While we were outside the Palace, Lady Cynthia was walking right next to me.
" Your imperial highness, may I know if Althea have been doing well? " Lady Cynthia says while we were walking.
" My daughter is doing just fine, the servants are taking good care of her and I often would visit her in her room to check how she's feeling." I said with a smile and I noticed that she nodded her head.
" That is good to hear your imperial highness, I hope that even days, months and years will passes by you will not abandon my dear little Thea." Lady Cynthia says and I turn around to look at her.
" My daughter is the only thing I have my lady, no one can ever replace my daughter's existence." I said and she smiled.
" It seems like you quite loved your daughter very much, I hope this kind of relationship you have with Althea will never fades away and will only grow stronger. " Lady Cynthia says
" Of course. " I said with a smile.
" Ah, I heard that the academy will be opening soon, will you send her to go to the academy, your imperial highness? " Lady Cynthia

But it was no other than the crown prince of this empire.
" Thia~ are you leaving now? " Prince Lucien says with a smile on his face, I looked at the Lady who have an expressionless face, staring directly into the crown prince's eye.
" Could you not see that I'm about to leave now, your highness? " Lady Cynthia says
" Or are you now blind? Which one, you choose your highness." Lady Cynthia says with a forced smile on her face and I can't help but to chuckled.
( Hahaha... Showing such attitude in front of a member of a Royal Family, quite bold.)
" Thia~ why are you being so cold~? You were not originally like this before Thia." Prince Lucien says standing just a meter away from us.
" I don't like explaining your highness, I'm quite exhausted today, so please excuse me, I will have to leave first." Lady Cynthia says and when she was about to turn around and leave.
Prince Lucien immediately stopped Lady Cynthia by holding her from her arm while I'm still here, watching what they're doing.
" What are you doing?! " Lady Cynthia says
" Let go of me your highness." Lady Cynthia says but he didn't listened and instead, he smiled at her.
" Thia, let's talk about something right now." Prince Lucien says and then I looked at the lady's face, she looked quite annoyed.
" I said, let go of me your highness, if you have anything to talk about with me, then say it right here right now." Lady Cynthia says
" I'm a very busy person your highness, so please just give me a summary to everything you'll say to me and I hope that this is an important thing that you wanted to talk about." Lady Cynthia
" Thia, have you lose your mind somewhere already!? Why'd you do something like that!?! " Prince Lucien says while I just keep on watching the two of them as if I was a side character.
" What do you mean, your highness? " Lady Cynthia says while she tilted her head.
" You went to see the Emperor and asked for canceling our marriage! " Prince Lucien
( Oh, so he's upset about it? )
" Why are you so upset your highness? " Lady Cynthia says, staring right at him.
" Don't you like the idea of not going to get married with a woman like me? " Lady Cynthia
" Besides, you agreed to break off the engagement with me just an hour ago, so what is this tantrums your highness? " Lady Cynthia
" Cynthia! " Prince Lucien
" Weren't you the one who wanted to marry me!? Isn't this the reason why you—" Prince Lucien says but was then interrupted by the Lady.
" Your highness, I have realized that I would never be happy getting married to a person like you. " Lady Cynthia says with such serious look on her face.
" I would never get the happiness I have always wanted if I'll marry you your highness." Lady Cynthia
" I mean, I don't like sharing the person that I love from someone else, but you? " Lady Cynthia
" You're always surrounded by lots of women, you were never contented and if I imagine the life that I will have if I marry you... " Lady Cynthia
" I'd be stressed from thinking who and which woman you'll be sleeping with everyday! I hated that! I can't find happiness if I keep looking at the wrong place, your highness. " Lady Cynthia
" And I'm clearly looking at the wrong place and at the wrong person. " Lady Cynthia
" That is why I have decided that I would not marry you and asked the emperor to break off our engagement, the emperor agreed. " Lady Cynthia says while Prince Lucien was just listening to her until he looked at me.
" Thia," Prince Lucien says while he was still staring at me, and so I stared back.
" Are you replacing me with the man whose standing right next to you??? " Prince Lucien says
( What? )
" Pardon??? " I said and then I looked at the Lady and she was also looking at me, both of us then looked at crown prince.
" What? " Lady Cynthia says
" Cynthia, are you actually thinking of replacing me with someone like him??? How ridiculous." Prince Lucien says as he was staring at me.
( Is he looking down at me? )
( I could easily raise the war flag to destroy this empire and behead this annoying crown pest.)
" Your highness, you're being rude to Archduke Willard, he's a great arch mage of Khisfire Elzura Kingdom." Lady Cynthia says
" Our empire has the bets of best arch mages and I have never heard of his name, must be some nobody." Prince Lucien says with a smirk on his face and I just sighed.
I then turned around to look at Lady Cynthia with a smile and ignored this man right here.
" My lady, would you care to join with me having dinner in my villa with Althea? " I said with a smile on my face and to which Lady Cynthia smiled.
" Oh my~ I absolutely loved the invitation your imperial highness," Lady Cynthia says and I nodded my head.
" Well then, shall we take our leave my lady? I'm sure Thea would be delighted to see you once we arrived in the villa." I said with a smile and when I offered my hand to the lady, the crown prince of this empire has once again stopped the lady.
" What?! " Lady Cynthia says.
" Stop this right now." Prince Lucien says and he grabbed Lady Cynthia from her arm so hard and pulled her closer to him which I frowned.
" Thia, I know you're acting like this just to get my attention right??? " Prince Lucien says
" Well look, I'm right here, you don't have to this anymore Thia. " He says with a smile while the Lady tried to remove his hand from her arm.
" Thia, I know you very well, this is not how you are supposed to be Thia, come on stop this right now. " He says
" And what's up with you replacing me with someone like him? " He says and I raised an eyebrow at him.
( This man did not just called me 'someone' didn't he? )
( Should I just destroy his entire family??? )
" Your highness, I will never chase anymore, I will replace them, remember that." Lady Cynthia says
" Once I stop caring you're not going to get it back." Lady Cynthia says and I nodded my head in agreeing to what she have just said.
" Starting today your highness, we're not engage." Lady Cynthia
" We both lost something, your highness. " Lady Cynthia says
" You lost me and I lost time. " Lady Cynthia says
" Just so you know your highness, I don't have time to let you understand my worth anymore, " Lady Cynthia says
" Either you will recognize it and treat me right or be cut off, you choose. " Lady Cynthia says and then she walked away from him but she was once again stopped by the crown prince.
" Cynthia! Don't make me get angry! " Prince Lucien says and to which I stepped in, this drama between this two will only get longer if I won't stop them.
I grabbed the crown prince's hand and forcefully take his hand off from the Lady.
" Touch her," I said while looking at the crown prince with a look on my face
" And I'll break your neck." I said
" Are you threatening me?! The crown prince of this empire!?! " He says and I smiled.
" Oh? Does it sounded like I was complimenting you, your highness? " I said with a smile.
" Or should I make an example out from your knight whose standing right behind you? "I said with a smile and he didn't even answered back and just stared at me.
" Thia, if you go with him, I'll make you regret it." Prince Lucien says and then I looked at the lady but she smiled at him.
" Your imperial highness," Lady Cynthia says
" Yes, my lady? " I said while looking at her,
" Do you think Althea likes to eat sweet cakes? Should we stop by and buy a gift for her? She will absolutely love it. " Lady Cynthia says and I thought about it for a second.
( I think my daughter would definitely like eating sweet cakes.)
( Though she likes pudding, she loves eating pudding when she was just four.)
( But now that she is six, she is starting to show that she likes tarts more than pudding.)
" Should we then? I think my daughter would love to eat tarts, the strawberry one." I said with a smile.
" Then shall we go, your imperial highness? I bet Althea is waiting right now. " Lady Cynthia says and we both walked away from the crown prince.
