"Channie" I spoke through the darkness of our bedroom
" hmm?" He hummed
" how are we gonna cope with that many kids, and with the information we've been given about this second one.....are we the right people for this?" I asked
" we will figure it out as we go along baby" he rubbed his hand up and down my forearm "you're gonna be the greatest parental figure they could ever have, no matter the mental disorders they struggle with. Whether it be anxiety or full blown schizophrenia, we can handle it. As a team"
I smiled gently " thank you baby"
" if you need re assurance, I will always give you it. You should know that by now we've been together for a decade now" he spoke gently
" I know channie" I held his hand and led it to my face so he was cupping my cheek " they're so close in age to us though..... will they even take our authority seriously?"
" we're not here to be strict, authority doesn't matter. Yknow what we said about if and when we have our own kids? We will treat our babies equal to us" he replied "so as long as we are feeding them and keeping them warm and happy it's ok. Even if they turn 18 in a year or so, they still need our help now. And who are we to turn down kids in need? We need practice for the future anyway. Plus you and hyunjin have had a proper connection so far , that's good"
" how are you so good at helping me even when half asleep?" I leant in and kissed his lips
" because , if I know you need me I'll be awake within a second." He scooted closer so our legs tangled together and put foreheads touched
" I love you, baby " I held his hand gently
" I love you too angel" he hummed happily
I felt my cheeks flush pink, he never failed to my my heart flip and my stomach fill with butterflies. Even after ten years I'm still not used to the fact that my highschool crush likes me back. He loved me back actually which just makes it even more shocking. And hes loved me since, sure we've had like one argument but we never stopped loving eachother
" min, yknow the next kid?" He asked, I hummed " hes Australian, like me"
" that's nice, proper father and son" I laughed
" I know right " he replied " I'm so excited "
" well, let's cuddle and get some sleep then the morning will happen and you wont have to wait to long" I giggled
He pulled me closer by my waist letting me burrow my face into his muscular chest and wrap my arms around him comfortably , how did I get so lucky? I have the man of my dreams, and now I'm technically about to raise a family with him
