Alex's P.O.V.
"AHHHHHHHHH"
My heart skipped a beat.
My head snapped towards Raven.
She screamed looking scared.
My eyes grew darker when I saw Marcus kept Raven on his gun point, holding her arm tightly.
"Leave David and I will leave your sister" He said gulping. David smirked standing up from the ground.
I clenched my fist.
"Officer ? What are you doing ? H-How could you ?" Uncle's eyes widened in shock.
Yes, we never told him that Marcus is a snake.
He laughed "Yes, me, surprise"
"Listen Marcus, leave her, it will be a good for you" Ryder gritted his teeth taking a step towards them.
"NO DON'T COME NEAR ME OTHERWISE I WILL KILL THIS GIRL, HERE" Marcus's eyes widened.
I heard a whimper.
I looked at Raven only to see her pouting with tears in her eyes.
She is in little space. My eyes softened.
"Tell these men to drop their weapons" Marcus ordered taking a step back.
No one moved a muscle.
"FAST. OTHERWISE-"
He tightened his hold on the gun.
"NO" We all screamed almost instantly.
"THEN TELL THEM TO DROP THEIR WEAPONS"
I signalled everyone and they followed keeping their guns down.
"See, we told them, now please leave Raven" Ivan said, his eyes fixed on Raven, who is looking everyone in confusion.
My heart broke.
Marcus laughed out loud.
"David come here" He ordered.
And immediately David ran towards his side.
"T-Thank you, Marcus" David smiled gratefully.
I gritted my teeth.
Just wait till I get my hands on you.
"I know you guys have a lots of questions for me" Marcus laughed.
I tightened my jaw.
"Well, I was loyal to my work. Always. But then, David made me realise the importance of money in Life. If you show honesty then you will get nothing except medal. Medals don't fulfill needs, money does. What can't you do if you have money ! You can also buy medals with money. Not only medals, you can buy happiness with money. So, only thing matters in life is Money, not honesty. So here it is, David gave me money and I helped him to escape from the lock up. He again offered me money and I again helped him to kidnap Raven." Marcus laughed.
I could literally see fire emmiting from our body and eyes.
"Then why did you kidnapped Pari if you want Raven ?" Ryan asked.
He is passing his time so that we could do anything.
"Pari ? Oh well, Pari" He laughed then continue "She was a distraction. Like you guys will be busy in finding her and you will forgot about Raven and then David will send a message to her to surrender herself. But this bitch here-" He said and pulled her hair harshly making her winced. I felt my blood boiled.
"HEYYY LEAVE HER YOU ASSHOLE" Uncle shouted taking a step towards them.
Marcus laughed "This bitch here told everything to everyone. But-" He chuckled "- still, we trapped her and kidnapped her. Our plan was to kill this bitch but that Ryan and Ryder there, ruined our whole plan." Marcus glared at Ryder and Ryan.
David smirked.
"So we had to kidnap both of them also. But no worries, we have got a peace of mind, giving them a mental torture" David said patting her cheeks. Raven stared at him with teary eyes.
"How did you guys met those girls ?" Pari asked.
Marcus laughed at that.
"Those bitches you mean ? We never approached them. They approached us" David smirked.
"Nancy bought them to us. She came to me one day and said she found out that I helped David to escape from prison. And she has proofs against me. And if I don't include her in our plan, she'll tell everyone about me. So under compulsion, I included her, her daughter and friends in the plan. For me, these four were the only ones to take my plan forward. So, I just used them. David told us about your birthday and I sent these girls there to kidnap Pari and boom here we are" Marcus laughed out loudly.
David joined him too, smirking at Raven. I clenched my fists tightly. I will fucking kill you.
"U-Uncle, p-pwease leave me. T-This uncle is bad" Raven pouted looking at David with her puppy dog eyes.
I felt bad for her.
Of course she is in little space but she is always this innocent. No matter how bad and rude she tries to call herself. But, I know, she is always this innocent. she can never think ill of anyone. She has a pure golden heart. She is forgiving. A way too forgiving. People took advantage of her this habit and being soft, she let them take her advantage, knowing we are there for her. She knows that we will never let anything happen to her.
I looked at David only to see something change in his facial features.
Nodding at Ryan, I took a step forward unnoticeably.
"You bitch-"
"Ahhhh, it's hurting-" Raven cried trying to free herself from Marcus's grip.
"HEYY HEYY Marcus, look, we leave David, you should leave her too" Ryder warned glaring at him again taking a step towards them.
"In your dreams little boy" Marcus laughed, keeping gun on her head, and hold her from his another hand.
My heart skipped a bit.
I looked at Raven with my panicked and terrified eyes.
Alex, thank you for always protecting me.
If someday I leave you, what will you do, Alex ?
Thank you so much for always there for me.
You will remember me once I go away.

My breath hitched as all the memories of us flooded in front of my eyes. Her words rang in my ears. My heart started beating fast.
No, I won't let anything happen to her. She can't leave me. She can't leave us. I will never let this happen.
She is my sister, my bestfriend.
Her eyes met mine.
And I immediately signalled her down.
She furrowed her eyebrows.
I nodded at her.
Her eyes twinkled.
"Say bye to the world, Raven" Marcus smirked. He tightened his hold on gun and pulled a trigger.
Two screams heard and my heart shattered seeing Raven screamed holding her right arm. Blood ozing out from her right arm. While, Marcus groaned holding his croitch.
I immediately pulled Raven towards me, while Ryan kicked Marcus. David was going to run while, Ivan hold him tightly.
"She is b-bleeding" Ryder panicked looking Raven in my arms.
"R-Raven are you ok ?" I asked her holding her right arm.
"It h-hurts" She whimpered with tears in her eyes pointing at her arm.
"Shit, there is a bullet" Uncle screamed panicked.
My eyes widened.
I thought it was already there. He fucking shot her in her arm.
My heart skipped a beat when I felt Raven fell lifeless in my arms.
Her eyes closed eventually.
"WE NEED TO TAKE HER TO THE HOSPITAL, FAST" I heard someone yelled.
I flinched coming out of my daze and immediately picked her up in my arms.
Author's P.O.V.
"It's nothing serious. She was unconscious due to loss of blood. We already took bullet out from her right hand. But her body has bruises. Her ribs are not broken though. I will give you some creams, apply it on the bruises, it will be ok. And don't let her work from her right hand. Other than that, she is alright." Doctor patted Xander's shoulder.
"Can we see her, Doctor ?" Pari asked.
"Yes you can and Mr. and Mrs. Wilson, can you both come to my cabin"
Xander and Ruby nodded and left with him.
"Ryder, Ryan, you both should go first" Ivan said.
They immediately came inside.
Ryder's steps slowed down seeing Raven sleeping. While, Ryan's heart broke.
Believes it or not, it is their fault. David did everything just to take revenge from them only. She is not at all related to all these yet she is the one getting punishment. They can't forgive themselves for this.
Ryan put his hand on her head slightly caressing it.
"We are sorry, Rav" He grogged out after moment of silence.
"We again f-failed to protect you" Ryan sighed looking down.
His eyes filled with tears as it streams down his cheeks.
He shut his eyes looking down feeling his heart heavy. All previous memories started flooding in his mind.
How those people were hurting his sister ! How those people were touching her ! How that David was beating her ! How that Bastard was trying to kill his sister ! How that Marcus shoot her ! He so badly want to kill each and every men as well as women involved here.
"We are the worst brothers-"
Their head snapped towards the groaning girl on the bed.
"She is waking up. Go call Doctor fast" Ryan said coming in alert mode while Ryder ran out from there screaming for doctor.
"W-What happened Ryder ?" Pari asked panicked.
"R-Rav is waking up" He told them before running to find the doctor.
"What ?"
The next moment, Alex, Ivan and Pari barged in the room.
"Rav"
"Are you ok ?"
"She is waking up"
Raven squinted her eyes due to light of the room. Eventually, she opened her eyes looking in her surroundings.
She groaned because of pain.
"Take it easy. Calm down" Doctor mumbled checking her pulse.
"How is she doctor ?" Ryder asked.
"She is fine, don't worry. I will prescribed some medicines, give it to her" Doctor nodded and left from there.
"How are you Rav ?" Alex asked softly.
"Fine" Raven smiled.
"Are you out of your mind, Rav ? Who told you to go to the kidnappers ?" Ivan scolded her.
Raven pouted.
"I am hurt and he is still scolding me"
"You have done a damn thing" Pari came infront of her.
Raven's eyes widened.
"P-Pari- how are you ?" She asked awestruck.
Pari rolled her eyes and immediately hugged her, carefully not to hurt her arm more.
"You shouldn't-"
"No Pari, I already told you, I can do anything for you, and I mean it" Raven whispered.
Pari sighed in content, closing her eyes.
"I am so lucky to have you"
Raven smiled.
"Pari"
She looked at Ivan, who signalled something to her. Pari immediately realised and three of them left the room.
Ryder and Ryan sat on each side of her.
"I am fine"
"We are sorry"
"We are sorry"
Raven sighed.
"No Ryder, Ryan, it's not your fault, I am literally fine, see" She smiled.
Ryan sadly smiled.
"You know you can't act infront of us"
Raven sighed.
"Listen guys, I know you guys are feeling guilty and I understand that. But trust me, it's not your fault. You guys saved me from David, from Marcus and from their men too. Because of you guys, I am sitting here, breathing. I love you guys, I love you so much" Raven muttered with tears in her eyes.
Ryder and Ryan also has tears in their eyes.
They hugged her carefully.
"We love you too, Rav, we love you too"
