*18 months later*
"Em hurry up, we're going to be late" I shouted to her as I stood by the door, redoing the buckle on my shoe
"Are you all good to go?" Charles asked as he adjusted my robe that was falling off of my shoulder
"Yeah I think so" I smiled nervously as I ran through my mental checklist
"Okay, I'm ready" Emma puffed as she rearranged herself "where's Max?"
"He's gone to pick up both of your parents from the hotel so they'll meet us all there" Charles explained as I locked up our apartment
Charles had asked me to move in with him properly after we found out we would be staying in Monaco and after a manic Christmas period going between Monaco and Scotland, I had finally settled in to the apartment. My parents had visited us many times since and now they were here for Emma and I's graduation which we were running behind my perfectly planned schedule for.
We arrived with 10 minutes to spare so I quickly said goodbye to Charles as Emma and I rushed to find our seats. The ceremony dragged on as we each waited for our names to be called, finally making our way on stage to collect our degrees. We were finished not long after and we met everyone outside along with Aimée, Arthur and Pascale to take our photographs

We had a big joint dinner with mine, Emma and Aimée's families, the Leclerc's and Max to celebrate together. It soon descended in to chaos when Max began ordering rounds of shots to the table for everyone. I don't think I've ever seen my dad that drunk before, he can't handle his tequila.
"I'm so proud of you" Charles whispered in my ear and squeezed my side as I was taking in the sight of all my favourite people in one place and getting along so well
"Thank you" I leaned in to him "I love you"
"I love you too" he spoke as he pressed a kiss to the top of my head
*1 year later*
"You're going to make me late" I laughed as Charles pulled me back in to bed with him
"Do you have to go to work?" He whined as he pressed kisses along my jawline
"I'm only working this morning then I'll be there to watch your practice sessions this afternoon" I bargained with him as I dragged myself from his grip
"You promise?" He asked as he followed me in to the kitchen
"I promise" I laughed as I poured myself a bowl of cereal

I laughed as the notification came up on my phone
"People will think I'm a horrible girlfriend" I joked with Charles "abandoning you at your home race"
"I'm only messing, the kids come first" he kissed me on the cheek as I placed my bowl in the sink and gathered my belongings for work
"Okay go be amazing and I'll see you at the track this afternoon" I gave Charles a quick kiss before heading out the door
I'd taken up a job at the hospital in the paediatric department soon after graduation and I couldn't be happier. The job was great and the holidays were even better so I was able to attend most of Charles' races throughout the season.
My morning session went in quickly, even receiving some drawings of Charles in his race car that I always took home to show off to him. I said goodbye to everyone in the clinic and made my way home before walking down to the track.

It was now race day and Charles was starting in pole position after some great qualifying sessions yesterday and I watched on in the garage with Arthur, Aimée, Rebecca, Isa, Pascale and Lorenzo. We were on to the final lap of the race as Charles began to pull away from Max, then in to the final few corners it was tight but Charles came out better and raced along the final straight
"AND CHARLES LECLERC WINS THE MONACO GRAND PRIX"
I stood in shock as everyone started cheering and hugging each other
"Oh my god, he did it" I spoke, turning to Pascale who was in tears and wrapped her in a hug "He did it!" I cried along with her
All the engineers had raced to the barrier at Parc Fermé so Pascale and I weaved our way through the crowd to get to the front just as Charles' car pulled up. He immediately came running over to us and we both pulled him in for a hug before he celebrated with his team.
Pascale gripped on to me as Charles took the top step of the podium and the national anthem blared out over the speakers.
"Hervé would have been so proud" she smiled with tears in her eyes
"He is proud. Of all of the boys. You've done an amazing job raising three absolute gents" I hugged her
The crowds started to disperse and we made our way back through the paddock to the Ferrari motorhome where Fred had arranged champagne on arrival to celebrate the win. Eventually Charles and Carlos arrived with their trophies and bottles of champagne and we chatted for a couple of minutes before they had their debrief meeting.
I text Emma to discuss the details of tonight's night out whilst we waited for the meetings to end and Charles and I headed back to the apartment.
We had our own personal celebrations before getting ready to head out for the night. Monaco was always a big race and everyone was out no matter the result for earlier in the day.

The night was spent in good company with all the drivers and most of their girlfriends as well as lots of alcohol, bad dancing and even worse singing. Charles had now learnt the words to Wannabe, although not by choice, and Em and I could force the boys to perform it along with us as a quartet. Yuki's karaoke sessions had really been paying off with the other drivers.
It was late on in the night as Charles and I took a break from singing and dancing to watch Max twirl Emma around until she looked like she was about to be sick before they collapsed down together in a fit of laughter
"I'm so proud of you" I smiled at Charles as we sat together in the booth
"Thank you" He smiled back "I love you"
"I love you too"
