Dazai rolled his eyes as they kept walking and discussing. Chuuya holded his jacket over his shoulder in front of the prodigy demon, both clearly in the range of 17-18. The two were given different missions that are clearly gonna keep them apart for a hot minute. Mori was obviously planning something but it was weird why he did it with both of them together. What purpose would that be? Not like they interfere with any personal work given-
The short ginger though, knew why. Dazai was the why in the situation. He has become much tamer and closer with chuuya as much as they argue. The dang prodigy been healthier cause of him and oda. They literally share a room and bed; Dazai kept barging in when younger and is just normal now. Chuuya was the one who told him just to live with him as a joke which Dazai jumped right on. The ginger doesn't regret it-
"Chuuya-kun!"
"shes here to pick you up"
"Of course she is" Dazai had stopped walking as chuuya kept going "Just call or text if you are lonely"
"Like hell i will"
"Sure thing.. Later shitty mackerel"
"I will make sure to not burn your room slug"
Chuuya chuckled a bit amused while Dazai never took his eyes off him. Will he be okay? Alone in the room? He could stay with Odasaku though.. Thoughts only filled his head up not even noticing the ginger glancing at him. Chuuya groaned moving quickly back making Kouyou raised an eyebrow. Dazai blinked back to reality as a soft press left his lips-
"Don't do anything stupid Osamu or i will personally kill you...."
".. yes"
Dazai just put a hand to his mouth not knowing what to say or do. His partner just... Kouyou was even giving them a wide eye look. Chuuya has given him affection like that before but not on the lips. There was no reason too. They aren't like that one bit.. so why? Why did it make him all airy in the stomach? A small smile drifted to his face with some redness under his eyes as a bad possessive thought came to him-
"Don't say anything"
"But chuuya..."
"We aren't together Ane-san.... I just have a bad feeling"
"... So do I. Dazai birthday is tomorrow and he does this.."
"Exactly"
Chuuya glanced while walking again getting his cheeks to heat up. He was still in the same spot waving his other hand; that's a dangerous look. Too dangerous but so adoring. He looked away quickly after seeing his answer, flustered. Kouyou just giggled behind her sleeve at the gingers actions. Maybe it is a good thing they are like that. Mori will not hear the end of her if they are destroyed; Chuuya is her little brother, maybe even a son, and student-
'I am gonna bug him every day hes gone' Dazai left, still in happiness 'When he returns, he better be prepared'
And so, the prodigy did. Bugged the ginger while they were away until he stopped. Stopped and never replied to any messages from the ginger who texted and called worried. Upon returning, the news of the betrayal, caged everything up in him and chuuya drowned himself in wine. His car blew up that same night too; Dazai did always hate it...
"Why do I do this to myself?" He was burning a note, balling his eyes out, not even caring about what it says "Get attached to things I know i can lose?"
