We were back in the chateau, kie and pope slept here tonight so they took John bs room and the guest room left to me and the asshole who's been dickhead to me in the past few days, jj maybank.
"If you want to I- I can't sleep on the couch or anything" he said
"No, no it's fine let's just don't talk" I said
"But I do want to" he said
"But every time we talk you hurt me. You hurt me jj" I said looking at him as I sat on the bed
He stayed in silent for a few second so I decided to speak "what's up with you lately? It's like I don't know you anymore" I said
"Look I know I've been asshole to you lately but it's to protect you"
"What do you mean?" I asked
"It's stupid" he said and sat next to me
"JJ, what is going on?" I tried again, looking at him but he kept avoiding looking at me
"Look, I am sorry about what I said I know you are trying not to hurt yourself, and I appreciate that and I am sorry for telling John b and Sarah it was wrong" he said
"But it wasn't like you Jay, it's like you weren't been the same" I said
"I just... I love you and I tried to push you away. I know I'll only hurt you so I wanted to do it sooner because as long as our relationship would get stronger it would hurt more and you've been through enough" he said looking down
"Jay, I know you and I get that, believe me I am scared too. I love you too Jay and I know it can be confusing but I want us to figure that out together, but you can't treat me like that" I said
"I know I just, I've never felt that way about anyone" he said, finally looking at me
I pulled him into a hug and said "it's okay, me too"
"Let's take it slow alright?" I said as we pulled out of the hug and he nod with a smile
"Yeah" he said
I lied down on the bed from the sitting position and he lied next to me
"Oh and Liv?" He spoke
"I missed you saying that nickname you made up for me" I smiled
"What happened when you came back home?" He asked, getting serious
"Normal Ftanks shit" I said, I didn't wanted to told him about the drugs I have right now on my bag, I totally forgot about them for a second
"Did he hurt you?" He asked and I stayed in silent
"Did he hurt you Liv?" He asked again
"Jay it's fine I ran away anyways so I'll kind of leaving with John B now, I am safe now" I said with a shrug and he hugged me from the back
"Please don't ever come back there again" he said and I nod with a sad smile

It was morning, we all were at the chateau except John B who was arrested for murder, casual.
I was still sleep and I overheard pope and jj were arguing about a fucking wax
"That's a lot of wax on your board. Put too much wax, it's gonna be slippery" I heard Pope saying to Jay who was waxing his board
"Are you telling me how to wax my board?" Jay asked pope without patient
"Just saying that's a lot of wax"
"No no no you're telling me how to was my board. You kidding?"
"That's a colossal waste of wax" pope said
"You guys are fighting over a ducking was while your friend is in jail for a murder" i said coming out of my room
"Good morning my lady" jay said
"So you guys made up?" Kie asked
"Hell nah, hate that dude" I said with a smirk
"Nah you love me" he said with a big smile before I heard a car honk
"Did you hear that?" I asked before I heard another car honking and engine sputtering
"Hell yeah!" I shout as I saw this mother fucker in the fucking Twinkie, I thought both were dead.
"Are you serious?" Kie said in excitement
"Hold on" Jay said
"No" pope said
"Guess who's out of the clink, boy!" John B said leaping with a smile like a little happy kid
"No freaking way, man!" Jay said as Kie was screaming form happened and I was running to hug him and in a few seconds the rest joined
"My boy's out of the can!" Jay said laughing
"Come on!" Pope said
"We missed you dude" I said
"I missed you guys too" he said
"How'd you do it? You bust out?" Jay asked as we pulled out of the hug
"Uh, they dropped the charges." John b said
"They dropped the charges" pope repeated
"That's phenomenal!" Kie said
"So you're telling me I did all that work for nothing?" Jay said
"Oh you successful work that end up busting the wrong guy out of jail?" I said teasing him
"The most elaborate escape plan of all time?" Pope said
"Foolproof" kie said doing the Apostrophes sign with her hands
"Wait where's Sarah?" John b asked
"No, no, no. Where.. where... where's Sarah?" John b asked again
"She went to go meet Wheezie last night. She didn't come back" kie said

The rest of the day we hang out on the dock
"So Sarah just dips and doesn't call?" John B said
"Yeah, man. She just left her bag. Didn't tell anybody" pope said
"Okay dude I... I... I really think ward got to her" John b said
"Gotta say, kinda weird, sometimes is clearly off" I said
"Thank you Liv! I mean the dude tried to have me killed in jail"
"What?" I said confused
"Yeah. He sent somebody to the prison who yoked me up and almost killed me." John B explained
"You serious?" Kie asked
"Yes" John B assured
"Yo that dude just won't give up" I said
"Do we know who this man was?" Jay asked
"No, I have no idea" John B said
"Probably one of Wards simps, which can be the whole fucking Island" I said
"I swear to gos, one day I'm gonna like that some of a bitch"
"At least then you'll be in jail for a murder you actually committed" I said

"It's okay" kie said
"No, kie it's not okay. We gotta find Sarah" John b said
"No literally it's okay. She's right there" Kie pointed on the boat Sarah were in, with the motherfucker Topper and we all looked at her

"What the hell is she doing with topper?" I asked
"Oh my god, he's out" she said standing up and getting out of the boat, hugging John B
"Hi" John B said
"Hey!" Sarah said to him, exited
"Oh my god, I am glad you're okay. Hi" he said
"I didn't know if I'd see you again. What happened? Sarah asked
"Uh they dropped all the charges0" he answered and Sarah smiled "what?" She said
"Yeah, no, yeah I'm a free man" John B said
"That's amazing!" She said laughing as she hugged him again
"I know it's great but... but listen Sarah, they're coming after Rafe" John B said
"Good he's completely unhinged. He jumped me last night" she said
"Wait what the fuck? Are you okay?" I asked concerned
"Yeah I am fine, that why I didn't come back" She explained
"Yeah, man. Rafe has lost his mind. Literally almost drowned his own sister" he said, like anyone gives a shit about his opinion
"Thankfully I got there... got there just in time" he added
Does this man ever shut up?
"Yeah he did" Sarah said
"Uh, we'll, I guess I owe you one, Topper, Don't I?" John B said
"Owe you punch maybe" I said
"Sorry have I done something to you? Somebody had to rescue his girlfriend" John b said
"Oh that's funny because she's not his girlfriend, right?" I said, I knew they were engaged and I wanted to make Topper jealous because that dude deserves that.
"Uh... well, what is she going then?" He asked and I looked at her
"Tell him" I said
"I am... I am with him" she said
Is she fucking serious right now?
"Gotcha. You're with him. Okay, yeah. Just needed a little clarity there" topper said as he laughed
"You guys clear now?" He added
"Topper I swear to god if you won't leave right now I'll unit with Rafe and drown you're kook ass" I snapped and he raised his hand as defend and drove away

In the rest of the day I played shotgun with Jay, it was fun and chill and I missed that
Then Jay for a text from Guffy, something happened to Hayward I didn't really understood what because Jay was stressed and he's not very clear when he's in stress
He called ran to pope first, and we called everyone and we drove to Hayward
"Pop, what happened?" Pope asked Hayward as I finished disinfect his face who was hurt
"Thank you darling" Hayward said and I nod with a smile
"I should've known better, he came in just as I was about to lock up caught me by surprise" he said, returning to pope
"Once he had me down he put his knee in my chest and he asked me about that... that's key from that... that drawing you showed me" Hayward explained as Jay was walking around in circles
"And in case you're wondering, I ain't tell him nothing. Now did you track it down?" he asked pope and he showed him the key he found
"I found it in Mee-maw's old apartment above the pharmacy just like you said" Pope explained
"Shit boy, you should've gave this to me. I wouldn't have had to take beating. I hate the big deal? It ain't worth anything why they want it so bad?" Hayward said
"I don't know. First I get this letter telling me that I need to go to Charleston and then I meet a rich lady who wants me to give her a key that I didn't know was in my family" pope said
"Non of this makes sense" Kie said
"Well, don't y'all just sit here whining about it. Figure that out!" Hayward said, I love that man
"No, I am just gonna give the key to that lady. It's not worth-" pope was about to say but was cut off but Hayward
"No, no, no. Did I raise you to back down from a fight boy?" Hayward asked pope and he shakes his head "No sir"
"Well, al right. Now I didn't think about it before. I admit that. But now..." he said pointing on his bruise "now? I am interested"
"Well, did they say why they wanted it?" He asked
"Something about an old cross" pope answered
"I think it might have to do something with a lost treasure" he added
"You know who you should talk to? You're great-grandmother, Mee-Maw" Hayward said

So, we didn't waisted time and pope went to this great grand-mother to talk about that jet and cross stuff
Jay and John B were talking in the car, gossiping about old ladys and treasure stuff while me, Kie and Sarah gossip about them
"So what's going on with you and JJ?" Sarah asked
"It's complicated" I said laughing
"It's always complicated between you two when are you gonna get married" kie said with a chuckle
"Okay then what's up with you and John B?" I asked Sarah
"John B being a drama Queen, Of course I thanked Topper. He saved my life, and I'd put him through so much already and you'd think that that is the crime of the century" Sarah answered
"Tell me about it. All of this crazy shit is happening, and Popes Hugh e me the silent treatment for not being in love with him" kie said
"And we're the dramatic ones" Sarah said with a chuckle
"Sure" I said with sarcasm as we got into the Twinkie
"There he is" Jay said as we saw pope waking towards us
"So how's it to?" John b asked after a few seconds of uncomfortable and confusing silent
"Shit just got way more personal" pope said, and at this moment I was more confused then I was before but then he explained us everything

We all got back to Hayward and hang out there
"I still can't believe you are related to Denmark Tanny" John B spoke
"Uh-huh" Jay agreed
"Are we in the presence of a royal?" I said teasing him
"A king?" Jay said as he put on pipes head his imaginary crown
"We shall crown him. All hail the lord of Tannyhill!" He said in a British accent, a really bad one to be honest
We all now down in order to teas him
"We're not worthy" John B said teasing him as well
"Everybody relax. Can we relax, please?" Pope said
"Is this an order out king?" I said with a chuckle
"Relocate the Cat's Ass, question mark?" Sarah said
"I am with that" Jay said
"Save me a room" I said
"How soon can we move in?" Kie said
"Cause I don't have a place to stay" Jay said
"Me either. Bunk beds?" I said
"Bunk beds. Chews to that" he said and we cheered
"I just keep thinking about the letter, the one that Limbrey sent. It had the wheat symbol on it. That must mean it has something to do with the Royal Merchant" Pope said
"Yeah. Something seems fishy" Jay said
"But if we find that cross, we can split it like we were gonna split the gold" Pope said
"Yeah. I am with that" Jay said
"And live happily ever after?" The son of a bitch that beat Hayward and the old lady, Limbrey came in and eveyone stood up
"If you ever touch Hayward or anyone here I'll fucking burn that cross to the ground" I said
"Why would my employee a.. a.. assault your father? That's absurd" She said, trying to act innocent
"Listen, we can keep on negotiating but the fact is that want the key. And I won't stop until I'll have it I don't have choice which means you don't have either" she said as the crazy dude pushed pope a little bit to the wall that wa behind him, not aggressively but uncomfortably that's for sure
"It's Limbrey right? Is that right?" John B said as he raised the key and Limbrey looked over at it
"Is this what you're looking for?" John B asked
"Yes it is" she answered
"John B what the fuck" I said but Jay held my hand and nod to me, assuring me it's alright and pope lifted a bit the key and I understood that Jay planned something and I smiled at him
"Looking at the tide right now, it's says it's about 20 feet deep out there so if I just threw it on the channel the probability of you finding it again is slim to none" John B said
"You wanna give it a shit? Ready?" John B, fhe raised an empty hand to make it look like he was about to throw it away, to mess a bit with the Limbrey
"No! Hey!" Limbrey said loud
"Please don't do that" she said and John b pointed on the crazy dude who beat Hayward, Refield
"Get him to back the hell up"
"Of course" Limbrey immediately agreed
"Back up" she said to Redfield and he steps away as Limbrey stepped closer to Pope
"As I have told you from the beginning I am willing to be reasonable" Limbrey said as pope looked at John B
"Okay" pope said
"Okay?" Limbrey repeated
"I'll give you the key but I want the tape." Pope said
"Of course, of course." Limbrey said
"Pope. Hey, hey, hey, hey. You don't have to do this okay?" John b said, trying to play dumb
"It's okay" pope said
"No, dude, this is you're family." John B said
"Hey, it's fine. It's okay, it's about you're dad that more important" pope said and John b hand pope the rake key
Those two ate
"Oh you're a good friend" Limbrey said
"The tape" Pope said
"Yes, give him the tape" Limbrey said to Redfield and he gave him the tape
"You know, I which that you'd come to thise decision earlier we could have avoided all this unpleasantness" she said
"Nice to meet you" John b said as they walked away
"How kind do you think we have until she realise she has your fathers old key?" Jay said as they were gone
"Ten minutes." John B replied
"Whose ideas was the fake key?" Pope asked, amazed
"Shockingly, not mine" Kie said
"Shocking who?" I said laughing
"Hmm I don't know. Should we tell him?" John B said as he put a hand on Jay
"Yes!! That's my boy!" I said
"Wow. I am impressed. Maybe you are good for something" kie said
"Did hell freeze over?" Pope said
"Even a blind pig can find an acorn at times" pope said hugging him
"I actually don't know what that means but I saw it on Reddit" Jay said
"We gotta take the tape to Shoupe" John B said
"Yes, sir. Ward Cameron were coming for you, big boy" Jay said
They all were excited and happy about that and some part of me too but the other part of me felt bad for Sarah
"You good?" I quietly asked Sarah and she nod, I gave her a sad smile
