*Just hit 2000 views, time for a bonus post*

They had just taken a couple days at a motel to hang out with Charlie a little longer. They'd slept in, she and Dean had blown off some much-needed steam that involved chainmail and a broad sword and she'd just gotten out of the shower.

Sam had done the breakfast run today, before they hit the road. She was greeted by a breakfast burrito and a coffee. "Sam you sweet sweet man" she smiled at him as she picked up her coffee and sat down at the table with her burrito.

"I know" he shrugged with a grin, "I'm your favorite."

"If the sounds that were coming out of her mouth an hour ago are any indication" Dean shook his head, "I promise, you're not."

"I'm eating" Sam replied.

"If you can't take it don't dish it out Sammy" Dean shook his head. He licked his lips and grinned, "And if the sounds that were coming out of her mouth an hour ago are any indication, Robin can take it."

"Thaaat was crossing the line" Robin chuckled. Dean replied with a smile and a wink.

Suddenly the closet door popped open and a man in a suit fell out, breathless. Robin already had her gun pointed at him. He looked between Sam and Dean, before asking, "which one of you is John Winchester?"

"Uh" Sam stammered, "neither."

"That's not possible" he shook his head. "What did I do wrong?"

"Who the hell are you mister" Dean barked?

"Not now, I'm thinking" he told him.

"Ahem" Robin cleared her throat, getting the man's attention. "My little friend right here sort of thinks you might want to start talking."

While he was distracted Dean shoved him up against the wall and pinned him with an arm across his chest.

"I assure you, there is no need for violence" he told them assertively. "One of you must know John Winchester."

"Tell you what" Sam nodded. "When we fall out of one of your closets, you get to ask the questions."

"My apologies" he nodded before he looked at Dean. "Sir is it essential that you keep your hands on me?"

Dean backed off the man and looked back at Robin. "Stand down babe" he barked.

She did as she was told, reluctantly holstering her gun.

"Thank you gentlemen" he sighed as he adjusted his blazer. "In the absence of any and all other explanations, this has been a marvelous, tragic misunderstanding. I'll be on my way.

"That's not happening" Sam told him.

"There are things of grave importance" he nodded. "I do not have time to deal with the likes of you."

Dean shuffled quickly through a duffle under the table and produced a pair of handcuffs. Before he grabbed his wrist. "You're not going anywhere 007."

No sooner had he said that, and the man grabbed the cuffs and cuffed both boys to the chair. He started to walk out, and Robin pulled her gun. He quickly disarmed her and shoved her to the ground. He picked up the bed and slid the leg down the back of her gun holster, he grabbed the luggage lock off Sam's suitcase and locked her holster on her, leaving her arms flailing.

"Seriously" she snapped?

"Robin your gun" Sam shouted.

"Yeah, um Sammy" she sighed. "The way that I'm pinned, I have two rather large growths on my chest obstructing my ability to do so. I can't even reach a pin. A luggage lock? Should be like opening a safety pin for me" she huffed.

"Not to worry babe" Dean told her getting out of the cuffs and walking over to help her but stopping. "Well, a nice view anyway" he shrugged.

"See you found the cuffs" she scoffed at him. "Couldn't find them this morning."

He chuckled as he picked the lock sitting on her breasts with a smile.
"Taking your time" she asked? He winked at her as he popped the lock and attempted to slide out of her holster. The leather dug into her. She looked at him, "could you lift the bed please" she muttered?

He lifted the bed and helped her to her feet. "What the fuck was that" she snapped as they all got to their feet and headed out to the parking lot in time to watch the same man break the window of the impala and hop in the driver seat.

"Nice taste in wheels" Dean growled.

"Yours I presume" he turned to the three of them glaring at him?

He didn't fight when he came back into the room with them. Sam splashed him with holy water.

"Holy water" he nodded, knowing what they were doing.

"Clean" Sam nodded to them.

"I could have told you that" he told them.

"You're gonna tell us a lot more" Dean growled, "or I'm gonna beat it out of you."

"I'm quite certain this is beyond your understanding my alpha-male-monkey friend" he scoffed. "And violence will not help you comprehend this either."

"Let me tell you what I understand" Dean bellowed. "Some asshat just fell out of a closet and started asking questions about my dad."

"John Winchester is your father" he asked in astonishment?

The closet started to rumble. "Run" the man shouted as the door burst open.

A woman with red hair and an older style dress covered in blood walked out and sneered at him. "Henry, silly man. You forgot to lock the door. But spells never were your best subject were they?"

"Why do I suddenly feel the need to show her how I am at them" Robin murmured?

"I'd love to see that whore" she snapped.

"Well she's a demon or an angel" Robin announced.

"Henry, why don't you be a doll and give me what I want" she asked? "I promise to kill your friends quick."

"You know I can't do that" he shook his head.

"You're not a fighter Henry" she told him.

Dean raised a gun. She waved a hand and threw him against the wall.

"Speculum dolorem" Robin shouted. The woman screamed in pain as she ran to Dean to help him to his feet. "Were you not listening when I said demon or angel" she snapped?

Robin didn't notice the screaming had ceased until Dean was already back to his feet. "Powerful little whore" The woman smiled before waving her hand and slamming her into the wall. "But I'm out of your league doll face." Sam started to charge her, and she waved her hand throwing him into the table and Dean back into the wall she had before.

"Josie" Henry cried out. "I know you're in there. You can fight this".

"Josie is indisposed pet" she told him. "Looks like it's you and me."

Dean came up behind her with the demon killing blade. She screamed in pain and fell to her knees before she took a breath and said, "that's no way to treat a lady."

The four ran from the room and made their way to the impala. Robin and Sam jumped in the back while Dean and Henry took the front. They peeled away and Dean found a quiet place to pull over off the road in a grassy area by a bridge.

The passenger side of the Impala burst open, and Henry shot out before he stumbled and threw up.

The other three got out of the car and watched him carefully.

"Are you okay" Sam asked?

"Yes" He gasped before he threw up again, "I will be. It's just all the adventures I enjoy are usually of the literary nature."

"Yeah, well, now that you're done blowing chunks, you want to tell us who Betty Crocker was" Dean demanded?

"Abaddon" Henry sighed. "She's a demon."

"Caught that much" Robin nodded. "Where the hell did she come from?!"

"Where'd you come from" Dean added?

"You were exactly right my dear" Henry nodded to Robin, "She's from Hell. I'm from Normal, Illinois – 1958."

"Yeah, right" Dean snapped. Henry nodded affirming his claim while Dean looked to Robin and Sam, "Seriously? Dudes time-travelling through motel-room closets? That's what we've come to?"

"If you could just take me to John, we could clear all this up, I'm sure" Henry sighed.

"I've told you that's not gonna happen" Dean snapped.

"Why not" Henry snapped back?

"Because he's dead" Dean barked!

Henry looked as though some one had just taken the air out of his balloon. "No" he whispered.

"What's it to you" Sam asked?

"Everything" Henry sighed. "I'm his father."

They all stared stunned looking at Henry for a moment. Robin's eyes went from Dean to Sam then back to Dean. Sam looked surprised but hopeful. Dean on the other hand clenched his jaw in what looked like anger, but she knew this was currently covering hurt as well. Robin, having grown up with the boys had only learned a few things about John Winchester. One of them was his father abandoned him. Robin bit her tongue as she watched Dean's chest rise and fall and his hands clench into tight fists.

There was a crash of thunder, and it began to rain. Being the only one not completely emotionally invested in this, Robin spoke up. "Let's get somewhere" she nodded. "Grab something to eat, hash this out."

The three men nodded. Sam and Robin exchanged looks. He too had picked up on his brother's reaction and gave Robin a nod, before he led Henry to the back seat. Robin climbed in the front seat with Dean, though he barely took note of it. She slid over close to him and leaned in. He stared straight ahead but put an arm around her still as he spun the impala around and they headed for a local diner.

As they walked in, Robin realized an exchange was required between the brothers. "Babe, grab me a club wrap" she nodded. "Henry and I will grab a table." His jaw solidified and he nodded to her. She and Henry found a booth and sat across from each other.

"So those are my grandsons" he said quietly to her.

"Looks like" Robin nodded.

"I take it you're my granddaughter in-law" he asked?

"No" she shook her head. "I am Dean's girlfriend. We're not married."

"So future granddaughter in-law" he corrected?

She scoffed, "Sure."

"I'm sorry I didn't catch your name" he told her.

"Robin Singer" she put out her hand. He took it and shook.

"Quite the spell you used back there" he told her.

"And with nothin up my sleeve" she sighed looking at the specials card sitting on the table

"How did you meet the guys" he asked her?

"John was friends with my dad" she replied. "We sort of grew up together."

"Is your dad nearby" Henry asked? "I'd like to meet him."

"No" she shook her head. "He's gone too."

"I'm so sorry" He shook his head.

"Me too" she nodded.

Sam and Dean joined them at the table and placed her basket in front of her before he slid in the booth with her. Sam sat in the other side by Henry and placed a basket in front of him. "How you doing" Sam asked?

"I'll be fine" he nodded. "After all, despite everything, I've just met my grandsons, haven't I?" He extended a hand to Sam, "Henry Winchester. It's a pleasure."

"Sam" he extended and took his grandfather's hand.

"Hello, Sam" he nodded and extended a hand to Dean, which was ignored.

"This is Dean" Sam nodded.

"Right" He replied, trying to get a read on Dean. "I heard that you and Robin have known each other since you were kids."

"Yup" Dean replied. "She's not typically the chatty type."

"The answers were short" he nodded. "Women are typically much chattier than her. At least from my experience."

"Loving the gender generalizations" Robin snapped as she ate a fry.

Dean let out a long breath of annoyance before he looked back to Henry. "Well, this has been touching. How about we figure out how to clean up your mess, huh?"

"Abaddon" Henry sighed. "Yes. She must be stopped."

"How come she didn't die when I stabbed her" Dean demanded?

"Because demons can't be killed by run-of-the-mill cutlery" Henry nodded. "At the very least, you'd need an ancient demon-killing knife of the Kurds."

Dean reached in his jacket and revealed the handle, "That's what this is" He growled.

"Where'd you get that" Henry asked in astonishment?

"Sam's ex" Robin muttered, earning a glare from Sam.

"Now, that portal or whatever it was you came through – is it still open" Sam asked?

"I highly doubt it" Henry shook his head. "Why?"

"I'm just thinking if we can't kill this Abaddon – "Sam shrugged.

"– maybe we can shove her back where she came from. How did you do it" Dean snapped?

"It's a blood sigil" Henry shrugged. "Blood leads to blood. Or their next of kin."

"But Abaddon hitched a ride on your coattails" Robin nodded. "Can you make one again?"

"My blood, an angel feather, tears of a dragon, a pinch of the sands of time" He nodded "– I – I would need those and... at least a week for my soul to recharge, but, yes, it's possible."

"You tapped the power of your soul to get here" Sam asked in deep curiosity? "I thought only angels could do that."

"You should know this" Henry nodded. "What level are you two?"

"What level" Dean asked?

"Level of knowledge" he nodded. "You're Men of Letters, correct?"

They looked between the three of them.

"I'm a little rusty on my boy bands" Dean snapped. "Men of what?"

"Men of Letters" He nodded, "like your father, who taught you our ways."

"Our father taught us how to be hunters" Sam nodded.

Henry laughed at Sam's response before he realized, they weren't joking. "You're not. Are you? Hunters? Well, hunters are... Hunters are apes. You're supposed to – you're legacies."

"Legacies of what" Dean asked?

"It's, it's too much to explain" Henry shook his head. "We need to get to the bottom of this. We need to get to Normal Illinois."

"Well of course" Dean scoffed.

Robin looked at him with determination. "If it helps us with the hell bitch, he's right" she nodded.

"Your girl here is smart" Henry told him, "Though I could have done without the language."

"Sorry, I'm a hunter" she nodded, "Only just learned to walk upright."

They drove several hours to reach their destination. They were parked outside of a comic bookstore and Robin grinned as her inner geek called to her.

Henry examined a door "No" he whispered.

"Well this has all been enlightening" Dean snapped before clapping his hands. " Let's hit the road, huh?"

"Give him a minute, Dean" Sam nodded.

"We just spent four hours driving, okay" He barked? "All he did was stare out the window and request Pat Boone on the radio. He had his time."

"It's just a facade, a way to rook our enemies into believing we are housed elsewhere" Henry shook his head.

Robin could feel a pull from the building, "I don't know about that" she said as she walked up to the stone wall.

"Robin" Dean asked?

"Something happened" she nodded approaching the building and placing her hand on it. "It's calling to me."

"Robin" Sam said in a warning tone.

She placed a hand on the emblem carved into the stone. "interiorem oculum videam quae vocat ad mi."

There were flashes of visions playing in her head. Fire, screaming. It was Hell fire, she could feel the burning, the fear, and then she saw her, Abaddon. The vision ended with a gasp.

"Robin" Dean asked standing behind her and putting his arms around her?

She looked to Henry. "Was there a fire when you left" she asked?

"No" He shook his head in confusion.

"There was after" she told him steadying herself. "It was hell fire. I felt it."

"Are you a seer" Henry asked?

"Something like that" she sighed.

"Okay, enough with the decoder talk" Dean demanded. "How about you tell us what this whole "Men of Letters" business is, or you're on your own."

"It's none of your concern" He snapped at him.

"Why, because we're hunters" Dean roared? "What do you have against us?"

"Aside from the unthinking, unwashed, shoot-first-and-don't-bother-to-ask-questions-later part, not much, really" He shrugged.

"Whoa, John's mantra" Robin scoffed.

Dean glared at her.

"You know what" Sam snapped? "Wait a second. We're also John's children."

"You're more than that, actually" Henry sighed. "My father and his father before him were both Men of Letters, as John and you two should have been. We're preceptors, beholders, chroniclers of all that which man does not understand. We share our findings with a few trusted hunters – the very elite. They do the rest."

"So, you're like Yodas to our Jedis" Dean asked him?

"That was 1977 babe" Robin looked at him. "Way before his time. But if you want elite, I assure you that your grandsons are the best hunters this country has to offer

"If you guys were such a big deal" Sam asked, "then why haven't we – or anyone we know – ever heard of you?"

"Abaddon" He sighed, "Robin, what did you see?"

"Fire, blood, screaming, a demon walking around with a shit eating grin on her face. Another day at the office" she shrugged.

Henry let out a deep breath before he led them into the comic shop.

"Henry. Why" Sam asked? "Why'd she do it?"

"I think for this" He nodded as he produced a box with the same symbol that was etched on the door.

"Okay, what's that" Sam asked?

"I wish I knew" he replied as he placed it safely back in his pocket. "Abaddon attacked us the night of my final initiation. All secrets were to be revealed then."

"Let me get this straight. You traveled through time to protect something that does you don't know what from a demon that you know nothing about" Dean growled? Henry looked at Dean before he headed down the hall to the store front. The others followed him and looked around the comic store.

Robin grinned at the crates on tables containing hundreds of comics. The posters on the wall, Spawn, Dragon Ball, Wolverine and then one in particular caught her eye. Sam wasn't far behind her, she gently backhanded his arm and pointed. Sam looked and clenched his jaw realizing what he was seeing.

"Other than the dude looking like Fabio and the chick like Lara Croft" she nodded. "That look familiar to you?"

The poster had, as she described two people standing together stunned in a lab with black goo splattered everywhere. The man had a speech bubble that read "Dean?". The title said Supernatural, Survival of the Fittest, by Carver Edlund.

"How" Sam asked?

"It was after Kevin" she shook her head. "It doesn't add up."

"Someone else took his pen name" Sam asked?

"Only one prophet" she shook her head. "And I promise Kevin hasn't been writing any best sellers."

"Maybe it was a prophecy he had before he died" Sam shrugged?

"What's the holdup" Dean joined them and looked at both of their pale faces? Robin took his face in her hands and turned it to face the poster.

He looked at it and furrowed his brow. "Is that-?"

"Minutes after you went to Purgatory" Robin nodded.

"That doesn't make sense" Dean shook his head.

"Right" Sam scoffed?

Dean looked at it again and sighed, "we'll have to come back to this. And unkillable demon takes priority."

"Right" Robin nodded as she and Sam took one last look before they followed Dean.

"You look like Lara Croft" Dean scoffed.

"Ultimate bad-ass and girl of his dreams" she shrugged. "It fits."

Henry approached the three and looked at Sam "Hand me your... walkie-talkie."

They paused for a second to process the dated request.

"You mean my phone" Sam asked?

"Even better" Henry nodded. Sam handed him his phone. Henry had no idea what he was holding, he didn't even flip it over before he held it to his mouth, "Operator, I need Delta 457."

"Who are you not calling" Dean asked?

"Our emergency number" Henry told him.

"The number you are calling is not in service Henry" Robin shrugged. She started for the counter and smiled at the girl. She'd noticed her looking at her earlier

"They can't all be gone" Henry shook his head in frustration. "There must be another elder out there who can help us figure out how to stop Abaddon and what to do with the box."

"Hi sweetheart" Robin smiled at her. "I couldn't borrow your computer, could I? Just for a sec?"

"Like you could fit a computer in this room" Henry scoffed.

The girl furrowed her brow at Henry and then turned to Robin, "Sure" she giggled.

"Thanks" Robin winked as she turned it around. "Henry, names" she ordered.

"Um... Ackers, David. Larry Ganem" Henry started listing them off "Um, Ted –."

Robin saw the girl checking her out in her peripheral vision. To keep her happy Robin stuck her ass out a little further for a better view, she then saw Dean checking her out as well. "Got it" she nodded standing up straight. "A tragic fire at a gentlemen's club. 242 Gaines Street. Four Dead."

"This is 242 Gaines Street" Henry nodded. "But there was no fire."

"Henry, I promise you there was" She nodded before she turned back to the computer and continued to read. "Larry Ganem, David Ackers, Ted Bowen, and Albert Magnus – all deceased."

"Albert Magnus" Henry nodded.

"He a friend of yours" Dean asked?

"Even better" Henry nodded before he headed out.

Robin looked back at the girl and winked, "Thank you, so very much."

The girl giggled nervously as Robin turned to follow the others.

"Full show huh" Dean asked walking with her?

"Baby you know that was not the full show" she scoffed.

They found their way to a cemetery just as the sun set, Henry leading the way to a specific area of graves.

"These were my friends" He side looking at the stones, "my mentors, our last defense against the Abaddon's of the world."
