Overlapping shouts were heard as as Bobby Brown and his best friends, Johnny Lawrence, Tommy, Dutch, and Jimmy, parked their bikes on the hill, while Ali and Daniel continued flirting with each other on the beach. The boys were laughing and cheering as they were talking about their karate practice. They all wore matching leather jackets, with snake patches on it, and drove motorcycles.
"Alright!" Tommy and Bobby shouted excitedly
"That was awesome." Johnny happily shouted
"Brew time, man! Who's for a warm one? Here you go." Tommy said as he offered a beer to Johnny
"No, I pass man." Johnny said declining the beer
Tommy offered Bobby a beer. "Hey Bobby?"
Bobby shook his head, also declining the beer. "No, thanks pal."
"No, thanks pal." Bobby said declining the beer
"Johnny, who you kidding? You're still the ace degenerate." Tommy said as he gave the beer to Jimmy
"No, ex-degenerate man. 8am tomorrow, I'm a senior, I got one year to make it all work, and that's what I'm gonna do." Johnny said. "Make it work, all of it, right?" he added while facing Bobby
"That's right man." Bobby said as he and Johnny slapped a supportive five
"Hey you must be a trendsetter Johnny, looks like everyone's doing something new." Tommy said as he looked toward the beach and saw Daniel and Ali with each other.
Johnny turned to face Tommy, while still grinning widely. "What?"
"Take a right. Check it out." Tommy said
Johnny and the Cobra Kais saw Ali and Daniel juggling the ball, and saw her trip, which caused them both to fall, and laughing in the sand, which ignited pure jealousy in Johnny.
Bobby, however, saw Rebecca laughing with one of the boys from Reseda, while they watched Ali and Daniel. He didn't know who she was, or when she arrived in the valley, but he had to meet her. Now.
Bobby tried to keep Johnny from doing something stupid. "Hey Johnny, forget it man. It's ancient history."
"Who told you man?" Johnny snapped angrily
"Johnny!" Bobby warned as Johnny put his helmet on
"Hey man, I thought they broke up?" Jimmy asked
"She did. He didn't." Tommy grinned.
"You're such an asshole man. You know how he gets over Ali." Bobby said, then they all put their helmets on and drove down to the beach, with Johnny leading the way.
While Ali and Daniel were still flirting and juggling with the soccer ball, she and Rebecca heard revving up the hill. Ali, with the soccer ball in her hand turned her head to see motorbikes of the Cobra Kais.
Rebecca turned her head to see the motorbikes of the Cobra Kais as well, little realizing one of those guys, would be her forever.
"Watch this." Ali said as she kicked the ball away.
"I'll get it." Daniel said as he went to grab the soccer ball
Ali smiled and nodded as she grabbed Rebecca's hand, and the two took a seat on the sand next to Susan and Barbara. With a face full of confusion, Rebecca asked, "Who are they?"
"That's the Cobra Kais, a group of popular guys at our school who are black belts." Susan said
"They're nice to us, but they're assholes and bullies to other people." Barbara said
"Oh that's just great. I've got to deal with bullies." Rebecca thought to herself. Little did she know, she would have them wrapped around her finger, and they will do anything for her, in the blink of an eye.
Ali sat close to Rebecca, and turned up the radio, as the Cobra Kais parked their bikes on the beach, spraying sand everywhere and getting it in Rebecca's cherry coke. "Assholes" Rebecca muttered to herself
Susan stood up and walked over to whom Rebecca was assuming was her boyfriend, while a guy in a red jacket with blonde hair sat down front of Ali.
Rebecca turned to Barbara and gave her a quizzical look, the questioned, "Who's this?" she whispered
"This is Johnny Lawrence, the leader of Cobra Kai and Ali's ex-boyfriend. She dumped him a few weeks back and he's been trying to win her back ever since." Barbara said
"Hey Ali, I want to talk to you." Johnny said
Ali scooted closer to Rebecca, rolled her eyes at Johnny, and retorted angrily, "Just leave me alone, we've been over all this alright I don't wanna talk."
Johnny reached over and turned Ali's radio off. "Well I wanna talk to you alright?" he said. Ali reached over and turned the radio back on. "What is your problem?" Johnny asked, as he reached over and turned the radio off again.
Ali grabbed her radio, and gently grabbed Rebecca's hand, then the two girls stood up. "Look why don't you just take your little Cobra Kais and get out of here?"
"Oh yeah right and that's gonna solve everything." Johnny said as he aggressively grabbed the radio from Ali's hand, and Rebecca stood next to Ali
Ali huffed with irritation as she replied, "Give me my radio." she tried to grab it, but Johnny dodged her grasp. "No." He hissed, gripping the radio. "I said give me my radio!" Ali said, growing more and more irritated
"You promise you'll talk to me?" Johnny asked. "Yes, just give me my radio." Ali said. "You promise?" Johnny said. "Yes, just give me my radio, yes." Ali said.
Ali snatched the radio from Johnny's hand, glared at him, and turned it back on, making him get even angrier. He snatched the radio out of her hand and slammed it on the ground, causing it to break. She was beyond furious at this point.
"You just broke my radio!" Ali yelled as she shoved Johnny back. "Yeah." Johnny answered smugly.
These Cobra Kai dicks were getting on Rebecca's nerves. First they crash the party, then this asshole breaks Ali's radio? They need to leave. She didn't notice a particular Cobra Kai in a dark blue jacket staring at her with a love struck face, as she stepped forward and put a consoling hand on Ali's shoulder.
The Cobra Kai who had fallen in love with Rebecca at first sight was none other than the sweet Bobby Brown. He saw as her locks of brunette hair blew in the ocean breeze, the way her green eyes sparkled like thousands of diamonds in the moonlight, he was completely, and utterly done for.
As Johnny and Ali kept arguing, and Rebecca was standing close to Ali, the beautiful brunette noticed Daniel coming to pick the radio up and give it to Ali.
"Don't touch it punk!" Johnny shouted at Daniel, but Daniel ignored Johnny and did it anyway
Scoffing in annoyance, a brave Rebecca asked, "What the hell is your problem you asshole?" Johnny turned his attention to the beautiful brunette standing next to Ali and smirked at her. "Just leave him alone and give Ali back her radio." Johnny scoffed in reply as he turned his attention back to Daniel
"Oh, man. What's going on?" Daniel questioned
"You want it? You got it!" Johnny said as he shoved Ali's broken radio into Daniel's chest and pushed him into the sand
"All right!" the Cobra Kais yelled.
Johnny pushed Ali into Tommy and Dutch, who held her securely, and Rebecca tried to walk over and help Daniel, but Johnny shoved her into Bobby. "Hey! What the fuck you asshole?!" the brunette spat
"Just stay calm, and don't get involved. I'm not gonna hurt you." Bobby said. "I promise, I'll never hurt you."
Rebecca glanced up at him, and when their eyes met, they both felt something neither one had ever felt before. Love. All they could do, was smile softly at one another. Rebecca turned her attention back to the fight, but Bobby focused solely on her.
Johnny tripped Daniel with his foot and the Cobra Kai members yelled "All right!"
"Johnny, stop it will you?! Leave him! Stop it!" Ali screamed at Johnny, only for Johnny to trip Daniel again, making the Cobra Kais laugh at him. "Stop it!"
"Stop hurting him! Leave him alone!" Rebecca said
Johnny looked at both Rebecca and Ali with a cocky smile and replied, "I didn't do anything!"
"Well he didn't do anything either!" Ali replied as Daniel got up
Johnny taunted Daniel and kicked him again, knocked him to the ground. "Oh, you're a big man now huh?" Ali retorted
Johnny snapped his head over to Ali, and Rebecca looked at Ali as well. "Look, you started this! All I wanted to do was talk to you!" he spat as he pointed an accusatory finger at Ali.
"Then just leave him alone and we'll go talk. C'mon on, Johnny." Ali pleaded
"Yeah, where did I hear that before?" Johnny said sarcastically, then walked to Daniel who was slumped over. "How about you, hero? you had enough?"
The grip Bobby had on Rebecca, hurt like a bitch. She was looking to Ali for help, who saw her tears begin to form. "Help me." she mouthed to Ali
"Bobby! You're hurting her. Loosen your fucking grip!" Ali yelled at him
Daniel sucker punched Johnny in the nose and stood up. The two girls turned their heads away, and Johnny wiped the blood from his nose. "Okay. Okay, man. Now we're even, huh." Daniel said.
"No mercy, man. No mercy." Johnny said
"No mercy!" The Cobra Kais repeated
Johnny kicked Daniel in the stomach and jab punched him in the face. Ali was furious, screaming and red in the face. "Let go of me!" Ali screamed
Ali grabbed Johnny by the jacket and punched him in the chest. "Why don't you hit me, huh?! You think you're gonna make me feel better, huh?!"
"It's your fault!" Johnny said
"It's not my fault!" Ali spat
"It's your fault!" Johnny said
"Everything is your fault! Why do you have to always fight, huh?!" Ali screamed
"Bullshit." Johnny snapped
Bobby finally let Rebecca go, and she turned around to face him. "I'm so sorry." he softly said
Rebecca softly smiled at him, and replied, "Don't apologize. It's not your fault."
"No, I mean for hurting you." Bobby said
Rebecca gave him a gentle, reassuring smile. "Don't you dare worry about it. I'm tougher than I look believe me." she smiled as she moved her hair away from her face, which was being softly blown by the wind
"Get on your bikes guys." Johnny said while looking at the Cobra Kais.
Rebecca looked into Bobby's beautiful, sparkling ocean blue eyes, and her heart leapt in her chest. She heard the bleach blonde say "Far out, man" and gave Johnny a low five, then saw Ali hit Johnny again.
"Bobby. Come on man." Johnny said
"Do you go to West Valley?" Bobby asked
"Yeah. I start tomorrow." Rebecca said
"I'll see you tomorrow, then." Bobby said, then gave her a soft, yet sweet smile
"Bye." Rebecca said softly almost a whisper
"Bye." Bobby said softly
As the Cobra Kais got on their bikes, Rebecca turned and and saw Daniel lying on the ground coughing and spitting out sand, and she and Ali slowly approached him. What she didn't see, was Bobby admiring Rebecca from afar before putting the helmet on his head.
"Hey are you okay?" Ali asked
"Just leave me alone." Daniel said
"Uh, just...I'll—I'll help you...." Ali said
"No, just leave me alone. I'm okay." Daniel said. "Just leave me alone."
Ali glanced over at Rebecca who was just as lost as she was. Barbara placed her hand on Rebecca and Ali's shoulders then spoke. "C'mon on guys, let's go. C'mon on its best if we leave him alone."
Rebecca and Ali looked to the blonde and nodded, then rose to their feet. As Rebecca wrapped her arm around Ali's shoulder, the Cobra Kai's started their motorbikes. As Rebecca gathered her things, the Cobra Kais rode off, completely destroying Ali's radio in the process.
"I'll see you girls at school tomorrow." Rebecca smiled as she embraced Ali, Susan, and Barbara. "It was so nice to meet you girls."
"It was nice meeting you as well Rebecca." Ali smiled as she embraced the brunette. "See you at school tomorrow. Do you need a ride to school?"
"Thank you so much for the offer, but my dad was actually going to drop me off on the way to the auto shop." Rebecca smiled.
Ali softly smiled as she placed her beach bag over her shoulder. "All right, we'll see you tomorrow."
"Bye." Rebecca softly smiled as she walked towards the beach parking lot
As Rebecca walked towards the beach parking lot, she saw Dean pulling into the beach parking lot, then stopped by to try and help Daniel, but he was being too stubborn and wouldn't let her help him. Once she got to the beach parking lot, she got into Dean's impala and smiled at him.
"Hey daddy." Rebecca smiled as she got in the impala and sat down
"Hey hon." Dean smiled as he drove away. "How was the party? Make any new friends?"
"It was good and yes I made new friends with three girls. Ali, Susan, and Barbara. They'll be attending West Valley High like me, and told me about the cheer tryouts." Rebecca smiled. "They even invited me to a sleepover at Ali's one weekend."
"That's great kiddo." Dean smiled. "I'm glad you made new friends."
Rebecca could tell her father was happy. She was not about to tell him that a fight broke out on the beach. "How was work?" she asked
"It was good." Dean said
The whole ride home Rebecca kept thinking about Bobby. He was one of them. But there was something about him. Maybe he wasn't so bad. Maybe just maybe.

The Cobra Kais all met up at Jimmy's house after the beach fight, they sat outside drinking some beers and talking about their karate practice. Bobby however remained quiet and just drank his beer. He kept thinking about the beautiful green-eyed brunette that had captured his heart. Rebecca.
He saw how protective she was of Ali and even the new kid. Bobby had fallen for Rebecca, and he had fallen for her hard. He also felt bad about hurting her. He had grown to like her, and he didn't want her thinking he was a monster.
"Earth to Bobby." Dutch laughed as he threw a bottle cap at Bobby snapping him out of his thoughts
"What the hell, man?" Bobby said as he threw the bottle cap back to Dutch. "What was that for?"
"What are you thinking about?" Tommy asked. "You've been quiet since we left the beach."
"Nothing." Bobby lied
"That's bullshit. He's probably thinking about that hot brunette. The one from the beach." Dutch said as he lit a joint. "He was checking her out during the fight."
"Who is this?" Johnny asked still pissed he couldn't talk to Ali
"Ali and Susan's new friend, Rebecca." Tommy said, as he took a hit.
"I don't care who she's friends with, she's gorgeous." Bobby said in adoration
"You don't think we saw how you looked at her?" Jimmy laughed as he took a swig of his beer. "You basically eye fucked her from the moment you caught her. Admit it. You're hot for her."
"Yeah she's hot, but she would never go for someone like me." Bobby said. "Besides I hurt her pretty bad. I had too tight of a grip on her, and Ali said I was hurting her."
"No you weren't." Johnny said as he took a hit from the joint. "Ali was just being an uptight bitch, like she always is."
Bobby rolled his eyes at Johnny's choice of words. Bobby might not have been crazy about Ali, but he was raised to treat all women with respect. "That might be true, but Ali's protective of her friends. You know that better than anyone."
"Look man, I saw how nice she was to you. Any other girl around here would have slapped the shit out you. But she didn't. Give it a try she might surprise you." Jimmy said
Bobby just nodded his head, as his thoughts wondered to the beautiful Rebecca, who, back in her bedroom in Reseda, was tossing and turning in her bed thinking about Bobby.
