Unlike other games, one does not need to "chip away" an enemy's health points to kill them. Fatally wounding an enemy instantly depletes every health point, for example, slitting a human's throat.
However, health points do determine how much my body can take.
One normal hit is enough to send me to the afterlife...
I get up and pull the curtains aside, letting the sunlight into the room. The room only has a bed and wardrobe but both are of excellent quality.

"I'm awake," I say.
The door swings open.
"Good morning sir, Melissa is in her office. I am here to escort you." a beautiful voluptuous woman with braided green hair and emerald eyes says.
I nod and follow her.
The woman brings me to an office. The desk opposite the door has stack after stack of paperwork. Behind the tower of documents is a small Melissa.
Melissa puts her feather pen away and stands up. "Good morning! How was the night? Pardon my subordinate yesterday, he had too much on his mind."
"It's alright."
Melissa takes out a storage ring and points at mine, trying to transfer some items. Unfortunately, my storage ring is full...
"...If you don't mind, can I buy that storage ring?" I ask.

Melissa sighs. "It is likely to investigate your origin...and confirm your strength. But don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you now that you are one of us."

I leave Melissa alone after she hands me the invitation envelope. The voluptuous woman stands outside the room and smiles at me.
"Congratulations, Mr Arsto. I'm Audrey, I can be your guide for today." Audrey extends her hand. I take her soft hand.
"I see, thank you."
She walks ahead and gestures for me to follow her. Now that I am behind, I notice a small mole at her nape.

The short tour was Audrey showing me around the station and talking about their duties. Now that I am a contract warrior, I have the same authority as regular officers but have more freedom at a reward opportunity cost; I may choose to reject a mission and pick another.
"I will go now, if you have any more questions, you can ask me if you see me around!" says Audrey.

Audrey bows politely and leaves, I return the bow.
