on her cabinet "I don't know. I could turn on my... my charm"
"That's not the charm we need. I did a little digging last night and it turns out this Dr Hatch is a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a Harvard visiting scholar, okay? This is a lifelong student of the world. If we're gonna win him over, we're gonna have to convince him we are too" Nancy tells him "That like him we are true academic scholars"
"Holy shit. There's a little ballerina in here" Robin says looking at Nancys music box
"Academic scholar? She is giving you the vibe of an Academic scholar?" Steve asks pointing to her
"No but..." Nancy trails off pulling a different outfit for her "She will"
"Oh, please tell me you are joking" Robin says shaking her head
