"Do you want to grab some dinner with me?"

She smiled
"I'll pick you up okay?" Leah said
I nodded
"Oh by the way- can you unblock me?"
I laughed

It's been a couple hours later
"Hi- you look amazing" Leah said
"Thank you- you look okay" I said and sat down
"I look okay?"
I nodded
"That's sweet"
"I'm just kidding- you look beautiful" I said and hugged her
"Are you lying?"
"I'm not- where are we going?" I asked
"Where do you want to go?"
"You're the one taking me out Leah"
"Okay okay" She said
We arrived at the restaurant some minutes later
She opened the door for me
"Thank you" I said
She gave me a small smile

"Do you want something else to drink beautiful"
I looked up from my phone
"No thank you, I'm fine"
The waiter looked at me
"What about y-"
"No thank you" I said
He nodded and walked away
"Did he really call you beautiful?"
"Yes he did" Y/n said

"I don't think he should call you that"
"Oh so I'm ugly"
"No, you're not. You know-? Nevermind. Let's just enjoy this dinner"

It's been a couple hours later- we arrived at Y/ns place
"Thanks for taking me out- I really enjoyed tonight"
She said and hugged me
"I'll see you tomorrow" She said and opened the car door
"Uhm- yes tomorrow"
She smiled at me before closing the door

We're having some free time- we're with the England squad
"What are you doing?" Y/n asked and sat down next to me
"Just watching some videos"
She placed her head on my shoulder
"Tired?" I asked
"A bit"

She nodded
"You look so much happier than a couple months ago"

Y/n laughed and shook her head no
"This isn't the right moment Y/n but I can't wait any longer- can you please be-"
"Leah where's me charger?" Georgia asked
"How am I supposed to know?"
"You stole it"
"I did not" I said

"Oh wait it's in my bag- I forgot. I'm sorry" She said and walked away
"So?" Y/n said
"So?"
"So can I please be-?"
"Oh yes- uhm Y/n- I love you so much. Can you please be my girlfriend again
"I- I- oh wow uhm- I really love you Leah and- uhm"
"You can say no it's okay"
"I just- it's a bit of a surprise and-"
"It's okay-" I got up and walked away
"No Leah wait" Y/n said
I turned around
Y/n got up and pulled me closer to her
She kissed me
"I miss being around you- I do want to be your girlfriend. I've never stopped loving you and I never will"

"Girls I can't do this- I really can't. My ankle is hurting too much" Keira said
"I'll do it" Y/n said
"No, I'll do it" I said
"Leah are you sure?" Y/n asked
I nodded
"We all know what happened last time. I believe in you and I know how much this means to you but I also know what's going to happen if you miss and I don't want to see you sad agai-"

I closed my eyes, just like I did 4 years ago
I waited a couple seconds
I was standing in between Lucy and Beth
They were screaming
I opened my eyes, Leah scored
We won- we fucking won the World Cup
I ran over to Leah
She was sitting down on the ground
I embraced her in a hug, she was crying
"We fucking won Leah-"
I tried to help her up
"This is all because of you"
She hugged me
"I'm so happy" She said
"Come on let's celebrate this moment" I said
I ran over to my teammates and hugged them
I was thanking our fans when someone wrapped their arm around me
"Hi baby" Leah said
"Hi" I said
"I'm so happy" She said
"I'm proud of you" I said
"I'm also proud of you" She said and hugged me
She whispered something in my ear
"Hmm?"
"Do you want to marry me?"
"Are you serious?"
"I don't have a ring and I don't want to go down on one knee but this is a special moment and I-"
"Yes- of course I want to marry you" I said and hugged her again
"Leah- are you ready to lift the trophy?" Sarina said
She nodded
"Let's go" She said and grabbed my hand
