BEYONCÉ POV
Move in day already. I can't believe I'm moving in with Megan. Well yes I can believe it cause that's all we've been talking about since I agreed. With my last box out the door I take in the empty apartment. The memories these walls hold. From Normani and I signing on this apartment, her straight outta school and me after finally finding what I wanted to do.... Teach.
Then to Normani meeting Trinity and her needing a place to stay. Then us being the best roommates and enjoying it all. Then to now, where no one is here. Just the memories of this empty apartment will stay here.
"You ready Mommy?"
"Yes. Yes I am" I say turning around smiling at Megan
She grabs my hand and we walk out hand in hand ready for what's to come.
ONE WEEK LATER
"Meg! Meg! Meg!!!" I shout running through the house trying to find her
"In here!" I hear her shout from upstairs
Running very fast nearly tripping over my own feet I find her in her closet with her stylist as they go over different looks.
"Hey y'all" I say trying to catch my breathe
Damn these little legs.
"Hey Bey"
"Hey baby... what's wrong? You okay?" Megan ask
"I'm great!, more than great! Guess what came!?!? I can teach again! I can teach! Look!" I shout happily handing her the paper
I watch her read as a smile creeps on her face.
"Bey I'm so proud of you!!" She says hugging me tightly
I thank her as her stylist praises me telling me how I already had it in the bag. I stay with them laying on the bed as I watch them continue to go through different outfits, picking thee one for the BET awards.
Now I'm so proud of my baby doll for being nominated and also performing there too. I'm so proud of her. I can't wait to watch her shine.
Settling on a black corset bodysuit they call it a night and I have my baby doll to myself. Choosing to cook for her I look through the kitchen to see what we do have. Spotting some fish, spinach and mixed vegetables; I decide to sauté some mixed vegetables and make some spinach artichoke. I leave the fish in the freezer knowing that Megan is following the whole vegetarian thing. So to not tempt her I won't have any type of meat either. Even though it's fish....
"Mommy, thank you for not eating meat with me...I love you" she says giving me a kiss
"Baby doll I'm here with you through it all, don't you worry...I don't get why you do it cause that body is already perfect but I'm here with you through it all" I say making her giggle
"No... I gotta get this stomach down"
"Oh gosh not this again! You don't even have a stomach....and besides this body only belongs to me. And I love what I see so don't be changing shit" I mutter as I softly bite the tip of her left ear
She giggles as I pull back and set all the food out for us on the table.
"Bey....did you see that you're called to teach the same night of the awards?" She ask
"WHAT!?" I say jumping off the bed and grabbing the paper from her
"Baby doll, I will call and cancel that class...I will be there to watch you win and perform"
"Mommy! This is what we've been looking for. For them to finally give you your opportunity again...I refuse to let you miss it for this thing. You teaching is more important than that award. I want you doing what you love and that's teaching. So you go teach, but you better...and I mean you better FaceTime me"
I smile at her as she winks at me. "I love you so much Baby doll. I love you so much!"
"I love you more...now let's finish eating so we can watch that new Disney movie"
"Of course baby" I say grabbing her left hand as we continue to eat making flirty eyes at each other
Today came way faster than I thought it would. Megan and the crew are leaving for the BET awards, which means I'll be by myself till they get back.
I look semi down finding my baby on top of me holding me tight. I chuckle lightly at how her pacifier is halfway in her mouth but still holding on strong. I rub her back feeling sleep catching me again.
"Mommy. Mommy.....it's time to wake up" I hear my baby say
"I'm up. Baby. I'm up"
We look at each other smiling, I pull her hair from her face admiring her before I give her a kiss.
We both get up enjoying each other's company first in the shower then in the kitchen and now in the living room; as we're cuddled up watching the little mermaid.
"I'm gonna miss you Mommy"
"I'm gonna miss you too baby....you make me proud, hear me?"
She nods her head pouting again, and all I can do is give her a huge kiss.
"Bye y'all! Safe travels! Faris watch my baby now!!" I shout to everyone as the start to head into the jet
My baby make it to the top of the stairs looks back at me with sad eyes and wave. I blow her a kiss and she gives me one back blushing. I watch the jet take off and I feel my heart take off with it.
I'mma miss my baby.
After exactly an hour and thirty minutes I call Megan, and she answers.
"Mommy?"
"Oh baby were you sleeping? I'm so sorry I just wanted to know that y'all made it"
"Um yeah I was but it's okay....we landed about five minutes ago. I'm sorry, I forgot to call I was so sleepy"
"It's okay baby. I'm just glad y'all made it. You rest up and call me when you're up for it"
"N-No! Mommy, can we FaceTime and we stay on till we fall asleep and wake up again?"
"Yes, we definitely can. You know you don't have to ask"
We talk for a bit till I watch her eyes get droopy and she instantly falls asleep. I admire her through the phone. My precious baby doll, I say to myself.
I wake up to hearing my name being called and I see a fully dressed Megan, smiling at me.
"Hey Mommy!"
"Hey Baby doll. Ugh I'm sorry I fell asleep and missed you waking up"
"It's okay....it just reminded me of how I wake up sometimes in the night to see your mouth opened snoring" she says laughing making me roll my eyes
"Damn okay"
"No no, Mommy. It's a good thing. It made me feel like we're right next to each other"
"Okay good. Cause you know Mommy misses her baby"
"And baby misses her Mommy" she says pouting
I hear Faris tell her that they gotta start heading out. So we end the call as she tells me she'll call me later. Then tells me I better be watching the show.
I smile to myself I really do love her.
I finally wake up and start my day. Excited to be back to work now. But I don't start till 5, so I have plenty of time to kill since it's 11 am. I get up doing my morning hygiene well trying to figure out what to eat.
Not bothering to cook I look through Uber eats, settling for some Ihop. Before I can checkout there's a knock at the door. Creeping out the living room behind Travis, who I guess is the bodyguard for the house. Cause I thought he would've left with Megan, but I see he didn't.
Opening the door I see Normani and Trinity. What the hell do they want?
We sit across from each other at the kitchen counter, no one saying anything.
"We brought breakfast" Normani says breaking the silence
"Okay. Y'all didn't have to"
"B-But we wanted to....we want to talk"
"Okay....."
"We'll we're sorry for how things been... it's been what four months we haven't talked and seen each other besides that day we needed help. We miss you Beyoncé. We miss our best friend" Normani says as Trinity nods her head agreeing
I just continue to look at them as they look at me begging me to say something.
"But you both didn't care...just joined Megan's side when she was wrong in the beginning. I was your best friend not hers, and y'all sided with her...I don't know if we could ever go back to being what we used to be......we can be cordial with each other as we already are. But I don't see us being friends as we used to"
"Why?!? Why!!!" Trinity shouts as tears fall from her eyes
"Because I don't trust y'all"
"So..... um- I guess we should leave... Megan told us how you're going back to work tonight, that's great..... and I guess we should let you be so you can get ready for that"
"That would be great"
I walk them back to the front door as Trinity keeps her head down.
"Well y'all get home safe. Bye" I say ready to close the door behind them
"So there really is no us no more?" Trinity mumbles
"Why would you think there is? We haven't talked and even after seeing each other, y'all found out about me through Megan. Not from me. There is no us no more.. so goodbye" I say not even feeling bad
Normani grabs Trinity hand as they walk to their car and drive away. I just go right back to bed because that talk drained me.
Okay...504 Lenox Road..... where the hell is this school at?? I say to myself
I've been driving around for about a good 30 minutes and the building is not a school. And this street is dark. What the hell type of place did they send me to?
Hitting a red light I stop, so I take the time to look at my phone googling the address again. Then I hear a crash and instantly scream.
HA! Y'all thought I was ending it there. Nope...... maybe 🤭😂😂😂
"Please! Leave me alone! If you need money I'll give you it! Just please don't hurt me!!" I beg the masked man as I look at him after he smashed my window
He doesn't say anything he just stares at me. Then he moves away and my heart stops when I see Kasseem smiling at me.
"Why don't you step out the car and we talk Beyoncé"
