Lisa had given her a Black Card, and she’d barely used it.

But now, she’d thought things out.

Since she’d decided to accept him, then she’d treat him like a real husband.

So, wasn’t it only right for a wife to use her husband’s money?

Especially when her husband was so rich?

She didn’t feel so bad spending his money anymore.

In fact, if she didn’t spend a single cent, she felt that Lisa would take issue with it.

“Baby, are you sure you want to give me a treat here?”

Rosé flipped through the menu and was a little startled by the prices.

This revolving restaurant was very famous.

Kim Taehyung had taken her here once when he met a few people to discuss a deal. The six of them spent about a million yuan in total.

It left a lasting impression on her.

“Of course. Do I look like I’m kidding?”

“But it’s really expensive here…”

Rosé used the menu to cover the side of her face as she whispered, “If it’s Prince Charming treating us, I wouldn’t mind any expensive place. But you? Did you bring enough money?”

Rosé was very clear about Jennie’s financial situation.

The last time they ate at a private club, it was Lisa’s treat.

So she didn’t have to worry about Jennie footing the bill.

Even though this place was slightly cheaper than the private clubhouse, it would rack up a six-figure bill for the three of them.

Jennie did not say anything. She simply reached for the wallet in her bag and then took out the Black Card.

She placed it on the table. “Baby, don’t worry. Just eat in peace. There’s enough money in this card for this meal.”

“Damn, a Black Card?”

Rosé widened her eyes and picked up the card, scanning both sides. She lowered her voice but could not contain her excitement as she asked, “Baby, did Prince Charming give it to you?”

“Yes.”

“How much money is there in this card?”

Jennie told her honestly, “About a million per month. He said it’s my allowance.”

“Damn, a million a month for an allowance?” Rosé was about to drool.

“Mm, that’s right. He said I wasn’t good enough at being a spendthrift, so he’s giving me less first.”

Rosé was speechless.

What a terrifyingly rich person!

Even the allowance was a seven-digit figure.

“Baby, tell me, does Prince Charming have a brother? Any brother, as long as he isn’t underage. Ah, I want a boyfriend who can give me a million a month too! I suddenly want to be in love. What do I do?”

She wouldn’t have to fight for anything else in life if she had a boyfriend who gave her a million a month.

It was no secret that her life goal was to be a blissful leech that didn’t have to worry about working. She simply wanted to eat well, sleep well, and play all she liked.

Jennie thought of Jisoo and got a little excited. After a short pause, she said, “He does have an elder brother?”

“Elder brother? That’s good.” Rosé grinned. “Are they biological brothers? From the same womb?”

“Mm, biological brothers.” And he’s your other male crush, Jennie added in her head.

“Have you seen him? Is he handsome? How’s his physique? Is it as good as Prince Charming’s?”

Jennie considered it carefully before saying, “He’s rather handsome, and his physique is pretty good too. As for whether he’s as good as your Prince Charming…”

She teased. “I think he’s about as good as your ex-male crush, Jisoo.”

She’d seen Jisoo on television before.

“As good as Jisoo?” Rosé seemed more serious now. “Are you sure? You aren’t lying to me? He’s that handsome?”

Jennie nodded. “Mm, I’m sure.”

How could she not be sure?

She was referring to Jisoo himself!

She wondered how Rosé would react if she really got to meet Jisoo in person.

She wouldn’t dare to be so star-struck and silly in front of him.

After all, as handsome as Jisoo was, he was the serious sort of man that intimidated the rest in his department.

Even if they were greeted with that sort of handsome face, it would be hard not to stagger back when they sensed the coldness around him.

“Is he still single?”

Jennie didn’t want to confirm things so soon. “I guess so.”

She hadn’t heard of him having a girlfriend before.

Moreover, he was always so busy traveling. He probably didn’t have time to date anyone.

Rosé grabbed Jennie’s hand across the table and said very seriously, “Baby, if you knew of such a good deal beforehand, why haven’t you told me about it earlier?

“If you married your Prince Charming while I married his brother, we’d be in-laws. Best friends becoming sisters-in-law, isn’t that great?

“When we become a family, we’ll be even closer than we are now, don’t you think?”

Jennie replied, “… Mm.”

“So, for the sake of my lifetime happiness, and for our friendship to be even stronger, you’ve got to help your best friend.”

Jennie looked at Rosé’s serious expression and couldn’t tell if she was kidding or not.

If possible, she would want Rosé as her in-law too.

This was probably the best sisters-in-law relationship anyone could have.

But, Rosé and Jisoo?

It didn’t seem like the best pairing…

Rosé was so loud and candid and enjoyed the thrill and excitement. Would she like a serious and stern man like Jisoo?

Moreover, if she wanted to introduce them to each other, she’d have to ask Lisa if Jisoo was really single, to begin with, and what other considerations he might have.

“Rosé, are you being serious?” Jennie asked. “You really want to know his brother?”

“I do.”

Rosé grinned. “A man on the same level as Jisoo must be a hunk. I definitely want to know him. Even if he doesn’t fall for me and we can’t be a couple, it’s not a bad thing to be friends with him.”

Jennie was speechless.

Alright, it seemed like Rosé wasn’t entirely serious.

She just wanted to know a handsome guy.

After seeing through her, Jennie couldn’t be bothered to entertain her further.

“Eh?”

Rosé was looking at the decor of the restaurant, but a shocked expression took over when she saw a familiar silhouette.

She widened her eyes and shook Jennie’s forearm. “Jennie, look at that. Is that Hanbin?”

“Hanbin?”

Upon hearing Rosé mention Hanbin, Jennie immediately turned to look in that direction too.

A few seconds later, her eyes widened in disbelief.

There was a couple not too far away from them.

Both the guy and the girl looked rather young, probably aged 16 or 17.

The man was in a white top and white pants. He was lean-built and had a rather wholesome look that put him above average among men.

He was even better looking than some of the young guys in the entertainment film.

The girl beside him was dressed rather fashionably and decked in branded goods from head to toe. Her brown, wavy hair was clipped up with a pink hair clip.

She looked youthful, and her skin glowed healthily.

Both of them seemed to be a good match.

The guy was at least 1.80m tall, and the girl was only at his shoulder height. She seemed petite and dainty beside him.

Jennie watched as the waiter guided the guy and girl to a table.

The waiter politely pulled out a chair.

The girl seemed very used to such service and gracefully took a seat while holding her skirt up slightly.

The waiter then went over to the other side and pulled out the chair for the guy.

But the guy did not move. Instead, he was looking at the girl a little unpleasantly.

“Whoa, what’s going on!” Rosé was keeping her eyes on Hanbin. “Is Hanbin on a date with that girl? Jennie, when did Hanbin have a girlfriend? Do you know about this?”

Jennie had no idea.

This was the first time she saw a girl by Hanbin’s side too.

She was equally shocked.

There were a hundred questions in her head. The largest of all was the relationship between this girl and Hanbin.

“Based on my speculation at first glance, this girl with Hanbin is definitely from a well-to-do family, and in fact, the ultra-rich sort. Her hair clip is the newest design from Brand C. It’s studded with pink diamonds and costs hundreds of thousands of yuan. Her pink dress is also Brand C’s latest design and costs upwards of a six-digit figure too. And the bracelet, shoes, and that bag too… they’re all luxury items.

“Tsk, her entire outfit would cost about 800,000 yuan at the very least. And the way the waiter serves her, it seems like he knows who she is. An average rich person doesn’t get such treatment.

“Hanbin is pretty good at this. He actually quietly got himself a rich and beautiful girlfriend and kept it from us. He’d only just got out of the hospital a while ago and already managed to get a date with this girl? Well, a young couple is always cute. But Hanbin doesn’t seem too happy. Could they have had a tiff?

“Jennie, should we go over and say hi?”

Jennie kept quiet.

She tried sizing that girl up.

Just as Rosé had said, that girl was dressed in branded goods from head to toe. It was obvious that her family was extremely wealthy.

She was likely the Young Miss of a rich family.

Jennie looked at her for a while more and then raised a brow.

Why did she find that girl so familiar?

Right opposite them.

Hanbin had no idea that his sister had been watching him for a while now.

He pursed his lips as he looked at the girl in her seat with some impatience in his eyes. “Somi, didn’t you say that other classmates are coming? Where are they?”

The girl smiled and said sweetly, “Hanbin, are you playing dumb? There aren’t any other classmates. It’s just you and me.”

“What?” Hanbin was shocked, and then some anger crept into his eyes. “Didn’t you say…”

“I lied to you.” The girl smiled again. “If I hadn’t said that, would you have come?”

“Alright, don’t glare at me like that anymore. I did all of this just to have a proper date with you. I tried asking you out so many times, but you kept rejecting me. I had no choice but to make this up to get you here.”

Hanbin said angrily, “You…”

“What about it?”

The girl tipped her chin up slightly. “Since you’re already here, then have a good meal with me first. Don’t keep standing around. Others are watching us.”

Hanbin was furious.

How could Somi lie to him?

She said that it was her birthday and that she’d invited some friends for a celebration, including some of Hanbin’s good friends.

He guessed that Somi wouldn’t do anything overboard in the presence of their classmates, so he agreed to come after some consideration.

Hanbin had been avoiding Somi and trying his best not to spend time with her alone.

Now that he found out Somi had been lying to him, why would he want to stay?

“Young Lady Somi, you can eat on your own. I’m not interested in staying. I’ve another appointment. I…”

Before Hanbin could finish his sentence, Somi laughed. “Hanbin, if you don’t eat with me, I’ll let everyone in school know about you peeping at my body.

“By then, the whole school will think of you as a pervert.

“What do you think about that?”

Hanbin understood what she was referring to and went red with anger and embarrassment. “That was a misunderstanding. I didn’t peep!”

“I don’t care if you did.” Somi picked up the cup of coffee on the table and took a sip. “Anyway, the final story is that you did see my body and take advantage of me. Don’t you dare deny this, I have a voice recording of our conversation.”

Hanbin looked astonished. “You recorded it?”

“That’s right.” Somi smiled sweetly. “If I hadn’t done it, what am I to do if you deny it? Student Hanbin, I’m not being demanding here. Just have a meal with me, and I’ll let you go. Don’t look as if you’re at a disadvantage and being put in such a tough spot. Don’t you think it’s an enjoyment to spend time with a beautiful girl at such a classy restaurant?”

Hanbin looked at her, took a deep breath, and clenched his fists. He tried to fight the anger in him.

He’d never met someone as thick-skinned as Somi.

He had already tactfully and kindly rejected her so many times, but she refused to let him off.

This girl had no shame at all and was willing to spout even the most twisted words just to achieve her goal.

Of course, he wouldn’t do something like peeping at a girl’s body.

But that night…

Hanbin turned red as he recalled what took place that night.

He hadn’t done it deliberately, but he did see Somi’s body, even though it was just her bare back.

The image of her fair skin drifted in his mind, bothering him.

“Come on, stop being so wishy-washy. You’re a guy, just agree to it.” Somi got up and tiptoed, giving him a peck on the cheek.

Hanbin stiffened as his eyes widened.

Seeing that he was in a daze, Somi took the opportunity and forced him into his seat.

This entire scene… was witnessed in full by Jennie and Rosé.

“What the heck.”

Rosé was so agitated. “She kissed him? Then that means they’re definitely a couple. Hanbin is pretty good at this, huh, landing such a good catch so quietly. The girl is taking so much initiative. She must like him a lot.

“But Hanbin’s looks really are the sort to attract young girls.”

Jennie initially wasn’t sure about Hanbin’s relationship with that girl.

But seeing how he hadn’t even evaded her or pushed her away when the girl tiptoed to kiss him, she confirmed her speculation that they were indeed an item.

But if she really was his girlfriend, why hadn’t she seen this girl visit Hanbin before when he was hospitalized?

And if she wasn’t actually his girlfriend, then how could she explain what had just happened?

Hanbin was her brother, and she knew him best.

The fact that he hadn’t pushed the girl away already said it all.

But it was also because she knew Hanbin so well that she found it impossible for them to be a couple.

Given Hanbin’s character, he wouldn’t get himself a girlfriend after finding out that he had a heart condition.

Moreover, they shared a close sibling bond, and Hanbin would tell her anything and everything.

He hadn’t ever mentioned this girl to her, though.

Jennie could barely take it any longer.

She wanted to go over to Hanbin and ask him what this was all about. But it didn’t seem appropriate.

She thought for a while before sending Hanbin a message: [Hanbin, where are you?]

The moment she sent it, she saw Hanbin pick up his cell phone.

She received a reply in less than a minute.

Hanbin: [Sis, I’m having a meal with my classmate.]

Jennie: [Classmate? Guy or girl?]

She looked up and saw Hanbin looking a little taken aback as he read the message.

She waited for a while more before his reply came in: [Girl.]

Jennie couldn’t help but smile as she saw his reply.

Haha, he was still an honest lad.

Jennie was thinking about sending him another message when she saw a familiar silhouette in her peripheral vision.

She looked up and furrowed her brows right away.

What was with her luck today?

She bumped into Nancy at the auditions.

And she bumped into Krystal at the restaurant.

She should’ve checked if this was going to be a bad day for her to leave the house.

Rosé noticed Jennie’s expression and looked up too, asking curiously, “You know that woman in the black dress? Who is she?”

Jennie replied calmly, “Mm, I do know her. She’s Lisa’s friend.”

“Prince Charming’s friend?” Rosé eyed Krystal for a while longer.

“This friend of his is rather pretty.” She made an objective comment.

In terms of looks, her Baby was still a notch better.

But this woman was of a different breed.

Her Baby was a little more childlike, while the woman in the black dress seemed more feminine and mature.

The latter… was the type most men liked.

It was worrying that Prince Charming had such a pretty female friend.

“Mm, she’s pretty.” Jennie agreed objectively as well.

Although she didn’t quite like Krystal as a person, she didn’t deny that she was good-looking.

She had good looks, a good family background, and a good education. She surely was the “Goddess” in many men’s eyes.

*

“Miss Krystal, this way, please.” The waiter politely led her to her reserved seat.

Krystal followed behind him and suddenly stopped in her tracks.

She turned around and looked at the table she was walking past. Her eyes widened as she called out in shock, “Somi?”

Somi, talking to Hanbin, was a little startled. Her expression slightly changed as she greeted her. “Sis.”

Krystal looked at her and then at Hanbin beside her. She frowned as her voice got more serious. “Somi, what are you doing here? And who’s this boy beside you?”

Somi looked a little flustered for a moment but quickly calmed herself.

She smiled and got up to introduce him to Krystal. “Sis, I’m here for a meal. This is my classmate. He’s called Kim Hanbin. Hanbin, this is my sister Krystal.”

Hanbin also got up out of civility.

He nodded towards Krystal and greeted her. “Hello, Miss Krystal.”

Krystal’s brows were raised slightly as she heard his name. She looked at him and asked, “Hanbin? Are you the only son in your family?”

This was a strange question.

Even Somi was confused by it.

But Hanbin politely responded, “No, I have two elder sisters.”

“Two elder sisters?”

“Yes.”

Krystal’s expression was even weirder after she heard his reply.

A flurry of emotions seemed to flash past her eyes as she eyed Hanbin for a few seconds. She then suddenly turned to Somi and chided. “Somi, go home right now.”

“Sis.” Somi furrowed her brows. “I’m just having a meal with my friend. Why are you acting all weird?”

“Just do as I say, don’t talk back to me!” Krystal asserted her dominance. “Go home right now. Otherwise, I’ll get Dad to deduct your allowance for this month. Do you hear me!”

Somi was a pampered princess at home.

Her parents all the more indulged her because she was the youngest child.

Krystal pretty much did the same for this sister of hers too.

Having been treated like a precious gem since she was a child, Somi had never felt aggrieved or pained at all.

But now, she was being yelled at by her sister who’d always given in to her, and in such a ferocious tone at that. Somi’s eyes turned red as she tipped her chin up defiantly. “Sis, you can dine here, so why can’t I? I’m not going back.

“Why did you flare up at me for no reason? Hmph, you’re being ridiculous.”

Krystal’s expression turned awful. “Are you going back or not?!”

Somi was a little afraid of her sister, but she kept her head up indignantly. “No, I’m not.”

She then turned around to look at Hanbin, ignoring Krystal’s darkened expression. She smiled at Hanbin and said, “Student Hanbin, ignore my sister. Let’s get seated and order our food. This place is known for…”

She introduced Hanbin to the place’s signature dishes.

But she was just starting out when she felt a sharp pain on her wrist.

Krystal’s eyes were filled with flames of fury as she dragged her out of her seat. “Somi, I’m telling you to go back with me now!”

Somi’s skin was rather tender, and her wrist turned a bright red from this grappling. Her eyes also got red and teary as she yelled, “Sis, it hurts. Let go of me!”

Krystal did not flinch. Instead, she pulled even harder and tried to get her out of the restaurant.

“Sis, let go of me. It hurts, it really hurts…” Somi was struggling and on the verge of tears.

Krystal didn’t seem to realize it, though.

But a while later, she felt someone’s hand on her arm too.

“Miss Krystal, please hold on.” Hanbin had no idea why, but he couldn’t bear to see Somi’s tears.

He hadn’t even expected himself to do this.

Krystal stiffened.

A few seconds later, she turned around slowly.

Hanbin released her arm the moment she stopped moving.

“This… Student Hanbin, do you have anything to say?” Krystal glared at him coldly and with some hatred.

Hanbin saw that she was still grabbing Somi’s wrist tightly and hesitated for a while before politely saying, “Miss Krystal, Somi’s wrist is already turning red, and she said that it hurts. Shouldn’t you be letting go of her?”

Somi looked up at him in shock.

It was as if she never expected him to help her out.

After all, she was an annoying girl in his eyes, and he never really had a good impression of her.

“And how’s that your business?” Krystal sounded overbearing. “This is between my sister and me. Don’t you feel like a busybody here?”

Somi looked at Krystal in confusion.

She was completely shocked and baffled by her sister.

This elder sister of hers had always been very particular about etiquette and manners and always presented herself gracefully and elegantly.

No matter who she spoke to, it was always with politeness and gentleness.

This was the first time Somi had seen her sister speak so rudely to anyone.

And this person was her classmate.

She’d brought classmates home before.

But Krystal had never acted this way.

Why was she so rude and harsh to Hanbin?

This wasn’t like her at all.

Hanbin was stunned too. He looked at Somi with a flurry of emotions in his eyes and then took a deep breath. “Somi is my classmate. I don’t think I’m being a busybody here. She’s your biological sister, but you shouldn’t be treating her like this.

“Miss Krystal, please let go of her.”

Krystal pursed her lips and eyed Hanbin deviously. She suddenly smirked and said, “Are all you Kim family members so shameless?”

“What did you say?” Hanbin’s expression changed instantly.

Vengeance seeped into Krystal’s eyes.

Jennie had already taken her beloved man away from her.

And now she wanted her brother with a heart condition to seduce her sister and take advantage of the Jung Family?

Why were the Kim family members all so shameless?

All of them were trying so hard to marry into rich families.

Had they gone insane from being poor for too long?

The Manoban and Jung families were amongst the richest and most powerful families in Yuncheng City. Were they trying to fish for both at once?

When Lisa met Jennie, she’d still been overseas and hadn’t made it back in time to stop it from developing.

But now that she’d seen it for herself, she couldn’t possibly let the Kim family continue to have their way.

Somi had been brought up in a greenhouse all her life. She’d never been presented to harsh conditions and thus saw the world as a beautiful place filled with kind people.

Her mindset was too naive, and that made her an easy target for others.

Jennie managed to get Lisa to marry her, that was how scheming she was! How much better could her brother be?

Her sister’s words completely shook Somi.

It sounded like her sister knew the Kim family.

And that there was a conflict between her and them?

What exactly was going on?

“Miss Krystal, what do you mean by that? That our Kim family members are shameless?” Hanbin was angered by Krystal and didn’t watch his manners anymore.

Krystal looked at him with disdain. “I meant exactly what I said, simple as that. Hanbin, I’m warning you, you’d better stay away from Somi in the future. The Jung Family daughters are out of your reach. Somi is too innocent to think about anything, but I know what you’re plotting.

“Don’t you dare think that you can fool her with that pretty face of yours, get into the Jung Family, and easily climb the social ladder.

“Dream on! Somi already has a fiancé. Her future husband will only be that rich man who comes from a family of equal standing to ours, not a poor boy like you.” Krystal felt a wave of hatred surge inside her as she looked at Hanbin’s pale but handsome face.

Jennie had entranced Lisa with that face of hers too.

Now her brother was trying to do the same.

This sibling duo was utterly shameless!

Using their looks to fool others was a low and outdated approach.

“Sis, it’s not what you think…” Somi looked flustered as she turned to Hanbin and tried to explain things to her sister. “Hanbin isn’t fooling me. I’m the one who’s taking the initiative to pursue him. You’ve misunderstood him.”

Somi couldn’t believe that her sister, the one person who emphasized image, respect, and civility so greatly, could utter such curt and irrational words.

She couldn’t even start to imagine how angry Hanbin felt to hear those.

“Even if you’re the one taking the initiative, it must be him who led you along.” Krystal thought about Jennie each time she looked at Hanbin.

She recalled every single word Lisa said to her that day.

He was willing to give up the 20 years of friendship and ties just for Jennie alone.

That woman was a vixen.

Entrancing him so wholly.

He had no one else but Jennie in his heart anymore.

But before Jennie’s appearance, she had been the only woman by his side. That special, exclusive treatment was rightfully hers.

But now, everything had changed.

The man she’d loved for 20 years was being taken away by a woman inferior to her in every way.

How could she take it lying down?

Krystal vented all her frustrations at Jennie on Hanbin. Her words got harsher as she lost rationality with each passing moment. “You’re so young but so very scheming already. The Kim family upbringing must have been about using your comparative advantage to gain interests and power for yourselves, huh?”

“Your sister is pretty good at that.”

At this point, Hanbin was clenching with fists as he trembled.

If it wasn’t for the fact that he never hit women, he’d have punched Krystal in the face.

He wasn’t the sort to get hot-tempered easily, but he couldn’t deal with being humiliated and insulted for no reason at all.

Especially when Krystal mentioned Jennie.

Hanbin could never tolerate anyone putting his sister down.

It was more intolerable than insulting him.

“Don’t you bloody spout nonsense like that. What’s with my sister? I’m telling you, I’ve had enough of your insults. If you continue talking bad about my sister, it won’t matter that you’re a lady, I’ll hit you all the same!

“My sister is a hundred times better than a filthy-mouthed woman like you. You’re not fit to talk about her this way.

“Also.” He cracked his knuckles and gave Krystal a death glare. “We have no interest in the Jung Family at all. Your so-called ‘powerful family’ is nothing more than bullshit in my eyes.

“You think everyone’s like you, viewing dogshit as something so precious and important.

“Since your younger sister is already engaged, then tell her that she should know her place and watch her boundaries in the future, and stop harassing me all day. She’s been harassing me from First Year till Third Year. I’m done with her. Don’t you ever think that I’m trying to marry someone from your family. Even if every woman on Earth is dead, I wouldn’t even take a second look at the Jung Family daughters.”

Hanbin was losing his mind from all the anger.

He had no interest in Somi at all.

But this woman had been harassing him for so long and insisting on making him her boyfriend.

And yet, her arrogant sister was making him sound like a beggar. Hanbin couldn’t take it lying down.

In a fit of anger, he’d lost rationality as he spoke.

The moment he was done talking, he saw tears well up in Somi’s eyes. She bit her lip and looked at him, hurt.

She blinked, and tears immediately rolled down her fair, slightly blushed cheeks.

There was a look of disbelief in her eyes.

It was as if she couldn’t believe that Hanbin would say something like that.

The moment their eyes met, Hanbin was stunned. Annoyance and frustration grew in his heart.

He started to regret his spiteful words.

Although he’d rejected Somi many times before, this was the first time he’d made it sound so awful.

As a pampered little girl, how could she possibly bear to hear that?

Hanbin knew that he was very hurtful with his words.

And that was why the guilt and regret came easily when he saw Somi’s tears.

Yet, from another point of view, this wasn’t a bad thing.

He might as well take this opportunity to thrash things out.

Since she never took his tactful rejections seriously, it might do her good to be struck with such harsh words.

After all, she’d been pampered for so many years as the Young Miss of a rich household. She wouldn’t possibly go on harassing him after he’d trampled over her dignity.

With this thought, Hanbin clenched his fists and made a tough decision. “Somi, please let me off. Stop harassing me. I don’t want to carry the name of wanting to be a part of the ‘classy and powerful Jung Family.’ Neither do I want to come between you and your fiancé.”

“I don’t have a fiancé,” Somi said through her tears.

She could tell that this time, Hanbin was truly annoyed by her.

He wouldn’t bother about her in the future.

“That’s none of my business.” Hanbin’s voice was cold. “If you harass me again next time, I’m not going to be nice about it.”

Somi bit her lip, unable to say another word as the tears continued to come out.

Krystal’s expression was awful.

She’d thought that it was Hanbin pursuing Somi.

Her younger sister had such high standards and hadn’t even taken an interest in any of the rich, handsome, and outstanding young men they knew.

Why would she fall for a weak and poor boy?

But upon hearing Hanbin’s words and then seeing Somi’s reaction, she started to understand what was going on.

It really was Somi who proactively chased him.

And Hanbin really didn’t seem to like her.

Krystal immediately felt embarrassed.

She shot Somi a glare and was about to say something when she heard a familiar voice. “Miss Krystal, so this is the upbringing of the Jung Family. Now I’ve witnessed the supposed etiquette and politeness of a wealthy and powerful family.”

Krystal looked up and saw Jennie standing right behind Hanbin, looking blankly at her.

Hanbin was stunned as well. “Sis, w-what are you doing here?”

He widened his eyes, looking badly startled.

He then saw Rosé as well. He suffered yet another shock. “Rosé, you’re here too?”

“Yeah, Hanbin. I haven’t seen you in a while. Do you miss me?” Rosé grinned at him.

She looked directly at him.

Hanbin was a little embarrassed.

Rosé knew that this wasn’t the right time to tease him and so did not carry this further.

She looked up and kept her smile as she looked at Krystal. She sneered and said, “The Jung Family, could this be the richest Jung Family in Yuncheng City? Then this must be Young Lady Krystal? I heard that Young Lady Krystal is a gentle, gracious, and mature woman who’s knowledgeable and courteous. Why is it that the woman I’ve just met turned out to be a crude and insane woman with no proper upbringing and manners at all?

“Baby, are you sure she’s from a well-known and well-to-do family, and not just some nouveau riche household?”

Rosé had never lost to anyone in an argument.

She was a formidable fighter in this field.

And her favorite thing to do was to tear apart the pretty white lily, to punch the scheming bitch in the gut.

She’d heard part of what Krystal said to Hanbin.

She was so furious she almost gave Krystal two slaps on the face.

What bullshit gracious woman was she.

Her filthy mouth was disgusting.

She actually said that their handsome and adorable Hanbin was seducing her younger sister and trying to be a part of the rich Jung Family.

Ew!

She was way too arrogant.

Did she think that every other person wanted to be a part of them? Their Hanbin definitely wasn’t one of those people!

She couldn’t believe that this belle, who’d always been known to be mature and elegant, turned out to be someone like that. This was so different from what she’d heard.

It was indeed true that one had to see it to believe it. All other rumors were falsifiable.

Having a belle of this standard was really a disgrace to the other belles.

Jennie had never thought of confronting Krystal head-on.

After all, Krystal was Lisa’s friend. She didn’t want to make things ugly or strain their friendship.

So she hadn’t even told Lisa anything that Krystal had said to her.

But now it seemed like she’d been too considerate.

She was clear now that all her concerns were superfluous.
