~ Dreams ~
Vanessa was running away from a shadowy presence that kept chasing after her, as she kept dodging and weaving through and around the trees until it lead her to where it all began. However a portal opened underneath her as she fell and tumbled into what seems to be a hidden lair or some sort, Vanessa sat up and looked around only to find a woman caged in a cell. Vanessa ran up to her so she could free her, but saw the woman pointing out at something until Vanessa looked. Only to get knocked across the room by Baron Draxum, Vanessa got back up and tried to fight him, unfortunately she failed to knock him down and win. She got back up and looked to see the woman backing up when Baron Dracum approaches her, which made Vanessa get back up and try to reach out towards her.
Vanessa: NO!! STOP!!! YOU'LL HURT HER!!!
Before her hands could touch the woman's hand, her arm began to feel warm as sparks of flames ignited and made her shield from the fire.
... Nessa... Nessa!!!...
~ Dream Ends ~
Vanessa: [Gasp] [huff] [huff] What? What?
Leo: Nessa, you're okay!! [hugs Vanessa] And~ you owe Mikey, Donnie, and Raph and explanation
Vanessa: Huh?
Raph: Like why you didn't tell us you're Vanessa Blake
Vanessa: Eh... Well... Well I... [sigh] Okay. I am Vanessa Blake, and yes I did fall victim to the Oozesquitoes... And... I ran away from home
Mikey: You ran away? But why?! Don't your parents love you?
Leo: Uh, I think you're missing the point here, she ran away so her parent don't see her like this~
Mikey: Oh~ but what's wrong with her?
[Donnie, Raph, and Leo smack their heads]
Vanessa: Mikey, dear. See if my parents see me as a mutated Arctic Fox then they'll freak out. Do you get me
Mikey: Oh~
Vanessa: What I wanna know is how Baron Draxum knew about my mother, it's almost as if they worked together. It can't be, because my mom works as a wild life biologist, why would Draxum need my mom?
Donnie: Well, considering your mom history of being a wildlife biologist, it would make perfect sense for him to use her to study the mutations in the human genome combined with the animal genome
[Note: please correct me if I'm wrong cause my brain doesn't remember what I learned in Biology so please spare my mind]
Vanessa: Then how come my mom never mentioned anything about Baron Draxum or mutation around me
Raph: Maybe it's to protect you
Vanessa: Me? From what?
Donnie: Not sure, but whatever it is, you may need to confront them about it
Vanessa: What?! No way!! They can't see me like this?! I'll just be thrown out on the streets or worst!!
Leo: Neo, listen. It won't do you any good if you go to your parents and explain to them what happened, I'm sure with your words of wisdom, you'll convince them that you aren't as bad as those other mutated people out there
Vanessa:... I guess
Mikey: You should also probably tell April that you're okay and you're her missing bestie. I'll text her [take out his phone]
Vanessa: No!! No!! Nonono!!!
I shot ice towards Mikey's phone, freezing in in his hand like a ball as Mikey tumbled down by the weight of the icy ball.
Leo: Neo, you gotta tell April, she won't judge. I mean she's friends with us and she doesn't judge us
Vanessa: But it's different, I ran away and she thinks I'm missing, If I tell her now then she'll never forgive me at all, our friendship will end-
Leo: No it won't, if April can accept you for many things, then she'll accept you for you
Vanessa:... I guess... But, maybe not now
Leo: Take all the-
Donnie: Take all the time you need! We'll respect your patience
Leo: Right~ but besides that, we were just about to go watch me pull off some amazing skating moves, wanna join?
Vanessa: [smile] Yeah, okay
The boys and I left to go hang out, as I watch Leo perform some amazing skateboarding tricks while Raph is lifting weights, Donnie is watching a video, and Mikey left to go cook, I decided to give him a hand and help with the cooking.
Mikey: Okay, we got pizza rolls, pizza balls, pizza tots, pizza puffs, and duck a l'orange pizza
Donnie: As if today could get any more perfect
Tablet: Live from Tokyo, the... Extreme Skateboard Finals
Raph: Hey, it's starting, guys
Mikey: Whoo-HOO!
Vanessa: You joining us, Leo?
Leo: Huh?
Tablet: Three hours of insane tricks. And the rumors are true- Sydney Allen will attempt a 14-40 on the mega ramp
Donnie: Is that even possible?
Mikey: No way!
Raph: She's gotta be a mutant
Leo: Hey. I bet I could do a 14-40
Donnie: [sigh] I will forego my usual, "No, don't. That's four rotations. That's crazy talk, Leo," and skip right ahead to, "cover the food"
Mikey and Raph sped to the door to cover it, while I witness Leo attempt to do a 14-40. I got my phone out so the boys could see it, but also to save it in my album.
Leo: This is for you, my Bonita fox [blows a kiss to Vanessa] Hot soup!
So far, Leo hasn't fallen and I was surprised as to how he was doing but that all went down when Leo lost the skateboard and fell on his face while his skateboard was hitting all over the place and came towards me, but I was saved my Mikey when he leaped forward and tackled me down so the skateboard would miss.
Mikey got off of me and looked at where Leo slid to the floor, making Raph and Mikey laugh at him but that didn't last when the skateboard hit the Wi-Fi router and cut off the skating tournament footage.
Raph: The Wi-Fi!! Wi-Fi. Skating. Raph watch. Donnie fix. Raph happy
Donnie: I need pre-game, stats, highlights of past stats, projections of future stats. We're missing the stats, people!!
Vanessa: [panic] Gyah!!! And I can't get access to my Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Netflix!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!!!! How will I survive not knowing what will happen to the next episode of my favorite soap opera~!!!
Mikey: And we're gonna miss Sydney and 14-40!
Turtles/Vanessa: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!
Raph: Everybody cool it! There's worst things in the world then- oh, who am I kidding? Our lives are ruined
Vanessa:... [Light bulb: ON] Wait! What if we find another place that has free hotspot Wi-Fi? Then we can watch Sydney 14-40!!
All of the sudden, Donnie grabbed my shoulders and smothered me with kisses on my cheeks.
Donnie: You brainiac fox!! You're a genius!!
Raph: No, wait. I got a fix. But it ain't gonna be pretty. Nessa, how well can you beg?
Vanessa: Eh?
Mikey: ears down [move Vanessa's fox ears] teary eyes, frown face [move her lips to make a frown] and~ action!
I put on my sad puppy dog eyes and whimper like a puppy, this made the boys have an arrow struck to their hearts and they admire me in awe.
Raph: Okay!! We're ready!!
We all went to the living room and got on our knees in front of Splinter as he enjoys his favorite show, and I put on my sad puppy dog eyes to make the effect work.
Raph: Dad, you gotta let us watch tv.
Mikey: We'll do anything
Splinter: Anything? Hmm... That is more than something and just shy of everything. Go on
Mikey: Gourmet dinners
Donnie: Nostril waxing
Mikey: Hey, Raph'll even carry you around 24/7
Splinters: Despite the generous offer, I must refuse. We are in the golden age of commercials. I would bring disgrace on my family if I missed even one
We looked back and saw a commercial about ice tray, which was pretty boring so the boys had to come up with another ideas. So we decided to go with my idea, go to a closed place and use their Wi-Fi instead. We went to Gilbert's Department Stores, luckily we knew the Wi-Fi password because of April recent job we got Wi-Fi and we could watch Sidney perform the 14-40.
Vanessa: Hey guys, mind if I step out so I can buy some clothes, you know since I only brought little of what I could carry
Raph: Sure, just be sure to-
Vanessa: I know I know, pay for them. I have the money for it. Bye~
I rushed to the escalator and went up to the clothing department to get a variety of clothes and pay for it, I was about to go when I stopped to see the dresses out, I remembers that homecoming is around the corner and I never got the opportunity to get a homecoming dress, I had one in mind and I decided to look for a similar dress. I skimmed through all the selected dresses until one caught my eyes, a baby blue off the shoulder short dress, with beautiful lace patterns, and it looked absolutely beautiful. I tried it on and I looked at myself in the mirror, it was gorgeous but I saw my mutated self, my fox like ears, tail, and fur. I felt so insecure about myself and just couldn't do what Leo said. Tell April who I am, I lied to her about who I am, what's going to change if I tell her the truth now?
Vanessa: If only it were easy~
I put the dress back where it was taking my shopping bags with me, then I left I heard something from a distance and decided to investigate. When I got there I spotted the foot origami freaks trying to take the ring, I used my ice powers to freeze my stuff away from the fight and decided to confront them.
Vanessa: Yo! Foot freaks!! Put the ring down and no one gets hurt
Lieutenant: Oh really?
The skinny one tossed a couple of origami ninjas at me, making me summon my ice tessen and slice those origami ninjas in half as I stood my ground, I cracked my knuckles and changed my ice weapons form into a whip.
Vanessa: Wanna take the easy path now?
I lashed out my whip and got the ring back along with the hand that was holding the ring, these two tried to come at me with their origami ninjas but I wasn't budging at all. However I was getting outnumbered and I could hold off much longer until one of them hit me where it hurts from my recent battle with Draxum, causing me to lose the ring and my balance. I used my ice powers to skate my way over to where the ring was and caught it as I form a dome to keep me safe for now, but I could see my ice dome starting to crack.
Vanessa: Damn it.... I need help!! [dials] Please pick up!!
Donnie [phone]: Yes hello!! And please be quick!! Sydney is just about to-
Vanessa: Donnie! Raph! Leo! Mikey!! I need help!! I'm being attacked by-
I was cutoff when one of the origami ninjas broke though and gripped on my throat, causing me to drop my phone.
Donnie [phone]: Nessie? Nessie?! Ness- [bzzt]
[Crack]
Lieutenant: Fufufu, guess we got the fox out of the dome now
Vanessa: Y-You won't get away with this... I called for backup!
Lieutenant: Oh really, who would-
Raph: All right, hot heads. Hand over the Ruby ring and Nessa-
Tablet: Sydney Allen is climbing up the Mega-Ramp as I speak!
Turtles: Yes!!
Vanessa: Uh hello~ fox in distress!!
Leo: Oh right!! Look here, forehead flambé, we can do this the easy way, or the hard way
Donnie: But since we only have a quick minute till Sydney's back on, we are really lobbying for the easy way
Mikey: Super easy
Raph: Less talky, more smashy-
While the boys distracted the foot freaks, I use my ice powers to freeze my hands into a spear and cut that origami ninja as I got hold of the ring.
Raph: Nice work, Nessa
Nessa: I'll hide the ring, you guys fight them off
Mikey: Aww why do we have to do it?!
I gave the boys the bombastic side eye [Narrator: And yes I did added this, it was just too good to resist] and glares at them, making them shiver and change their minds
Leo: Nevermind, we'll handle it from here!! Go go go!!
I got going and avoided each and every origami ninja and slicing my way though as I do front flips, cartwheels, and swung my way across the other side of the store but no dice. They just wouldn't give up, just when I thought I managed to get away I get tackled by Mikey as I lose grip on the ring and it slid to where those foot freaks were.
Mikey: Nessie!! It's the end of the world~!!
Vanessa: Guys listen, it's not the end of the world! Because-
Mikey: You were right. We're heroes. Heroes don't wait until commercial. Wait, where'd they go?
Lieutenant: Fools
Leo: They got the ruby ring
Raph: They ruined our night. We're ruining theirs. Hey Leo, another try at that 14-40?
Leo: [smiles] Neo, watch me. Cowabunga!!
I was watching in awe as Leo performed the 14-40, well sort of, and recording it. As he managed to snagged the ring back, and knocking those two down to the first floor. We all cheered and Leo landed perfectly on the skateboard, I ran up to him and kissed his cheeks as I smile.
Vanessa: You were great out there, Leo!! The best skateboarding!! Ever!!!
Donnie: Not a 14-40, but three rotations and a ring-saving steal. Boo-to-the-yah!!
Mikey: Too bad. So sad. Better luck next time
Leo: Look what I found at the guard desk, it's battery powered!
Raph: Yes!
Donnie: Yeah!!
Mikey: Yes!
Vanessa: Hey, guys, while you're watching Sydney perform the 14-40. I need your opinion on something I want to buy
Raph: Sure, anything for you Nessa
Vanessa: Thanks
The boys gathered and sat on one of the chairs while I went to gather a couple of dresses I think were beautiful, I was about to go chance when I saw the blue dress again. I hesitate but then I spotted a gorgeous white dress that was perfect, I got that one and went into the dressing room to change.
No One's P.O.V
The boys were waiting for Sydney to perform the 14-40 when it went to another commercial break, making the boys groan and be bored.
Donnie: you almost done in there? Who knows when this commercial will end
Vanessa: Just a sec, I think I'm gonna love this one
Leo: Okay, but if you ever need a man to help you zip up your dress I'll be that Ma-aaaaaaaaaaaan
The curtains were already drawn and revealed Vanessa in a beautiful white dress with shear on it, and Diamond jewels around the waist.
Vanessa: do you like it?
Donnie: Honey, like is a very weak word. We-
Mikey: We love it!!
Leo: Something's wrong with my eyes because I can't take them off of you [wink]
Vanessa: [giggle] Oh Leo, stop
Leo: How can I? Hey, you're pretty and I'm cute. Together we'd be pretty cute
Vanessa: [blushes] Ahh~ stop it please~ [cover her cheeks]
Leo: Life without you is like a broken pencil... Poi-
Raph: It's back on!!
Vanessa's P.O.V
We all rushed ahead to see Sydney about to pull off the 14-40 when suddenly we get interrupted by the news talking about a break in at the Gilbert's Department Stores, making us cry and groan in frustration but then I realized it was talking about the store we were in right now.
Vanessa: Eh~ guys. We gotta go!! We can't be seen by humans!! Especially live!!
Raph: Nessa right!!! Move out!!!
I quickly payed for the dress I was gonna get, and grabbed my shopping bags from where I last left them, and followed the turtles back to the lair where Donnie decided to try to fix the Wi-Fi router, while I hang my dress on the small rack of my other clothes I bought. I sat on my bed and looked at my phone seeing the date of homecoming, my ears dropped down and I frowned of the thought of not being able to go if Donnie can't figure out a way to make me human again. If I just had one of those devices that those Yokai had, I would've used it to make myself reappear again and be happy.
Leo: Hey Neo, we're about to go eat and- Neo? You okay?
Vanessa: Yeah, it's just... Homecoming, I was suppose to go with April but... I can't because I'm mutated into a fox and I can't be seen in public
Leo: Hey, you'll be alright. I'm sure April wouldn't go without you, maybe she'll go but she'll honor you. She's your best friend
Vanessa: Yeah, I guess
Leo: Want me to bring you something to eat so you won't be disturbed?
Vanessa: [smile] Yeah, thanks Leo
Leo: Anything for my foxy lady
Vanessa: [giggles] Oh Leo
Leo's P.O.B [Narrator: Apologies for the P.O.V changing]
I quickly left Vanessa's room and went to fetch her a meal, when I had a brilliant idea to make Vanessa's dreams come true. I rushed into the kitchen and spotted Mikey and Raph eating while Donnie is still fixing the Wi-Fi router, so I decided to make my announcements.
Leo: Boys!! I have a wonderful idea, we are going to make Vanessa dream come true
Mikey: The dream of going to her favorite K-pop band
Leo: What? No! Another dream, Vanessa is going to miss homecoming because my dear foxy girlfriend
Donnie: Not yours
Leo: can't go because she is mutated, but fear not! We will bring homecoming to her
Donnie: Wow, that's a brilliant idea, and by brilliant I mean not possible cause we can't invite people to our lair!!!
Leo: Ah, but who says we need to invite people, this will be Neo homecoming and we will make it awesome!!
Mikey: I'm so in!! Can I do the decorations? Please~
Leo: Mikey, you are the artist turtle, of course you'll be doing the decorations
Mikey: Yeah!!
Leo: Donnie, you'll be in charge of the music and lighting, and Raph, you'll~ be in charge of bringing April here
Mikey: Huh?
Donnie: Why would you invite her? Doesn't she have the other homecoming to go to?
Leo: Yes, but we are going to make sure Vanessa feels comfortable telling April about who she is. That will be our mission, my brothers
Mikey: Awesome
Donnie: A brilliant plan, may not be full proof but I'm in
Raph: I'm in too, we gotta get Ness out of her shell
Leo: And we shall do that in style
Mikey: Wait! But what will you do Leo?
Leo: Oh ho ho, Mikey. I will be in charge of being Neo date
Donnie: What?! No way!! Do you even know how to dance?!
Leo: I sure do, and when I swoop in and take her in my arm, I will lean in close and pucker my lips as I kiss the lovely-
Donnie: Nope!! You just wanna try to win her heart!!
Leo: Maybe I thought of this as a way of winning her love but it's full proof
Donnie: Not if I step in and dance with her, I have the skills of a true dancer
Leo: Says who?
Donnie: Says me
Leo: We'll see about that, Donatello
Donnie: Oh it is on~ Leonardo
