Your P.O.V
I was at my job working on all the assignments my boss wanted me to do by 3:00. As I was about to finish my boss's assistant came to give me another stack of paper work
"Um what's all this about" I said looking up at her
"Oh well the boss wants this to be filled out and put on his desk by tomorrow morning" I looked at the stack of paper and went through it
"Well I can't do this I already have other paper work I'm doing can't you ask someone else to do it" She shook her head and walked away
I sighed and put my head down mumbling a few curse words in my first language
Thankfully one of my coworkers said they would do it for me since they didn't have much work to do. I thanked them and finished the paper work I was working on
I had finished it and put it on the boss's desk. Honestly I was still stressed cause I knew by the time I got home he would have sent me an email about more paper work
I took my keys out of my purse and started the car, I drove home. Once I got home I unlocked the door and walked in taking my shoes off. I hung up my keys and my purse before laying on the couch face first
I hadn't realized Tom was walking down the stairs until I heard him greet me "Welcome home darling"
I mumbled a hi but he didn't understand what I said. It seemed like he immediately knew something was wrong because he made me sit up before sitting in front of me "Alright what happened sweetheart"
I immediately hugged my legs and put my head down "I'm just tired I had to do a bunch of paper work and then I was given another stack of paper work but my coworker said he would do it for me"
Tom hugged me and kissed my forehead "Go get changed I'll make dinner for us while you pick a movie for us to watch. Okay?"
I looked at him and nodded before getting up, seeing he had already brought me clothes down
I grabbed it and walked to the bathroom changing into it, it was shorts and one of his shirts that looked big on me
I walked to the living room and sat on the couch, I had then picked scream for us to watch.
I looked at Tom in the kitchen just watching him cook for us. That had already calmed me down a bit feeling less stressed
Once Tom finished he had brought me what he cooked, we decided to share the food as I had sat on his lap
I was honestly forgetting about everything that had made me stressed. Tom just being with me cheered me up a lot...
