CHAPTER 07
AUTHOR 'S POV
Another week passed ! It was almost 7 in the evening.
Riya and keerthana were out for some grocery shopping and Aishwarya was finishing her last assignment for the weekend.
And Aditi was on the local basketball court after finishing her dance practice! She clapped her hands excitedly at the sight of aravind scoring a point.
The court was empty! It was just her on the side and the opposite side had few boys and girls who might be the friends of the other players.
A few more minutes passed and the game ended in a victory to aravind.
He walked towards Aditi removing his head band and panting hard, his face covered with sweat and he sat a stair below Aditi with his elbows on the above staircase.
"You did great! It..it was incredible especially the last shoot!" Aditi told excitedly as she opened her bag to pull out the water bottle as gave it to him.
Aravind poured half the bottle of water in his face still panting and Aditi looked at him in complete awe as he continued to drink the rest of the water
The way his Adam's apple moved along with every movement of his throat.
Those tattoos in his fingers and those rings complementing well with his tattoo, his royal blue jersey showed off his muscular arms and shoulders well.
"Thank you pringles!" He reliped after passing the empty water bottle to her.
Yep! He calls her Pringles cause she loves Pringles.
Give a bucket full of expensive perfume and gifts and she will still choose Pringles
Okay now.....
Water dripping in his face and the way aravind looked at the other players with rage and that's when Aditi noticed a small cut in his thumb finger.
"Thanks for coming today! You know you don't have to .."
"I want too.." she whispered
She passed her dupata to him as his face was still wet with sweat and water.
Aravind gladly accepted it and wiped his face!
The piece of cloth smelled like pure chocolate and cupcakes.
Her smell!
He looked over to find her removing a bandage from her bag!
Her big doe eyes fully focused on peeling that paper away from the bandage. Her forehead had just a pinch of red vermillion complementing well with her traditional yellow colour chudidar !She was gently biting her lower lip
She wrapped the bandage around his thumb and aravind looked at her in complete awe.
And after every match it was a routine for her to treat his tiny injuries! Though it did not matter much and hurt much to him!
Aditi hated seeing someone hurt! And that someone being aravind made the urge strong
She looked at him and raised her eyebrows !
"Shall we leave?" She asked mentioning the group study they do after each practice.
Aditi was a second year student and aravind was in final year!
She was blessed with good academic luck so she used to help aravind in his projects and tiny doubts!
Aravind looked at her with a sad part!
"I don't wanna study!" He whined
"You have no choice"
"Daii!!" One of aravind 's friends called him
Aravind and Aditi both turned around!
"Celebration?" The friend yelled and aravind turned towards Aditi in a slow-motion.
She was already staring at him with her eyes all small and hands folded across her chest looking like a strict teacher.
He pouted again and turned towards them !
"You guys continue" he yelled and Aravind could clearly hear his friends laugh teasingly .
Aravind always wondered what was running in her mind! He knew she liked him but how? Is it a just crush? Or something else ? Or what?
He wanted answers badly but something in him always stopped him in asking!
Maybe the fact that she is his sister's friend or maybe a fear that his irresponsible behaviour will end up hurting her just like how others get hurt.
He suddenly felt someone holding his hands , noticing it was Aditi his grip on her hand went tight as he helped her stand up from the stair.

They were now in a local library with a pile of books in front of them and aravind had changed into a white t-shirt and grey tracks.
Aravind had his hands on his cheeks and his elbows on the table looking at Aditi who was sincerely, seriously explaining him.
"One impulse from a vernal wood
May teach you more of man,
Of moral evil and of good,
Than all the sages can"
"Which means ~Nature will teach you more about life than any sage ever could!" Aditi told and continued to go on teaching

ll of sudden he dropped the pencil in his hand and Aditi stopped for a minute and looked at him raising her eyebrows
"You understood something?" She asked to which he nodded as no
"What were you doing the whole semester?"
"Looking at beautiful girls like you?" He relied on making her shake her head in disbelief.
"Okay now! Listen carefully this time okay?" She asked and started her classes again and aravind went back to his usual position.
But then something came in disturbance for his view!
Her front hair bangs fell on her face making it hard for him to get a clear view of hers.
He growled and slowly yet so gently blew air on her! Yet no process
It seemed like the bangs did not like him enjoying her beauty!
Frustration over took him and he lifted his index finger and pushed those bangs behind her ears making all the organs ,blood flow and brain stop functioning in her body!
She gave a nervous smile and picked the nearby pen a and used the cap as a clip and smiled at him again.
"Not that i finished a part shall i go out please?" Aravind asked just to escape that silence of hers
Just to escape the consequence of getting caught cause of staring at her.
There were plenty of girls around him! But never felt a emotion, a spark or even a tiny little butterfly but he was use that every girl around him would have felt and now that he feels this around Aditi!
Man wanted to escape the feelings!
"Shei!Run away!" Aditi whispered yelled as he pinched his muscular arms.
"Ouch! You little" saying so , aravind 's hands started tickling her making her laugh out loud.
Aditi was the most ticklish person in the gang!
"GUYS! SILENCE!" yelled the librarian making them stop and Aditi quickly packed the books and aravind helped her .
Making their way out from the library!
Aditi and arvind stood infront of each other!
Aditi had always hated and loved this part of the week!
She loved cause it was a part when she gets to be around him! And hated cause she have to wait for another entire week!
"Alright bye"
"Hey! Do you want me to drop you?" He asked and like always Aditi nodded as no .
Aravind kinda knew the answer hey he waited patiently to see her nod no
"Alright! Reach home and reach me" he told and started to wear his backpack and Aditi stood watching him .
He looked at he rone last time before heading out and leaned towards her.
Aditi could hear her own heart beat and feared he could also hear it.
Aravind slowly removed the pen cap from her hairs which she used as a clip and gave it to her making her breath in relief.
"Bye" he waved before going
And Aditi always stood there for another 10 mins wondering and recalling each and every action of his!
