Ethan tried to control his emotions as soon as Harry and Logan were back he could tell they both had a good day they were smiling and Ethan felt his heart break some more.
"Daddy! Look daddy got this for me !" He said excitedly showing his huge dark brown Teddy bear to Ethan who smiled despite how he felt " am happy you had a good day now uncle Dave is waiting for you ok let me talk to Harry for second"
" Oh ok bye !" He said to Harry before leaving.
"Hey," Harry said with a nervouse smile, Ethan was glaring at him and he didn't know why.
"Are you happy I bet you're extatic" Ethan said angrily." Ethan what's wrong I know I can't change what happened between us but am truly sorry I just wish I wasn't soo stupid" he said and
Ethan almost believed him for second. "so you're gonna act like you don't know like you didn't send your mother to harass me and sue me for custody of my own child a child I gave birth to, what did I do to you and your family I know am not or will ever be as rich as you but i don't deserve this" Ethan said tears already coming down his face, Ethan hated this he never wanted to cry infront Harry again he felt weak.
" what?, I would never Ethan I didn't do it" Harry said confusion in his eyes. " I would never want to take soobin from you am sorry am gonna make ths right I promise I won't "
Harry tried to reassure Ethan
"tell me why in the world should I believe you Harry?" Ethan said whipping his tears
"I know I really hurt you and I don't expect that you ever forgive, and honestly I don't deserve it but I mean it when I say I would never take Logan from you, believe me for the love that we shared for four years."
Harry says
"Harry I really hope so I can't loose my baby I just can't" Ethan says.
" you won't I will make sure of it let me just have a word with mother"
With that Harry hurried home to his parents house.
As soon as he went into his home his mother came rushing to him.
" Harry I met that ex husband of yours and he had the nerve to act sad I'll definitely destroy him" she says to him and Harry feels like a fool for letting his mother talk Ethan like that for years.
" mother you need to stop this now I don't want full custody of my son " Harry says and his mother frowns
" what do you mean I know how much you've wanted to have children honey this is your chance" his mother says.
"Not like this and not to Ethan I hurt him mother he had the right to do all he did I ruined our marriage" he says.
" but Harry, he deserved it he was not fit for you" she says trying to comfort him.
" but mother Ethan was the perfect husband he endured soo much for me and i did nothing but watch I was the wrong husband I deserve whatever's happening to me but even though I cheated Ethan still let me meet my son don't you see mother Ethan is not who you claim he is" Harry says and his mother frowns
" did he try to persuade you I know he knows you love him he's just trying to use it against me"
"just stop already am not taking Ethan to court ok and that's my final decision that's it" he says and he's mother gasps.
" Harry how dare you talk to me like that over that retched thing"
" mother I dare you to say any more harsh words!" He yells and he's mother keeps quiet as she looks at him in shock.
"you need to stop this already, cancel whatever plans you have made with your lawyer or I'll never step foot in this house again!" He says more firmly.
" no!, Am sorry Harry I just thought I was doing what was best for. You please don't leave me your my only child please" she says as tears start to fall.
" just do as I say mother do you agree?" He asks and she nodes her head, he soflt hugs her.
"mother I know you love me but sometimes you can be too much can I please just be with who I want to be with I don't love Sharon nor do I ever want to marry her " he says
" I understand son am sorry, I just worry" she says
" I know I need you to apologize to Ethan and meet your grandson properly he is just a smart good boy I know you'll love him" he says with a smile .
" I can't believe I finally have a grandson, but Ethan obviously hates me, he will never let me near my grandson" she says.
" oh he will This Ethan we are talking about he is the sweetest kindest person I know" Harry says .
Ethan couldn't believe it, Harry's mother. Was in his home this time she was not furious or insulting him she looked remorseful for the first time.
"c-can I offer you anything?" Ethan asks.
"um sure water will be fine" the woman says.
After Ethan brings the water she takes a sip of it and puts it away.
"uum I can to apologize for how I have been treating you, I just thought I was doing the right thing but my son talked to me and I have seen that I have soo unfair to you for so many years" she says.
Ethan felt like he was in a weird dream was this really his ex mother inlaw the woman who despised him, was she really apologizing it was very strange.
" um I don't know what to say honestly" Ethan says.
" I know forgiving me won't be easy. But I hope one day we could put our past behind us" she says.
She sounded like she really was meaning what she was saying.
" yes I guess I need time but thank you for apologizing honestly you made me so worhrless when I was married to your son but I guess I have to move on and I will definitely forgive you one day" Ethan says and the woman nodes her head.
" thank you, and I will not be sueing you anymore" she says and Ethan felt like he could finally relax Logan was not going to be taken away from him.
"Am relieved, would you like to finally meet Logan?" And the woman egarly nodes her head .
Ethan calls for his baby and he comes running holding his plushie. Ethan sees how Mr lakewood smiles as she looks at Logan.
"baby aren't you going to great our guest?" Ethan says to Logan who shyly greets the woman.
" baby this is your grandma" Ethan explains to him and he smiles at his grandmother who calls him and hugs him.
"Wow you look so much like my son" she says softly Ethan could see how she was holding back from crying it was honestly soo awasome to see her be so emotional about meeting Logan, Logan was definitely going to be the most spoiled kid.
Ethan leaves to make lunch as the two talked.
The next day Ethan was leaving court not because of the custody of his son but Harry had finally signed the divorce papers, everything finally seemed to be going right, they also had to share the custody of their son with Ethan having 70%of it which Harry did not object to.
" I guess this is it I just hope you forgive me Ethan, am really sorry I don't know why I did that when we were married please forgive me" Harry says to him.
" it's fine I have forgiven you already Harry I have finally moved on, maybe we were just not ment to be together" Ethan says with a weak smile.
" maybe but I will never regret marrying you I truly did love you and how you took care of me"
" I never regret marrying you too I mean look at the little cutie we created" they both turn to look Logan who was chatting with his grandmother.
" I guess so he is precious".
" Harry I wish you all the best alright I know you will meet someone who you're going to love right I just know it" Ethan says and Harry smiles.
"I wish you the best and that whoever you end with treats you the right way because you truly deserve it, I hope we can still be friends though" he says taking his hand out for a hand shake.
Ethan hugs him instead, after that Harry leaves to finalize some work that he has missed.
Ethan couldn't help but cry out of relief it seemed to good to true.
" I thought you promised that the next time we would meet you would be happy and not crying" Ethan gasp at that voice it could only belong to one man.
" Morgan" Ethan turned and it was indeed him looking as handsome as ever with a smile. Ethan couldn't help but hug him and Morgan hug him back.
" these are tears of joy I swear" Ethan says after pulling back.
" they better be, I missed you" Morgan says rubbing Ethan's left cheek softly.
" I-i missed you too" Ethan says.
"What happened" Morgan asks
" well Harry's mom cancelled the court thing and Harry finally signed the divorce papers." Ethan said with a smile.
" does that mean you are single now" Morgan asks with a smirk.
" yeah why do you ask"
" well I would like to be with you" he said.
"Be with you as in-" Ethan was cut of by Logan who ran to them screaming and hugging Morgan who lifted him spinning him around.
Ethan smiled as the two talked with excitment he chuckled when logan dragged Morgan into the house to show him his favourite toys and tv shows.
Later that night Morgan had to leave since it was getting late.
" am sorry about Logan he can be a drama queen sometimes" Ethan apologized as he was escorting Morgan to his car.
" it's fine am sure he was just sad to see me go away" he says with a smile.
"So how long are you going to be staying here?" Ethan asked
" what you want me gone already?" Morgan asked.
" no! I mean I don't want you to leave soon please"
"So you want me to stay then" Ethan blushed at that.
"honestly Ethan since the moment you got out of my car that night I haven't been able to stop thinking about you, I know you may not know this but I have had feelings for you for a long time, well the Truth is when Harry met you at the restaurant, well I had told him that I liked you and he told me to move on from you because we didn't belong to the same class at that moment I was convinced but I was very shocked to find out that you were his boyfriend all of the sudden, am ashamed for thinking you were with him for his money,I tried to convince myself that I didn't find you attractive but I did I still do so am asking for chance" be says moving closer to confused Ethan.
"A chance b-but I can't not now I don't know if I want to be in a relationship yet" Ethan says looking down at his shoes, Morgan lifted his head by holding his chin and skin they were looking at each other in the eyes.
"I know how you feel well not really but I understand, but please just give me a chance to at least show you how much you mean to me, just go out with me on a date please" he says rubbing his cheek softly.
"Mm alright then" Ethan said with a smile, Morgan left that night with a smile on his face.
