Solana

The light was blinding my sight as I rolled over to the bed, hoping that Khio would be beside me. That's why when I felt that the it was empty, I immediately opened my eyes to see if she's gone.

And she is.

I frowned while rubbing my eyes. Where the hell is she?

I wanted to go back to sleep dahil pinagod na naman ako ng babaeng 'yon kagabi, but I can't sleep knowing that she's not here. Argh, does she think I still have the stamina to pull out an all nighter? She should be grateful that I love her that much to allow her horny ass to have me whenever she comes home.

"Amora?" I called out for her name while I was still on the bed, using my elbow as a support of my weight. "It's still seven am. Come back to bed with your wife."

I was looking at the door of our bathroom, thinking that she might be inside but no one answered me. I groaned in annoyance as I grabbed my phone to text her.

I left my phone before standing up as I covered my naked body with my silk robe. I did my morning routine first as I went inside the bathroom, I took a half bathe, brushed my teeth, prepped my skin and went out again to find decent clothes that I'll be wearing for this morning.

When I opened my phone to see if she replied, napakunot nalang ako when I saw the 'read' status but got no response from her.

I sighed in annoyance as I wore a casual dress. If she's not downstairs, I might be thinking that she's out for work. But she would definitely tell me or leave a note if she's needed there.

Ugh.

Once I was done finishing up my look, agad na rin akong bumaba to look for my wife.

"Greta." I called one of our housemaids who was cleaning inside, "Have you seen Khione?"

"Ahh..ehh.. Madam.."

"What?" I raised a brow at her.

"S-sabi po kasi ni Ma'am.."

I was about to squeeze an answer out of her when I heard giggles, a shriek and two pairs of little arms hugging me from behind.

"Mama!"
"She's mine! Ugh, alis nga ikaw!"

I almost stumbled with how they kept on pushing each other as they hugged me.

"Hey, girls. What did I say about fighting each other?"

There she is, my green-eyed monster, wearing only her oversized tees and boxer shorts with her 'Best Mom in the world' apron. I chuckled after seeing her looking so stressed.

It seems like she was cooking in the kitchen when she heard the commotion outside and was practically panicking when she saw me not in bed anymore.

"Momma! Khiana was the one who started it!" I heard my beautiful girls fighting again behind me which made me turn to look at them.

Khiana Aeris and Selene Aurelia Clemonte-Avila.

Our daughters.

"Ehem." I coughed as I got their attention, oh Gosh. I still can't believe that these two really came from me. "Khiana and Selene, what did we talk about last week?"

Tahimik silang nakatitig sa'kin while I tilted my head as I waited for their response.

"Fighting is bad, and should never be towerated." They both said in unison as they lowered their heads.

I could feel Khio's presence behind me while I disciplined our children. "Mmhm. And?"

"Always choose to understand and say sowwy to each other." I couldn't help but to smile a little as they're now holding hands while playing with the hem of their pajama top.

"But first, we'll have to discuss what happened and the reason why you two are fighting, right?"

"Yes Mama." I held both their little hands as I mouthed to my wife that I'll be handling this before leading them to the living room.

I let them sit on the sofa while I crouched down to look at them at eye-level.

"So, who's going to start explaining why you two were fighting?" I said gently as they eyed each other, pushing one elbow to another to say who really started it. "Selene?"

"...Well Mama, Khiana told me while we were in our room earlier that you wuv her more because she looks like Momma."

"I didn't say that!" Khiana defended herself and shook her head.

"Yes you did! And when I was the first one to hug Mama, you told me that she's yours!"

"Because she is!" She hissed but when she saw me staring at her, bigla na lang umamo ang mukha nito. "Sowwy, Mama."

I exhaled deeply as I held their hands. "Khiana, you shouldn't say those things to your sister. I love you both equally because you're both mine and your Momma's little angels. You two are very special in your own unique ways. You should keep in mind that God gave you both as a blessing to us. And we will do everything for the both of you, got it?"

Selene smiled as she nodded her head. Khiana was still pouting while avoiding her gaze at me. She really looks a lot like Khio, but her attitude definitely came from me. And it's a lot of work, but neither me and Khio are complaining about it. Selene on the other hand, looks like me but is like Khio as she's always the quiet and calm one.

Looking at them now takes me back to how Khio and I decided to push through the IVF Procedure with me carrying the baby.

After we got married in San Agustin, the hometown of my mother where I told her that one day I'll get married in the church, and I did.

I married Khio with the presence of a Priest, and the people we've met back then in that place, Aling Maribeth, her family and the whole town rejoiced with us. Even without knowing the story behind our love, they were happy and were joyous to see the two of us become one.

Months later, I had a serious talk with Khio.. as I really wanted a family. I was not getting younger, and damn those six years that got wasted because of the dangerous situation we had to escape from. And that after it happened, I was not going to waste any more time as I told her that I'll be the one carrying the baby, and she will be the one to supply and she agreed. The donor was a gay friend of Khio back in Italy, and he gladly told us that he will help us with this journey.

But before that, I had to be healthy and was coming daily to the doctor to see if I was fit to be able to carry a baby in my womb with my age. It was successful, once it was confirmed that both of us will be mommies. I couldn't imagine the happiness I felt after hearing the news, it was meant to be a surprise until my first trimester but Khio was too excited and told everyone that we were pregnant.

It was during her birthday when they knew about it.

So you could just imagine everyone rejoicing as they heard about the pregnancy. My Dad, Sydney and Agatha, and even Khio's parents and our friends were present that day.

I thought nothing could surpass the happiness of having to slowly build our family together, but then when the doctor told us that we were having twins, I was bawling my eyes out, we couldn't believe such miracle.

When they finally came out, I couldn't even take my eyes and attention off them. Even our friends wasn't able to visit while I was at the hospital because I refused to let them see the twins before I got discharged.

Fraternal twins. It was a big surprise how they looked exactly like me and Khio.

The first time they walk.. talk.. laugh.. cry.. run.. everything. It suddenly felt real to me. We were a family.

Khio and I have made it this far.

Both of our twins are quite different from each other but nothing will ever break their bond. They're far too obsessed with each other and willing to protect the other kahit minsan ay nag-aaway pa rin sila.

"Khiana? Baby?"

Hindi nagtagal ay tumango na rin ito. "I'm sowwy, Selene." She says in her little voice.

"It's okay, we can always share Mama and Momma, they both wuv us.. right, Mama?"

"Of course. Now, can I see my babies hug it out?"

It didn't take long for them to hug each other, giggles and laughter could be heard. I finally joined them as I hugged the two of them, snuggling close while trying to get some kisses.

"Avi.. is everything alright?" We saw Khio walk in and it seemed like she was betrayed after seeing us, "Not fair! Momma should be included too!"

Now we're all huddled together, squeezing both our twins between us as they were giggling at how we were kissing them relentlessly.

"M-mama! No more kisses!"
"Momma! Stop it!"

Nabigla na lang kami when they jumped out from the sofa and are now standing in front of us. Their hearty laughs were like music to my ears.

"Momma, what's for bweakfast?" Selene asked her Mom as she moved towards her, letting Khio carry her in her arms and sit on her lap.

Khiana, who seemed to be a little jealous, opened her arms while looking at me. Yep, she's exactly like me. I didn't say a word and did the same to her, now they're both sitting on our lap.

"It's your favorite." My wife said,

"Croissant with strawberries?"
"And Butterscotch Ice cream?"

Khio chuckled and nodded her head, "Dingdongdeng! You got it right."

"Yay! Thank you Momma!" They both shrieked in excitement as they wiggled their way out from our grip and were running towards the kitchen with their personal maids following them behind.

I then turned my head towards my wife, her smile still plastered on her face as she was looking at where our twins ran off.

"Is that even a healthy breakfast, Amora?" My brows furrowed and crossed my arms, "And here I thought you made them something healthy since you went out of bed so early."

"Today is the first and last that I'll make that kind of breakfast for them, I promise."

She flashed me a grin and before I knew it pulled me closer to her and kissed me on my lips, her taste lingering on me once she pulled away.

"Good Morning, Wifey." Her hands were at the back of my waist, caressing it softly. "You woke up so early as well, dadalhan sana kita ng breakfast in bed."

I rolled my eyes and pinched her nose. "You're the only breakfast in bed I want to have."

"Yung mga bata, Avi." She whispered teasingly as she brushed her lips again on mine. "Naka anim na round lang tayo kagabi, you told me to stop before I could even use my new toy—"

"Amora, I need you to shut your mouth. Or else people.." I looked over to the maids that were all over the house, except in the living room, as they were cleaning. "..might hear you."

"As if they don't know that already." Tumawa lang ito at tumayo na rin as she offered both her hands for me to hold. "Get up, we're going somewhere today. And.. I want you to dress nicely for it."

"Are we going to meet the others?" I raised my brow at her.

She looked fidgety and nervous when I mentioned which made me squint my eyes towards her. "No? I'll take you and the twins out, Avi."

"You sure about that?"

"Oo naman."

I finally accepted both her hands as she pulled me to stand up, towering her dahil nakaheels ako at siya naman ay naka fluffy slippers. Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala that this woman, who is a respected business woman, and one of the greatest sculptors of the country still looks like a kid in front of me.

It's been three years.

Three years since she came back.

Three years since we got married in Batangas after that steamy night at my penthouse.

Three years of being the Mom of our beautiful twins.

And Three years since she became my wife.

"In love ka na naman?" Asar niya sa'kin at sinundot pa ang tagiliran ko, "Asus.. kilig na naman sa'kin, abunjing bunjing—"

Hinampas ko siya ng marahan, "How old are you again?"

"I'm still thirty, Avi. Nasa kalendaryo pa ako." She laughs cutely while hugging me while I just frowned at her because of what she said.

"Are you implying that I'm old now?"

"Thirty-five isn't that old—"

"I hate you!" I stomped on her feet dahilan para humiwalay ito ng yakap sa'kin as she held onto her foot.

"Aray!" She winced in pain but I was still glaring at her, she just chuckled softly before walking back again towards me, "Gosh. You still look cute whenever you're angry. Kahit tinotopak ka na naman, Avi."

"I'm not old."

"You're not naman talaga." She pouted, "Etong mukhang 'to? Tanga na lang siguro ang mag-iisip ng gano'n. You could still pass as a college student—"

"That's too far of a stretch. Psh."

"Eh totoo naman kasi."

Hindi ko naman maiwasan na mapangiti as I wrapped my arms around her neck while she held me by the waist. "Really?"

"I only speak the truth, wifey."

I let out a chuckle before giving her a chaste kiss. "Let's go, I want to see what kind of breakfast you prepared for me."

Our hands were intertwined as we walked towards the kitchen, and seeing our twins eating happily brought big smiles on our faces.

"Momma look! Strawberries!" Selene picked out the strawberry from her croissant and showed it to Khio.

"Looks like Selene got her addiction of strawberries from you—"

"Amora.." I gave her a warning tone, I know what she's referring to.

She gestured, zipping her mouth and smiled cheekily at lumapit sa mga anak namin, trying to help them finish their unhealthy breakfast, while I sat with them and ate the breakfast she cooked for me.

I missed her cooking for me. With how busy she is juggling time with handling their company and being a mom to our kids, it's been a long time since I've tasted her meals again. I'm grateful that she would always find ways to balance everything.

I'm quite busy as well with handling the gallery, and the University but I make sure that I'm a hands-on mom and wife as well. It's always my family before work. Maybe that's the reason why we haven't really encountered hard challenges that much.

Because we both have trust and love for each other.

Though, having to see other women trying to woo her whenever she's at the company, or when I visit her workroom where she makes her sculptures for her clients, I still get mad. Kahit alam ko naman that Khio isn't really the type to be friendly towards them.

She's just polite.

But still!

How dare those women try to insert themselves in her life, even after knowing that she's married and has kids already.

I'm considering her art tools as murder weapons if they won't stop at some point.

When they were done, I instructed their personal maids na bihisan na sila because we'll be going out today. Khio told me that today is very special, kahit wala naman akong maalala.. oh right.. It will be our Wedding Anniversary next week.

But if it's about that, it's too early to celebrate it.

"Avi, come on. We'll be late." My thoughts were cut off after hearing Khio calling me, she's already carrying Khiana and was holding Selene's hand as they walked out from our home.

"What is really your plan, Amora?" I eyed her when she finally sat down on the driver's seat.

She pursed her lips at kinindatan lang ako, "Just sit back and relax, wifey. Don't you trust me?"

"Mama, twust Momma!" Khiana said in the backseat.

"Uh-huh! Just relax, Mama." At ginatungan pa nga ni Selene, oh God. It feels like I don't have anyone on my side at this point.

"Alright, I won't ask questions anymore." I glared at Khio who just hid a snicker on the side. "But this better be good, Amora."

"What Mama said, Momma!"

"Better be good, yes!"

In the end, I couldn't stop myself from smiling because of how cute our girls are. Balimbing din pala ang mga 'to. Seems fair enough.

"Don't worry, Avi." She said swiftly before starting the engine. "You'll like this."

Why am I feeling nervous all of a sudden?

...

I slept throughout the trip.

That's why when I saw that I was left alone in the car, I panicked and the feeling of fear instilled me.

Agad 'kong kinuha ang phone ko and messaged her immediately.

When I received that reply from her, my breath shuddered as the nervousness was still there. But I was relieved that this is somewhat a part of her plan and nothing bad happened to them.

Once I stepped out of the car, I immediately noticed a big sign with an arrow on it.

« Follow the arrows, just like how you
followed your heart. »

Damn you, Amora.

You and your little surprises.

I started to follow where the arrow was pointing, and saw another sign with a little message on it.

'When I first met you, I wasn't expecting to fall for someone who was strict, terror, and a jealous monster. I was a clown for saying that a student shouldn't  like their Professors because it would be unethical. But I still did.'

I don't know if I should laugh or be angry at her message. Did she just call me a jealous monster? Biglang bawi naman sa huli. She's the only person that can get away from this.

Naglakad na naman ako to follow the next arrow, it didn't take me long enough to see another sign and a message again.

'I bet I made you angry with the first message. But I forgot to add another one— the person na mahilig sa sinigang mix. Do you know what kind of torture I felt whenever you gave me mixed signs, Professor Clemonte? If not, Now you know. Gusto mo pala ako, pinagulo mo pa. Hay Naku.'

"Seriously, Amora. Is this a romantic gesture or you're just roasting me?!" Inis 'kong saad, she made me angrier with the second one na.

I'm aware of my actions back then, and I wasn't proud of it.

As I didn't hear a response, I proceeded to the next arrow and walked a few steps before seeing another sign.

'But.. despite everything that happened. Good or Bad. I'm grateful that the Universe allowed me to find my way back to you. I will forever thank the Heavens that they didn't accept me and gave me another chance to live. Hindi ako mamatay na kabit, Avi. So.. if you're curious as to why I'm doing this. Follow the last arrow.'

Khione Amora.. you are really one of a kind. I mean, who does things like this in the first place? She really can't let go of that thought— that she was once a mistress of mine. Bwisit talaga 'yon.

Confused and curious, I stepped into the restaurant and was immediately met with two pairs of eyes.

My twins.

They each had long stem pink roses and were grinning ear to ear. They were giggling as they ran to me and gave me the roses, I hugged each one and thanked them for the sweet gift.

"Where's your Momma?" I asked them warily.

"Shhhh. It's a secwet, Mama!" Khiana says before dragging Selene with her.

More and more familiar faces began to slowly fill the room. I gasped in surprise as I looked around the room and noticed everyone was there. Our friends and our families are here.

"Vivien!" I excitedly embraced her, I haven't seen her for ages. "You're back.."

"I wouldn't miss this, Solana." She replied and gave me the stem. "I'm happy to see you and Khio happy."

That was what she said before leaving and the others followed.

"Tita.. Tito." I greeted Khio's parents when they gave me the roses too, "W-what's happening?"

"Just trust your wife, anak." Tita Jasmine said before hugging me.

Now this got me more confused.

There's no special occasion, so what the hell is Khione planning?

"Dad.." He was the last one to gave me the last stem of rose.

"I'm proud of you, Solana." I couldn't help but to cry as he kissed me on my temple and hugged me.

Suddenly, the music played.

I know a place
It's somewhere I go when I need to remember your face
We get married in our heads
Something to do while we try to recall how we met

My gaze slowly shifted towards the back of the restaurant that I hadn't noticed before and that's when I saw who I was looking for— my wife. She was standing there with a wide smile on hef face as she was staring at me.

Do you think I have forgotten?
Do you think I have forgotten?
Do you think I have forgotten
About you?

All of the anxiety and tension I felt suddenly washed away after seeing her.

You and I (don't let go) were alive (don't let go)
With nothing to do, I could lay and just look in your eyes
Wait (don't let go) and pretend (don't let go)
Hold on and hope that we'll find our way back in the end

I couldn't help but smile as I saw the room filled with our closest loved ones and in that moment I knew, it was finally happening.

There was something 'bout you that now I can't remember
It's the same damn thing that made my heart surrender
And I miss you on a train, I miss you in the morning
I never know what to think about

"Hey, Avi. My wifey." She chuckled shyly, she doesn't call me that when we're around the people we know. "..I don't even know when to start. But if you've read the messages on the sign sa labas.. I meant all of it."

"You think natuwa ako do'n?" Muntik ka na nga siyang mahampas ng mga rosas na hawak ko if only other people weren't looking.

"Well.. with my message. I think matutuwa ka na." She smiled lovingly at me.

I think about you (so don't let go)
About you (so don't let go)
Do you think I have forgotten
About you? (Don't let go)

"Three years ago, I promised you that we will wed again with people knowing the truth. I still couldn't forget the look on their faces when they saw me with you after getting married just a day ago when I made myself known to you." She was holding the mic close to her mouth so everyone heard what she said, which made them all laugh as well as I did.

About you
About you
Do you think I have forgotten
About you? (Don't let go)

"But that didn't happen. Because we had different plans, aside sa tinali mo ako kaagad— joke! Ginusto ko rin na matali sa'yo!" She saw how my expression changed kaya agad din niyang binawi ang sinabi niya.

"... God gave us another blessing, or should I say blessings dahil binigyan niya tayo ng dalawang mini me's natin. And I wouldn't trade it any other way. For the past three years after I came back, I know and I'm proud to say na natupad ko na lahat ng pangako ko, Avi. And only one thing was left."

Tears brimmed down my face as she kept on talking.

"As I stand here, with my heart beating out of my chest, I can hardly breathe with anticipation. I've been rehearsing my words for the past few days, knowing that I wanted to make sure I got every detail just right." Her voice became shaky as she cupped my face, trying to wipe the tears that won't stop from coming out.

"My love for you is something that can't be measured, it is a love that has no bounds. I want to spend every single day of my life with you, caring for you, supporting you and loving you. I want to be there for every big moment that our children share with us, and for every day that they need us. God, Avi.." She paused as she knelt on one knee.

"Our love may have been forbidden, but it was the greatest love at all. So, Avi.." She reached out behind her and everyone laughed again when the twins ran to give a small box to her. "Will you say 'I do' and marry me again?"

She waited for my response but I couldn't even say a damn thing as I was speechless, so I leaned down to claim her lips with everyone cheering in the background.

She slowly stood up while kissing me back, I felt her hands around my waist and it was a few seconds before we decided to pull away.

"May mga bata!" I heard Cali yelled behind us.

"Khio, kasal muna bago honeymoon huy!" That was Maevis and their statements really made us laugh while we were both crying.

"Is that a yes?" She asked while I nodded. "It's a YES!"

I couldn't resist giving her another kiss as she was crying cutely while wearing the engagement ring on my finger. "Stop crying, Amora."

"I can't." She shook her head, "I can't wait to marry you.. this time in front of the people we love, and with Khiana and Selene."

I chuckled, "God.. I love you so much."

"I love you more though."

"Seriously?"

"Okay, mas mahal mo ako."

"That's more like it." We giggled at each other before facing everyone, with me showing the diamond ring on my finger.

They were cheering and yelling 'Congratulations' to us.

She told me she planned this for weeks already, with our Wedding Anniversary coming close, it will be a beach wedding this time, and Zafiana volunteered to make her resort as the venue.

They were all on this, and I was the one who was clueless.

While the celebration was coming to an end. I was talking with Maddison and Zafiana at their table when they pointed at someone behind me, and I saw Khio walking towards us.

"Hiramin ko lang po 'yung asawa ko, Professors." She said before offering her hand to me which I gladly accepted. She brought me outside the restaurant's garden.

The muffled sounds of everyone talking at the same time and the music playing inside didn't matter as she turned me around and danced with me.

"I couldn't help but to stare at you the whole time you were with the other Professors, I still can't believe that you're my wife.. for three years already, Avi." She spoke. "And that I'll get to marry you again."

"Smooth talker as always, Amora." My arms are now on her shoulders while hers were on my waist as we swayed in a slow rythm.

"Kinikilig ka na?"

"How can I say no to that smile?" I huddled closely, almost hugging her.

[Khio staring at Solana scene.]

"Thank you, Amora."

"Hmm.. for what?"

"For loving someone like me."

"I'd do it all over again, Avi. That's how much I want to be with you.. like what you said.. death couldn't separate us, right? now with everyone witnessing our marriage. Wala ka nang kawala sa'kin." Hindi ko mapigilan na kurutin siya.

"Ikaw ang walang kawala sa'kin."

"I already knew that the moment we became one, Avi."

We were supposed to stay for a few minutes longer but Khiana and Selene were already looking for us, and when they found us they immediately ruined the moment as they kept on dragging us to go back inside.

***

Khione

As our hands were intertwined, and our eyes were locked, I felt an overwhelming sensation of love as we exchanged our marriage vows that had been long overdue. Even though we had said these same words before, it was as if we were meant to be married for the first time.

"I now pronounce you, Mrs. and Mrs. Clemonte-Avila."

Everything seemed to stand still and all the worries and pain of the past had melted away. It was as if we were meeting for the first time with nothing but our hearts for guidance.

She looked so beautiful in her white wedding dress, just looking at her now, hindi ko maiwasan na isipin kung paano punitin na naman ang damit niya. I also wore a white wedding beach dress, because she told me that she wanted me to feel that I was her bride as well. The first time that we got married kasi, I decided to wear a suit.

"Quit staring and start kissing me, Amora."

I chuckled softly because she's always impatient when it's about kissing her.

We finally got to indulge in the passionate kiss that we had long awaited for. And when our lips finally touched, I felt a warmth and love that can only be described as pure bliss. When we finally ended our kiss, we were filled with a happiness that radiated from within. It was a special moment with so much love, joy and hope that we will be together forever.

We heard everyone praising and cheering as we walked down the aisle.

After the wedding, we immediately went to the reception venue, still at Casa Estrella. Nandito ata halos buong pamilya ng mga Avila, and even the Armani's. I got to meet the side of Solana's mother as they congratulated us with our wedding.

"Mr. Armani."

"You can call me your Papa, Khione." I smiled at him before giving him a tight hug.

"I'm still sorry for what happened a few years ago, I know our families didn't really got along well.. but through you and Solana.. naging maayos na din ang lahat, so Thank you." He hugged me as well, and I felt at ease.

"Thank you.. Mr. uhh.. I mean, pa."

Finally things are now going our way.

The rivalry between Armani Corporations and Avila Group of Companies has ended, and are planning to have a partnership together to build another business in mind. Sydney and I have been talking about it for months, with the guidance of our parents. And we already know that it would be a big success as the business industry and the media will go wild about the news.

Sino ba naman kasing mag-aakala na magiging magkasosyo sa negosyo ang dalawang malaking kumpanya sa Pilipinas?

"Hey, kiddo. Congratulations for being newly weds!"

"Thanks, Sydney. I wouldn't be able to plan this without you and Agatha's help din." I said as I nodded at her wife.

"Of course, you can always count on us."

"About later.."

"Don't worry, kami na ang bahala kay Khiana and Selene. Though, I doubt they'd let you two go without them."

"They tend to be cranky when things don't go their way.. especially Khiana, kaya pagpasensyahan niyo na." I laughed while eyeing my daughters playing together with Elyzra and Maevis.

Nag-usap lang kami ng ilang minuto before I excused myself para puntahan sila Mom and Dad.

"Khione! We just talked to your wife earlier, you haven't told her about that yacht yet?"

"It's meant to be a surprise, Mom." I replied.

"Oh, buti na lang at napigilan ko itong nanay mo na magsabi. You know how she usually spill her words." My Dad told me dahilan para hampasin siya ni Mom.

"Well, I'm glad that Dad was here to stop you first." I teased and hugged them both. "I'll just find Solana, Mom.. Dad. Please help me in stopping the kids later na sumama sa amin." I pleaded na siyang nagpatawa sa kanila.

Having twins is quite a struggle.. lalo na at kaugali nga ni Solana ang isa sa kanila kahit kamukha ko ito.

Nagpaalam na rin ako sa kanila to look for Solana, so I can surprise her already. When I saw a glimpse of her, maglalakad na sana ako patungo sa kanila when I bumped into someone.

"Oh my God, I'm sorry— Oh.. Ms. Viv."

"Munchkin." She called me with that gentle smile that she has, "Congratulations."

I felt how happy she is with the embrace kaya hindi ko rin mapigilan na mayakap din ito. "I'm glad you were able to come home, Ms. Viv."

"When you told me your plan.. I immediately booked a flight. You know I wouldn't miss this, right?"

"Living in a different country and coming home sure feels different right?" I asked.

"My home.. ah." She chuckled sadly, "I don't even feel at home."

Her smile was still there but sadness can still be seen on her face. Even with years gone by, she still looked the same to me. Still beautiful and radiating, her smile still infectious.

When I made myself known to them, the first one to open her arms to me was her. When she knew that me and Solana got married, I could see the happiness in her face. Like it was something that she had hoped and prayed for. I realized how genuine and pure Ms. Vivien is.

Everyone was quite angry and mad at me but she was the only one who listened and understood why such things happened.

It wasn't easy for the Professors and my Friends to process everything, and I had spent months making them listen to me. Eventually, nagkapatawaran naman ang lahat.

They just threatened me to not die. Dahil sila daw mismo ang papatay sa'kin.

So another death threats on the list, pero nasa kauna-unahan si Solana.

"Still waiting for her?"

"Hmm?" She giggled before shaking her head softly, "I think I'm just meant to wait."

"Ms. Viv.."

"I'm okay, Khio. This is yours and Solana's day. So enjoy it." She hugged me again and caressed my cheeks before saying goodbye.

I let out an exhale as I know that she doesn't want me to worry about her anymore.

When I finally walked towards Solana, I kissed her on her cheeks which surprised her.

"Amora!"

"Wifey.. I think it's time for us to go."

"What?" She asked in surprise, "Where?"

"Basta. Sumunod ka na lang."

"But the twins–"

"Si Sydney na ang bahala sa kanila." I held her hand tightly, as we finally ran while the others were busy. I nodded at Elyzra to let her know that we'll be leaving.

She's the one who will announce where we'll be once the guests noticed that the brides are gone.

"Amora, where are we going?"

"To the secret place."

Her confused face was replaced by a big smile as we both ran, our feet knowing what direction we'll be taking.

A few minutes later we finally arrived at the secret place. It was still the same, the crystal clear waters, the sunset, the rocks and a yacht on display.

"A-are we.."

"Surprise, Avi."

"We'll be spending our weekend together.. on this luxurious yacht." I pulled her closer to me as I hugged her from behind. "Do you love it?"

"O-of course I do." She said happily, "I'm more surprised that you got to plan this without the twins."

"They'll survive for two days and one night without us."

"Khiana will surely ignore you for days."

"As if hindi ako na-train ng asawa ko?"

We both laughed with what I said. I know that Khiana will go feral on me, but for now.. all I'm thinking is how we'll be spending our night together.

"Let's go?" I offered my hand as she held it tightly.

Sabay naman kaming naglakad at pumasok sa yatch. Umandar na ito while I was touring her inside. It is an automated vehicle kaya naman hindi problema kung kami lang talagang dalawa. Besides, I'm going to drive this woman crazy on bed tonight. Mas importante 'yon.

Matapos ko siyang i-tour sa loob, ay pumasok na agad kami sa cabin where we will be sleeping.

But what surprised me is I was just a few steps inside but I felt Solana pushed me on the bed. Kakaharap ko pa nga lang ay ramdam ko naman ang pagpatong niya sa'kin.

Her eyes changed immediately as her lips brushed mine, "A-avi.."

"I told you right? After we're married.. I'm going to have my control back." She kept on kissing me repeatedly, "You're mine, Amora. All mine."

"..You look so hot when you become possessive." I replied in between our kisses, letting her roam her hands all over me.

She kissed me hungrily as she tore my clothes apart.

"Avi– wait." I stopped her which earned a glare from her.

"What?"

"I love you."

She rolled her eyes, "I'm not gonna go easy on you tonight."

I grabbed her again to claim her lips, "Who says I want you to go easy on me?"

"I fucking love you, Amora. Now listen to Mommy and be a good girl.. hm?"

I saw her remove her dress teasingly, before tossing it to me. I saw her eyeing something on the side table and gulped down the lump in my throat when I saw what she was staring at. "Fruit bowl.. I think we have yet to know how it will taste when it's mixed with you.."

And this is how it ends.

How our illicit affair has finally come to an end.

This is Khione Amora Avila, who used to be the mistress of Professor Solana Avion Clemonte but now her wife, officially signing off.

THE END.
