Niki POV
I woke up by the sound of my annoying alarm ringing so I lazyly got up from my bed still half awake to the bathroom to take a quick shower and put on my uniform I thought of having breakfast at the university cafeteria since I didn't want to cook
"God I'm finally done which means I'll reach the university in time for a proper breakfast" I mumbled checking the time it was still 8:00 AM and since class starts at 8:45 I wasn't worried about it just to make sure I double checked my ID card since the guards are hopeless I walked out of my apartment excited to meet my friends
After 10 minutes
-at the university-
"Niki over here" I heard Changha call my name
"Morning guys" I greeted my friends while they simply nod
"Guys let's go to the cafeteria I didn't have breakfast" Lia whined with puppy eyes
"Gosh you are so annoy doggy" Changha mocked her
"You meanie" Lia pouted
"Lia ignore him the three of us will go let him stay here" Jisung said dragging the two of us with him leaving Changha dumbfounded
"Guys wait for me" Changha screamed earning a few stares from the other students
"He's so embarrassing why are we even friends with him?" Jisung questioned making us laugh
After we reached the cafeteria we discussed what to order
"What do you want Niki?" Jisung asked me
"I'll have boba tea with a non veg burger" i said thinking hard about whether I'll finish it or not
"Okay what about you guys?" Jisung asked the rest
"I want two cream puff and boba tea" Changha said with a smile honestly this guy is getting more weirder around Jisung
"I want coffee with brownies" Lia said as Jisung mentally noted our orders in his mind
"Okay guys just wait at this table I'll bring the order in a minute" with that Jisung left
"You know I can he-" Changha was cut off by Lia
"Admit it" Lia smirked
"What? Can't i help my friend" Changha scoffed
"You are missing something" Lia said
"You guys heard about the new kid?" Changha said changing the topic
"Did you just-" Lia was cut off
"Where did you even hear that?" I asked curiously
"I have my own ways and fyi I'm one of our university's heartthrob" Changha said winking at the girls passing out table
"Geez that's disgusting" Lia snorted making me laugh
"Fyi I'm one of our university's heartthrob" Lia mimicked Changha's voice
"Bitxh you want me to hit you" Changha said holding up his fist
"I dare you" Lia said bringing her face closer to Changha's face
"Okay guys please stop right there Jisung bought us food" I said in relief since I was damn hungry
"What was all that about?" Jisung asked confused
"Bickering about some new dude in our uni" I mumbled and shoved the burger in my mouth i might look like a psychopath but what can I say I was damn hungry
"Oh yeah I heard he's father is the CEO of Mætrix Gzone and his mom owns Wolz beauty" Jisung said
"Then he must be none other than Park Jongsung" Changha said making me confused
"He is the guy who created Critax right?" Lia question it's getting more confusing honestly

It's a character he created for his father's game which was a total hit with 20 million gamers using him as their character in the first week
"He has a son? Critax was created by his son?" I questioned while the others nod along I was so unconvinced that Park Jinyoung had a son
"I thought you knew about this stuff since you call yourself a pro" Jisung said with a smug grind
"Enough about Mætrix let's go to our classes or we might be late" Changha said
checking the time
"Nice call I actually need to submit my missing assignments to my professor before class starts" Jisung said getting up from his seat
"Okay then Changha we'll meet up with you during the lunch break?" I asked him since he is always busy with his club activities
"I'm not sure I'll inform you guys but anyways I'll catch up with you guys later bye" with that he was off to his own faculty surrounded by his fangirls
"Bye be careful" Jisung said waving back at Changha
"So shall we head to our class too?" Lia asked looking at us
"Duh you wanna be late for class and suffer in detention or something?" I questioned leaving them dumbfounded
"Oi asshole wait up" Lia yelled dragging Jisung with him
We were finally in our classroom ngl I hated my classmates except Lia and Jisung our class was known for having the most cool kids especially Enhypen and æspa I was sitting at the last row next to the window and next to me was an empty seat I guess he skipped classes again it's been three days since he last showed up I wonder how he will pass this semester I hated the fact that the professor seperated me and my best friends because we were late once [ Changha forgot his guitar and we had to go back to his apartment to bring the guitar just to find out that it was already at the music club which he totally forgot about] everyone went back to their seats as the old hag professor entered our class
"Good morning Professor Shim" the class greeted her
"Good morning students" the professor said in a suspiciously sweet voice making the students scared for a moment
"Class today we have a new student please come introduce yourself" Professor Shim said with a huge smile probably the fakest smile you've ever seen along with her sugercoated voice
Everyone gasped as they finally saw the new student the creator of Critax aka Park Jongsung stood in front of the whole class his expression was emotionless

"Please introduce yourself" the professor said with a huge smile plastered on her face making the other students in the classroom scared
"I'm Park Jongsung people call me Jay" Jay said coldly earning a few compliments as well as insults from the class
Niki swear he had heard that voice somewhere he's eyes looked familiar and
he meant too familiar he just couldn't point out where exactly did he saw or met him
"He's so cool"
"Critax probably got the personality from the creator itself just look at him"
"I had my hopes too high"
"He sure is gonna be surrounded by bitches"
"The creator itself is a prince"
"He looks so realistic"
"I bet every famous group will try to win him in"
"He looks like a spoilt kid"
"Quite class, Jay you can sit over there with Niki" the professor said pointing at the empty seat next to a boy who was busy looking through the windows
"Niki you're still in class be attentive next time you'll get detention,Jay is going to be your seatmate starting from today" the professor said making him turn his head towards the professor in surprise
"Professor you can't Allen sits here can't you let him sit elsewhere look around there's an empty seat next to Sakura and
over there next to Eric too-" before he could finish his sentence the professor cut him off
"Allen can sit anywhere else now that seat is taken by Jay" Professor Shim said ending the discussion as Jay walked towards the empty seat next to Niki
Jay had recognised him as the guy from last night's incident and he was quite pissed that he was Jay's new seatmate aka classmate he would have walked up directly and punched him in the face but since it was his first day at the uni he was controlling it
