Meanwhile In Adventure Bay, Matthew was hanging out with Ryder and Rocky, who were just working on something for fun.
Rocky: Shouldn't we try to make something else for Matthew and Champ?
Ryder: I'm not quite sure what else they could possibly need.
Matthew:I don't really need anything, and neither does Champ.
Rocky: There's also room for improvement.
Matthew:I guess.
Champ then walked into the workshop.
Champ: Whatcha guys doing?
Ryder: Nothing right now.
Champ: Matt, you mind talking to Chase? He seems bothered by something, but he won't tell me or anyone else.
Rocky: We'll figure out what to work on while you're talking to Chase.
Matthew got onto Champ's back as the pup walked over to Chase's puphouse, seeing that the German Shepherd seemed bothered by something. Matthew then got onto the ground.
Matthew: I'll take it from here.
Champ: Thanks buddy.
Matthew slowly walked into Chase's puphouse.
Matthew:Hey Chase.
Chase looked at Matthew.
Chase:Hey bud, is everything alright with you?
Matthew:I think I should be asking you that question.
Chase:Is anyone else around?
Matthew:Nope, it's just the two of us.
Chase then took a deep breath.
Chase:You can't tell anyone what I'm about to tell you.
Matthew: Okay.
Chase:(Whispers) Me and Skye had our first real kiss.
Matthew: Really?
Chase:Yeah, it was nice, but it had me thinking about our future.
Matthew then placed a hand on Chase's muzzle.

Chase:She asked me about if I have plans to have a family when I get older.
Matthew:Do you?
Chase:I do, but at the same time, I'm not very sure. I want to have puppies of my own, but I still have my doubts, like, would I be a good father to my own puppies?

Chase softly chuckled as he gently licked Matthew's face.

Matthew:Just don't go asking me for parenting advice!

Matthew:But if you were to have kids with Skye, what names would you give your children?
Chase:Mmm… I'm not quite sure, it would have to depend on if the pups are boy or girl.

Matthew pulled out his Puppad, seeing that Sweetie was calling him.
Matthew: It's Sweetie.
Matthew quickly answered the call.
Sweetie:(Over Puppad) Matthew, we have a situation here yhat requireds your attention.
Matthew:What is it?
Sweetie:(Over Puppad) Well, Claw wants to tell you.
Sweetie then put Claw on.
Claw:(Over Puppad) Hey Matt!
Matthew:What is it, Claw?
Claw:(Over Puppad) Your not gonna believe who I came across.
Matthew:Who?
Claw:(Over Puppad) A Rockruff named Grace! She seems to be the daughter of the Lycanroc champion, Nora.
Chase:What?
Matthew:Is she alright?
Claw:(Over Puppad) For now.
Matthew:What do you mean for now?
Claw:(Over Puppad) She's in a lot of danger. I'll fill you in once you and the others come to pick her up.
Matthew: Okay!
Once Claw hung up, Chase saw that disturbed look on Matthew's face.
Chase:Matt?
Matthew: Another one? That pup must be scared to death.
Chase: I'll go get Ryder and have him bring everyone to the air patroller.
Matthew nodded his head as Chase quickly left. Matthew was left completely confused and worried about the new champion child.
Matthew:(So her name is Grace? I wondered when Nora's kid would come, but I didn't expect her to come this soon.)
Champ walked into the puphouse.
Champ: Matthew?
Matthew: I'm fine.
Champ:I kinda overheard everything, so, what are your thoughts about this?
Matthew:I have no idea what to even think right now.
Champ:Take some time to think about in the air patroller.
Champ then gently picked up Matthew, bringing him into the air patroller, and instantly placing him on the seat next to him.
Champ: We'll get through this together.
As everyone else got in, Marshall decided to sit next to Champ and Matthew.
Marshall:How are you holding up about this champion child?
Matthew: I'm not even sure.
Champ: Let's give him some time to think, big brother.
Skye:I can't wait to meet this new pup.
Zuma:Me too!
Ryder:When we get there, let's all try to stay calm and not worry our new otherworldly traveler.
Champ:Me and Matthew will try talking to her. But Matthew?
Matthew:Huh?
Champ: Shouldn't we let Moby know about this?
Matthew: I'll call him and Coral once we finish talking with Grace, the sooner we get to her, the sooner she's safe.
Rubble: She's safe with the Princess and Sweetie, so just stay calm, Matt.
As the air patroller took off, Matthew couldn't stop thinking about Grace.
Matthew:(Me and Champ are already being hunted down by Harold and his other ailles, It's sad that another kid has been dragged into this.)
Champ, who seemed worried about his best friend, decided to shrink down and rest on Matthew's lap.
Matthew:What are you doing?
Champ:What I usually do to cheer you up.
Matthew softly chuckled as he started rubbing Champ's back.
Matthew:Was this really necessary?
Champ giggled and immediately licked Matthew's face. Champ then pressed his paws against Matthew's chest.
Champ:Of course, you are my owner after all and It's my job to keep you safe and happy. I know that when Grace joins us, she'll be glad to have you as her owner as well.
Matthew:You think so?
Champ:Yes, I do.
Champ then rolled onto his back, wanting Matthew to rub his belly.
Matthew: Really?
Champ:Hey, I cheered you up, the least you could do is repay the favor by giving me a good belly rub.
Matthew:I bet Bolt was like this as well!
Champ:My dad sure was!
Matthew started rubbing Champ's belly.
Champ:That feels so good.
Chase and Skye watched as Matthew was rubbing Champ's belly.
Skye:They are so cute when they are together.
Chase:Skye, I've been thinking about your question from earlier.
Skye:Chase, maybe that wasn't the right question for me to ask.
Chase: I'm just not completely sure if I would be a good father to any puppy.
Skye:Why?
Chase:Were always busy, and if I have kids, I won't always have time to spend with them.
Skye: I'm sure you would find a way, especially once those kids get old enough to start helping out on missions.
Chase:True.
Skye then rested her head against Chase's chest.
Skye:I think you would an incredible father.
Chase blushed a little.
Matthew: You two better not start kissing, this flight does not cover that!
Skye & Chase: Matthew!
Everyone else started laughing.
Champ:Oh come on Matt, you should have let them kiss, then you could have taken a good photo.
Chase:If he took a photo, he wouldn't living to see the next day!
Matthew: Really?
Skye:I would help him too!
Matthew:See, happy couple already!
Champ:Just like Marshall and Everest.
Marshall's face immediately turned red.
Marshall:Champ!
Champ:(Giggles) Sorry big bro!
Ryder: Okay, we should be arriving in BarkingBurg soon.
Matthew:(I wonder what Grace will be like.)
