"Wanna play some soccer?" Said Ryusei in a laid back tone, legs still in the form to jump and attack at any second.
"Like I'd fall for that provocation. I was just helping that guy." Kunigami pointed down to the still shocked bald guy.
"Huh? Why? Is he your friend? Or are you just a knight in shining armour?" Ryusei asked back, legs spread with his arms hanging between them.
Kunigami held his throbbing hand as he spoke. "I hate violence. I'm here to play soccer."
You continued to stare at the bickering males.
"If you wanna go, we'll do it fair and square on the field. I won't go along with your underhanded way of doing things."
"Ahh.. What was that? Sounds like that outdated, idealistic, peace-loving senility called 'sportsmanship'" Ryusei replied, a hand on his neck while speaking.
Kunigami could only mutter out a small "huh?"
"Soccer isn't that sort of child's play to me. It's life itself. An explosion of vital force." Ryusei began to explain with an arm pointing up wards, but soon his look turned sinister.
"Let's go, hero. Nobody loves a fair and square match as much as me." He grinned and Kunigami could only sweat dropped while you let out a small, barely audible yawn.
"Sure. I'm down." The purple man-bun soon joined in, walking up to Kunigami from behind him.
"Reo?"
"I don't give a crap about his explosions or whatever.. but muscled brained idiots like him will rot over and admit defeat if someone more powerful gives them a thrashing." The man, now known as Reo stated, face devoid of emotions.
"Yeah, but.. do we really wanna face another wings top striker?"
"It'll be fine." Reo finished.
"Yeah.. no matter how strong he his, his teammate doesn't seem to be the most athletic. The odds of us losing are pretty low." Kunigami solemnly stated, a ting of shame lacing through his voice. He didn't really like picking people apart for their appearances, but he was here in blue lock to win, so there was no time to be pitiful. Anywho, it's not like he was saying anything rude, he thought. In fact, neither Kunigami nor Reo could see your face as you were looking down at the ground, your back being the only visible feature.
"And if this guy really is strong, then it'll be good to have him on our team. Now that we're at the bottom of the barrel and one loss away from the end.. we won't get stronger if we run away." reo said, arms crossing against his chest.
"Got it, Reo."
"Oh? I like that, purple topknot! Now I know why M/n was interested in you.." Ryusei boasted, though silently muttered the last bit. Would he be able to explode during this match?
