Ellie stood at the bar, holding a glass full of liquor in her hand. Her face held a type of sadness, she and Joel got into an argument that morning. They seemed to have a hard time getting along these days. Until she saw her... Ellie's sad expression quickly grew into a soft smile. (GIF)
She danced with one of the men on the dance floor, hopping around and doing a twirl leaning against the man and laughing.
Jesse and Dina came up, Jesse and Y/n dated back when they were young until Dina became a part of their group. Y/n and Jesse broke up a week ago, he had had a crush on Dina since he saw her... Ellie was the one who comforted Y/n after she told Dina it was okay to date Jesse... The couple didn't work anyways. They were still friends but Ellie had a grudge for Jesse for hurting Y/n.
The smile on Ellie's face faded.
"I hate these things," Jesse told Ellie, taking a sip of his drink.
"Pff... Tell me about it" Ellie nodded.
"...Your old man really laid into me today," Jesse told her.
"What happened?"
"Another big lecture about my patrols. Don't go here, don't go there. Funny how he gets whenever you're scheduled to go out."
"Yeah" Ellie has a slight face of annoyance.
"She's uh... putting on quite the show," Jesse says, smiling at Y/n.
Ellie turns her attention back on Y/n who is being dipped by a guy as she placed the back of her hand on her forehead while laughing and people clapping before the guy brings her back up.
"I give you guys two weeks... until you're back together" Ellie smirks.
"Not gonna happen" Jesse denies.
Ellie only looks away from Jesse and at Y/n who was catching her breath high-fiving some people.
"Did she... uh- say something to you?" Jesse asks eagerly.
"Pff... Make it one week" Ellie looks at Jesse.
"Ellie! Hey!" Y/n walked up, startling both Jesse and Ellie. "What took you so long?"
Y/n stole the drink from Ellie's hand and slurped it down with no issue, setting the glass back on the bar carefully.
"Well, I'm here aren't I?" Ellie shrugged.
"Y/n," Jesse said trying to get her attention.
"Jesse" Y/n looked at him for a brief moment before grabbing Ellie's hand and taking her to the dance floor. "Come on"
"... Hey, remember we're headin' out early so, get some rest!" Jesse said raising his glass in their direction.
"Yes, sir" Y/n rolled her eyes.
"You're such a bitch..." Ellie muttered.
"Come on... Don't you start with me" Y/n warned.
She wrapped her arms around Ellie's neck whilst Ellie's were on her hips as they danced slowly.
"Okay, I have a very serious question for you" Y/n begins... "How bad do I smell?"
Ellie's face turned into a goofy smile as she leaned in taking in a deep breathe making Y/n smile widely.
"Like... a hot pile of garbage" Ellie laughs softly.
"Oh! Okay" Y/n gets closer rubbing her cheek all over the side of Ellie's face, Ellie let out a soft groan.
"How about that?" Y/n smiles.
"Gross..."
"You love it"
Y/n smiles, at Ellie before resting her head on Ellie's shoulder, them still dancing. Ellie looked around, every guy, dancing, or standing at the bar was staring at her. It made her uncomfortable, considering Ellie liked you a lot.
"Every guy in here is staring at you right now" Ellie looked down a bit.
"Maybe they're staring at you" Y/n hums.
"They're not"
"Maybe they're jealous of you"
"I'm... just a girl. I'm not a threat"
Y/n moved away, looking at Ellie. She moved a hair away from the side of Ellie's face shaking her head.
"Ohh.. Ellie" Y/n's voice was smooth and airy. "I think they should be terrified of you"
Y/n leaned in slowly, she placed her hand on the back of Ellie's neck. Ellie's eyes were wide and she felt like the world stopped... Everything stopped. The kiss was slow, and gentle... pulling apart twice for air before pulling apart completely.
Y/n's hands were on Ellie's shoulder, the two of them smiling at each other...
"Hey!" A voice boomed.
The two girls turned and saw Seth moving towards them, his facial expression was way too serious for such a little thing as a kiss, especially when other men and women were kissing each other.
"This is a family event"
Ellie's smile never faded, but Y/n let out a small laugh.
"Sorry" Y/n muttered looking at Ellie, before looking back at Seth who looked inraged. "Sorry!"
And with that they began walking away, holding Ellie's hand. He was obviously drunk... When wasn't he?
"Remember next time there are kids around" His hands in tight fists at his side.
"Yeah, like you're setting such a great example," Y/n said not turning around.
"Ahhh, just what this town needs... Another loudmouth d*ke" Seth shouts at them.
Ellie and Y/n looked at each other, Ellie looked angry while Y/n just looked shocked.
"The hell did you just say?!" Y/n tried keeping Ellie back as she stormed towards Seth.
"Ellie! Ellie, no don't!" Y/n shook her head.
"HEY!" Joel grabbed Seth who took an aggressive step forward. "Get the hell out of here"
"Get your hands off me" Seth and Joel walked toward each other, ready to fight.
"Hey!" Maria ran up pushing them apart. "Enough, come on you, let's go for a walk"
"What about them?" Seth looks at Ellie and Y/n, angry.
"You worry about yourself," Maria said sternly.
"Let's get you some fresh air" Tommy suggested.
Once Joel turned Ellie moved away, walking in the other direction and pulling Y/n with her gently.
"You alright, kiddo?" Joel asks in a soft voice.
"What is wrong with you?" Ellie turns quickly towards Joel.
"He had no right-"
"And you do?"
"I don't need your help, Joel"
Joel looked hurt, sad, and embarrassed as he looked around and then back at Ellie.
"Right." Joel nodded, walking away.
All eyes were on them. Ellie stormed out, leaving Y/n in there alone.

Hello!! So I wanted to clear up a little something. I support the LGBTQ community which is why I did not use that word and censored it. I get some people won't fully understand but that's what I feel comfortable doing.
I also want to do this little thing where I put the next release date for a chapter so you guys know when to look out for one. If you're a late reader they won't really work for you but it'll be fun for me and the other readers! :)
