" Has she fallen asleep, my lord? " Cynthia asked while Archduke Willard places Althea's head on the soft pillow.
" I think she is already sleeping... " Archduke Willard says and Lady Cynthia nodded her head.
" Then, we shall leave quietly and make sure she wouldn't wake up." Lady Cynthia says and Archduke Willard nodded his head.
Archduke Willard and Lady Cynthia then looked at Althea one last time before they left the room as quietly as possible.
" My lady, will you be alright tomorrow? " Archduke Willard says and Lady Cynthia raises one of her eyebrow while staring at Archduke Willard.
" And why would I not be alright? " Lady Cynthia says
" You're the crown prince's fiancee of this empire, am I correct? " Archduke Willard says
" I am. " Lady Cynthia replies.
" Are you not worried about what will the people talk about behind you? " Archduke Willard
" When the crown prince asked you to have a dance with him, I was expecting that you would go and dance with the crown prince since you're his soon-to-be bride..." Archduke Willard says
" But it was the opposite of what I thought... Aren't you afraid of what will these people say about you? " Archduke Willard says
" I'm sure that you're aware of what will be the gossips by tomorrow, hmm? " Archduke Willard says while staring at Lady Cynthia who was just listening to him talking.
" It would be nice if the headlines tomorrow wouldn't be about you dancing with a strange man and rejecting to dance with the crown prince." Archduke Willard says and Lady Cynthia laughed.
" Oh, my lord... You have no idea how I badly DON'T want to dance with him." Lady Cynthia says with a smile on her face.
" Him? You mean... The crown Prince? " Archduke Willard says and Lady Cynthia only stared at him.
" Who else am I talking about, my lord? Of course, I'm talking about that piece of sh*t." Lady Cynthia says with a smiling look on her face while Archduke Willard seems to be taken a back after hearing Lady Cynthia swearing.
" *chuckles* If you were to say that right in front of him, you'd be punish." Archduke Willard says with a smile.
" Oh~ should I be scared of that, my lord? " Lady Cynthia says with a smile.
" I'm aware of what they think of me and the things they say behind my back, I've heard a lot of insults or mockery way worse, my lord." Lady Cynthia says
" But that won't stop me from breaking up with his highness. " Lady Cynthia says
" You're not going to marry the crown prince? And why is that? If you marry the crown prince of this empire, you will be able to live with a luxurious life. " Archduke Willard says while they were walking in the hallway.
" You'll be able to buy anything you want, are you sure you don't want that kind of life? There are lots of noble ladies who wants to marry the crown prince, are you not aware of that? " Archduke Willard says while Lady Cynthia is walking right next to him.
" I'm aware, my lord." Lady Cynthia says
" So? Why would you not want to marry the crown prince? You will be able to rule a large empire next to him." Archduke Willard says and Lady Cynthia chuckles.
" Being able to buy anything I want and having a luxurious life?*chuckles* " Lady Cynthia says
" I already have a villa that is gifted by my mother, not even my father can't take that villa away from me. " Lady Cynthia says
" To live a luxurious life? My lord... " Lady Cynthia says and she then turn around to look at Archduke Willard.
" Do I look like I'm poor? Living in the street and begging for money? " Lady Cynthia says and she then smiled.
" I can earn a money alone, my lord and if we're talking about ruling an empire with his highness, the crown prince.. I'd rather not rule an empire next to him." Lady Cynthia says
" And why is that? " Archduke Willard says
" It's simple. " Lady Cynthia says
" I'd rather destroy this empire rather than ruling next to him, sitting on the throne, wearing a crown and just what? Smile all day? Do the works because I have the responsibility and that I'm the Queen? " Lady Cynthia says while Archduke Willard is just staring at her.
" My lord, I don't think I'll be able to become the Queen of this empire, I'm certain that I will die before I'd be crown as the Queen. " Lady Cynthia says with a smile.
" So, if I can't be the Queen... Then, why should I be chasing after a throne that is not destined to be mine? " Lady Cynthia says
" And how can you be certain that you won't be able to become the Queen? Are there people trying to assassinate you? " Archduke Willard says and Lady Cynthia just laughed.
" My lord, I'm pretty certain that you already know what kind of a woman I am." Lady Cynthia says
" Everywhere I go, I'm a villain in someone's story and I cannot change that, in fact, I'd rather let them think of me as the bad person." Lady Cynthia says with a smile.
" That way, I wouldn't have to pretend to be nice to everyone or live up with their expectations." Lady Cynthia says
" So far, I have the whole empire becoming my enemy, isn't that nice, my lord? " Lady Cynthia says and Archduke Willard smiled.
" Is that why Grand Duke Luk Van is escorting another noble lady instead of you? " Archduke Willard says
" Oh, my father? " Lady Cynthia says while smiling.
" You see him and called the Grand Duke as your father, but whenever he looked at you, it doesn't seem like he sees you as his daughter." Archduke Willard says and Lady Cynthia's smiles disappear.
" Are you sure that you're his biological daughter and not the lady he escorted with tonight at the second Prince birthday? " Archduke Willard says
" I'm his daughter that won't change." Lady Cynthia says
" He's a father but... He have never been a dad to me, my lord." Lady Cynthia says and Archduke Willard nodded his head.
" And to be honest, seeing him escorting another person and not me... It does hurt." Lady Cynthia says and Archduke Willard looked at him.
" He seems to be happy with that... Lady who is also around my age." Lady Cynthia says
" It's so unfair... I'm his daughter and yet, he's smiling, caring about someone else and doting someone else and not me." Lady Cynthia says as she looked like she's about to cry.
" Ever since my mother died, he become so distant and cold towards me, we were... Happy once." Lady Cynthia says
" I just don't understand why he have changed so much, to the point... I feel like I don't belong anywhere." Lady Cynthia
" I lost a mother and he lost a wife, we both have lost something so precious in life... So why? Shouldn't he be caring about me since I'm the only one he has left?! " Lady Cynthia says
" And after that... I was all alone and I started getting training to become perfect child for my father." Lady Cynthia

" And I thought that if I would become the bride of the Prince, my father would be proud of me... But even that day... He was never happy for me nor was he proud. " Lady Cynthia says while she put a smile on her face looking at Archduke Willard.
" So, I was thinking, what exactly part of me that makes my father not be proud of me, was I not my enough, everything that I do, was it not enough for him? " Lady Cynthia says
" And days, turns to weeks and weeks turns to years, everything just goes black and white, I don't see colors, the pain I have been injuring, I turned it as my shield." Lady Cynthia
" Just when I'm about to give up on living in this world and just waiting for my death... " Lady Cynthia says
" That night, that one special night that I would never forget... " Lady Cynthia says as she wiped the tears on her cheek and smiled to Archduke Willard.

" Well, that night, I have a very bad day... I was watching the stars, they were all sparkling. " Lady Cynthia says

" That star brought me to meet Althea in the middle of the street. " Lady Cynthia says and Archduke Willard raised one of his eyebrow while staring at Lady Cynthia.
" My daughter? " Archduke Willard says and Lady Cynthia nod her head with a smile on her face.
" She captured my heart with just a single words and her eyes, it's so full of happiness and love, she gives of a very warm energy around her, everything about Althea just seems so unreal." Lady Cynthia says
" Whenever I look into someone's eyes, I could tell how much they don't want to stand right next to me, talk to me or simply, hates me." Lady Cynthia says
" But she's different and I'm talking about your child." Lady Cynthia says
" When she looked at me, it feels like I'm the only person that really matters to her in this world, which no one has ever looked at me that way. " Lady Cynthia says
" When she was staying with me and when she sees me unhappy or upset about something, she was always there for me." Lady Cynthia says
" You don't know how much I love Althea." Lady Cynthia says
" She's a very good child, she smiles a lot not like the other children I have met before, whenever I see her, it feels like all of my problems would disappear. " Lady Cynthia says
" One time, when I was angry and throwing objects around me, she was there to calm me down." Lady Cynthia
" No one has ever stopped me like how Althea did, she looked at me with such caring look. " Lady Cynthia
" She is full of love which I couldn't even have something like that in my life." Lady Cynthia says
" But Althea, she shared the love that she has with everyone in the villa even though, no one asked her to do so." Lady Cynthia says
" She simply give her love with everyone, showing them what it feels like when someone gives them a genuine love. " Lady Cynthia says with a smile.
" That is why, the people in the villa where I live, loved Althea very much. " Lady Cynthia says
" Before I met Althea, my home doesn't even feel like home at all. " Lady Cynthia says
" But after I met her and bring her to my villa, that place... Is now filled with light and love because of her." Lady Cynthia
" The villa where I once lived before is so quiet and dead, like it was a home of corpses." Lady Cynthia says
" But when she appeared, things have changed, everything in the villa is full of colors, every day there's no such thing as peaceful." Lady Cynthia says and then she chuckles.
" Even the gardener in my villa would complain about how there's an animal who have been stealing all his grapes. " Lady Cynthia says and Archduke Willard laughed.
" Oh, I'm not joking, my lord, the gardener, his name is David Troost, he have complained about the animals eating his crops, especially the grapes. " Lady Cynthia says
" So, that day all of us was there to capture the animal who have been stealing our crops." Lady Cynthia says
" But all of us were shocked that the thief has been Althea all along, she was hiding behind the bushes, eating all the grapes on her skirt." Lady Cynthia says and Archduke Willard just laughed as he couldn't believe what he have just heard.
" And then the next day after that, the people who works in the kitchen complained about how there's a thief who have been stealing cookies." Lady Cynthia says
" Let me guess, is my daughter the one who have been stealing the cookies again? " Archduke Willard says and Lady Cynthia smiled.
" Well, she sure is the one who have been stealing the cookies, my lord.*chuckles*" Lady Cynthia says
" But even after the people In my villa found out that Althea is the one who have been stealing the cookies, instead of punishing her, they all give her a jar of cookies." Lady Cynthia says with a smile.
" And the most fun of it all was that how Althea keeps making all the maid chase after her in broad daylight.*laughed*" Lady Cynthia says
" She will be running in the hallways and in the garden while the maids are trying to catch her and telling her to not run so fast, but Althea would just laugh and start hiding away from them. " Lady Cynthia says
" I'm so sorry, if my daughter —" Archduke Willard says but was interrupted.
" No, you shouldn't apologize, my lord." Lady Cynthia says
" Like I have said, I love Althea and so does the people in the villa, they all love her presence there. " Lady Cynthia says
" So, I'm hoping that you wouldn't take that love away from her, my lord." Lady Cynthia says
" I wish that you would continue being her dad and love her. " Lady Cynthia says and Archduke Willard nodded his head with a smile.
" I will try my best to be the best father of my daughter, my lady. " Archduke Willard says
" That's good to hear, my lord. " Lady Cynthia says and then Vera appeared.
" Ah, Vera, the room I have told you to prepare... is it ready? " Archduke Willard says
" Yes, your imperial highness. " Vera says and then Archduke Willard turned around to face Lady Cynthia
" It's alright late, my lady, I wish you will have a good rest tonight. " Archduke Willard says and Lady Cynthia smiled.
" You too, my lord. " Lady Cynthia says and the she left and followed Vera.
And after they disappeared, Bosworth appeared behind the Arckduke.
" What is it? " Archduke Willard says
" It is about what you have ordered me to do to Grand Duke Luk Van... " Bosworth says and the Archduke Willard turned around to face Bosworth with a grin smile on his face.
" You did a good job, Bosworth. " Archduke Willard says with a smile.
" You may get the payment to your older sister." Archduke Willard says and Bosworth nodded his head.
" Did you brought him to the dungeon? " Archduke Willard says
" Yes. " Bosworth says
" Does he know that it was my order? " Archduke Willard says
" No, your imperial highness. " Bosworth says
" Well, he's about to know who he's making enemies with. " Archduke Willard says with a smile.
