CHAPTER SIXTEEN

The plan went smooth, they managed to get Silva the key, but nothing was happening. Silva wasn't trying to get out. "Nothing's happening.", Terra comments as the girls watched from the bushes. "He needs a distraction.", Sae concludes, her eyes starting to glow. "What are you doing?", Musa asks her as they all watch her pull the gas out of the tank of one of the cars in front. "Light it up.", she says, not even looking at Bloom. The fire started and they all started running before the car could explode.

The deafening sound of the explosin made them slow down, but they still kept on going, until they stopped by the river where they waited and watched Silva jump in the river. They watched Sky, Riven and Dane skid to a stop just at the edge, looking over the river looking for him. Aisha and Sae worked together on keeping the air for Silva while his under and Musa used her magic to see what and how he feels.

"He's calimng down.", Musa says as Sae nods. "How long can you guys keep him under?", Bloom asks. "Long enough for them to leave.", Aisha replies as Sae concentrates on her magic.

They wited for him to surface, and when he did, Terra almost immediately started taking care of his wounds from the arrows in his back. Silva shook his head. "I think this is the most reckless thing you have done."

Sae snorts as Terra says, "I don't think that's very true. Weren't you here last year?", she asks as the girls look between each other, reminiscing of the troubles they went through last year.  "Yeah, when Bloom went crazy and let  loose Evil Headmistress.", Musa commented, her eyes growing purple, she was helping Silva with the pain.

Sae shook her head as she watched with a small smile, but the tension grew in the group when Bloom looked down at the ground her brows furrowed. "So, what do we do now?", Sae asked, moving her eyes away from Bloom to Silva.

"Take me to Blackbridge.", he said it like it's the most simplest thing ever, as if either of the girls know who that is. But they decided to let Bloom go alone with Silva and they all returned to Alfea.

Sae was leaned on the door frame of her room, watching the girls help Flora, Terra's cousin (from what she gathered when Terra was talking), unpack her things. She was helping them to, she just stopped when it got too crowded.

When they started talking about that big, Devin, that had bit marks and is currently unconcious, and the twins that went missing, she turned on her heel and walked inside her room. She's stressed enough as it is, she doesn't need more stress added to that.

Stella just finished talking with someone on the phone, and Sae looked at her weirdly for a moment, before sitting on her bed. "What's up with you?",she asks her friend, Stella takes a deep breath, brushing the hair out of her face, before turning to her friend. "My mother."  Sae smiled knowingly.

"You?", Stella nodded towards her  her brows raised waiting for an answer. To other people it would look like Stella is very rude right now, but Sae knew her enough to know she isn't. "Most likely my father.", she takes out her phone waving it a bit, before tossing it on the bed. "I still didn't read the text I got a few days ago.", she pulls her lips, lightly biting them from anxiety.

"So we have to watch out for the whole damn Andors army outside. Got it.", Stella joked. And even though Sae smiled, a tight lipped smile, her chest felt like something was crushing her at the tought of her father actually coming here.

She hated the feeling  so she dismissed it, burying it deep inside her. She'll deal with it when it comes to her. Now she just needs to relax, and she knwo exactly where to find that.

Her feet carried her to the only room in the Specialist hall she knew. She stood before the door, contemplating if she should or shouldn't knock or just get in or just get the hell away from there. She was still confused on where the hell their friendship stood now, and what the hell happened last year.

But her memories were a jumbled mess, she was tired and anxious, she doesn't remember what is real and what isn't, from that awful night.

Just as she brought her hand up to knock, the doors opened, a smirking Dane abruptly stops in front of her when he sees her. "Uhh  hi.", he says, furrowing his brows a bit, a smirk playing on his lips as he looks to someone to his right. "We were just leaving.", he says and pushes past me as Sae stands there, confusion written all over her face. But that confusion soon turns to annoyance as Beatrix walks out of the door. Beatrix watches the taller girl wipping her lipstick with her tongue, even if isn't smudge a tiny bit. Her smirk grows as she watches Sae's frown deepen.

Sae sighs, pushing the door wider, before slamming them behind her, she doesn't look just heads staright to Sky's bed, knowing what might've gone on Rivne's "Didn't you say it's done and over with those two dimbwits?", she asks, plopping down on the bed, her eyes trailing over the room to find Riven. A shirtless Riven.

She had to physically stop herself from widening her eyes, light red grew across her cheeks as her eyes wandered around the room, before settling on the ground. She leaned her elbows on her knees, puffing the air in her cheeks. Now she's definitely sure they were doing something here.

"Why? You jealous?", Riven asks her, not really answering her question because he didn't know the answer to it. He wanted to stop hanging out with them, last year he hung with them less and less, and then over the winter break he just kept going back to them and whatever Beatrix asked them to do. He wasn't sure why  he was helping Beatrix with Rosalind - he doesn't even want to know what they're planning. He shakes his head, looking at Sae from the corner of his eye, chuckling when he sees her red face.

"Of who exactly?", Sae counters, but a sound from her phone stops him from answering as he watches her takes it to see who it is. Sae frustratedly pulled her hair back seeing her fathers name pop up on the screen as she shook her head, but it reminded her of why she was here in the first place.

She got up from her place and started pacing, looking at the her stupid phone, not really wanting to open the message to see what he wants. Riven quirked an eyebrow at her pacing, before clearing his throat so she would look at him. When she does he nods towards the dresser next to his bed. "t's in the drawer.", she smiles at him, walking towards the dresser. He knew exactly why she came here, and he couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed she came over just because of some weed.

He stepped in front of her, so he would be in between her and the dresser, he looked down on her as he crossed his arms over his chest. She raised her brows looking at him and pursing lips. "I'll pay you back?", she tries and Riven shakes his head. "You don't need to.", he starts, racking his brain on how to ask her if she's okay. He's not the type to ask questions and she's not the type to answer them so opting out on asking he decides on the next best thing.

Which was the stupidest thing he came up with.

"I don't have much, so I though we'd share?", he asks, scratching the back of his neck, like he always does when he nervous. That's when Sae became very much aware he was still very much shirtless and just a few centimeters away from her. She clears her throat, nodding and awkwardly shuffling away from him.

Sae was skipping most of her classes today, well if you don't count the thirteen minutes she's been on her first class, then she was skipping all of her classes. She was walking, watching the Specialists train when she spotted her blonde friend, fighting with two other specialists. She decided to walk up to him, watch him fight for a bit. She always loved watching them train.

When she walked up to the platform though, Sky was already climbing down, his eyes looking straigh ahead. Following his line of sight she saw Andreas with Dane, Andreas stopped and pushed the boy as he looked angry. She decides to ignore it and finally walks up to her friend, ruffling his hair.

"Hey there stranger.", she say smiling up at him, the scowl on his face turns into a bright smile upon seeing his friend. "I'm the stranger? You left from Bloom's house right after we got back from the beach. ", he accused his frined in a joking matter, but tat's not how Sae felt about it. Her stomach churned at the thought of the week at her home and then she remembered the messages that were still left unread. "Well, you could've called.", she answered quickly, even though she knew she wouldn't be able to answer his calls even if he did try.

"Are you gonna be in the room later?", Riven asks his friend, Sae only now noticing he's here. She smiles at him, as he winks at her. "I'll be at Bloom's. Room's all yours.", Sky answers as Riven nods. "Well, let me know when you want the favor returned." - "Okay?", Sky looks at him weirdly. "You know, for you and Bloom...", Riven starts explaining to him like a child and Sae snorts.

"Oh my God.", Riven rolls his head back as Sae chuckles. "You two really didn't,  you know..?", Sae asks, laughing while motioning with her hands to get Sky understand what she means without saying it. "Fuck. The word you're looking for is 'fuck', Princess.", Riven smirks at the girl rolling her eyes, her cheeks pink.

Sky started laughing and walking away as the two trailed behind him. "I see it. I see the problem.", Riven declared. "No, no, no. Fire fairy, strong emotions. Worried she's gonna burn your pee-pee off?", Sae couldn't help but burst out laughing at his Riven's choice of words as he smiles looking down at her for a second before returning his gaze on Sky. "She's not gonna burn my...What the fuck?", Sky shakes his head. "It's a valid concern.", Sae says between chuckles, her cheeks now bright pink from laughing instead of embarassment. Sky waves his hands and walks away as Riven yells after him. "Hey, sometimes love hurts, man!"

Rven and Sae walk towards Alfea, hand to hand, chuckling to themselves and making fun of Sky mostly. "Remember when he had to wear sunglasses when Stella basically blinded him?", Sae laughed as Riven added on. "Or when-",

Sae's heart stopped when her eyes fell on the three black SUV's at the Alfea's ground. Her ears started ringing as she watched, her step faltering. She could recognize the little flags on the cars anywhere. Riven noticed she became quiet and turned his head to look at her. His smile dropped at her concerned and scared face. "Hey, you good?", he asks, following her gaze. H furrows his brows when he sees the SUV's.

"Is that Stella's mom again?", he asks, still confused. She reacted similary last time when she found out Stella's mom came. But Sae shook her head. "You know how to kill someone quickly, right?", Sae asks, almost desperately and Riven looks at her amused. "Who do you want me to kill?", he plays along. "Me.", she say, a sighs escaping her lips as she looks at him with a pout.

He laughs, nudging her with his elbow. "Is that someone you know?", he asks nodding towards the cars. Sae lick her lips, debating on telling him, but with a sigh she nods. "Yeah, it's my father." Riven's eyes widened, as he stopped in his tracks. "What did you do?", he asks carefully, fully knowing their first year her father came because she flooded the entire classroom. It was funny after a week when she came back to school.

"Nothing!", she says, putting her hands up in defense, while her brain rewinded all f the things she did do. But the only thing that may be why he came here was because of Rosalind, or the text she didn't answer - or  they found out who helped Silva. But that would mean the rest of the girls were in trouble but noone of her friends parents were here. So maybe that's not it.

"Why do  I feel like I don't believe you?", Riven's mind wandered to the day hey were transporting Silva and the key in the water bubble that dropped in Silva's lap. But he shook his head, that could've been any water fairy in the damn dimension. But he only knows a few that were crazy enough to go do something like that. And Sae was one of the few.

"I am not.", she says, getting up to her tiptoes and quickly hugging him, it was so fast and unexpected Riven didn't even hug her back. "In case he murders me or lock me up somewhere!", she yells as she jogs away from him and towards Rosalinds office. Slamming her palm over her forehead she grumbles to herself. "Why in the hell did I do that?"

But her thoughts didn't stay on that topic for too long as her feet carried her to Headmistress's office. Each stpe feeling heavier, and each step making her heart beat harder.

She knocks on the door not really knowing what to expect.
